We just purchased a vehicle on Saturday from Kia of Greer. It was by far the best car buying experience we have ever had. Our sales person Mike Harley was very professional, easy to get along with, and never pressured us.Mike introduced us to the service manager and make sure that we were familiar with all of the cars features after our purchase was finalized.I usually dread the part that happens in the financing office as I do not like the pressure tactics for the additional warranty products and the like. Terry was completely different from any finance manager I’ve ever dealt with. He was low pressure but explained the product offerings that were available and how they would benefit us. The rest of the process was as smooth as I have ever experienced.While taking delivery, I have never been more confident in how familiar I was with the vehicle before I left the lot. Mike made sure that I had all of the resources that I needed to enjoy my ownership experience and promised follow up which I receive in the coming days.While we do not expect to need to make any car purchases in the near future as our vehicles are new now, we will definitely check in at Kia of Greer when it is time to make our next purchase and we will immediately ask for Mike Harley. I highly recommend working with his team.

First off, Brian was awesome! I hope he finds better employment that is on his level of service and professionalism. Very pushy warranty sales practices. Made it very clear I was not interested and they attempted to “scare” me into one talking about “70,000 miles is a lot, the engine or transmission could blow up anytime”…. Their paperwork for the warranties even states that by signing you are agreeing to purchase a warranty, there is no option to decline. Would not even give me an estimate of trade in until the vehicle was there. The vehicle we were interested in had not been detailed or through service, no big deal, however I was informed to return the following day and have it detailed and serviced. The next day nobody was available to detail. They did go through the car thoroughly and make reasonable repairs at no additional charge. The process to purchase the vehicle took more time than it should have. 4 hours to purchase a vehicle is ridiculous. It’s also ridiculous that their sales team call me while I’m literally sitting in the showroom and ask me about buying a car, informed them I was actively purchasing one and they “updated” my notes only to get a phone call the very next day asking if Im interested in purchasing a vehicle…. They are all over the place. The car was priced reasonably or we would have gone elsewhere.

We stated our day at another dealership and it was the most miserable experience. We decided to check Kia out and let me tell you they did not disappoint!! Our salesman Brian was so amazing, from beginning to the end he was very helpful. He showed how to operate everything, listen to all our questions, and most of all made sure we were comfortable with everything without being pushy! The financing process was so easy and the man who helped us there was great as well!! If you need a good car at a great price with phenomenal customer service this place is a must! I can say that the day started off rough but ended with much more than just a car. We will have a lasting impression of what REAL customer service should be! I can not thank the entire team for being so gracious and helpful! Each person we came across congratulated us! I am beyond impressed!!! Thank you Kia of Greer, and Thank you Brian!

Honestly the best car buying experience I have had so far. If you get the chance definitely work with or ask for Brian. He was super helpful and made the experience very fun and fluid. The vehicle, although used, was in great shape and cleaned very thoroughly. It wasn’t the usual uncomfortable experience where they try to upsell you or anything even close. Very friendly staff. I would recommend Brian and Kia of Greer to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. Honest review, I promise.

Me and my family members sons and daughters have purchased 3 kias and 3 hyundais from Kia of Greer I am currently having an issue with a 2018 optima that they have a recall on a knock noise which I learned is a connecting rod issue.They are going to have my optima from 3 to 6 months is what theyre telling me because theyre backed up. And I cant get any help with a loaner vehicle or a rental car until after I have rented the entire time got my vehicle fixed and got it returned and then the max are going to do is $40 a day you cant rent a car for $40 a day but every wanting me to front that bill for 6 months think about this when you go look for a new car this is what you get from Kia and especially Kia of Greer shop elsewhere for a car

