Exceptional service! Charles the service guy on duty was very patient. He was the only service tech there having to deal with several customers, but yet he made time to answer my many questions and always remained professional.

Came in for an oil change 3/24/21. After leaving noticed a shudder in my Truck, checked my oil level since this was not happening before the service. The oil was well above the Max fill line. I returned on 3/25/21 and informed the same mechanic that it was over filled. He was professional about it , agreed that it was over filled,and remedied the situation. I then proceeded to ask for a receipt stating that I had returned to remove excess oil as record for myself and Shop in case there was damage caused to my engine that they would be responsible for. I was told that they were unable to provide with receipt or any document that reflected that. I asked them to contact owner who basically declined to return to shop and issue receipt, and basically blew me off after leaving a note to contact me to provide. Do not ever for any reason give your money to this establishment. The owner DC is unprofessional and the place is absolutely positively a mess. This only the beginning. I gave you the opportunity to resolve this matter. Its only going to get worst for you until you do.

I called and was told to come in the next day. I came the next day and then I was told to come back Saturday@ 8am. I’m here today, Saturday, been here since 7:30am and no one is here. The business is closed. Cars have pulled in and left. It’s 9:25am and no one is still here. Horrible! PLEASE don’t waste your time here.

Came for the Groupon oil change and was offered a fluid top off for $15. Went to Jewel and popped my hood...antifreeze at the same level it was prior to me coming in. Also, they dont put a sticker on your windshield letting you know when your next oil change is due. Come on young Black Men, yall need to do better!

Ive only had the 4 wheel alignment done there. Pricing seems good. Opened up later than whats on the door. Staff was nice to everybody that came in. Seems like what you would expect from a small auto repair shop. Listening to the prices they were giving to customers, they also seem reasonably priced.

The service is horrible. They wont be in business for long. They had my car for two weeks. I got it back engine light still on, ran for 1 week and wont start now.

STAY AWAY. This place is not worth the time and stress.I bought a Groupon deal for 4 wheel allignment. When I get there, he lets me know of a torch fee for rusted bolts, which I underatand. Some cars can rust weld the bolts from the winters. But I just worked on my own car the day before and only needed the bare minimum of WD40 to get other bolts loose. So whatever, 25 dollars not bad I say. Now I assumed it was a one time charge.Heres the kicker, after hes done, his boss charges me 25 on EACH side. Who charges for each side?! Should I be charged for each bolt on my car thats touched? Not only was the allignemnt 45 but now 50 ontop for a torch fee. $95 in total. This shouldnt even be a fee.AND THE CHERRY ONTOP? My car now pulls slightly to the right and the steering wheel is off enter. What a joke.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A PROFFESIONAL

Outside of the Groupon I used their service without hesitation. They are respectful and knowledgeable, also the prices are reasonable. Lastly, timely. In and out.

I had a Groupon for full synthetic oil change, they put regular low grade oil. 2 weeks later my car was knocking so loud so took it to dealership they discovered that they didn’t use synthetic and it seemed that they used used to do my oil change.....stay away !!!!!!

Used the service through Groupon for a wheel alignment. However, the staff was rude and unprofessional when I first came they told me it takes a hour to be done but somehow my car was done In under 30 minutes now my car is all messed up just going to the right on it’s own. I’ve been calling so they can redo it they keep giving me the run around. I went first thing in the morning they weren’t even open but I had someone call they lied and said they were open with a line of cars waiting.I call again they want to play games and argue on the phone. I will never give them my business ever again and most certainly won’t be sending anyone to them. Sad but very true this is why WE AS BLACKS DON’T SUPPORT OUR OWN PEOPLE THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY DO BUSINESS.

Customer service was HORRIBLE!! The guys especially the so called manager DeAngelo seemed to be incompetent, illiterate, high or just probably couldnt read. The mechanic who did the work on my car had more professionalism in his pinky than all 4 of the guys working there together. This AAG wont get mine or my familys money or business ever again!! If I could report them to the BBB I would, as a matter of fact Ill definitely be looking into doing just that and the shadyness of this particular AAG on 183rd off of Kedzie. I was given a price in writing of what the work would cost, but once it was completed DeAngelo then goes on to tell me he now has to add tax on top of the price he already gave me which already was the full price in its entirety. If I wouldve read the reviews on this place I wouldve never went there. I believe the extra money that they charge customers actually go in their pockets. I also believe they write or pay people for the good reviews on here, because there is NO WAY IN H#@!! Anybody after visiting this place can say anything good about it.

