I like this place. Very local and hometown. But top notch coffee. They start to know people after like 3 visits- way better face memory than I have!! And they have a couple little rooms you can reserve for meeting with folks.

Love this place. Been telling my kids that it’s important to support local- (they have been drawn toward Starbucks for a long time because it’s trendy). I’ve taken them here a few times. They are now asking to go on their own... and today they came home and said “Birch and Banyan is waaaaaaay better than Starbucks.” WIN!Nice work, you’ve won the heart of my kids and will be forever a part of their memory of 2021, growing up in downtown Hartland.

I come here all the time. The owner remembers my name, I enjoy their chais. I had two yesterday! Its a great study area and its perfect since there arent too many close coffee shops. Im headed back there today to do homework. Recommend!

Only been here once so far a month or so ago but my experience was great. I had a London Fog which was divine! The atmosphere is so cozy and warm, like a giant hug. I also appreciate their efforts to keep their employees and guests safe during COVID. Will definitely be back soon!

Arguably one of the best coffee shops in Lake country, if not the best. Birch and banyan offers sandwiches, soups, salads and many other goodies to go with your coffee, lattes, or smoothies. Definitely worth the trip every time.

I absolutely love Birch & Banyan Coffee. I come here to work sometimes and its just my favorite. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee is great, and I love that they have sandwiches, soup, and pastries, too. And ice cream! The coffee cake is superb, I definitely suggest it. The best part, though, is how nice the ladies behind the counter always are. They make suggestions, ask how your days going, and are always so sweet. I definitely recommend going here!

Cute coffee shop! Park on the street or parking lot next to the shop. Had a caramel steamer that was very tasty. Plenty of seating, nice fireplace and tables. There was also a small conference room as well that people were meeting in. While waiting for my drink - noticed they served a limited menu of food. Also had containers of ice cream, bakery items, and other foods. Handful of gift items and clothing. Overall nice place.

I moved from Wisconsin to Missouri, came up here for a wedding. This coffee shop is cozy and the staff is friendly and cheerful. Coffee was great! Great experience and will definitely be back when I come back up to visit my parents.

My first time at Birch and Banyan and it did not disappoint. My daughter had an iced vanilla latte and I had a delicious blood orange coconut ginger refresher. Both were amazing. The customer service was exceptional and Deb was very knowledgeable about the products they offer. Will definitely be back.

One of the best coffee shops around. It’s tough to go into this shop and feel out of place. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and the environment is fantastic for meetings and days away from the office. Can’t recommend it enough.

They have a nice variety of seating available including a couple of outdoor spots. Overall a very inviting place.

I went there to study after school and one of the workers approached me and told me, she was very rude about it, that I was not allowed to be there if I was not a customer. She also added that I was taking up their space, which I would totally understand if it was busy, but it was not. I simply left because I did not want to argue, but I was not being disruptive whatsoever and there were only two others there, meaning there were more than 10 open tables still. Very terrible service if I do say so. Very unhappy considering Starbucks and many other coffee shops allow you to simply study in their space. Would not reccommend

With the pink haze of disappointment from yesterdays coffee debacle still fresh in my brain... I ventured to Birch & Banyan this morning for coffee. The difference was absolutely amazing. These people know coffee and they are the real deal. The friendliness of staff was above and beyond and yes they use espresso... real fresh made espresso. I know it sounds weird that I have to mention the real espresso but from my previous experience yesterday this is a very important fact if you are in the area looking for a coffee shop.

Ever been in a bathroom where you felt more clean by NOT washing your hands? Well, not here! This place is so immaculate I felt the need to wipe down the sink AFTER washing my hands!And its got the best coffee in town!

Birch and Banyan is becoming one of my favorite spots in Hartland. I have had multiple meetings there and I am never disappointed. Awesome vibes and great tasting drinks! Jesse and her staff are always very kind. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tasting drink or place for a meeting.

They have tea down to a science and the space is so cozy you could easy stay and read good book with a warm beverage. You can tell the owner put her heart into this establishment.

HI had a sandwich, which they said was coming a good choice, made by Good Harvest. But the bread was stale. I wont eat that again! Prices a bit high too. If Id known the bread was old I wouldnt have tipped.

They carefully monitor temperatures and grind consistency. They weigh the espresso in their portafilter and are even mindful of tamping pressure. They weigh and bag their loose leaf tea (Rishi, the best). They rotate brewed coffee and dont let it sit too long. They calibrate their top of the line espresso machine. The beans are locally roasted and always fresh. Never a burnt, overly bright, or overly bitter taste. Just smooth and rich flavors.

I went to Birch & Banyon Coffee last Saturday and really enjoyed the experience. I had a Chai Latte and a muffin, both were delicious! The service was friendly and fast. I sat in front of the fire and had a relaxing morning. My friends had a coffee and a smoothly and said they were great. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone!

Cute new coffee shop in the center of town. All I had was a extra Hot Mocha.Note: make sure you stir it well as all my chocolate was at the bottom of my cup. I will remind barista next time I stop.
