In store on Oct 15, two items, only shop here for these items, not available in other stores. Express lanes removed to install more self checkout, one young man running back and forth to multiple problems, all self checkouts in use. Never again. Don’t be fooled, prices are high, you do all the checkout, bagging and no discount. Tops makes enough to provide service, No staff, thats an excuse for more self checkout! Saves the company money, new motto…no service, no money spent here.

Good location, typical tops. Citizens bank inside is a major service offered.

I am not one to write bad reviews. but today was such a horrible experience at this Hamburg location. i was in the last cashiers line, Kate i believe was her name. there was a customer ahead of me and the cashier was talking her ear off, the customer kept turning around to apologize to me but i said it was ok. i had about 50 items on the belt. one was a 2 liter of squirt. the cashier knocked it over and it started exploding everywhere, all over me, all over my groceries. she literally stood there and just had a blank stare on her face, which is when i said can you do something?! she said oh yeah, and slowly found the paper towels and just stood there staring at everything. so i took it out of her hands and tried my best to clean up this mess. she made me put the exploding squirt at another register. a manager comes over, doesnt help me AT ALL, as my groceries are now all sitting in soda, and handles a completely different situation. so as im quickly getting all my groceries back in my cart, i said im going to another lane! nobody replied to me and just kept talking to eachother. as i went to another lane, some guy brought over another squirt to the 1st register i was at, and the manager says i dont know where she went. like you didnt realize me taking 50 items back in my cart and hearing me scream that im going to another register?? she didnt even bother to come find me and bring me the squirt or apologize in any way. the original customer that was before me actually brought it to me as she was walking out of the store.and as im cashing out in the new line, your manager just sat against her station and was laughing with her friends. please watch this scenerio on your camera! i was there on july 12 around 2:15.yall almost had me in tears, such an embarrassing experience.

Open 24 hours and easy to find. The store is HUGE and they have everything you need for any occasion. Every employee I encountered was very helpful and seemed to like their jobs! The place is spotless too!

Even after the remodeling that was done recently the store is not cleaned well and the restrooms more times than not are filthy.Many of the employees are very rude, nasty and lie

Very well stocked and extremely friendly employees. Produce very nicely filled and an excellent selection, produce employee Jim was very helpful and very friendly. Grocery manager Will K. was very helpful (and might I add very handsome as well).

Was there today to buy some fresh produce.I bought some peaches,plums and apples.When I got home , my family tried them they were absolutely terrible. We threw them in the garbage after a single bite.Time to go to Wegman s. If it wasnt for covid I would have brought back the rotten fruit back to Tops for a refund.Buyer beware of Tops produce!!

Tops has good sales and friendly staff. A great selection of flavored seltzers at a fair price. I wish they had more meat/poultry options, and that the brands were better labeled. I never end up buying meat because the conditions in which the animals were raised is never really clear.

It’s always been a really good store, and now they’re finishing up on renovations which make it look brand new! It’s amazing now!

Why doesnt this Tops carry Maui onion chips like every other tops????

Called the service desk at 4:30p to ask what time they close. Was told 7pm. Came in at 6:56pm and the lights were off with no one there. I then proceeded to receive attitude from the bratty teenage supervisor at the front of the store.

We shop there all the time, its convenient for us. The gas points are nice, But due to declining produce and merchandise, I guess we need to find someplace else. The produce is a big factor. Lettuce that goes bad in a day or its just a head of air. I am so done with their produce. From tomatoes to watermelon, latter being the last straw. The last 4 watermelons I have gotten were mostly white. Looks good on outside, but thats it. So disappointed in the decline of care this grocery store has.

Best tops in the area! Their cans and bottle return area is the cleanest one you’ll find. Staff is always friendly. The lines are never long even when the store is packed. I had a great experience with a cashier named Lyn K. Very friendly and helpful.

Love wide variety of foods available!!! Great ordering special pick- up from bakery + take out. All staff very helpful!!! Managers always available for questions + concerns/ problems. Store always clean. Young men in customer assistance all wonderfully helpful!! Havent ever had to deal with staff having a bad day!!! Since I have to buy food, this is the store I prefer!

We go here for one reason only...its close to our house. The prices are generally higher than other supermarkets in the area, but you can usually get some good deals if you stick to the weekly specials. I say usually because often their special prices are still higher than others base prices. The cashiers are generally pleasant, but the management is...how to put it...aloof and stuck up. Ive seen the same management staff multiple times per week for years , but they never make eye contact or give you a greeting. (So much for the Friendly in their name.)

Good store. Produce is a little dirty. Grocery Store is stocked for the most part. Seemed to be drama between the cashiers. Not a good look for the store and the associates.

I know what Im getting when I go there, its open 24 hours a day, and its usually well stocked. Right in the middle of town, neaby to other stores and restaurants, its a solid choice for shopping.

