RH is the best. They have so many obscure parts and hardware that youd be hard pressed to find anywhere. Ill gladly pay more at RH for something I could get at Lowes or HD just to keep them in business. Skip the big box stores and keep your money in town

I shop a lot at Ace Hardware for my canning iron skillets jars jars and lids often oh and keys but pretty much I could get anything there I love their stores

Great selection good prices and friendly staff. I found what I needed fast. Update, needed a replacement grill for a really old charger broil grill. Went everywhere else yesterday, no luck. Well, naturally they had one. But not just a basic wire one, which would have been fine. A really nice porcelain coated adjustable one.At a reasonable price. I have always said Ace is the place in general when you are looking for oddball stuff, but this really was great lol.And yes I had hit Lowes and home depot, and Walmart first. No luck for a grill my size....Thanks again guys!

Horrible visit! Front end staff were far from anything called customer service. I asked for help in plumbing. But first I was accosted for not wearing my mask. Which was in my hand, putting it on my face! I never received help in plumbing, left empty handed and the staff could care less. I didnt ask for a manager only because I was so angry I didnt trust my words.I used to praise that store for great service. Not anymore. Bummer, I wont go back.

Great prices and staff

Older female cashier wouldnt let me leave because the alarm went off. I even let her look through my purse to show her i had nothing. She made the manager come over and he asked if i had anything brand new which i did have a new coach wallet. The magnetic strip was in the bottom of my purse which caused the alarm to go off. The manager took the tag and let me walk out without a problem. She was very rude and embarrassed me in front of customers!!

I have a medical condition. The staff insisted I wear a mask, attempted to give me one and tried publicly shaming me into wearing one. I won’t be coming back. Staff lacks common sense and knowledge of privacy laws.You’ve lost my business forever.

I was in rock hand today and was approached by an employee with a box of masks. He said we require masks in here. I told him I have a letter from my primary VA doctor precluding me from wearing a mask for multiple medical conditions. Apparently they dont care. As a disabled veteran, it saddens me that we have come to this in our community. I will no longer be a customer of this store.

They usually have what you need. But it seems like every time you need help, you cant find it. But when you dont need help, 3-5 people want to help you. The service level is inconsistent.

Most helpful group of people in Helena. They will work hard to make sure you get what you came in for. Best customer service in town! We come in a ton for their home brew supplies and the crew will help you out with every aspect! They also have very good prices!

As always, the service was great and you usually find what youre looking for. I found a trash can for my kitchen in the style that I have been looking for for some time. Rock hand is always my place to go or send people when they are looking 4 something they havent found anywhere else

I am slightly disabled and the sales rep took the sample of what I wanted while I remained at the front of the store. He walked to the back of the store and brought a few samples for me to review. He had exactly what I wanted and saved me from doing all that walking. I, of course, made a purchase and I gave him a hug for his kindness. Super customer relations and service!!!

Rock Hand Hardware ROCKS!! I call frequently to see if they have what Im looking for (usually do) and to get prices...they are ALWAYS happy to check for my item, give prices low to high AND tell me what aisle I need when I come to the store~ one of my fav things about this store is the amazing price on birdseed...$5 for a HUGE bag!! Way better than anywhere else, including Walmart~ So if youre looking for a tool, plexiglass, solder, flower seed, etc. save driving around and call Rock Hand Hardware to see if they have it and get the price and aisle...doing that has saved me money, gas and time plus they seem to love helping!

Always helpful and almost too available. You cant walk down an aisle without someone asking if you need help.

I went the other day and purchased 3, 20 pound bags of Ice Melt. I am a younger woman who looks capable of lifting them. Without even asking the cashier called for loading assistance. The store associate loaded them in the back seat of my Jeep and when he was finished, opened my drivers door for me, shook my hand, and said Thank you for being our customer, we look forward to seeing you again soon As I looked around, amazed there was other associates doing the same for other customers. I have always tried to use Mom and Pop type stores instead of big box stores, but this was beyond my expectations. They now have a customer for life and I have already told 3 other people and will keep telling people! Rock Hand Hardware is awesome and I will no longer be going to the Orange guys down the street :)

Rock Hand is a great local hardware store, but they have discontinued their homebrew beer supply section. Thats too bad cuz there is no other supply shop in Helena, not to mention I always needed a few hardware store items when I shopped for brew supplies. One star only because they dont sell homebrew supplies.
