I’ve had my vehicle serviced here many times since it’s the place that installed my driving equipment. The labor cost is extremely high and they never seem to be in any kind of hurry to get my vehicle back to me in a timely manner. That means I’m always stranded at my home since I can’t afford to rent a van that I’m not able to drive myself. One time, when I was having transmission issues, they assured me it wasn’t, and repaired some items that had nothing to do with it, costing me a big chunk of change. And since they didn’t bother to test drive it after working on it, I barely made it home to then have it towed to repair the transmission. I filled a complaint with the main office and I think I talked to the manager, but I wasn’t offered any break on what I was charged. Now I have to wait till Tuesday to get my van back since no one there will go above and beyond to get the work done since the part came in right before their lunch break and they close at 5 on the dot and Monday is a holiday. And then I get to pay $5,800 for the mechanism that pushes the brakes and gas so I can drive with hand controls. Of course I have to pay such an exorbitant cost since no one offers an extended warranty for such equipment.

I wondered why my youngest son refused to have his lift repaired by this company so I called the service department and left 2 messages and never heard from anyone. when I called the third time to make an appointment i was told that only the service manager could make the appointment. On the forth call I finally reached the service manager and was instructed by her that I needed to make an appointment to have it diagnosed and that was $120.00. I told her that I knew what it needed. there was no reason for diagnostics. The woman looked up the customer information and asked me for a model #. I asked if they did not keep records of this and was rudely told NO! When asked if the part was in stock, I was told no. When asked if she could order the part I was instructed that a deposit was required. The Service Manager here is the rudest most uncaring woman I have ever spoken to on the phone. If you are south of Ft. Worth or Dallas and dont mind driving to Temple as We are in Corsicana so the drive is about the same. We called Dons Medical they ordered the part without a deposit and called when it came in. We took the truck to them the next day and they installed it.I am also a business owner and if we employed a CSR as rude as this woman is we would make sure she was no longer a Manager of any sort!

Ive been coming here for 10 years now and never had an issue until they hired the service rep lady (she doesnt even do her job)...a cable snapped on my ramp like 6 months ago, my boyfriend called, and I thought everything would be ordered and ready to go... The service rep lady said shell call in a week when they have the parts, never got a called back! Same thing happened with my transfer seat. Even the transfer seat completely stopped working today, so I called and they made me think that they can come out here to fix it since I cant drive. Nope! The service rep lady wants me to have my van towed there!! Another thing, she hung up on me after explaining my frustrations and why Im upset!! This is unacceptable, I hope yall fire her because she is a horrible employee.

I have bought 3 vans from Guy Tucker at Advanced Mobility. Each time, he has gone over and above in getting me the van that fits my needs at the best price possible. The guys at Advanced Mobility have delivered the vans to my home, to see if they would work. Then I spent the day in their shop while they customized everything specifically for my abilities and needs. If something breaks down while I am out running errands, Will Douglass ‘rescues’ me so I am not stranded. He has fixed and arranged and re-done things for me on my van for years, always with a smile, always gracious and thoughtful. Craig and Jay listen to what I need repaired, and go over each concern I have, very patiently. Doug, Ashley and the girls in the office are always gracious and kind, very helpful and efficient. When I had a car accident and totaled my van, Guy checked on me almost every day. He has been to my home several times to help out with something on my van or wheelchair.I truly do not know where I would be without the people at Advanced Mobility. Sometimes moving through life in a wheelchair can be a daily struggle. They make that load much lighter with their kindness, patience and efficiency.

Very clean facility, very capable staff, very friendly. Greeted as I walked in, took my van within 5 minutes. After the technicians looked at the van they found a defective fuse. Replaced it and showed me the place it was replaced. Also they only charged .5 hours. Could have been 1 minimum but I was way happy with .5. I highly recommend the shop

So far, so good!!! They gave me an appointment time to have a tech check out the broken door cable on a 2002 wheel chair van.I arrived, they got the van right into the shop and worked up an estimate.A very very fair estimate too! I gave a deposit for them to order the parts needed for repair and Ill be back when parts are in and they set a day for me to leave the van for service.Very nice staff that appreciates their customers. Its also a VERY busy place as you can imagine that wheel chair vans are a specialty.

To know about Advanced Mobility you need to know the owner, Guy Tucker and what he stands for. As owner and leader, all who work for him must uphold what he sets forth. I am a 78 year old post polio quad on 24/7 life support. I have known Mr. Tucker over 25 years and been through 3 vans with him - each different as my needs change. He even designed & installed a van battery back up system for my ventilator if needed. His sincere caring for my welfare and creative talents to cover the need are awesome! I know of the endless hours he personally devotes to cover needs, comfort, welfare & safety of his clients - that is first & foremost whether on location or the called to come to Alaska - he is there for you. He is strong in principle, sincerely cares and honest. That is called integrity - very lacking in todays world of Greed adorned to attract those unaware. An Eve and The apple thing as Gods Word expresses it. I am most grateful for Guy, his staff and crew.

My initial contact with Advanced Mobility did not go well as they did not have the part we needed and initially did not return our phone call. However, once they got the part in, they scheduled us for installation and took care of it quickly. Waiting area was nice, clean, staff very friendly. The devices installed worked effectively. Initially the crossover turn signal lever needed adjusting. They scheduled us in and fixed it. About a month later I passed my road test with DPS, bought a new truck and Advanced worked with the car dealership to install the spinner knob, crossover turn signal lever, and got the truck delivered to us timely. Great job! Now I can drive myself to work. So, yes, our initial experience was a bit rough, but they more than made up for it the 2nd and 3rd time around. Awesome products and people! Great place to do business. Highly recommended!

I have used Advanced Mobility for quite a few years and they are the best! Their staff is respectful of your condition and your time and go out of their way to help you. If ever I have had the slightest problem with a lift they have jumped right in and solved the situation immediately. In the past I had a pickup with a camper top that opened so that my poweerchair could be placed beside the truck to get onto. I cant tell you the number of people who would see it work and ask where I got it. I always sent them to Advanced Mobility.Recently I had the good fortune and blessing to get a conversion van and went to Guy Tucker to see what he might have. Since I did not have near enough money to buy a brand new one I sought him out in hopes he had a used one I could afford. Sure enough Guy went to work in my behalf and came up with the perfect solution and placed me in the van this last week. The entire experience could not have been better. These people know what they are doing and how to get it done. If you need help in getting around due to mobility issues or you are a veteran needing some assistance in that department these are the people to see.

With respects to quasi-literate grumpy person joe john, writing elsewhere on this page, he got it wrong. No cigarette butts, no trash, no rudeness, no condescension, no dope smoking at Advanced Mobility Systems of Texas. Advanced sells quality products at a fair price, and with bang-up service after the sale. From the owner on down, the people are knowledgeable, friendly, concerned. They treat you right. They fix your problem. I know of grousing like this from the competition, but that was a long time ago. It wasnt true then, either.

Words cant begin to describe how AWFUL my experience was here. I never leave reviews, but I want people to know how terrible this company is. My father had a tuck shipped here to have hand controls, they told him it would be 3-5 days tops. ITS BEEN 8 WEEKS AND NO WORD. What is going on?!? Weve tried contacting them, and they just give us the run-around. Hed already sold his other van, as he was told that it would be a week, and now hes immobile. Ugh, just go somewhere else.