Bought a used car from this place last week in cash. So here was my experience with this dealership.1. They will tell you they dont negotiate on prices for used cars. This is a lie, its a sales tactic, its negotiable. If they say this, just offer to leave.2. As Aaron stated in his review as well, they will try to push that extended warranty on you. Its $2,900 for 12 month/12000 miles. Thats 200 something a month. The guy who did the paperwork asked me what type of car I was buying, then claimed the paper laminated and taped to his desk was the repair estimate for my car specifically. It was a estimate sheet for various services you could encounter. I was buying a Toyota, there is no way the estimates were for a 2013 Toyota Avalon.3. Get a Carfax, they use a service offered by Experian that doesnt offer anything. Mine showed 1 service completed and it was by them. My personal carfax showed nearly 30 more services. So do yourself a favor and order that Carfax4. This one really ticked me off. My Salesman LJ, who is the son of the General Manager, was the one to put the temporary tag on my vehicle. He did so incredibly fast. Turns out you can be fast at it when you used molding style screws. Meaning the type of small screws you would used to attach the inside molding under the fenders of your car. So its no coincidence that 3 days after buying my car the entire tag flew off while on the road.5. They did try to do the strong-arm tactic on me by using 2 salesman to make the push to buy. If they do this, dont be intimidated, its just them trying to push a Sale.All in all, this dealership seems to be extremely pushy about things and the financing guy who does the paperwork is definitely overdoing it. If you walk away thinking everyone was soo nice to you, its probably because you just overpayed. Not saying not to go here, just saying to be weary the environment here is very hostile. Ive literally had better experiences at small shady car sales lots. But when its all said and done, I have a good car that Im happy with.

If I could give Kia of Greer 10 STARS it still would not be adequate to describe the BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE Ive ever had in 50 years! Starting with their web site, which sited accurately their huge discounts, also, they did not play the usual irritating buying a car games.There, Mr. LJ Murray and Rich, were waiting for me to drive up after a quickly made appointment. There was not the expected regular customer service salesmanship...NO, I WAS TREATED LIKE FAMILY!So the whole transaction, from determining what I actually wanted...which I thought was a used 5 year old Kia Soul.... with their upfront pricing, and financing assistance I drove away in a dream car.. not 2020, 2021...but a 2022 brand new super perfect new vehicle!Again Mr. Murray was so supportive and so quick to get paperwork wrapped up! Everyone including the Manager of Kia came out to give me a hug and a photo!! I was so happily thrilled with the process, I started to bawl!!! Dont go anywhere else...they have the best warranties, vehicles, and salesmanship in the business! Thank you!!

Bought a new Kia k5 gt line car here. Not even a year driving it and it has tons of issues. The biggest one….. WONT TURN ON!!!!!!!! I just think if I get a brand new car and I’m paying good money for it the least that it can do is TURN ON!!!!! NEVER BUYING A KIA AGAIN!!! THESE CARS ARE TRASH!

I have been working with KIA of Greer for many years and most everyone have been extremely good to work with but on this particular day, 8/27/2021 an individual named Andre was extremely rude and even threw keys at the salesman we were working with. I was very surprised to see this type of behavior. He was not pleasant at all.

I went in needing to get out of my old car and into something more roomy. It took some time due to my situation, but eventually Dakota found the solution for me. Then Rich worked like mad and got me the deal I wanted. At financing, Kia had a rebate I qualified for and that lowered my payment by $17! Grateful for Dakota sticking with it until we found the perfect fit for me. Very happy!

I got really great service today on my Kia Forte. I had an engine light on turned out to be a sparkplug misfire. The car is under warranty so no charge on the spark plugs. I had the oil and filter changed with a coupon I received in the mail for $25. They recommended I use mid grade gas. May look into the new EV electric. It goes 300 miles without a charge. Exciting news coming out of Kia these days.

Lies through their teeth. I was called yesterday and was told of a $0 down promotion they had going. I told them I wouldn’t qualify for it since my credit was low, and they said it was specifically designed for people with low credit to improve it. I drove 30 minutes today through traffic to get there, and was informed that they couldn’t help me. I had everything riding on today and was deeply disappointed and upset that I was mislead and that my and my husband’s time was wasted. NEVER go here. They are unwilling to help and will lie to get you through the door.

I had my car in for oil change, 4 tires , warranty recall, and an alignment. We picked up the car after the service center was closed and the traction control light was on and the cruise control would not work. Initially Kia Of Greer was not taking responsibility and told me they could look at my car in a couple of days, I was not happy. Cosandra got involved and was able to Identified the warranty part installed was bad and had me fixed in 10 minutes. Cosandra turned my unpleasant and aggravating morning into a pleasant afternoon.

