I would give this place no stars if it were possible. I wanted to write this review while I was still so upset by our experience. We have a 2014 Toyota Forerunner SR5 that we bought from them 4 years ago. I am a 70 year old grandmother who has taken excellent care of the vehicle. We have put less than 20,000 miles on the vehicle in 4 years. It is in excellent shape. I wanted a car instead of an SUV, so we checked around to get the best price. We got it from Texas Auto North-until we DIDN’T! We sent pictures, gave them everything they asked for. We took the vehicle this morning (this was a 3 hour process including drive time). We had the Forerunner detailed first and comments were made about how perfect the vehicle was. Great, right? WRONG! When it came time to write the check, they offered us thousands less than they offered us just days ago. We were return customers, but we will NEVER go back, nor would we ever recommend them to anyone. Be careful if you want to sell your car to them. Make sure you take your car in person and get the check right then because they might change the offer price originally given when you get there. I sincerely hope this review saves someone from making the same mistake we made.

First, the care salesman forgot to remove the plates from my trade in vehicle. Im a disabled veteran and had to order new plates. The car was not serviced before it was sold. The Financing Manager told my wife she didnt have to be on the loan .Which wasnt true. Also, I had to visit the dealership three times. Because the check was properly endorsed by the Financing Manager.

Problem after problem was corrected and they proved that they take Customer Service seriously. Keep in mind, they did NOT sell us this car. They provided a great example of Service After The Sale.At the end of it all, my Wife was able to drive her car away from this dealership with a smile on her face. This review is solely for a pickup that they are trying to sell for an extremely high price. Buyers beware there is a 2011 Ford ranger with 47,000 miles that they are trying to sell for $22,000. Inspect the vehicles frame as it has a ton of rust that was merely painted over. This vehicle comes from Pennsylvania where salt corrodes the frame and body of most vehicles. In Texas this vehicle is a ripoff with this defect. The rust is also noticeable in the engine compartment. I pointed this out to them after I drove 3.5 hours to go see it. I expected them to lower the price, as they should... but they have not. This is simply a warning to anyone who may be interested in purchasing the 47,000 mile white 2011 Ford Ranger 4.0L 4x4.

The Sales manager Mr. Andrew at Texas Auto not only does his job as a manager, but also goes above and beyond his job title. Before and after I closed on my vehicle, I had a few hurdles that needed to be addressed and he went out of his way to make sure they were handled. Communication is huge with me and offered his personal cell phone number to see that I can get in contact with him personally so that my needs can be taken care of. He assisted me from beginning to the end of my deal to make sure I was happy with my purchase and also took it a step further to help me with a problem that he didn’t have to help me with. I greatly appreciate him for going out of his way to make sure my one last need was met that he didn’t have to do. I greatly recommend his services and the Texas Auto Team along with Mrs. LaTonya Britt who also went above and beyond her role as the finance manger. A good experience from beginning to end with Mr. David Melendez.I have been looking for an all around family vehicle for the last couple of weeks. Ive been shopping with no big rush to purchase anything going in and out of dealerships around the Houston area. One thing I hate about car shopping is how pushy a car sales person can be. This was not the case here with Mr. David Melendez. David was not only helpful but respectful. I spent a couple days in and out of this dealership and finally decided to purchase here not only for the vehicle I found but for the customer service. Many other same model SUVs I test drove were in comparison to the one I purchased but was not no comparison was the customer service I was given here. If youre looking for a new vehicle come here and ask for David.

Bought a 2017 Ram 1500 from Jordan Hardy he answered all questions and took care of everything I needed as quickly as possible.I had originally given a 5 star but had an issue with my backup camera. They have a 3 month 3 thousand mile warranty which you need to bring the vehicle back to them to look at. They said they fixed the camera before I bought it. It worked for about a month and then it scrambled and you couldnt see from the camera. No biggie the camera has an issue, theyre only a hundred dollars, texted Jordan multiple times and sent him a picture and got no response. Happy with the truck, not happy with being ignored. I know it would be my issue since Im in Arizona and theyre in Texas, but it was an issue before I purchased so I thought they should have manned up and sent me a camera and I would have installed it.Sad to find they are just like every other car dealer after the purchase, even with a problem they knew ahead of time.

Dont come here. Initially, they seemed nice and friendly - very eager to sell us a car. Upon purchasing said car, we noticed numerous issues with the car, costing over $2k in fixes. We purchased an as is car, so that was not the issue. The issue is upon asking for the initial 98-point inspection done on the car, no one would answer their phone or email after numerous attempts. Upon physically going into the store and waiting, we were promised the report by three MANAGERS, but to no avail. Further, we spent an additional $6,000 dollars for their Platinum Protection plan which turns out cannot be used anywhere but their mechanic shop (we were told it would be accepted at FireStone, etc.). Needless to say, we canceled the completely useless warranty plan and wont be going back to Texas Auto North again. Dont waste your time or energy here - more stress than its worth.

