Nice place to buy a car thats been maintained and at a lower price than most other places.. Bought my vehicle and they said they would detail it; they cleaned the outside okay but in the seatbacks there was some trash and in the space in the crevices of the backseat werent cleaned at all. Also, it was missing the driver side floor mat and the second key for the vehicle. If you buy a vehicle here, just know that they dont take drafting...it has to be a paper check sent to this office. Overall, I love my vehicle and am happy with the deal I got!

Heard all the news! Went in to this location to look at cars! It was packed very busy location! All kinds of vehicles on the lot! All aggressively priced to sell! I was helped by Asia Zachary! Showed me all the cars that I wanted minus the ones that got sold earlier that morning. Like I said vehicles leaving the lot! Very professional and informative working with Asia! Also with the help of the finance manager got me riding off the lot too!

Best car buying experience Ive ever had. Prices are great and they dont jack it up when you get there. Very honest people. I would definitely buy from them again. If you want a nice affordable car, this is the place to go. But if you want good customer service, this is not the place. I purchased a vehicle last month which I love, but I have been trying to contact someone regarding my trade in with no luck. I eventually had to go to the location but they were so busy, which I understand. They need to get someone who specifically can focus on the customers because this is ridiculous.

Parking is a nightmare here with the lots layout. Id recommend checking their inventory online prior to going though.

I initially called requesting info on a Nissan Pathfinder and he mentioned that theyre extremely busy so try coming as soon as possible. Very busy location but through it all Lloyd kept in touch. There was minor repair needed so dropped the vehicle off to be fixed. It was returned thoroughly cleaned. Would recommend Lloyd again!!!

So then we called cooperation, they said the store is at fault, they don’t know how to do there inventory ! The follow up was not existent. I put in an application online and nobody reached out to me regarding the status of the application. I called the location a total of 3 times and all three times I was told I’d get a call back, which I’m yet to get. The sales agents are lazy and not responsive. I will not be purchasing a car from here or any other Hertz sales location. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I was very happy with my purchase that I made from hertz would’ve given them a five star but I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone from here but no one seems to answer the phones all day I brought a 2018 Chevy Malibu in February 27 2020 and it’s June my check engine light has come on yesterday which I found out that’s it’s the accelerator which GMC motors are being sue for faulty part. I just need answers because this should’ve been taken care of I shouldn’t have to come out of pocket for this. I’m 4 months pregnant and have a 2 and 8 year old that haul around everyday I swear if I had an accident and live somewhere somehow somebody is going to pay.

Great customer service!!! Claudia was my sales woman and she wonderful to work with. Wish this was my first stop and not my last. They turned a horrible experience into a fantastic experience. Brandi the finance manager was phenomenal. It took a week for her to get me my deal but that is because of the bank and she did her best and got me the best deal for me. Poor customer service. They are extremely slow when it comes to processing applications. I dealt with Lloyd, James and Claudia and couldn’t get anywhere with either of them. The sales team is lazy and they do not care about the customers. I had to call several times just to get my application processed. Each time I called they had some lie about what was going on. It just shouldn’t be this difficult of a process.

Overall I had an excellent experience here. My salesman, Dennis was very helpful and informative in my purchase of a 2019 Mustang GT. With his help I was able to find the perfect car for me and I couldnt be happier with my choice. I would recommend this location as well as katy for anyone wanting a great vehicle at a great price

The cars are a good price.....but the staff is a train wreck. We had to make 4 trips trying to buy a car. They didnt have the car the first trip....even though they said they did. 2nd trip they didnt have the right car. Third trip they had the car, but couldnt find it in their system. They called a week after we finally were able to buy it to say they had the wrong VIN on the vehicle and need to send a person to resign paperwork.

Hertz is unwilling to accept our credit union preapproval. Says its a company policy. Huge red flag. Do not recommend shopping with them.

