Peoples At Royal IS Very Nice They Have Everything You Needs.

Today I tried to return a product that I bought yesterday. I actually bought 3 and turned out I didnt need one. I didnt want a refund just exchange it. The Hispanic girl at the register didnt even speak when I approached but I proceeded to tell her what I was there for. She stated that they dont refund items that were on sale. So I asked where does it state that on the receipt. She then says oh Im not dealing with this.. Then screamed for the little short lady who I guess runs the store lady. I have NEVER had an issue when I go there. The men are always nice and helpful but that young lady was beyond rude she even went as far as turning her head while I was talking to her.. I didnt go there to make trouble.. I was going to spend more money just wanted to exchange something I wasnt going to use. Im not spending my money in a place where the customer isnt respected and I left.

Not over crowded and they had everything I needed

Weird atmosphere. I never left the front of the store. I bought a couple of earrings and got the heck out of there. The security guard and employees seemed to think I was up to no good, acting like they were preparing for something to go down. Yes, we have been told to stay out of certain stores; but I was curious and had lost my nose and brow jewelry🤷🏾😅

They are fully stocked. They had wigs on sale for back to school, I love me sum wigs. Prices were acceptable as well.

Always find something here. Its really big and rarely crowded. They have things for the house evening. Like you can go get you braiding hair, stuff for the kids hair, bleach and even some small home goods here. They got it. And the prices are competitive and I choose this place because its no stress.

Love this place... 99% of the time, it has just what I need

Very very rude staff and I had a terrible experience visiting this store. I went into the store to look for some nail products. I was quite fascinated by the kinds of hair products the store has tailored to African American girls. Unaware of the store prohibition with photography(which has no sign in the store whatsoever), I took a picture of a section because I think one of my African girl friends would really like it and was gonna send it to her. Without asking me what the pictures were for, the staff, who spoke with each other in Korean, became really mad at me and kicked me out of the store. They said, “no pictures, get out!”Wow... that’s all I could say! I was really caught off guard with what happened and still recovering from the emotional charge of the situation... I don’t know for what reasons they are so offended by pictures of which the intentions I explained to them for. And I deleted for them after they asked me to. But I really don’t think this is how one should treat customers. Or any human who comes across any place after all.I was really shocked by what happened. And would definitely never come back again.

Got some great fiber hair, its very human like, from here and made a Upart that I am in love with!! Hair came out real cute..ignore my Jammie lol. Prices are decent and there are a lot of options to choose from. Ill be back

Awesome customer service. Establishment was extremely clean and well-organized. There was a wide selection of hair, wigs and products. Aisles were wide enough for wheelchair and walker accessibility.

I love coming here. They always have what I need and the people and helpful and friendly. Last time I came I spent about 2.5 hours in there just trying on wigs! Also great prices and so much more stuff than just hair products

In a neighborhood where there is literally a beauty supply store on every corner, this one is a TOTAL standout!The store is HUGE and so is the selection. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is courteous and helpful. More importantly, they are NOT disrespectful with the approach to security.There is no one following you around or being suspicious. You are free to shop!

I love this place but the wig selection isnt what it used to be. For instance, if they know that customers have bought out all the wigs in a particular style and color, then order some more, dont wait until the last damn minute to order. Other than that they are nice people, they make sure to ask if you need help.

They keep a variety of products that have good customer service in the neighborhood Im a cosmetologist of 42 years I dont practice hair anymore on a professional level due to my disabilities what I dont understand is the Asians have Market products in the black community and Hispanics work for the stores that sell products to black people its amazing they know products about my hair more than I do so it makes me wonder do you study blacks thank you for the Improvement of the products but yet I go deep in thought nothing against them Asians are Hispanics but it makes me Wonder are blacks that valuable about products from me you have to be studying me yet they make a fortune working in the neighborhood rather the hood black hood that supports an Asian community that pay all their bills off of the products I buy for me from you Im not protesting that we shouldnt support you because were going to its just amazing if it was vice versa and I was blacking on the store I wouldnt get to support for my own black community just my FYI

Royal is a nice clean and organized beauty supply. The only issue is that they are going up excessively on theyre prices. I love shopping there but they need to compare to other beauty supplies stores in the area. Prime example: LIV I bought it from there a month ago for 8.99. I went there on Friday to purchase it again and the price was two dollars (2.00) more now 10.99. I went down the street and purchased it for 8.99

This has been going my go to beauty supply for years. I love the look of this new location. They always have a new and vast variety of crochet hair. They have high number of customers, so they always have what you need.

WHY WOULD ANYONE PATRONIZE A STORE THAT DOESNT OFFER RESTROOM FACILITIES. I came here once. No restroom so you don’t get my money. All of these stores are located in black communities. We spend lots of money on hair!!!!!! Hair industry is a 3 billion $ industry annually. You don’t respect us or our money enough to provide a restroom!!! I’m telling everyone I know DO NOT SPEND YOUR $ here. Wake up black people!!!!. It’s also a city code violation not to provide facilities to the public. The one on MLK told me to « go to the clinic next door their restroom is nice » I told him in not spending my $ at the clinic. Left everything I intended to purchase in the store. I know if this store was in a white community they would provide restroom facilities, You take our $ and redistribute it in YOUR COMMUNITY !!! STOP patronizing these businesses who don’t Respect us as a culture or patronage.

I can always find my hair products. Theres a nice variety of items & new items at anytime I visit.

No public restrooms. You are welcome to spend your money here BUT you are out of luck if you need to go to the RR. Need more black owned beauty supply stores.

This is a very nice beauty supply I really liked their selection of croshay hair and different textures. The staff was very knowledgable about the products in stock and spoke fluid English. The lighting in the store is very bright which is wonderful when you are trying to decide on a color. I would definately shop here again
