I brought my daughter in to buy a phone and few other items. Immediately, youre greeted at the door. Youre told what your wait looks like. When the gentleman came to get our order I had added items and had many questions. At no point was he annoyed or in a rush to move on to the next customer. I would rather buy my items from here than the phone companies themselves. I was very satisfied.

What an amazing experience after having such an unfortunate one at a similar facility that shall remain nameless. Such friendly, empathetic people who really just want you to leave happy. We all know that sinking feeling in your stomach when you go to use a very expensive device, only for it to not turn on or not function well. Everyone in this Apple store was ready to help and they couldn’t have been more efficient. Thank you so much!!!

I went in on a holiday (Memorial day) and got outstanding service from Ryan and the whole store. My sons iPhone 8 battery was dying, it would not hold a charge anymore so we made an appointment for Monday. But, it was a rainy weekend and I love to try to fix things so I got a new battery from Amazon and installed it myself. Well, the phone would not start up (boot loop) after and so I followed up with the appointment. Ryan helped me and he could not have done a better job. I told him the full truth about trying to do it myself which he appreciated and then he jumped through hoops to get it to pass the basic go/no-go tests that allow them to proceed with any repair. Finally he got far enough that he proceeded to attempt to replace the battery. Within 30 minutes, he called me back to say all was working and it was just a defective new battery. I joked that my son was praying for him to fail so he would get a new iPhone 12. The best part was that Ryan (with his managers permission) did the repair for free! He said because of my honesty and efforts he really wanted to do that. He of course refused any tip! You dont see enough of that kind of customer service these days. Cheers Ryan!!

This place is heavily staffed and walk-in customers are not welcomed. For those luck people to get appointments, staff are all sweetness and light until theres a problem, then they call out Apple policy which is rarely in the customers favor!I didnt enjoy the experience. Imagine that!

I called about a simple battery replacement for my iphone7First, my call was answered by an apple call center which had to transfer my callto the local Apple store.Second, When I spoke to the associate at the store , I was told I would have to bring the phone in for evaluation before he could even tell me if there was a batteryin stock, even though I could easily have given him all the info over the phone.This is the same tactic the auto dealers use to get you in the door to sell more stuff. No thanks Apple, Ill replace thebattery myself. Very disappointed !

My iphone 11 touchscreen had been acting weird so I brought my phone in to be fixed. I was just barely out of the 1 year warranty so I was expecting to have to pay for the screen to be replaced. After they fixed my screen, my face ID was still unresponsive so they ended up giving me a brand new phone with no charge!! Could not have asked for anything better. Shout out to Tim and another guy (so sorry I cant remember his name) for helping me out!(If you have to bring your phone in for it to be fixed, i HIGHLY recommend backing your phone up first in case something like this happens)

I went there to ask for leather case replacement (I have a leather 12 Pro max case that all edges turned black), and I was disrespectfully told that they could schedule an appointment with tech to check the case, but then the guy said: for saving your time, the faded color issue is not covered under the one year warranty. He showed us his phone case, which the same as our case, and he said, mine has the same issue. I looked at him and went out since I did not want to waste my time with this type of employee or maybe a supervisor.Why would I care about his case? Why is the color fading issue not covered? What other defect can happen to the case that it can be covered? Will an apple cardholder disrespectfully treated like this? Why apple sell the case if they know, that is a known issue and they charge $60 for it????I will report the issue to BBB, and I will report the issue to the apple escalation team, and I will not let this bad experience go just like that. I will also leave a bad review for that case on amazon.Well done, Apple store !!

Apple makes it difficult to get help. My Iphone 12 got brand new. NEVER DROPPED and NEVER BEEN WET randomly died on me a month into owning it. It will not power on even after letting it be on the charger.When I went to the Holyoke location because I didnt have an appointment couldnt help me just telling me they could have me come in for an appointment 5 days from that point. So Ive been stuck without a phone and locked out of apple account. Unable to reschedule my appointment. So being unable to reschedule from my laptop Ill have to drive 40 minutes back to the apple store so they can schedule from there I guess. My closest phone access otherwise at the moment is an hour away so I guess it could be worse. Why didnt I stay with android

Honestly, the service is really poor. You can set an appointment for a time, sit for 50 minutes without anyone helping you, yet countless employees pass by you doing nothing and others stand around. I never complain, and I even have had enough time not being serviced after being checked in to get annoyed enough to go and be one of these people that writes these reviews complaining, thats how bad they are. Just go to another store if you can but its hard because they are very spaced out. Two people walked in and got served before me by Mac technicians, this is just silly.