Since we bought our first one here, we wanted to give them the chance to sale us another one but service by management was ridiculous. Drove over an hour to this location based on broken promises from management, telling me theyd beat a price I was offered from another dealership (which was closer to me, btw) then failed to work with me when I got there. We walked in with numbers, & left in the vehicle we drove there in. The only reason they got 2 stars was because our sales representative was awesome. Had a fun accent & was really friendly & helpful.

I was coming home from a vacation at Hilton Head Island and my 2017 Kia Sorento lost acceleration up a hill and had to pull over and have the car towed 36 miles back to SC. And, in fact, they add that amount in dealer options to every car before selling it. I am 69 and have never had this experience at a dealer before.

We were on a family vacation (visiting family), when our ac compressor when out in my SUV. Called The Kia Store and spoke with BJ Johnson. This guy was awesome. He was very professional and provide the upfront cost with options. Got us repaired within the same day, I cannot say enough about BJ. He truly cares about the people he assists. While my family was visiting with my extend family, My father and I took the suv in for the repair. Mark Derr ( a sales consultant) provided his time to help me show my father a SUV my wife ordered at a different KIA store. He explained all the features and comforts that came with the vehicle with the understand that we were not purchasing. He also obliged me in getting the manager. I always like to speak with the managers of someone who assist me to provide feedback. This is where I would like to provide some feedback from one manager to another, you should not speak badly about your team members especially to customers. This is very unprofessional and shows room for growth as a manager. Remember problems up / praise down. Managers (members of management) are there to help people grow into a better team member, your team members are not stepping stones or a source for complaints. If your team members are not to the level you are wanting, then help them grow into the roll they are assigned.

Absolutely biggest joke of a dealership ever! Walked in to look at a 2021 Telluride, with a suggested price of $45,000, the salesman came out and stated it was actually $60,000 due to a premium package($4500), a limited availability charge of $8000, and a rest assured environment package($1,999).I am not sure how this can be considered ethical charging somebody $8000 due to the consequences of Covid that has caused a delay in supplies for vehicles. This already gave me a negative 1st impression of the dealership. The sales manager tried to state that they were being honest upfront by showing this on the tag. I can honestly say I have never seen an up charge like this on any vehicle I’ve purchased and I’ve purchased over eight vehicles!Regardless, he said to give it a test drive and see how I felt, But first give them our keys so they can appraise the car while we’re doing so. My husband and I went and test drove the car With the sales person. He was in fact very pleasant and answered many questions. When we got back to the dealership, they had a sit down and a different sales manager came out and sat there with his legs crossed staring at my husband asking him questions, not once was I given eye contact and asked how I liked the vehicle for atleast five minutes, until my husband stated you might want to ask my wife seeing as it will be her car. I then expressed what I liked about the car. I also asked about incentives and stated the only thing making me hesitant doing this is the huge up charge. I then asked how much did they get for my trade-in for my vehicle to see if that would offset this huge gap in pricing (even though I had a huge down payment- it was more the principal for me.) The sales manager then went and got the original sales manager to speak with because he had my keys. When he arrived over there, I asked how much it was valued at for a trade-in and he stated they didn’t even do an evaluation on it. He also stated they wouldn’t do that unless you expressed interest, which I stated I wouldn’t have given my keys to him and stayed to do a test drive and sat down and waited for him to come over if I was not interested. I also asked questions during this visit about building a telluride and if they would still charge the additional $8000, where he said they do not build cars anymore. I did note at the time that there were incentives for military online which he stated they wouldn’t honor.I looked at my husband and stated that they were obviously were not interested in selling a car to us, and that we went our separate ways.I almost felt as if he thought that like we weren’t worthy of the vehicle, or couldn’t afford it, which we 100% could with a credit score of over 800, a trade in, and down payment.

