The techs at this location are incredibly rude. They have a chip on their shoulder and think they know everything. The inspector has no clue about texas laws regarding inspection. I had to go to another Kwik Kar just to get my vehicle inspected. The first time I visited this location they did not reset my oil change light and they also did not give me my sticker. I had to go back. I have been using Kwik Kar in Mesquite for 3 years. Best service and super personable. When the Greenville location wouldnt inspect my vehicle, I went to the Mesquite location and they serviced it no problem. I guess whomever owns this location really does not care about profit. I definitely will not be going back there again.

How are you going to tell me that you cant do my state inspection because my windshield is cracked and say Thats following the law because we follow the law here, theres no Texas law that says you cant do an inspection because of a cracked windshield. Be Better.

Quick, reasonably priced and courteous

Normally fairly quick, but Ive been here for about 45 minutes now with no end in sight for just an oil change. Totally get that they seem short staffed, but there were only two cars here before us and we werent informed that there would be an abnormally long wait time. Had we been informed that an oil change would take over an hour, wed have opted to go elsewhere or come back a different day.

Fair prices, friendly employees. They are currently under staffed like the rest of the country, but even with only two guys working and 3 trucks ahead of me they were quick. I was told a 45 minute wait, but out of there in 20. Somebody give those guys a raise!

Dont know what happened to this company. Used to be the best in town, but now easily the worst. Every worker we saw for years is gone. The Manager Tyler is spoken poorly about and no longer here, he did my oil for 5 years!! Shame on this company for cutting good workers and replacing them with incompetents workers.

I had a horrible experience with this Kwik Kar location. I originally went in about 6 weeks ago to get an oil change & new windshield wipers. They broke my windshield and THEN told me they didn’t carry those particular blades. The manager that day was very nice and said he would replace the glass. I needed to come back the following week so the glass company could fix it. Keep in mind it’s a 1 hour commute from my house. So I go and the glass guy didn’t have every thing he needed. So he asked me to come back several weeks later, he never once offered to go to my work to fix it. He needed me to come to him on my only day off. I tried scheduling but he the only day I had available was his birthday and he didn’t want to work that day. I got upset and said we need to get a different company. Then he called back and managed to make that day work. Finally I get there today at 10am only to find out AFTER he removes my windshield that he ONCE AGAIN, doesn’t have what he needs. So I was stranded. I had to call my husband at work to come pick me up and I JUST got home at 5pm and the windshield appears to be fixed. Keep in mind that I had some VERY important events planned today that I CANNOT reschedule. My day was absolutely ruined. He had excuses and the short haired assistant manager today was Rude and completely unconcerned. I will never use this company again. Shame on me for allowing them to coordinate the repair. Horrible experience. Time and money lost that I can’t get back. - still very upset— in response to your reply: NO, I did NOT reschedule multiple times. The glass tech is incompetent and as a business owner you should take ownership of this Vs acting like it’s my fault.

All thow I only had miner work done without issue buyers be aware of potential scamming 5 customers came in for an oil change and were all told they have oil leaks that needed to be looked at. The odds of 5 cars in a row are vary unlikely

I went in for a simple oil change and they greeted with me in a very professional manner. They did not try to push me for any more services and helped me learn more about my vehicle. Brandon (the person who aided me) was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and got the work done in a timely manner. In the future I plan to go to Rory’s muffler shop to get my catalytic converter swapped out per their recommendation and that alone will keep me coming back to this shop for all my other car needs.I strongly recommend anyone with car troubles to come here and experience the welcoming environment and timely service.

I recently discovered they offer mechanic services. The mechanic on duty, Jerry, was informative, thorough, and extremely prompt with getting my vehicle repair completed and getting me back on the road. The price was more affordable than other local shops quoted, and the staff was very friendly while I waited.

Why do I need a mask when no one is in the waiting area? I was told bc of the camera. I dont think a camera can get sick. I waited outside. But good news! As long as your paying at the counter your totally safe from germs! Your not the only game in town, ease up

They were great. I actually came in thinking i had an oil leak but it was transmission fluid. The staff was able to help me figure out what was wrong when they did not have to. They also topped me off so I could make it to my mechanic. This is the second time this store has helped me over the years and is why I continue to go to them.