We purchased a vehicle and on the same day a light appeared on the dashboard. We contacted the dealership and was informed to bring the vehicle back for repairs. This process was done several times and repairs were still not done correctly. We now have a vehicle that is not running that we just purchased. There has been no assistance from the general manager or the sales manager. This is not the experience we wanted our child to have for his first vehicle purchase!

We dealt with Melvin at first and he was great. Once we got there Melvin was with another customer so Brandon jumped in and took care of us. He was gray and very informative. Explained all the features of a couple different cars. We will definitely go back to him in the future and refer everyone.

He took care of every detail, described the vehicle to me, showed it to my brother, sold it to me as priced on the internet, assured me the vehicle was serviced and detailed, and promised to coordinate shipping. Clyde communicated daily until the transaction was complete. I would certainly purchase from Texas Auto North in the future.

I have resorted to this having to be the worse car buying experience I have ever went through. First off they will show you a incorrect carfax. My salesman showed me a Carfax of the same vehicle but a different Vin and stated that I have went home and print it up the false carfax. Secondly, they did not put my temporary license plates on correctly they have fallen off a week after. Thirdly, they dethreaded the holes making it impossible to apply a license plate. The secretary even admitted that day fake they’re good reviews online. I hope this review helps. Thank you for your time.

It was my first time getting a car from any dealership. the experience was great. people are nice and funny.

I very rarely leave reviews of any kind, but I’m making an exception with this business. I purchased what was described as an immaculate car from them in March. I traveled a decent distance to get there after working out the agreement for the trade. Upon arriving there was a scratch on the dash, and several dents/paint damage areas on the car. The car ran great though, and seemed otherwise clean. During the financing their finance manager tried to slip in a warranty $2,000 higher than what had been agreed to previously. Thankfully I had the text to back up the price. During the financing we were assured that everything would be “super easy” in regards to getting it registered. It turned out due to all sorts of errors on their part I had to wait to get it registered until August. I called them numerous times trying to get things handled but it still took five months. Calling this auto sales place a professional business is a bit much. All of the staff were very nice, never rude or condescending. What they turned out to be though, was underhanded lazy tricksters, not worthy of anyone’s time or business. Please don’t give them any of yours.

I am happy to share some used car buying insights. First, this was the third car I bid on. What I found was a lot of cars either not really for sale or sold but left on these websites as lost leads. Second, I was really fond of the SHAKER hood and standard transmission. Now, not so much. I am very happy to have evolved to this version of 6.4L Scatpack and love the Napa Leather suede interior. Second, I felt that the car detailing at the time of delivery could have been better. Texas Auto is like the standard for used car sales, please step up the level of detailing that goes into the car before it comes out for delivery. Even a used car can feel like a new car at the time of delivery.

Just had a great experience purchasing a gorgeous, almost new 2018 Toyota 4Runner from David at Texas Auto North...He was professional and prompt and had me in and out in no time. I purchased a vehicle without physically seeing it because I was in Kansas City , Mo area. The salesman assured me it was in excellent mechanical condition. Several people had driven it and wanted to buy it but was unable to secure financing , I needed to jump on this . They called me continually to complete purchase. I paid them by certified check and had vehicle delivered to trusted dealer and service department I use here in town. When the vehicle arrived it would not start or even jump start, there are numerous issues that will not allow it to even pass inspection so it can be tagged. I contacted North Texas Auto over a week ago and am not getting any response , calls and e-mail are not returned . They are truly mispresenting themselves online. There is no way their service department had went over this car or if so they intentionally put a vehicle on their lot that is not drivable. Also I paid them $3,000 over the book value so they were representing this as a vehicle in great condition.

The sales manager JD is amazing and the entire team treated us like royalty the whole time we were there. Such kind people that went above and beyond in every way. We should all support our friends businesses and small businesses. No matter what you’re looking for, whether it’s on the lot or not, they will find it for you and do everything they can to make it happen. They have been a true blessing and I couldn’t happier or make thankful. Buying a car and have the salesmen treat you so well and as a friend, not a person to sell, is such a good feeling! I found an awesome 2015 Silverado 2500 at Texas auto. David Melendez was my sales person. David was very professional and patient during our transaction. This was a long distance transaction as I am from North Carolina. David was clear in his communication. When I flew to Texas to pick up the truck and drive it back, david had a very nice person waiting for me at the airport in my truck so I could test drive the vehicle on the way back to the dealership. When we got to the dealership all of my paperwork was ready. I was in and out of the dealership in under 20 minutes. I would recommend David and Texas Auto to anyone.

They are not servicing these cars before they sell them. But... they charge you a service fee and tell you the cars are in good shape. LIES!!!! They avoid my calls at all costs now that they know I have a problem. They only want the money. Do business somewhere else.