Took my moms Kia to have the oiled changed at Kia of Greer had excellent service.When I left the parking lot I had an accident and had to return to Kia of Greer where I was treated excellent. Cassandra helped calm me down and talked me thru the process of having my car repaired. Thank you so much. Just called for an oil change and the lady in the service department was such a b!tch.Extremely nasty when I asked about my coupon and felt the need to try to explain the fact that my vehicle takes full synthetic. I obviously know that considering I’ve had 6 other oil changes in the vehicle. I was just asking what deals they were running for them if my coupon didn’t work. ( which should be covered because I BOUGHT the vehicle with the maintenance plan) I’m not driving 700 miles back to where I bought the vehicle for an oil change. This lady couldn’t have been more nasty and I’d just go to the one in Greenville if they had a sooner opening. They didn’t have any problems with taking the damn coupon, so I might just go there anyways. Not a good first impression, at all.

Ive been car shopping for a while now and Kia of Greer has had the best customer service of any dealer. They sent me videos, answered my multitude of questions, and were very patient. I did not get the sleezy car dealership experience like I have with some of the other big dealers near Greenville. While I did not ultimately end up purchasing a vehicle from them (my quest for the perfect used vehicle continues), I would definitely contact them again. Went there in mind to get a SUV but they said my scores werent strong enough so I would have to get something like 2021 Kia Rio. I told them Ill just wait an come back in about 6 months. I wanted a SUV bc Ive had back surgery an I needed one instead of a car bc they sit up higher. Im already in a Kia Optima 2014 an it sits lower. And Im having more surgery on my back. I need a SUV. I have gotten my car serviced at KIA of Greer sense purchasing it new in 2011, and they use to have a wonderful service department, but over the last 6 months I have gotten my oil changed there and other items,and during that time they missed catching 3 lights being out on the exterior of my car, luckily the police did not see this because it would have been a ticket, but the main point is when I brought this to the attention of the service person his attitude was rude and pretty much what do you want me to do, when brought to the attention of the service manager same attitude, but after pointing out the facts he reluctantly gave me 1 hr of free diagnostic telling me I need a 700 dollar control box, I purchased the box and installed it did not solve the problem, come to find out it was a small short in the headlight unit, when I tried to contact and discuss it with the GM I left 3 messages and never heard back, if I could contact the owner I would, poor service and poor attitudes, and trust me I gave them numerous chances to right the wrong prior to posting this review

So I drive from piedmont to Greer for the sales manager Richie to tell me they don’t have it there that it was gone to auction and we couldn’t look at it. Clearly, Kia holds its employees to a high standard of customer service. I received nothing short of that! It was my first time coming to this facility and the young man that assisted me was sooooo sweet and patient and attentive...he made sure I knew where to find the waiting room, restroom, and refreshments. My appointment time was honored (which is hard to do because you never know when youll get backed up or behind). I got a good car, but will not return to this high pressure dealership.MADE AN APPOINTMENT! for oil change last August 2020. Upon arrival at the appointed time I was told it would be 1 hour. Drop-ins were taken ahead of my appointment time making me wait 1 hour. They could have let me know that appointments are useless. I did get the oil change because it was the 1st & free. My husband canceled his oil change appointment...........If I need Kia service, I will go to Galena Kia in Columbia, SC. little farther from NC but worth it.

NEVER AGAIN!!!! I went to trade my Kia in yesterday, thinking that I would get a great deal with a hassle free experience. Yesterday was everything opposite of that. On the day before, I was given an appt for yesterday morning at 9am to see Joe. I arrive around 8:30. Around 9am, I was informed that Joe wasnt coming in. Dealt w/ another salesman who was young and clearly inexperienced, but whatever. Everyone has to start somewhere in their career. After providing my info, there was a LOT of waiting due to a staff meeting. Really????? Ive never patronized, or worked for a company whose staff meeting put the customers on hold. Anyway, fast fwd. The salesman pulled the K5 around and told me I was approved, and lets go test drive it. After confirmation, I was NOT approved. When asked why, another salesman replied, The Kia K5 is too much car for you. How about the Rio or the Forte? I made it clear that I desired nothing else if I couldnt get the K5. Another employee informed me that the owner of Kia also owns other nearby lots. I requested to search their inventories, but the rude salesman informed me that they cannot do that. With my Kia being inoperable (bad ECM) on their lot, I thanked them and left. I went down the street to Toyota and drove away with a smile!! Kia offered to give me $4400, but Toyota gave me $5500. And, I was approved for a car that was comparable, pricewise, to the K5. Kia didnt fight to keep me as a customer. The remark was very disrespectful. Never again will I do business with them. I didnt even want to give ONE star, but there were no other options. I have informed friends and family of my experience, and will continue to do so!! If you have time and money to waste, THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE. If thats your mission, then I believe that youll be HIGHLY satisfied. Ill use a Powerwheels scooter, with cooking oil on the tires and drive through ten feet of snow, as a mode of transportation before stepping foot on this lot again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, making remarks like, Its too much car for you, clearly shows that they really wouldnt want me to step foot on their lot again. So, I guess were on the same page, right? My denial was a blessing. Kia (not just of Greer) just lost a customer for life.