I bought a 2017 Ford Explorer. I scheduled a test drive with Esmeralda, she was great, handed the keys right over to me to test out. The price was at least $2,000 less than all other listings I could find online. This may be because it had a few door dings. They claim to be a no haggle price, but you can haggle with tire tread if they are low, or anything that is below normal safety standards. They provide an independent 112 point inspection by a 3rd party and a 12,000 or one year warranty. Extremely satisfied with my purchase. Before I left, they detailed the car filled the tank up with gas and gave me a free oil change. I immediately took the car on a road trip and it ran great. I will update my review if anything changes.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I inquired about a car on Sunday and completed my finance application. I received an automated message that evening letting me know someone would reach out to me on Monday. On Monday, I called FIVE times to check the status of my application and no one answered. Late Monday evening I received an email from a salesman saying he received my inquiry and told me that he thinks the car sold. On Tuesday, I called AGAIN to check the status of my finance application and ask whether the car sold or was still available. I spoke with Rohit and he assured me that the car did not sale and was available for me to purchase. I made an appointment to purchase the car on Wednesday at 5:00. Great, right? Wrong! I called Wednesday because I never received an appointment confirmation or any paperwork from financing. Rohit wasn’t available, so I spoke with a lady who told me she would have the original guy that emailed me call me back. Eventually the guy called me back and told me, not only was the car sold, but they pulled my credit for the sold car!!!! I asked to speak with his manager and he transferred me to a nameless voicemail that never returned my call. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Terrible customer service! I was there for three hours one day and five hours the next. They were very busy because of the bankruptcy news but still needed better organization and attitudes from the sellers. Always get a presale inspection. They don’t fill up the gas all the way, don’t replace the tires, windshields are often cracked but you get a cheap deal. The process to buy a car took over three hours. One seller works with multiple customers at a time. You aren’t paying for customer service here. It may be a hassle so think, is it worth it to buy a car few thousand dollar cheaper with some cosmetic damage and bad customer service?

Awful experience. After I bought my car there, I took it back to get the air filters cleaned out. The entire time I felt ignored and disrespected by Rohit. Wont be returning to this place ever again. AWFUL.

Went in on Saturday with approval from bank, told the first salesman what I was interested and a price range and asked for a test drive. Everything was good till the end of my visit, even after I told them I had a approval through my bank the manager Roscoe still insisted I try and finance through him I told him multiple times no, and looking at the paperwork he provided me he was trying to charge me $1,000+ over what I had originally asked for! Very disappointed with the service! I told my parents about my experience so they tried call and speak with Roscoe and he told my parents I had lied about what happened! I can’t express enough how disappointed I am with my experience!

I got my car in April and I have yet to receive my license plates. I have called about this numerous times. My last two times speaking with Claudia and Michael. Being on hold for over an hour at least one time. Its June my temporary tags have expired after being told it takes 30-60 days. After calling after what seems to be the 3rd or 4th time. I just got a call saying my car failed inspection and thats why I could not get my license plate. Michael said that I would have to bring my car in to get the problems from inspections corrected before the plates could be reapplied for. I got my car around April 14, 2019. I had my car maybe 2 weeks before my check engine light came on. I was instructed to take my car to the Volkswagen dealership. Momentum Volkswagen is the one I have been working with. I have requested the release dates in/out, as well as, a list of each problem from Momentum. I will be sending them to you, as soon as, they reach me.I purchased my Volkswagen CC 2014 on April 14, 2019. Since then the vehicle, I have had to return it to the dealership a total of at least 4 times. My vehicle has been out of service for repairs for a total of 2 calendar days.I am currently unable to receive a license plate due to the cars inability to pass inspection.*Edit* They had the car reinspected and was given back to me after it passed. Just waiting for a few weeks to pass to see what happens then.

I bought a car from Hertz Houston South last week.Mr. Brook was my salesperson. It was THE BEST experience I have ever had. ( I have bought several new and used cars in the last 20 years and I have never seen such a great people like them in this business). Their manager was really helpful and supportive, my car had minor issues(tire and front bumper) and they solved the issue with kindness.

