So helpful! I just moved to Holland and didn’t know where to take my car. I needed both front wheel bearings replaced. They where really honest and affordable. They had great service! Got my car in within 24 hours on a Friday, ordered the parts, and had the car ready for pickup on Monday. Highly recommend!

When passing through Holland pulling a RV Camper, Westside Service performed an adjustment on my trailer hitch. Steve could see I could not wait around, so he had the job done immediately. This is amazing integrity and public service to a person who will never be in Holland again. The managers of Westside are Top Notch. Then when I asked what money I owed the answer was zero. How refreshing to receive that kind of service.

They are a professional company that doesnt lie or try to cheat there customers. They give the customer the option to choose there repairs on a need to know basis as in what needs to be fix or what can wait to be fixed .

Westside got me in the next morning, diagnosed the issue, and it was only the alternator that was the problem. They fixed the issue and got my vehicle back the same day! Well I went there because of what friends and some family had told me sounded good to me I read reviews didnt seem to be many unsatisfied client but what seemed like a disgruntled man but when I had my car looked at and they told me what was wrong listed it on paper and so when I went in to have work done they said okay do you want us to do all the suggested things to I said might as well get it all done at one so what was supposed to take 2+3for my water pump change turned into 2 weeks or more and they also decided they couldnt do my wstarter and water pump until I had some suspension issues fixed because of liabilities issues so I was like go ahead sure enough they didnt do it all when I asked why the outer swaybars werent done as listed they said they talk to El patron so 3 days turned into half a month I asked for a loaner car they said they only have one I guess my over 2000 dollars wasnt good enough ,so I get car back and 2 things I asked and they listed on list didnt get done ,3 days later my car is blowing cold air instead of warm and my water pump was leaking so I took it in found out it was their fault once again I got put on back burner and when they finally got it done again later than said they called me @517 pm and say cars done I said ok Im gunna try and find a ride as Im walking that way could u leave key got there at 529 nobody in sight I figured they left keys in box nope I figured in car nope so my car sat all weekend long and I couldnt use it cause they couldnt do that for me on top of twice having to take my car back after they repaired it within a week then I get this flyer the other day online asking to service my vehicle I said wow! These people

Quick service, quality work at a reasonable price

Westside did an outstanding job repairing my Jeep that started leaking on the way to Michigan. None of the shops in Holland were willing to look at it (nor a 400mi radius) or evening considering fixing it! They finished it much faster than expected and restored my confidence in the rest of my trip. Truly amazing shop and staff.

Had them inspect noise in front drivers side breaking system. They couldnt find the problem. Picked up car, drove a few blocks, noise came back. Returned and had them look at truck again and pointed out the noise. They looked at it again and found wheel weight caught up between dust shield & caliper. New tires were put on by Bell Tire a few days prior and somehow a newly installed wheel weight fell into the brake area???

I went to Westside because the regular shop I go do was booked out for weeks. I was hesitant to go elsewhere, but a trusted friend of mine recommended Westside.Westside took a converted amount of time to diagnose the problem and ensure the fix was going to genuinely fix the vehicle. I would recommend Westside Service to anyone who is in need of their vehicle being repaired. I called Westside and they were able to look at my truck that same day, and was very informative and up front on what needed to be done along with how much it would cost me. They told me I needed my muffler replaced, and also the oxygen sensor was not working properly. They did mention what should be done in the near future, however they were not pushy about getting it done immediately, which was greatly appreciated. They fixed everything within a day and my truck is now running smoother than ever. Thank you Westside for all of your help!

Worst experience with a transmission shop! Do NOT bring your vehicle here. I brought my perfectly good working truck to them for just a minor leak and cable adjustment. Got a call the next day from them saying they test drove my truck and the throttle stuck on them. There mechanic got it back to the shop did some adjustments and tried taking it for another test drive then advised me my truck would no longer shift out of first gear. Then began to tell me they would have to charge me $3,000 to rebuild the transmission and Install it back in the truck. They would not take any responsibility for the damage and refused to work something out! So I had my truck towed to another transmission shop. After the new transmission shop pulled my transmission apart they called me and said what ever the last shop did just made the valve body inside the transmission slam shut and that my transmission was just fine, that all I needed was a new valve body installed. Which he said would cost me $300 with the repair and installation of the transmission! They tried to take advantage of a customer who they thought didnt know anything about vehicles. Will continue to warn people to stay away from this shop and always get a second opinion!!!

Kind and quick

Honest and though evaluation of the issues and good common sense recommendation of what to fix. They gave a few options on how to repair and made a recommendation based on thier experience. Final price came in under what the estimate was. No surprises and the work was done in a timely fashion especially considering how complicated it was. It did go a little longer than planned but it was communicated that the timing was going to be a little longer. Highly recommend them.10/12/21 update:Very similar experience the second time, they verified the issues, gave a written estimate with pictures via thier shop software so I could see the issue myself. They communicated the timing and potential for one job to be either easy or very expensive. They were able to do the easy way and saved me some cash. Will absolutely be coming back.

Recently, I had to have my car towed and had to choose a place off the top of my head. I remembered my son had been to Westside so thats where I went. Im so very happy with my choice. They told me they could at least look at it same day. They kept me apprised with progress in determining the problem, without any surprise costs.9/23/20 I brought my car in 9/22 because it wasnt sounding right. It was easy to make an on line appointment. I received a phone call explaining in detail what had been checked and how, and what the problem was. I appreciated being informed and with how quickly they were able to resolve the problem.

They have always been very honest and upfront about when repairs are needed and when they can be put off for a bit. I have seven vehicles that always get serviced at Westside and I have never been disappointed in their work. I seem to have the uncanny talent of choosing lemons whenever I buy a new vehicle. The check engine light is one of those things I see lately whenever I close my eyes to try to sleep. Luckily, because of Westside Auto, that will be the only place I see it. I have brought all three of my vehicles in at different points and every time I do I am amazed by their professionalism, technical know-how, and communication. This absolutely is NOT some underhanded establishment that will do the bare minimum to get the vehicle back to you, they diagnose and repair everything that they deem unacceptable and keep you informed during the whole process. I keep setting up what I think are impossible hoops for them to jump through and they always deliver quality results time and time again. I trust Westside Auto with any problems that arise (including those from my finicky STi) and they are always the first ones I call when I encounter a problem.

I came here to have a pre-purchase inspection done to a car I was going to purchase, although they are remodeling they made it a priority to find us somewhere comfortable to sit while we were waiting. It was very fast and convenient especially because I only called about 2 hours before we arrived there! The man at the front ( I cant remember his name now) was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything going on. Very professional and honest team. They clearly explained the issue my vehicle had and told me what my options were. I went to WestSide because of the experience a relative had with them. They were honest up front and stated they would love to repair their vehicle for them but they could drive it (and recommended it) with the issue for many miles and may not need the repair. WestSide is honest about what is going on with your vehicle and what your options are. Their honesty shows integrity and care in what they do. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for transmission repairs.

I was traveling and they were able to squeeze me in on short notice. Tow truck dropped off the vehicle and they had an available bay ready to go. Alan took good care of me and the price was OK. I would rate them five stars, but the upper ball joint failure tugged on the ABS wire when they jacked up the vehicle. Now I have a new fix to accomplish now that I’m home.☹️

Steve at west side was very accommodating and understanding of the urgency of my situation, my plow truck had broke down in the middle of the January 2019 winter storm, he was able to get the truck in and fixed within 24hrs, super impressed that he was able to even get the parts needed when so many places where closed and roads shut down. He got back out and plowing to help my customers.
