I love Bergen’s! They are so awesome to deal with, they answer all my questions and helped me make the best decision for me! I highly recommend Sara, she’s very particular and good at explaining things! This is the 3rd time I’ve used them, all 3 times they have been fantastic to work with!

My wife and I were driving through Montana on day 5 of a 13-day road trip when our brakes went out. We searched far and wide for auto repair shops with the time and materials needed to fix up our car. Even though Bergren’s schedule was packed for the day, they fit us in at the last minute and we were back on our way in under 3 hours. We highly recommend this auto shop for your car needs! Polite, friendly mechanics (especially Garrett) who will make you feel like a priority.

They were very prompt and extremely knowledgeable. The repair cost what they told me it would and they were able to get the part and complete the repairs quickly. We are super confident with the work done and the professionalism when they called.

Absolutely stellar service, communication, and fast. Had a clutch replaced out of state, and there were issues created from that job. Got up to Havre, and needed urgent repair to remedy the issue. Bergren got to work right away, communicating the issues found from their evaluation, and fixed my car right and at a fair price.Bill and the entire staff were professional, conversational, and friendly. They came highly recommended from several people that I asked about cat repairs in Havre.They back their work as well.Cant say enough about their 5 Star operation.You wont regret trusting them with your vehicles. I dont regret it. And seriously, I dont trust most repair shops for the obvious reasons earlier in my review.

They were able to fit me in last minute and diagnose the problem. I had my car back at the end of the day. Air was working great and they checked to make sure I had no other issues.

I would give no stars if I could. They told me I had a blown head gasket, and it could cost up to $3300 to repair. After describing the issue to a couple of my technician friends in other parts of the state, I was urged to take it somewhere else. Sure glad I did. Another shop in town fixed the problem for $110, which was cheaper than Bergrens charged me for their “diagnosis”. I think they saw a female who doesn’t know much about cars and tried to take advantage of the situation. Very disappointing.

Having a power issue with my pickup i took it in to Bergren Transmission to Rule Out or to confirm it is transmission related. Steve and Garrett (and Im sure others) spent numerous hours researching, scanning, examining and phone calls to their suppliers. The total cost was nothing compared to the hours and effort they have into this issue.(It turns out it is not a transmission issue) but the hours they put into making sure and their suggestions as to what my next step should be (diesel mechanic) were/are absolutely outstanding could not be more pleased with their customer service. Staff was pleasant. Fair pricing. We had a coolant flush. Only concern we had was when we initially inquired about the car and scheduled our drop-off we were told it would be a three hour job. We had an 8:15 appointment. Vehicle was not ready until 3:36 pm.

In June of 2019 I was driving from Whitefish MT to Northern Wisconsin. A couple hours into my trip I realized something was wrong with my truck. I walked into to Bergens at 8am, right when they opened and asked if they could take a look. By 11:30am I was back on the road with a new alternator. I made it to Wisconsin and back with no further issues.Im so thankful they made time for me and got me in with no appointment. I was skeptical about getting mechanic work done away from home but I had no choice as I was on the road. Thanks again guys for the great service! And the truck still runs great!

Was disappointed in the service today. Will not be going back. Took my car in for an alignment found out it had a bad piece. So I go buy the part as soon as they call me and take it to them. Then they tell me theyll have to charge me for 2 alignments. Since there gonna have to take it up there twice. Why didnt they stop half way through and call napa for the 13 dollar part and do that or call me and I would of grabbed it sooner. Also the guy tried to tell me no one in town carries the part cause its rare... napa said they always have them on stock cause no one asks for them. Just disappointed that I had to pay for 2 alignments. Feel like they could of done something better here.

Ive been taking my vehicle to Bergren for over 6 years now. Theyve always done me right and are very knowledgeable. When I had a problem with my VW Westfalia that Id put a subaru engine in, they were able to figure out which component had gone bad even though the engine itself was made in 1990 and there was comparatively very little information about that particular engine in any online technical publications or even on the internet in general. Subaru didnt even have all the specs for the engine in their technicians online library but the guys at Bergren Transmission were able to troubleshoot and repair the issue. Very impressed with their quality and customer service. Bergren Transmission is first class.

Slow, slow slow. Took my van there because my starter went out and the check engine code was showing a transmission problem. Thought I would get it all done at one place. Wrong! They took so long to get the starter changed and kept telling me they would get to the diagnosis of the check engine light the next day. After 3 weeks of being in the shop, they hadnt even looked at the van other than changing the starter. Had to go pick it up and now to figure out where to take it now! Do not recommend at all if you ever want your car back.

Even though I had to have my vehicle towed in from an accident, Bergren’s was there to make sure my vehicle was safe to drive. I use them for all services to my Yukon.

What can I say about the crew at Bergren auto! Myself and partner were on a road trip from West cost to east coast. Great Service done quickly!

My main concern this time was a major oil leak. I thought it was main seal but turned out to be just valve cover. I knew my brakes were spongy, they informed me it was the brake reservoir and booster. Replaced and returned vehicle the next day, running and braking better than ever. They gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was done. I appreciate all that they did. Also I love their 2 dogs

In support of this business I wanted to take some time out to thank the whole team at Bergrens. A dealer diagnostic proved to be inaccurate and caused a huge waste of time for me. Fortunately I was lucky enough to make it into Havre where I had to leave my vehicle for a week or two for them to troubleshoot the issue(s). Turned out the issue was completely segregated from what I was told originally by the dealership. This group is extremely knowledgeable, patient and understanding. They took their time out to explain the problem(s) and were upfront and honest. Thank you Matt for your help and I will continue to support your shop for years to come.