Have bought 5 cars from Hertz over the last 3 years. 3 from Brook Hall. Have never had a problem. Advertised price is what you get and in a couple of cases the price was lower. Fast and friendly service easy to deal with. Will buy from again.

They’re running a scam. My mom didn’t speak any English so the finance manager took advantage of her. He told her to sign a bunch of papers, and didn’t explain what they were. Which is illegal btw. They were all extra warranties which we very clearly and multiple times told him we didn’t want. We went the next day to cancel and he purposely didn’t fill out the form properly so it was rejected and never cancelled. We ended up having to call and send the form in ourselves. Never ever buy a car here!

I purchased a VW Passat at this location about 3 years ago. The car runs beautifully. The pick-up is great. I love my car, but its time for a new one. (There was already a bit of mileage on the car when I first bought it and I have a job that requires a lot of travel, so Ive put in 4x the amount of miles.) The service here was great when I came in! Even though they were swamped with customers we got in and out within a reasonable amount of time. I guess this review is more for the call centers??? Because thats where Im assuming my call goes to. I filled out the financial application, and received an email. I responded, but got nothing back. The original email states to call them for an update, so I did. Of course, I can only speak to the person who was assigned my app, Heather, but she was busy. I left her a voicemail and still no call back. I have sent Heather over 5 emails and none have received a response. My calls have not been returned. I would like to go in this weekend to view a specific car, but I have no idea where I stand. I understand they are swamped, 100%. But at least an email would be nice, since they asked for a response originally? It would help to know if I can purchase the car on my own or just ask my dad to co-sign. Sorry for the long review, but if youre interested in purchasing a car here and would like info on their financing, just wait until the social climate has change.

My experience was not good. I stated that I was thinking of buying a used car. I had a list prepared of all the ones I wanted to see. The sales representative was extremely brisk with me. And spent all of 8 mins showing me the cars I was looking for. I planned to come back later this week or next week to purchase but due to my experience that will not be happening.

The Bankruptcy Sale is crazy, they need Security and or a Hall Monitor. Demand for assistance was greater than the staff could keep up with. PLEASE be Patient with these folks, while I was there for 6 hours to pick, drive and close my deal there were so many rude customers. All because they had to sign in and wait for help. Their was at least 50 people on the list when I arrived at 12:30pm.

Wonderful lot! Staff is so friendly and work with you! My mother bought a car and they explained every single document she signed, Showed her the history on the vehicle and explained to us that our vehicle comes with all kinds of warranties. We were both so satisfied with this place. We are so happy with the car she bought! I highly recommend this place. Cars or VERY affordable and GREAT!!

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! This place was disgusting. Walked into the office and was greeted with a who you looking for?. When I told him (never introduced himself) which car I was looking for he took me out the lot to find it. Naturally I wanted to test drive - it took him no less than 10 minutes to come back with keys. Waited long enough for another salesperson in the lot to ask if I needed help. Then he needed another lengthy trip back to the office to copy my license and come back with temp plates.Finally took the car for a spin but was disgusted with the stale smell of cigarette smoke inside the car and how dirty the outside was. When I told him about the smell of smoke in the car he wasnt concerned at all and only asked what our options ares?. I initially asked him if he had another vehicle but changed my mind and left before he came back. Never heard from him again and would never go back. Terrible!

I live out of state, my vehicle was totaled in a hail storm, and I had everything lined out with my insurance and bank to purchase a used vehicle from this dealership, On the phone these people were very professional, however,I talked to someone who put down my info wrong for the buyers order including my name, bankers contact info, and address even after Ive spelled it multiple times.Between my job, the no follow ups, me calling different parties, and the incorrect info put down on their side, I missed out on two cars from this place being sold out from underneath me. On both, my banker was done with the order and asking my insurance for the binder. If you buy a car from this place, make sure youre there in person because based on my experience they will not work with you very much if youre not local and they really stick to their first come first serve policy, even if youre making plans to leave a few hours later the very same day and be there to purchase.