Highly disappointed, especially as a community member wanting to support locally owned black businesses. No one answers the phone after I call 3 times. When I did finally reach someone, the guy tells me to come in before 5pm which I did.I show up..NO ONE IS THERE but the door to the lobby is open and a TV is on ? I see no mechanics working in the bays and nobody is at the front desk. Place is a deserted. I wait until 5:30 then leaveI show up at 9am the next day, same thing! Open door but not a soul in the establishment. No one is answering the phone.I hate to give black businesses negative reviews but this place deserve it. Judging by the other reviews I see I’m not the only individual with a negative experience. Won’t be going back here again.

I took my 2005 Honda Pilot EX for a replacement of the alternator, by the time I called to check if my vehicle was ready they told me I am having a bad radiator leak. They punctured my radiator while replacing the alternator and they lied about itThe hole they created in my radiator didn’t allow it to hold much antifreeze, it runs out as soon as you pour it in. They have a big Rottweiler handy to unleash should a customer complainedYou have to be careful taking your vehicle to these guys because they don’t know much of anything

8 hours and 95 dollars wasted; plus random and made up fees of $50 and more. These fees are used to keep your car hostage. Not only did they steal all my money now my car drives worse than before wasted money, time, and left with a worse car than I went in with.

FOR THOSE OF YOU PLANNING TO BUY THIS IN GROUPON: DONT!! You will just be frustrated and will regret you ever went to this establishment for a wheel alignment. First off, the staff is very late. I came here an hour before they were suppose to open. The staff came in and opened shop at 20 past 8. When I went to him, he said he can take me in, in 5-10 minutes and to park in one of the bays. Took in my car and this is where the frustration begins. My car sat on the alignment bay for more than 2 hours BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY BEGAN WORKING ON IT! There were no other customers before me, there was no line. In fact, there were only 2 customers, myself and a lady who was getting an oil change. The office manager finally came up to me and says there is a torch charge for $20. I paid right away, hoping that they would finish the alignment quickly. No such luck! The office manager says the computer for the alignment keeps on rebooting. Dont even know if that is true because all the while that my car sat on the alignment bay, they were just talking and talking. No one would give you an update if you will not ask. Total lack of professionalism on the part of the staff. The work area is VERY DIRTY and so is the waiting area. For the $36 I paid in groupon for this alignment, I should have left and cut my loss when they did not open on time. The whole shop is devoid of professional appearance and it looks very shady. Every now and then, there were people coming in WHO WERE NOT CUSTOMERS. They were personal friends of the staff. There was even a guy who came in and was selling laundry detergent and cleaning stuff from the back of his van. This is the first and last wheel alignment I will buy in groupon. You get what you pay for. I will go to a reputable shop next time if I need an alignment. BUT FOR YOU FOLKS PLANNING TO BUY A WHEEL ALIGNMENT IN GROUPON, AVOID THIS SHOP LIKE A PLAGUE!! READ THE REVIEWS IN GOOGLE IF YOU STILL HAVE DOUBTS.

Made the appointment day before for 11 am, arrived on time and was told couldnt get to me until 3pm. I left my number asked for call when done, never called. when I called to ask if it was finished I was told they dont give information over the phone come to the service desk, click. They closed at 6pm I called at 5:55 arrived to get my car they were still there at 6:05 thank God. They didnt give me any paperwork on the work that was performed. Lost a days pay as a result wasnt worth the Groupon savings and disregard for my time.

Check their F rating on the BBB. I got my car towed there in mid June. Didnt hear back from them for 2 weeks with an estimate, so I called them. They told me it needed a new transmission. When I asked how much they couldnt give me an estimate and said theyd call me back. I never heard back from them so decided to junk the car in mid July. They tried charging me for $1,100 in storage fees. Then tried to just get me to sign the car over to them if I couldnt pay. They tried blaming me for not continually calling them. Im filing a complaint with the BBB.

HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! I originally came here because it seemed to be Black owned and I definitely support that. But upon entering and seeing my fellow brothers in du rags and sweat pants instead of proper attire for a place like this was my first turn off. The window was then closed in my face while I was in the middle of speaking about a prior concern of mine.Not to mention they have completely blacked the windows so you can’t see ANYTHING what so ever being done to your car. While I understand that mechanics don’t like to be bothered, this poses an issue as to what’s going on behind the scene that you don’t want to be seen. BEWARE: I purchased a groupon for a wheel alignment. When I got to the place the mechanic marks my groupon as used... After 2 hours he tells me he didnt have the tool to fix my car... I called them the next day and of course they gave me the run around. Im not stupid... After reading the reviews, observing the workers and other customers, I figured this was not a legitimate business... Its a front to wash their drug money... Thats why its only one mechanic working on the premises and they can care less about these bad reviews... Youve been warned

If I could give the company no stars I absolutely would. Very poor customer service. We all know and understand that Covid 19 has affected many companies store hours and operations. As a company I think it’s a common courtesy to update your store hours and services. If you have limited services and store hours due to not having Adequate staff STATE THAT!!!! DO NOT ASSUME CUSTOMERS KNOW THAT WE DO NOT WORK THERE!!! At very least put a sign on your door so customers such as myself aren’t waiting 2 hours to receive service that you all aren’t even equipped to give!!! And then for me to call and be given the run around is absurd!! Had a mix up where I couldn’t get an oil change at one location and I used a coupon that was redeemed there already and I didn’t receive the service. I came back 2 days later to get an oil change and instead of them saying your coupon was redeemed already, the young lady still took my coupon that was previously redeemed but knew I wasn’t making up a story and I was able to get my oil Change. It was done in a timely manner and would recommend anyone to come here. Staff was friendly, polite and very courteous. Thank you all for your service and from someone coming from outta town I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I came to get my front brakes and rotors replaced and was met with friendly staff, a clean facility, and fresh coffee brewing for the customers. This was my first time at their location, but the others were repeat customers (excellent sign!)The owner was compassionate and worked with my budget. I truly believe he understands that the customer comes first, and for that i am grateful!Service was quick and efficient!!!!I HIGHLY recommend them!

The guy opened the store late, (drives a blue car, tinted windows, Indiana plates BAD....) he stated the wheel alignments wont start until 12p. So I parked in lane 4 and left the keys with him to keep my place. He said comeback at 130p. After 4.5 hours I called and no answer. So I went up there and saw my truck still sitting in the same lane. I went to the door and everything is locked. No one there. So I went home got the spare key and went back to get the truck. Called several more times and finally someone answered. I explained I need my key back today and he apologized for the inconvenience and said someone will be there to give me my keys. I called 20 min later and he said the guy left the key in the back seat..... I check and there it was.So they processed my groupon without doing the wheel alignment. They opened then closed without calling me to pick up my truck. And finally, they put the key in the truck [still open]. Could of been stolen.Never again

Typically the service is great but today was by far the worst experience with AAF. So much so that I refuse to return as a ciustomer. I always purcase a Groupon oil change. I called to request an appointment for an oil change. I informed the CSR that I had a Chevy Camaro. During the oil chamge the tech informed me that the Groupon only covered 5qts of oil and my vehicle needed 6-7 and they charge $10.00 per quart! Ridiculous. The tech was rude and nprofessional and told me Are you going to get it or not becuase I have another oil change The owner was no better when I informed him about exchange. He stated that the girls who answer the phone dont have knowledge abut the vehicles and they can only determine how much oil a car needs when the vehicle is serviced. I could have simply went to Chevy and will do so from this point on.

My wife needed a alternator for her truck, we called around a bunch of places to get quotes. When we called AAG a guy by the name of DC picked up and seemed very professional, therefore we decided to let his business do the repairs on the vehicle. However this place is very unprofessional. They’re never open during their business hours, don’t answer any phone calls, don’t return phone calls. They had the vehicle over three weeks, never called and said the vehicle is now repaired. My wife just did a walk in and they were finally in the shop. One of the mechanics told her that the vehicle was ready, went outside and started the vehicle. She paid them and was driving the vehicle only for it too shut off. After arguing with them she got the car towed to the dealership to see what repairs they have done. The dealership called and said they just replaced the belts, they never replaced the alternator. She went back to AAG with the information that she received. AAG then admitted that they didn’t fix the alternator but she couldn’t get a refund because of labor. What labor? They didn’t fix anything, just a waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend anyone too get their oil changed at this place.This place is located 3349 183rd St Homewood IL

Besides the rude lady at the window, all other employees were professional and pleasant. They serviced my car in less than 30 minutes and the price was great! I bought a Groupon for $29 and used it hassle free.

