I really hate its come to this but I refuse to let this man rip me off about my car! This man has been holding my car since Nov. 21,2017. He contacted me Nov. 21 explaining he didnt have to get a new bumper he was able to fix mine, he only had to repaint the back end of my car, and replace my seatbelts. At that time my check to pay him from the insurance company hadnt came. Mr. Rhyant said wait til after the holiday.My check ended up coming the next day but he was out of town for Thanksgiving. November 27,2017 I get a call from the insurance company saying James Rhyant (guy I video) had been contacting them looking for the check they wanted to make sure I got it. Told them yes. Contacted Mr. Rhyant told him I had my check and asked how much was my invoice. He said he doesnt give out invoices 🤔🤔. I asked how do you expect to get paid? He says bring him$2500 and I can get my car 😕😕 Im not the brightest crayon in the box but I know refurbishing a bumper, painting the back end of a car, changing seatbelts, and labor aint $2500!! I dont mind giving him $2500 however I need receipts and invoices showing you did $2500 worth of work. He refuses to give me either one! So I refuse to pay him $2500 . Now hes saying hell give me a WRITTEN invoice 😕😕 NO SIR!! I contacted my adjuster and we calculated what I should be paying based off his estimateSeatbelts-$279/ a pieceBumper repair- $400 +$25 (paint)Labor- $44.32/hour (according to the paperwork hes only did 7.1 out of the 18.6 they have written down)All that adds up to $1297.61This man thinks Im dumb!!!I dont know much about cars but I know numbers and I know business!!