After spending all day looking for a vehicle and being ignored by sales men at other dealerships, we decided to check at Hertz. Rigoberto Hernandez immediately walked up to us to assist, we told him what we were looking for and our budget and that’s exactly what he helped us with. Loved that he did not pressure other vehicles that were not in our budget. Thank you so much Rigoberto and the other two team members that stayed late after closing so we could drive out the lot with our new vehicle!Only negative- They would not tell us the rate until we brought the down payment. I’ve been in banking for years as a loan officer and I know the underwriter discloses that information when an approval has been made. We were presented the monthly payment but again no rate and no term until we asked. That should be disclosed always, the buyer shouldn’t have to persist.Also inspect your vehicle very very carefully before signing anything! They won’t replace a thing after you have signed.

Just purchased a car today and the experience was easy and enjoyable. Our salesperson was Tammy and she was Great! She worked with us for over a week to identify the right vehicles to test drive and then indulged us once by letting us drive 4 different models. Once we made our decision, the Finance Manager made finishing the deal easy, even negotiating with the bank to lower our rate so that we could get the payments we wanted.

HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY! Worst car buying experience of my entire life. Process started out smoothly until we got to the purchasing process. Staff was yelling back and forth to each other and our sales lady (Esmeralda) was repeatedly reprimanded in front of us for being too loud, acting strange etc... This should have been a red flag but I didn’t give it much thought at the time. Fast forward to several weeks after purchasing the vehicle, the sales lady texts me asking for pictures of my SOCIAL SECURITY CARD “for the bank.”. I refused and said I would need to go through the bank, I will not be sending anyone pictures like that. She told me that I should expect a call from the bank but I never heard anything so I reached out myself. Bank had no idea what I was talking about. Several days later, Esmeralda claims the bank is threatening to repo my car if I don’t send the pictures. Bull, that’s not how that works. Several weeks later and many, many phone calls later, I finally got the bank the info they needed with almost NO help from this clueless staff. I felt violated and threatened on more than one occasion and thought I was going to have to get legal help to sort this out. Save yourself the trouble and buy with Enterprise.

I purchased a car from this dealership and the service received was beyond horrible. I am out of state and needed to conduct the transaction in a timely manner. They received a check (full payment)and proof of insurance next day after my daughter test drove the vehicle, and simply needed my signature via Fed Ex. They dragged their feet with the paperwork even after explaining the need for things to run in a timely manner because my daughter needed to move into her apartment. They were rude on phone calls and rude to my state farm bank agent ( who by the way went above and beyond her duties). Even after receiving the paperwork the car still wasnt cleaned and ready to go, even though they had the check 8days prior. Customer care is seriously lacking. Ive never had such a poor car buying experience as this one.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They lie to you. Dont trust them at all. I can relay on the earlier comment that someone put in for plates. Sam experience. Come on have some integrity. Wasted my money on insurance and the loan and the car is in my parking lot for last month and a half.

I was truly impressed with the service was provided with at Herz, very down to earth people who did not at all fit the used car salesman stereotype, very helpful and transparent with their price and policy. Kevin helped me and was very helpful going above and beyond his required job, remembering and reminding me of things I had mentioned about the car and making sure they were fixed even though I did not remember.Very good experience at this dealership. I bought my first car from here about 2 months ago. The person that sold me the car was Esmeralda Robles and she was very helpful. I never felt pressured or anything like that. I was already pre-approved through my bank so I didnt have to worry that. I was there for maybe two hours and left with the car I wanted.

Edit: THEY CANCELLED MY WARRANTY WITHOUT REASON OR NOTICE!! YOU CANT CALL WITHOUT A PERSONAL CONTACT NUMBER OR IT HANGS UP ON YOU!! Original: At first, I thought this place was amazing. Then, my plates didnt come in the mail. When I first called they told me to hang tight. When I called again a couple weeks later they said I needed to come back because they messed up my inspection so I couldnt get plates. That was two years ago. Now, Im trying to call in my warranty because of a problem they told me not to worry about and the phone number listed on their website and here asks you for area code and phone number and then hangs up on you. I literally cannot get a hold of them because their listed numbers hang up on you. Terrible customer service. Do not buy a car here!