Stopped in to get my oil changed before a last minute trip out of state to attend my Daddys funeral. They were super nice and attentive to my time constraints. I couldnt ask for a better experience!!

I went in to have an inspection done on my vehicle not having any prior knowledge on cars. The store manager, Tyler, took a look at it and notified me promptly on the torn serpentine belt and slight coolant leak when he went to top it off. Not only did him and his team do a great job in helping correct the problems, Tyler also taught me little tips and tricks I wouldnt have known about without his help. Would definitely come here again if anymore problems arise with my vehicle.

Was in and out quickly. Went over needed maintenance which is more than my dealership ever did. The gentleman behind the counter (sorry, missed his name) is always friendly and does a great job. Highly recommend

Wife took my Jeep here while I was busy. They took advantage of here and put the wrong oil in my Jeep. They put 5w - 20w. I have always used 10w-40w synthetic in my Jeep Wrangler. They charged her full price, this is an example of a business taking advantage of an unsuspecting female. Will never do business here again and will tell everyone how they treated my wife.

WARNING!!!My 21 year old daughter who is in college took her car in for an oil change in March. They attempted to sell her 2 air filters and a system flush. Thankfully she declined and just left with the oil change.Here is the TERRIBLE news. Not long after, her air condition started leaking inside the vehicle on the floor board. Our local mechanic back home, found a brand new oil pan plug that had been inserted into the air conditioner drain line causing the condensate to back up inside the vehicle.I called Kwik Kar Lube and asked to speak with the manager. I explained what had happened and his only response was, I dont think a drain plug would fit into an AC drain line.The Kwik Kar lube technician was the last person under the vehicle prior to the plugged AC drain line being discovered. BEWARE !!!!

I can only rate them on their customer service so far because I have only been there to have my car inspection done. I have done it for years though and I have to say that their service is excellent. I have absolutely no complaints. They are very helpful. Sometimes it can be a longer wait but that is because they have many customers. But it is worth the wait time. I dont know if they take appointments but you might call them and find out.

Walter and his crew have been taking care of my truck since I received her new in 2015. On the very first service, I requested a specific oil and to please make sure to use that exact same oil (Amsoil) with each and every service, and this they have faithfully done. Walter has always watched my service schedule like a hawk and taken very good care of my truck. That truck now has 240,000 miles and still runs like shes brand new, and Im sure its due to timely maintenance from a quality team. Honest and friendly, and with good communication skills, Walter and his team stand apart from a world where integrity is no longer in style. Thanks, guys!

Not a fan of this shop. Not sure if there is an older experienced manager there, but the techs need more adult supervision. They spend a lot of time on their phones or goofing off with each other while customers are waiting. Felt like I was back in high school shop class when the teacher stepped out.After about 30 minutes, I had enough and left. Now I know why its not spelled QUICK CAR.

The only reason there is one star is because the service we saw toward other customers while we waited was decently good. Unfortunately in our case, we waited over an hour while watching 6 vehicles being pulled into the garage, all of which arrived after we did. Yes, it is understandable that they make more money off of an oil change than a state inspection, but with something as simple as an inspection that is completely routine we didnt see any reason we should have been put off that long. The inspection took 6 minutes of their time. Needless to say we wont be coming back.

They charge based on what they GUESS, like what kind of oil in in your car...without even checking.Walk in for a basic oil change, and unless youre able to fend off the aggressive, confusing sales techniques, youll walk out with a $175 bill.Think of the young women and old people who are constantly prey to people like this...they think they can trust these people, and YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM!!

I got my car inspected there 10 days ago because I fix it myself and due to the weather it took that long. Call them today so I can get the inspection done told him I understood they close at 5 but all they had to do was say that I fixed the three things. They would not wait, in my eyes crappy customer service and I will never return there for anything!

No one is challenging the importance of a safety inspection, but failing the inspection on a $120k car due to streaking windshield wipers is a sad joke. For the record, the wipers were less than a year old and in perfect condition. Went to a different business and passed inspection without any issues. Based on the other reviews, there appears to a common theme here with inspection issues.

