After taking in my truck to get an AC recharge and an alignment I went to pick up my truck and found a half smoked cigarette in my truck door. I don’t smoke so it definitely wasn’t mine. I took it inside and told them that someone left this in my truck. Brandon ended up coming out to apologize and to reassure me that no one smoked inside. But the damage is already done. My truck reeks of smoke and I lost trust in them. I looked at your yellow page and saw nothing but great reviews but now I sadly have to post this review. If it weren’t for the lack of trust in them I would give them 4 stars due to taking 2 days to do an alignment and AC recharge.

My family & I have been going here for years. Ever since they have been under new management they are not worth your time. First incident: they scheduled me on a day they weren’t even open?? Second: I made an appointment for 10 am for an oil change, should take 30 mins to an hour, right? 3 hours later I call them and they tell ME I never made an appointment. Even though when i walked in and said “hey I have an appointment” and they guy took me in like I did.

Went in for an inspection. Just needed windshield wipers. Let them replace. Fast service, very nice, a lot better than other local shops who just didn’t make the time for a simple inspection. Thank you!

I really wanted to like these guys but theyve made it hard. Id read good reviews about them here and they sounded pretty good.I took my truck in about 5 or 6 weeks ago for A/C service and asked them to do an inspection service also.A few days later, I went to register my vehicle on-line and got the message that I had not had the vehicle inspected. I called them back at Auto Doc, and they said they would take care of it.Another week or so goes by and I still cant register. Called them again and they said theyd take care of it. Even verified my vehicle information.I just now tried to register and still no inspection on record.To cap it off, Ive not received a call or text from them as to whether or not theres a problem.Truly a shame. Finding a good garage is like finding a good barber, lawyer, or accountant. You usually stick with them for as long as theyre around.Im giving 3 stars because the A/C service was good.

This place is no good anymore! The new owner gouges prices!!!! When Larry and Cheryl had this place, it was always a nice small town feel, and they made me feel like family. Not this new guy, he is very rude, very loud, and just from the change in employees should tell anyone anything! He has run off all the good help! Kim was the best! very honest, very friendly, and knew how to talk to customers! I was so glad to see her there every since Larry brought her on. I hated hearing last week when I went in that she was gone. Lucky for me I have her cell number, and now will be going to the shop she is at now. I will spread the word of where she is now to everyone at L3 and at our next Chamber meeting. Good luck to anyone who still goes here thinking it is still the Auto Doc it used to be! It is noting like it used to be!

Went in for front end alignment. Was told tires were out of round and should be replaced; was also told gas tank was leaking and must be replaced. Repair quote was over $1K. I went to Discount Tires, who sold me the tires. Their computer balance check showed a simple balance weight was needed, which they added at no cost! Car drives great!! Then went to a locally owned and established garage for the gas tank check. The tank was Not leaking. The fuel pump was. They replaced the fuel pump, an inexpensive repair. My car is fine! Not sure about the mis-diagnosis?? Want to sell tires when not needed? Want to do a major repair (gas tank) rather than a minor one (fuel pump).

I emailed them my vehicle info to set up an appointment. I arrived a few minutes early. They printed my ticket then the mechanic test drove my vehicle. After having it 45min I was told their equipment was not big enough to handle it. Seems since its a 2000 ford F250 4x4 I would not have been the first one they had ask for alignment. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.NOTE I had a friend that took a vehicle to them they charged him for replacing a drive axle and didnt replace it. The new one was still in his trunk when he picked up the vehicle that he dropped of for them to fix.He found out when he took the vehicle to another shop because they said it was the transmission not the drive axle. Replaced the drive axle and his vehicle ran great.These are facts not just trash talk.Decide if you want to chance it. Some say they are great, myself find another shop.

I will never go back to this place! Overpriced and not very friendly. I went in a couple weeks ago The guy that tried to help me didnt know what he was talking about. He tried to sell me stuff that had already been done to my car. I now have a new shop I am going to. Be cautious if you try them out. After debating posting this review, I read a few of the low rated reviews, and looks like others are catching on too. This place use to be good, but not now under this new owner.

This is the best auto shop in Texas hands down!I live in Plano and my family is in Greenville.I have taken my truck to them numerous times because they are always honest and take the time to explain everything that needs to be done.I was stranded on the way to work (in Plano) and called Kim who walked me through what could be wrong. After she diagnosed it over the phone she helped me find the nearest shop to get to.Once I got to the other shop they took my truck back to the bay, came back 10 min later and told me you radiator is bad and it would be $1000 to fix. I immediately called Kim and told her what they said she asked me to ask them a (to me) pretty simple mechanical question. They guy looked at me like I had 6 heads and then told me again your radiator needs to be replaced.To say that I have anxiety when it comes to mechanics is an understatement. I feel that they take advantage of women because of lack knowledge. Sad but true statement.I was still on the phone with Kim she told me that she was going to send someone in her own personal vehicle to come take a look at it and see if it was safe to drive to Greenville so they could fix it. I mean who does that?!?Kim goes above and beyond for her customers! She is an absolute asset to Auto Doc and they are beyond lucky to have her! Never let her go!!!

This place is not the same! The new owner is making too many big town changes! This is small town Greenville, not California! Bring the face of Auto Doc (Beth) back to the front counter, not this rude obnoxious guy that was up there last week. Every time I have gone up there the past few months, it is worse. I love Kim and Beth, but not sure that I will be back unless I hear they are back up front and greeting me at the counter.