Upon arriving, the parking was very tight and extremely clustered. The staff was very nice, but when looking at the cars, some of them had different parts missing. We checked out the interior of the car, when we opened it there was candy wrappers and the music was blaring, it was very unapproachable. The building and parking lot needs to be revamped and updated.

I purchased my car from this location almost a year ago. Prior to driving off the lot, we insisted that some of the minor details need to be repaired. There was a gather of dried paint on the front bumper, small dings in the car, and the cars charger fuse was not working. To fix the paint issue, the body shop attendant said that We will have to move the front bumper and repaint that area to prevent any smear, instead of painting over it. However, when the car was finished, the paint recovery was great, but a metal piece in the crease near the grille was visible that had not been before. I attend school in Denton,TX so that repair couldnt be done immediately, and I was ensured that it would be taken care of when I return in a few months. It was not repaired. About 4 months later, I am driving and a small tire piece in the road rolls from underneath another car and hits my front bumper on the left side. A small impact like the one that had happened could not have caused the left side of the bumper to separate from the body. However, that wasnt the only issue. My back brakes were going out and there was a horrible scraping noise because of it. I had not purchased the vehicle too long ago, so why were my brakes so terrible. Apparently the car had not undergone full inspection prior to being placed on the lot. I called on numerous occasions, was physically present at the location, and each time I was given the run around as to why we (my mom and I) couldnt speak to the manager, or why the repairs requested couldnt be fixed. We decided to take the issue to a local five-star body shop near our home. After looking at our car and explaining the issue to the attendant, he said that he could repair the car, but that will be a waste of money when we have warranty at Hertz. It was all too frustrating and I did not want to deal with Hertz anymore, but it gave me a push when the attendant at the other facility pointed out that the bumper wasnt accurately replaced - when repairing the paint - but instead was super glued and primed. The body shop repairman at Hertz only didnt mention superglue until we came back with paperwork from the other shop. He was guilty, but tried to place blame and say that I tried to super glue my car. We eventually did speak with the manager and my car was repaired. Well at least I thought it was properly repaired. I can hear my brakes again. A week ago, I got a flat in my tire from a nail in the road. Question: How does a tire blow out cause the front bumper to separate from its body - on the same exact side? I would not recommend purchasing your vehicle from Hertz. Save yourself the stress.

Best car buying experience ever...They had the car I wanted to see ready and waiting for me to look over and test drive. Financing was totally headache free. They explained everything and answered all my questions clearly.

My best friend had to buy a car after her’s was totaled. These are only a year old and have the bells and whistles. The car she wound up getting should have been out of her price range, but she asked to look at it anyway. When the dealer went to get it and bring it to us, he came back without it and said he didn’t want to show it to us because it was damaged. It turned out the damage was just a nickel-sized melted spot on the driver’s seat. We said “that’s what seat covers are for” and asked to see it anyway. She loved it and said she wanted it, and he knocked off $3000 for the melted upholstery!

Sales people nice and cars priced GREAT. Problem is the did whats called spot financing and i NEVER knew it. I signed the ckntract, I paid the down payment .... and I THOUGHT i was the owner of a car. 2 weeks later...... they say the financing fell through!!!! Now im car-less with a signed contract that isnt worth the paper its written on. And what was the solution Hertz is doing???? Saying they will get my money back in 3 to 5 weeks!!!!! Im beyond angry

They posted a car for sale in eve very low price in a way that I travel 400 miles from east texas, the sales guy did not accept down payment and declined to stay over an hour, so I drove here and they stayed calling me asking if I was coming. 15 min before I arrived they called me saying the car you want is sold, but we have other options.. are you F... kidding me?!?!??

Terrible place. Was told none of the cars had back up camera when it was untrue. In addition, sales person was rude and kept giving the attention to other things when we were ready to purchase a car. Definitely lost a sale today.