I can’t say enough about the customer service of Kia of Greer. (Buck) the manager, Brent, Gerald and Joe were amazing people to just talk to about my options if i wanted to trade in my vehicle and my future options with Kia when I was ready to upgrade.I want to give a huge thank you to Brandon in the service department. I came in with a bad catalytic converter in my Kia but he assured me that i had options since my car was under warranty and covered by a recall. He treated me with the upmost respect and everyone here at Kia of Greenville deserves my upmost respect. I went to Kia of greer 8 months pregnant and purchased a 2019 kia sorento. After driving the car for almost 3 months, I recieved a called stating something happened with the paperwork and I needed to come back down from nc. I had just had a emergency c-section and was told I needed to drive anyways. I took the car and was put into a different loaner car and mine was take from me. I was told they needed to finish the paperwork and tag work. They asked my co-signer to sign as someone else listed on title for my trade in. After 45 hard inquiries to my credit I was told without another 1000 and a 26% interest rate with 786.00 car payments I could have my car back. I refused the offer because who would except that. My car was towed back to my residents and was 3 months behind in car payments. These people are liars. They do business illegally. I contacted a lawyer but there are issues with me living in n.c. if you value your family, time, name and money. Do not do business with these people. I still have my old car and 4 children and they knew all of this. Horrible people..... Ive reached out to the better business bureau to investigate.

We got a card in the mail--see what you won. My husband pulled off the sticker, and he got the numbers/letters for $500 cash, no purchase necessary, I read the card carefully myself. He went all the way out to Greer for it. They confiscated the card and gave him a little 3watt speaker instead. Deceptive advertising!!

A big pipe dream. They lead you up to think one thing, tell you everything is good and professional, but its not. They have heavy sexist, and rascial undertones. 1/10 would not recommend from a customer or job standpoint. All they want it to take advantage of people. Ill add that i was given a hire date, told to start on 3 different days. Drug around for 3 weeks, told to quit my previous job, and then sent out the door with no compensation for my time spent.

I wish I could leave zero stars. My car was totaled 4 days ago in a hit and run so I was coming in to take a look at a Kia K5 GT Line. All of these low reviews say the same thing as what happened to me. They pressured me for about 5 hours to sign paperwork for financing a vehicle for 72 months with a payment of $475 monthly after I told them over and over that was over my budget. Mark even drew a little diagram for me to say “remember, I’m on your side” repeatedly. This dealership tries their hardest to sell you a car at any rate and does NOT care if you can afford what they try so very hard to sign you up for. The salesperson hassled me out the door five hours later. My boyfriend had to drive his car all the way up to the building just so I could actually leave. Every time I denied the offer he would point the pen at me to sign. Like didn’t I just say no? He couldn’t go any lower than the last offer which MSRP was 27k, they wanted me to pay 35k because of the unnecessary dealer add ons that I did not need. Well just so you guys know, I got the EXACT SAME CAR from Kia of Galeana in Columbia for 26,500 out the door. SCAM. But we did love the new guy Gage, he helped us test drive in the beginning. I would give him 5 stars. I was told my credit would only be ran 1 time but after seeing these reviews I’ll be keeping my eye on that as well because my credit was top notch. This business is absolutely revolting.
