I would highly recommend James street auto ! Chad is so helpful . He is such an honest mechanic. We have went to him a couple times and he does an amazing job with such a great price too !

Great experience with Chad -- as a new grad and small female who has had some not-great experiences with auto shops I seriously appreciate his willingness to explain the problem to me in great detail and his efforts to try to fix things as cheaply as possible without trying to gouge me with extra repair costs.I had new front shocks installed (~$600), and a master cylinder replaced in my clutch assembly (~$200). The master cylinder ended up being a dud after about a month, and after Greeners Auto quoted me $1800 for a totally new clutch (!!!!) he both towed my car to his shop and replaced the master cylinder at no cost. Ive driven the car over 5000 miles now (up through Canada to Alaska) and the clutch works perfectly. Obviously I didnt need a fully new clutch.You cant go wrong with a mechanic that the tow truck guy tells you is a good choice. Great guy to work with. The only thing is that as a small shop, it sometimes takes him a bit longer than usual to get to and complete a repair. But if you have the time to spare (or a bike to ride ;) ), going to James Street Auto is definitely worth the wait.

Chad is a great mechanic, who is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and fair. Every interaction with him is always a treat.