My wife had issues with her new phone. Long story short, we worked with Andy (tech) and Dan (manager). They were great in having an open conversation that wasn’t defensive or aggressive, but rather understanding and accommodating. They took the time to explain all our options and ultimately we left with a better outcome then we had hoped for. Thank you for all the help!

The iPhone is NOT IP68 rated as stated in the documentation and advertisements. They will not guarantee the water resistance of any Apple phone even if it is one day old. I had an event where the phone was subjected to a splash of water and some got inside the phone. This should not have happened on a truly IP68 rated device as the IP68 rating is for over 1m of direct submersion. The seals failed in the phone though so water did get inside the phone. Apple will not stand behind their products and their ratings. Buyer beware.Do not believe the false advertising. Go to honest companies.

Poor customer service. My temperature was not even checked like they claim they will and will not change my screen saver even though when I saw the woman ahead of me own being changed. When I asked, they told me the manager approved for her but when I ask to talk to the manager in regards to something else, they told me managers are not allowed to come off their office

For my birthday I went and bought the Apple Watch five,so we went to the Apple store to hook it up with my iPhone 5s.i thought that you didn’t need a phone to get a Apple Watch and it didn’t matter what iPhone you got.so the lady that worked with us said you need the Apple Watch series 3,so we came back another day and bought the series 3.another employee helped us and we bought it and we went to hook it up.then they said you needed the iPhone 6 or up even though the other employee said otherwise.so I had to go and buy a whole new phone just to wait for my next birthday to get a Apple Watch.the employee simply just made a mistake and it was all fine.other then that Apple is very good and definitely recommend!!

This is the worst phone service ever!!! On hold the for the first time for ( minutes. Then a disconnect. Second call....I get India!! NOT what I asked for!!! Obviously if Im calling Holyoke store for an appt. Third call goes to a woman in Georgia. So I guess by the scale they show on the web site that the store isnt all that busy....NO ONE can pick the phone up. But the lasy I talked to from Georgia was nice!!

I called an hour ahead of time to inquire about a new purchase for the apple watch 6. I was told by an employee in the store that I could come buy one in-store if I knew exactly what I wanted. So that’s what I did, I drove 40min out of my way only to go to the apple store. I got to the store and got in line where a security guard approached me and asked what I was getting. I told him the apple watch 6 and I was told they weren’t doing in-store watch purchases at the moment. This resulted in a waste of gas money, my time with my family on christmas eve (was late to dinner to do this), and having to give a christmas gift that I wasn’t as proud of. This was EXTREMELY disappointing. Horrible service, it shouldn’t be this difficult to give them MY money.

Great customer service! They got a system in place for COVID temperature screening and they wipe down surfaces to keep things clean. Plenty of employees to help you out. The gentleman that helped me at the Genius Bar appointment was very friendly. I was helping an elderly lady get her MacBook Pro fixed and they were able to take it out back, re-seat the cable and boom, done! No fees or warranty or anything crazy. Very, very helpful and the appointment was definitely worth it! YMMV. Will come back here again with future issues!

We were told by email to get there ten to fifteen minutes early. When we got there we had to go get our temperature check. Which seemed strange cause they were the only store in the mall doing this, that I know of. Then we had to go check in. When we checked in the lady told us we were ten minutes early and they normally dont check you in that early. I asked her then why did the email you end us tell us to get here ten minutes early. She said she would check is in but that ten minute wait will seem like forever.Then we had to wait to get brought into the store. A employee came out stood in front of us and asked another employee were a Steve with a red shirt was. This as she is standing in front of me looking right at me. Finally after asking several people she got us.We finally got into the store. We got assigned to a technician. She was great. She actually made it worth it. She went over all our options and let us make the decision. She wasnt pushing anything on us at all. She was honest and up front on everything. She went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed. Cause of her I would go back and wait in those lines again if I had to. Keep up the good job.