It is what it says. auto sales. nothing fancy, dont expect big open waiting areas with coffee available and plenty of chairs. but their prices are resonable and and fair. plenty of good cars to choose from. Expect to be there for hours

Had such a good experience we repeated it for my son the following July (2016 Kia Soul). Their cars come with a warranty and lots are still under manufacturer warranty. They wanted $12,500 for a 2014 or 2015 Nissan Sentra.... I walked out paying $14,500 for a brand new 2017 with only 23 miles on it. After employee pricing, and a deep discount for losing everything in the flood. Im glad I made the drive out to Clear lake Nissan... South of Santa Fe.

My brother purchased his car December 22nd and the sales person (Robert) told him that he would get his plates by January 20th. My brother is still waiting on his plates and he may not be able to drive his car soon because his paper plates are about to expire. He is a college student who may now have issues getting to campus. Keep getting the run around on why he have not received his plates. He does not know who else to contact, yet it seems his plates have been forgotten by Hertz.

Let me first say that I have bought 2 cars previously from Hertz in Katy. Before I get to Hertz Houston South, let me tell you my journey. The first time was pretty good. No real complaints. The 2nd purchase was a nightmare. I waited all day. The car came filthy. They made promises that they knew they could not keep. Gave me the run around. Promised me they would align my car and then backed out. I know why, the tires were worn and it cost me $600 for new tires and an alignment. So I thought I would give them a 3rd try. (Not sure why, but convenience) The upper management was rude because I had given them a bad review 4 month earlier on the 2nd car. The salesman offered me a good price on the car and upper management reneged on the deal. Typical car dealership games. I was done playing games.I called Hertz Houston South asked them to check a couple of cars for me. I drove an hour. Looked at 2 cars and decided to buy the 2nd one. Great car. 6000 miles less on the odometer from the one in Katy and it was still cheaper. Giovani was my salesman - he did a great job and got me out of there within 2 hours. I would recommend Hertz Houston South. Great job guys.

Recently purchased a vehicle here...never again!! These People only care about moving units and thats it, after they receive your money youre on your own if you have any problems!Run from this place!!! Let me start by saying the web inventory and actual quality of the vehicles is not accurate by no means.If you want a quality vehicle & a company that really cares RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Bought WV cc 2014Not happy .Display show after 20 day all the sign . I ask them for warranty they you have check with WV dealer. They gave me one year warranty only for transmission.

I have been car shopping for about 3 weeks before I came here. So i know about sketchy salesmen and finance managers. *cough* South loop hyundai *cough* However that was not the case when I came here. I was not pressured and rushed to make a decision. Everyone in the office seem very knowledgeable and very detailed when walking me through the process. My salesman (Robert) went over and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and no hidden fees. I was shocked to see how caring he was. Car maintenance seemed up to date. No issues there. I was a bit nosy and started listening in on other conversations in the office and let me tell you. These people are as good as it gets!!!p.s. that finance manger can work magic. I dont have the best credit (under 650) but she gave me a reputable bank with a low interest rate.

Brook Hall from Hertz Car Sales, Gulf Frwy location, apologized for our atrocious experience at their Katy location and worked, over the next day, to try to locate another car for us. Although I had no plans to ever do business with Hertz Car sales again & was quite hesitant, Brook was persistant, professional and diligently worked, along with his management staff, to find my son a car just like the original Sonic we had begun our search for at the Katy Frwy location. The difference between the people we dealt with at the Katy location and those at the Gulf Freeway location were like night and day. Brook & his team at the Gulf Frwy location treated us with consideration and respect, accepted the responsibility of mistakes made (not by them, but by Hertz Car Sales, Katy) and ultimately earned our businesss! We found the Finance & General Managers, Kevin Baker and Brian Gonzales to also be straight forward, courteous and knowledgeable. My 21 year old son, learned quite a bit about car sales through this experience. We absolutely appreciate the direct, no gimmick car buying experience we had with you. Because of your actions, my son left your store, walked to his first ever, new car and commented that he respected how you worked hard to do the right thing and said, “I’d do business with them again if I need a car.” My sentiments exactly!
