We have lived in Southall for 10 years and found this hardware store to meet just about all of our hardware needs. This place is special, the service and friendliness goes beyond what one would expect and distant wise it’s just a short hop away. The manager is extremely helpful and I always enjoy saying hello to Amy when checking out…..a welcome relief compared to big box stores and a real community treasure.

This particular Ace hardware on Nickerson Blvd is the best experience I have ever had at any hardware store! I forgot her name but the female oriental cashier went above and beyond to help meet my need, and the most pleasant attitude! I want to say thank you to her for all her help! I highly recommend Shopping at Ace hardware in Buckroe.

I always enjoy shopping at Ace. My only issue is availability of some items, like filters or cleaners. The stores are always clean and the associates are always helpful.

Have been to this store on several occasions. I live in norfolk and the local ace store never seems to have what Im looking for. This store however is large and well stocked. Its well with the drive.

We placed an online order for curb side p/u and had to call 2xs to check on the order over the course of several days. At one point my husband called and was put on hold for 20 mins before hanging up and calling again. NOT focused on customer service! 😒😡

What a great.place to get things for around the house. Ace associates are very friendly and eager to assist. May not be the cheapest place for household products, but the service provided is well worth the difference in price. Love this place!!!

Super friendly and helpful employees! This store has more selection than many ACE HW stores and was well organized.I got the breaker I needed and not available at the orange not the blue big box home improvement stores. I also got some needed and hard to find metric wing nuts.Ill be back?

I would like to thank the gentleman that gave me the instructions on how to install weather stipping for my front door. I originally stated that I would wait for my son to install it, however it was so easy, I had ot in less than 2 minutes:) Thank you again.

Went to buy black high temp silicone sealant. Was not with all the other sealants. Employee had to help me find it. Then tried to look for a fireplace log holder. All of the ones in the store were too big for my fireplace. Employees were courteous. Store was clean.

My dad and I know a lot of the people here by name since we always go here. He buys tools and supplies to fix up his house. I go there because they have a great selection of fishing stuff. Very friendly people. Willing to help. No bad attitudes.

Nice. I wanted a new weed eater and bought a stehl. It was already put together for me, they put gas in it and made sure it was working correctly. Showed me all about it. Went home happy.

I had a question about rental equipment which I thought all Ace Hardware stores had however this store does not carry rental equipment. I asked the store manager does this vary store by store and he replied yes. The reason I’m giving this one star is due to the fact that from the first interaction he pretty much brushed me off. I’ve heard employees state that the store manager is racist however I feel this may be the case. I have seen this in person because I saw how other customers were handled. I won’t be giving this location anymore of my business.

Gives the absolute best customer service. Last week I decided to give their “paint matching” a try. I went to Home Depot previously and every time they were a bit off on the color. When I went to Ace Hardware on Nickerson they hit the color spot on. The color was exact. The wait time was half as long as Home Depot as well. They saved me time and ensured I had the best quality, I couldn’t have asked for much more. Today I visited again and I was given above and beyond service today as well. Keep up the good work, someone is obviously doing something right at this location.

Dropped chainsaw chain off to be sharpened. Clerk said it would be 3 days. Has been 10 days and still not done. Get run around when asked when it would be ready each person i talk to says to call next day ask for Tony. Talk to to says he doesnt handle shsrpening says he will get manager to call me. Hear nothing. Very disappointed.

Always a great experience I had my new home inspection today and came in with a punch list. we gave them all a workout and every encounter with the team was fantastic

They are very helpful and almost always have whatever I have gone looking for. There are a few guys that have a lot of knowledge, experience and insight of whatever you are working on.

The prices here are not as affordable as home-improvement stores; However, their location to my home is very convenient. They have pretty good customer service and will usually go the extra mile to help you get heavy items to your vehicle or go out of their way to order an item if its not already in stock. They have more of a variety of items than most people realize.

Didnt have what I needed so I went to Lowes. I was looking for a/c filters.

I always check this Ace before heading to Lowes or Home Depot, its closer, their staff is always great and helpful. Customer service seems to be valued by this store, and its nice to feel like a customer, not just another project. This store is well stocked, safe, well-lit and easily accessible. Great store for your everyday hardware needs.

Been There 3 different times for a project and all 3 times they didnt have items to make a TV cabinet which was hardware they had but wrong size Sold OUT

Its a little pricey but I will say there is something about the store that you get the you dont get in a lot of places and thats customer service when I need something for a quick Home Improvement project Ill gladly pay the price over Lowes and Home Depot if I have to do a big project all go to those places but if I need something small like when I stain my bench Ace is where I go all the time its right around the corner from me an easy to get to thats what I like about it plus the customer service is great something I will pay up for when Im doing home improvement

I always go to Nickerson Ace Hardware to rent Uhauls, although I pass several on the way there. Jade was great, even waited for me when I ran late and had everything ready when I got there. You go so many places where the employees really could care less about your experience with them, this Ace has the absolute best!!!