WORST PLACE EVER TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dropped my car off last week Monday everything was cool the guy that answered the phone assured me that it would be a 2 day job for a radiator and oil change. I called that Wednesday they told me it would be ready Saturday before they closed got up there and they told me it would be ready Tuesday. I happened to ride past the shop Monday and my car was still outside with snow on it so I stopped in 2 see what the issue was and they gave an excuse saying that one of the mechanics was in the hospital and that the car would be done. I went up there yesterday and they said they was waiting on parts to be delivered and that I should come today at 12pm. I went up there today and it was the same excuse so I had asked if I could go and pick up the part and they told me No I couldn’t because it was under their account. I called the part store to see if I could get the part and they stated that they was told by corporate not to deliver to them because there was an altercation between the part store delivery driver and one of AAG’s employees. Upon learning this I called the number that’s listed and the guy which I’m assuming was the owner got mad at me for one because I called the number to check on my car and also because I found out about the incident between the part store and themselves. I went to the part store that they use and found out they were charging me $95 over what the actual part cost which was $105 plus whatever labor would cost. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!! I have never been to a auto repair shop where they want you to pay in advance to get work done. They don’t call you to tell you about any delays and you have to physically go into the shop to find out if your car is ready and even then they don’t tell you anything when it’s not ready. I am going to report them to the BBB and I have contacted Groupon to let them know about the incompetence of the AAG. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy get there car fixed there. I wouldn’t be surprised if the “great” reviews on here wasn’t from them. If you need your car fixed or a tire change or anything I would STRONGLY STRONGLY suggest you go someplace else. They told me to come back at 5:30 today to get my car if it’s not ready I am going to call a tow truck and go someplace else. The only reason I didn’t was because my car was already taken apart but at this point I will take it someplace else together or not!!!!!

Bought a Groupon for rotors and pads and when I called he said I had to bring my Jeep in for the total price. When I got there he flat out told me it was $100 up charge for SUVs which he could’ve have told me on the phone. Also to mention, it wasn’t noted in the fine print it would be that much of an up charge. Usually it’s no more than $50 but when he flat out said $100....I can tell they were just taken advantage of people. Plus two location listed on the groupon deal are closed. I wonder why!

They had my car for 14 days only for me to pick it up after calling the police on three separate occasions and it still didn’t start.. they are so unprofessional they put parts on my car without notifying me with an assumption that I was going to pay for them.. This is the most unprofessional service station that I have ever patronized. I bought two Groupons and I am now a true believer in the saying “you get what you pay for”. I waited almost three hours fir an oil change and wheel alignment but was told I needed to return the next day to get the wheel alignment ( even though they mark both of my Groupons as redeemed). They do not issue receipts for your oil change and when I demanded one; I had to dictate what should be written. If all of this isn’t bad enough, I drove away and a light in my dashboard appears that indicates I have too much oil so now I need to drain the excess oil somehow. Unfortunately, it is late and there aren’t any service stations open!!!! Please spend the extra money, do not ever visit this location.

Charged an inspection fee first even though they have a sign up stating payments can be collected after work is done.Then the car issue disappeared when the mechanic walked to the vehicle. Went for a simple oil change with a groupon then the owner upcharged me $10 saying he added an oil treatment that he never asked me if I wanted. I dont even know if he really did add it. What I do know is that I wont wait the full 3000 miles or 3 months before my next oil change and I wont ever be back at this sad business....

This was the worst experience ever... very unprofessional, they don’t make or return phone calls to you or your warranty company, and they flip off at the mouth at you as if you’re somebody that they know personally. They claim they’re replacing parts, and after taking my vehicle for another diagnostic found out that they hadn’t replaced things. Management is never available, and employees make up all kinds of excuses. DONT GO HERE

Please do not go to this shop. I brought a groupon for a wheel alignment, and according to the owner the offer was only for “standardize cars” for which he means compact size. It doesnt say anywhere in the fine print that offer is only for a certain size car. I was up charged $50 for a 4-wheel alignment. No other company charges $95 dollars for a wheel alignment. I was ripped off and I will never visit the shop ever again. There was a gentleman who came with the same Groupon and was not up-charged and he had a car bigger than mine. I will not bring my car to a shop that clearly practices sexist behavior . Then on top of this a had to wait 3 hours to be serviced. The unprofessional-ism was through the roof, no one answers the phone but the owner and the women up front have no experience in the automotive industry.