Had everything I was looking for. Easy in and out. Very pleasant workers. The self check-out registers a little sensitive about place the item in the bag and remove the item from the bag and rescan.

A good variety of items available. I enjoy their bakery. They have a pretty good beer selection also. Bonus points for gas.

For numerous months now Ive been very dissatisfied with the pizza and chicken area. You used to crary leg quarters that were baked and different types of chicken that were Bates and they stopped in your store so now I have to decide to go to Wegmans or the McKinley store the tops.

Clean and bright store. Well stocked. Good fresh produce section. Meat department much better than many other locations; fresh and precut selection impressive.Store layout is a bit weird and the parking lot is smallish and could use some work. Does have a discount gas kiosk for self service on the Clark Street side. Traffic issues on South Park Ave can make certain times of the day annoying... as can Erie County Fair season.

Went there with a shopping list from my wife and what I couldnt find the employees didnt just point to an aisle and say something like half way down on the right but actually took the time to take me to the items location. I appreciated that kind of extra effort they showed me very much.

I have had the worst experience in Tops a shopper could have. I was notified by the store that a towel from a promotion was being held for me at the store. In the process of receiving this towel, I was accused of trying to steal this towel. I couldnt believe what was happening. I am a retired teacher who is disabled. They called me to come and get the towel. They wouldnt listen to me. I didnt shop at their store for quite a while. I still dont like shopping there. But being disabled limits where I go

Very clean store with friendly helpful employees with large parking area with good amount of handicap spots available. Store is very well organized easy to find what you are looking for.

Usually everything is good here, but the last few boxes of tops brand maragrine does not taste or smell the same! Why was it changed or is something wronge with this batch? I want maragrine not butter flavor! When I asked to contact me they just said bring it back. I want to know why!

Tops is getting so expensive I cant afford to shop there. I only go in for the sale items. Meat prices are outrageous!! I buy meat at the local meat market. (Hoelschers) in Hamburg. For other grocery items Aldies or Save a lot are my go to stores!

I love Tops. I think their prices are reasonable, the bathroom is almost always clean and stocked, their meat department has nice meat and well priced. The place is always clean and it isnt as overwhelming as some of the other grocery stores in the area.

Thank God for coupons my bill was $31 with the coupons are used final bill 17 dollars. Just stopped bags 2 Tops Market on August August 26th and picked up a rotisserie chicken when I broke the chicken apart noticed maggots inside the chicken check this picture out so it even smells

Tops has a great variety of various groceries. Some prices are good, a lot of the groceries are expensive. Most locations are open 24/7 though.

Ive had bad produce here. Prices are high. Kids that work here are pretty nice though and the location is convenient.

A smaller more people friendly store with all the items you find at the bigger Tops.

This Tops has nearly everything for a smaller store, glad to have it nearby and on my way to other places. The only thing is that 3 out 4 times when I go to return deposit bottles, the machine is full or inoperable.

Because-(FAULTS:) • Its not be a remodeled, modern grocery store in its industry class, such as Wegmans, in Blasedell, and like the new Super-WALMART, Southwestern Boulevard, Hamburg. Both competing stores super Wegmans and Super Walmart were remodeled 10 to 15 years after any remodeling was done at the Super-Tops on South Park.• Its second largest fault is that the Super-Tops on South Park is the only Tops in most of the Western New York area - that is designed with a product, design layout plus general platform thats completely different then all the other TOPS in the general Western New York area. Making it very hard to find the products you need at the Tops on South Park. The following TOPS that are the ones that have the same platform product, placement format, where you can always find the same product even though you might go to a different Tops. They are as listed:• Tops - Derby, Erie Road.• Tops - Hamburg, Camp Road. (near the South Park intersection.)• Tops - Lancaster.• Tops - West Seneca (neat Taco Bell and Wendys restaurant.•Tops - City of Buffalo, Niagara Street.[Note: NOT ALL BUT LIMITED TO...](My Opinion.)

Poor customer service, bought 2 turkeys on one receipt two weeks ago, no signs saying limit one, gave one to the food bank and kept the other, realized only one came up on sale, I went back for the difference back and they said no, so I returned it for a refund. Turkey was partially thawed so they will or should throw it away. What a waste just to save face. Back to Wegmans I go!

I dont know if anyone has noticed, but Tops prices are getting ridiculous. I went there to buy food for the week and not even crazy meals either. Cheap frozen veggies, cheap fruit like bananas, etc. Only had to get dinner stuff for 3 nights. My bill was over $100 and I barely had anything to show for it. I feel robbed every time I go to Tops or Wegmans. I need to start shopping around again, even though it will take more time. My one year old twins need whole milk and I paid about $3 on sale at Tops, but at Wegmans its always $1.89 as regular price. I guess its not that bad to go to more than one store because I am close to a lot, but dragging my babies around gets difficult!