Horrible. Bought a MacBook Air and the salesman sold me two Thunderbolt Cables for 78 dollars that I didnt need (that was confirmed when I called Apple Support), and didnt sell me what I really needed, which was a USB connector. I emailed 4 times, and they failed to respond. If youre buying a Mac in our area, find somewhere else or do it online. Update: After two months, they finally took the charge off of my card. They said that they would email me a mailer so that I could return the cords, but they couldnt handle that, either, so I never got it. This is way too much work.

This has nothing to do with Chris at all. I just want to share my frustration waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes even though I made an appointment in advance. I checked in at 6:45 for a 7 pm appointment. I asked an associate at approximately 7pm if they were on schedule and he said they were. 7:10 pm, my name hasn’t called yet, so I approached another associate. She said they were running behind schedule. At about 7:15ish, Dan approached me and probably could tell that the word disappointed written all over my face. He was very helpful and immediately took some information to made it easier to transition from him to Chris. Chris was very helpful and professional. Both Dan and Chris were actually. The bottom line here, is that customers like me make an appointment in advance to make sure we don’t wait in line. To add insult to the injury, I saw at least 3-4 associates just standing and chatting with each other. Maybe I just don’t understand how your store run your business. But let me tell you that it didn’t look good at all.

Had an iffy experience my first visit when I tried to get my broken phone serviced but when I went back again and talked to their manager( I cannot remember his name) he was awesome and fixed our problem and got me a new phone that day, the technician who helped finish our purchase was very nice and a good employee also I believe his name was Tom. Drove 45 minutes to pick up my order that was supposedly ready and showed as processed and in stock on their website. Upon arrival was told that the product was “in the back and just came in and hasn’t been processed yet, and will be another hour or two”. I wouldn’t have driven 45 minutes one way for nothing. Most of the Apple store associates make it a point to welcome you into their store - any sort of acknowledgement makes for a positive shopping experience. We had a prepaid web order & expected a quick stop, but it was lunch-time on a Friday and the store was busy, naturally. Unfortunately we were assigned that one grumpy associate who seemed irritated that we had a large order (monetarily, not size) so he sloth-walked the order, taking 15 minutes to place 4 items in a small shopping bag - We see you, Hi hater! Other than that, it was fun to follow the sheep buying into all that Apple hype!😏

If you are going there for technical support, some advice:1. Call first and make an appointment2. When you arrive to your appointment, attach yourself to one of the techs, even if they are helping someone else. Follow them closely until they check you in3. Conversely, you could walk in and look interested in purchasing the Apple Watch or a Mac Book - I watched as two other customers interested in purchasing these were given immediate assistance. Then when a service person comes over, youve got them - they have to check you in and find someone to help you.Once you do get a service person, the service will be great. I have to admit the person who finally took pity on me and helped me was awesome. Just the check-in and not knowing when you’re going to be noticed really sucks.

Walked in to get a diagnosis of my phone and was told that the wait time was an hour and twenty minutes, but I ended up waiting for 3 hours to finally meet a technician. That is fine. Things happen.However, a week later when I came to the store to pick up my replacement phone, I was told that I did not need to wait at all. However, after I checked in, I sat at the Genius Bar for over an hour but everyone ignored me. Customers who came after me came and left, so I believed that I was totally forgotten. 15 minutes after asking a worker to check what was going on, a worker finally brought my phone out for me and it only took like a couple minutes to get what I came here for done. But all my time was wasted on the boring waiting 😔 They did not seem to respect the fact that my time is valuable too! It would have been nicer if they asked me to walk around the mall and come back in an hour and a half instead of letting me sitting at the Genius Bar for an hour and a half, if they were indeed that busy. But the bigger problem is that they promised me that I didnt need to wait to pick up my phone. So disappointed 😔