I went for an oil change and they redeemed my Groupon before services. They tried to scam me. They stripped my drain plug and tried to charge me for an oil pan. I decided at that point I no longer wanted the services. I called the phone number online about a refund and the guy was extremely rude. He was very condescending and wouldn’t listen to me and I felt he was being sexist.

Theres a reason no one gives a thumbs up on a positive review.

GRACIOUS FAMILY OWNED REPAIR BUSINESS THATS EFFICIENT AND WORKS QUICKLY. PLUS, THEY ALWAYS RUN GROUPON SPECIALS FOR OIL CHANGES AND WHEEL ALIGNMENTS.

Please please run dont walk away from this place. The customer service is just as bad as the service itself. I came in for an oil change and all I got was nooil change and no new filter ( u must bring your own filter ). And I was charged for the oil change. I had to call Homewood police to make out a police report.

I took my car in for a radiator on a Monday to the Homewood store, very unprofessional, rude and inconsiderable. They had my car two weeks anx when i got my car back drove it a half block it started leaking antifreeze. J can back and DeAngelo to me we are close. I dont know how much they know how much they paid you guys to say they are excellent. Please stop lying about this business they are scammers

My issue was I wait for five hours there for my alignment they give me my car back an I drove my car ,it was the worst alignment they did to my car still needs the alignment now I need to take my car to the professional mechanic this is unprofessional, on top of that I wasted five hours of my time in this mechanic shop I wont wasted my money here any more.UNPROFESSIONAL MACHANICS

Tried to get me to pay an extra $10 after I bought a Group On, for a standard size car. Then one month after my oil change the oil light comes on. They shorted me on the oil because I wouldnt pay the extra $10 that wasnt advertised. There Bad, and the number they advertise never gets answered. The brothers are terrible!!

If i could give this place a negative star I would. My wallet was stolen from my vehicle within 20 mins of dropping it off for a wheel alignment with them. I spoke with manager/owner and was told i shouldve taken out all personal items and valuables. Total lost of 2,000

Called 30 minutes after opening to inquire about a wheel alignment and was told to come asap theres no appointments just first come first serve and to buy the Groupon. I get there after a 45 minute drive only after buying the Groupon only to be told the wheel alignment machine is down and there was no eta on when itd would be fixed. Now I understand that things happen but a call would have been nice, especially since I needed the wheel alignment very badly after getting tie rod ends inner and outer replaced on both sides. The owner just acted as if it wasnt her problem so I refunded the Groupon and went to Lynnwood auto 20 minutes away, took my car pretty quickly and got my car right!

These individuals are scamming many people especially young ladies and with groupon. The environment is hostile and conniving. I had to call the police to get my keys after paying additional fraudulent costs. I pray God protects all those who cross paths with this business abusing and hurting our people.

Speedy service

The shop that I take my car to regularly informed me of the codes they were getting and said I needed to have my transmission checked. So I came here since they claim to specialize in Transmissions and told them what my regular mechanic said. I was told it’s $50 dollars to inspect it I was ok with that. What I wasn’t ok with was the fact that they came back and told me about the codes I already told them about and if I wanted to them to inspect further I’d have to pay more. Excuse me? What inspection did you do? NEVER AGAIN

They did my wheel alignment wrong its been over a month. Ive left my phone number Ive been up there 2 to 3 times they never get back with me horrible service

Crooks. Tell you a time and pricing then change it twice. Got charged $65 for a $30 oil change. They didn’t honor Groupon price.

Nice place I was confused when I got a oil change and my oil light stayed on the kept telling me yeah did oil change I said no went on Google to find out how to turn off oil change light and it work they had no clue how to do but Google fix the problem with there help

They provided horrible service and kept my vehicle for a whole month for my brakes and also after the fact one of the locations were shut down the owner made me come on blank trips thinking my car was completed and it wasnt!!! Dont use there services!!!

Wasnt going to review but I am at a different tire shop receiving service for a broken Axle because they didnt replace everything on my after a brake/rotor service at AAG. Costing me more money than I could imagine. Never again