The young guys that work there should be ashamed of themselves. I watched as they ripped off several customers that obviously knew nothing about cars. Then they tried to to rip me off saying I needed new wiper blades and air filter. I put new wiper blades on 4 months ago, and I have a lifetime K&N air filter.Carefully look at the other reviews. You will see customers consistently complaining about their scams claiming new wiper blades, air filters, more expensive oil, etc

Well it cost $80 for a oil change,(the cheaper oil, $90 for upgraded 1) and since my jeep is 4x4 it costed me another $4 the guy said. I think I will tell my wife next time to buy the oil (good oil) and Ill do it at home and save 50$ for 30 minutes of my time. They are friendly and fast...

I did not have a good experience at Kwik Car Lube of Greenville. Besides the long wait, I believe the employees try to find as many problems as possible so that they can charge customers for unnecessary maintenance. I witnessed 2 people failing their inspection for fabricated issues. In one case, it was for wiper blades. It was raining that day and one gentleman showed that the wiper blades work just fine. I saw it for myself.After he left, I heard the employees tell jokes about him.I found this to be very unprofessional and disrespectful. I just got up and left. I will not be returning. I will make sure my adult children that live in Greenville do not do business here either.Good day.

The one in Royse City is better. Full service my butt. They dont check your tires or top off the washer fluid etc etc.

Originally gave kwik Kar 1 star, the employee quoted me 59.95 for a 2005 malibu 4cyl / conventional oil change, super easy...I got it for 29.95 close by. Ive changed my rating to a neutral 3 stars, because the owner or manager respond to me and said the issue will be addressed, that shows someone cares about the business & customer satisfaction... Everyone deserves a chance to make it right!! Ill give Kwik Kar another chance in about 2000 more miles. THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE!!!!

Super fast, no hard sells, very friendly. Also, you get a free car wash with every oil change (at the Kwik Kar Spa down the street) and IF they find an oil leak, you can drop by any time youre within the 3000 mileage sticker they put on your window and theyll top you off, free!

Very very upset!!! Took my car to get it inspected today. Didnt have to wait but maybe thirty minutes BUT... They inspected my car,came in and told me EVERYTHING looked fine except my wiper blades. I asked how much they were I said o.k to the 13.99 each ones. He went out and came back 8n and said all he had was the 20 $ Ines. I said no way I would just go somewhere else and buy them and put them on. He acted like I was being cheap but everyone is on a budget not just me. Nevertheless I came back. Walked in and handed him my keys to pull it back in. He handed me my paperwork instead and said no I was good to go.(keep in mind everything on my vehicle was loud at tires and all and passed. (His words )just a few hours after leaving there I had a flat. Was going down the road and my low tire pressure light came on. Within 5 minutes I had a flat. Pulled over. Changed the tire and looked at it after I got home to see what was in it. There was nothing at all. THE TIRE WAS BALLED ON THE INSIDE ALL THE WAY AROUND AND WIRES WERE STICKING OUT ALL THE WAY AROUND ALSO. WHAT??? THEY INSPECTED MY CAR. LOOKED AT THE TIRES BU5 YET I HAD A FLAT?!?! THERE IS NO WAY THEY LOOKED AT THAT TIRE BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN THE WIRES AND HOW BALD IT WAS ON THE WHOLE THING ON INSIDE EDGE. THEY WERE TOO INTERESTED IN SELLING ME 40_ WIPERS TO PAY ATTENTION TO DOING A PROPER INSPECTION ON MY CAR! DO NOT RECOMMEND YOUR SERVICE TO ANYONE AND I NEVER WILL! I HAD TO CHANGE A FLAT IN THE DARK ON THE ROAD THAT BOLES HOME IS ON AND YOU ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE KNOW HOW DARK IT IS. Vvery very scary so shame on you for worrying more about making a profit that doing the job that was supposed to be done e(A Safety Inspection). You fail miserably in my opinion and Im sure others will too. Thanks for nothing!!!
