Both Curry Ace hardware stores I’ve been to are great. There is always someone available to help who is knowledgeable and even though the stores are smaller than big box hardware stores, somehow they always have the thing I’m looking for. I often need small odd-sizes bolts and screws to fix vintage lighting pieces and their selection is exhaustive.

Every one is so helpful here, especially the guys that work the paint counter! They gave me great tips on how to paint and the project came out great.

Everything is way overpriced. You are paying a third to double what you would pay at a lowes, or homedepot. However they have great customer service.

They really do have anything you need!I was expecting to pay a little more for a place that wasn’t “the Depot”; but I was pleasantly surprised that their prices were the same or better. The employees will offer to help— and nobody says “sorry, that’s a different department”. Not the place to go if you need a bunch of 2x4s or drywall. But a great place to find everything else you need.

They had exactly what I needed ( car phone jack) & less expensive than most other stores

Ace Hardware are good to their customers

Curry always a solid reputation for excellent customer service and this one is no different. The moment you walk in, youre greeted and pointed in the right direction of what you need. (I know for me, my first instinct is to pretend i know exactly where Im going. Curry employees save me the time of being too proud to ask)

The employees are so helpful in assisting you with finding what you need. And if they dont have it they recommended another place where I might find it. Its no wonder Im in there once a week.

I know Curry Ace Hardware is typically known for their excellent customer service, and the Milton store certainly lives up to their reputation. However, I had a terrible experience at the Hanover store. I was looking for a certain item that was out of stock in Milton. The website showed it was in stock in Hanover. I tried to call to confirm, but they apparently were not accepting phone calls or phone orders, but rather they said to shop in the store. So I drove to Hanover at 6:30 a.m. in order to arrive when the store opened at 7am, only to be told Cant help you. No apology, just a shrug. Not so sorry you had to make an extra trip, its been so hard to keep the website updated or weve been inundated with phone orders, we had to cut it off. I get these are unusual times, but poor customer service is always frustrating and disappointing.

Always pleased with the breadth of products, prices and service I get at Curry. I prefer going to Ace Hardware stores over any other bug box stores.

If you cant find it at the big box store..then ACE is the Place for the hard to find

Very friendly and great customer service. Was greeted at the door and when I asked for a couple items I needed, the cashier took me to each spot and showed me the options. Always get better service at these local hardware places than the two big giants.

Great place to find people who understand the products and willing to help.Update: We got bad advice today about staining our deck. We asked if it matters if we stop staining an area and then cam back to continue. Mike at the store told us it doesnt matter. Turns out it matters a lot and now we have something called lap marks that were caused by staining over dry stain when continuing to stain. So we spent over $100 on stain that now needs to be redone. Maybe next time we should go to Benjamin Moore directly.

Friendly people with every answer you could need. All I ever have to do is walk in and explain what Im looking for and they get me what I need in no time at all. In an out in less than 15 minutes usually so its great for when you need that one part for your project really quick

I just love old school hardware stores... I tried to shop there because I dont want to support the big box companies but for all I know is the big box companies own them but my experience was great.

Great customer service. No pressure from salespeople but the staff is very knowledgeable and eager to address questions and to help you find exactly what you are looking for. In my case I had a few questions and they were quick to engage their coworkers in order to find the correct answer and solution.

I prefer these smaller more personal hardware stores. In addition to being able to find a person to help and advise, there stores are more manageable. You can park right in front. Corporate policies at big box stores are also not my values.

Great place to get all your hard work needs I rather shop local then go to home Depot or Lowes cause you walk in to. Currys hardware and they great you with a smile and bring you to the things you need instead the other side just point or say its not my department will return and will recommend this place to all my friends and neighbors great job

The people make the difference! Every time I visit, the staff has been friendly and helpful, especially for the odd reasons Im there. When I visit box stores, sometimes its good but sometimes its very frustrating. I never regret going to Curry Ace.

Are some of their employees on drugs? One guy kept bumping into things and staring at the ceiling as he spoke, allot. It felt weird I walked away and left quickly.