I had just left a national chain tire and brake shop and they had quoted me way too high. I was upset and headed home when I saw auto doc on the road so I told my wife to turn in there. It’s a family owned place and the owners actually live on the property! I thought that was great enough along with the customer service, which could not be beat! My small daughter just made herself at home in the waiting room with toys provided by the receptionist, who was just like family it seemed as well. Getting to the service of my truck, the mechanic did a great job on a whole new set of back drum brakes and he was fast! I have had zero problems and perfect stopping since my visit. And the cost was just about half of what the other guys quoted me! I’m so happy with Auto Doc and the staff, they helped ease my tension and completed the full service without any headache at half the cost I was earlier quoted! Bottom line, Go there! You will not be sorry!

NOT honest. I took my car in, we assumed it needed a new alternator as it had trouble starting. We should have NEVER said that, and was hoping that the professionals could let us know what it needed. I asked for them to run tests and let me know. Several hours later, he calls to tell me that it needed an alternator. I said go ahead and replace, they did. Then less than a week later, where we werent even home, my car does the EXACT same thing. I contacted Auto Doc, and never heard back. I am sure this review will get a response. They conveniently have Facebook set up where things wont post unless they approved by them... HA. Well, turns out these dishonest people didnt need to replace my alternator, it was my battrey. Thats what I get for trying to find another mechanic closer. SO, almost $700 worth of work was done that wasnt even needed. I find it VERY unprofessional not to answer my calls, lets see how fast this post gets a response. I will NEVER go here again. The new guy here doesnt know anything about cars and I believe only sells things that he things will make him more money. By me saying I thought it needed an alternator, i think he just thought easy sell for this lady. Ladies be aware!!! this shop will take advantage of you

I think it is messed up that if the owner doesnt like a review, he can have it removed. My husband posted a review about my last visit here and it was removed. I have contacted google with a screenshot of what he posted, which was within guidelines and I will be sending this one too. These people suggest things that you dont need, even things that you just recently had one. Its no wonder their review average stays high if they are able to remove bad reviews. I will also be posting this on Yelp and on my facebook, along with my husbands post that got removed. Get the word out!!!

It was my first time using Auto Doc. They worked on a very difficult electrical problem on my pick up. Everything worked great, and it only took a couple of hours. Their charges were also very reasonable. I was very satisfied with their excellent and friendly customer service.

I was dreading getting my vehicle repaired. I had an estimate from the dealer that was $$$$. I searched online and found the Auto Doc and scheduled to have my vehicle serviced and some diagnostics done. The owner/repair person kept me informed at each step of the repair process. Long story short, my vehicle is running better than it has in months and for a VERY reasonable price. I’ve found “my” service center in the Greenville area!

I just went there on Friday, went in with a banging noise, it turned out that I had a bolt in my tire, thats it, I had a big head, so every time it hit the ground, It made a banging noise, thank God they are honest. I will be back in the future. Brandon was great.

Man, these guys are wonderful, honest and do good work. I highly recommend them if you want a great job.

**** edit - 08 October 2019 - we have tried leaving reviews and even filed complaints with the state and the BBB. No response. Looks like small claims court it is. Hope you enjoy traveling to Texas from California.While Kim has been very professional and clearly upset by our complaints, her inability to do anything about it (whether by her choice or the directive of the new owner that lives in California) leaves us with no other choice than to leave a review detailing the problems we had. Whether or not you will have them, well... you roll the dice.We brought them our older PT Cruiser last summer after having a blowout on the side of the road due to the tire wearing out on the inside edge which was caused by worn out front suspension issues. We checked around to see who was likely going to have a mechanic that could do a good diagnostics and settled on Auto Doc because of the review about the old owner (didnt know it had been sold) being very honest and reliable and the fact that the place looks very nice, not your typical nasty, greasy mechanic shop. Brought them the car and asked for a solid diagnostic to see what all needed to be repaired to decide if the car was worth spending the money on, or if it should just be put to rest. They came back with a thousand dollars (give or take) worth of repairs and when I asked, specifically, if that covered everything, I was told yes, that will make the car safe to be on the road again, but you will need two new tires and an alignment.6 months later, I notice a clunking noise in the front end and was told by the tire shop when I went to get two new tires for the back of the car that the new strut wasnt installed correctly and that was what the noise was. they also pointed out that the new tires I had just bought on the front end were worn very badly, one on the inside past the safety bar and on the right the same, but on the outside edge of the tire. I called Kim and she was very pleasant and said I should bring the car in to have it looked at, so we did. After they looked at it, they said it wasnt the strut, but a few other parts under the front end that would cost another 1500.00 (give or take) to replace and then another alignment and two more new tires. I said no, not going to spend more money on this car and I was then charged over a hundred dollars for the inspection/diagnostic, which is ironic, because I had already paid for the same 6 months prior and they didnt find anything then. Seems to me that this is a game where they knew I would have said no to the cost to repair originally and figured they could just string me along, bit by bit.Suffice it to say, I was NOT happy. I asked why wasnt this addressed when the car had been first inspected? Had I known there was more that needed repair, I wouldnt have bothered. The car isnt worth as much as the repairs would cost and I said as much. She couldnt tell me why it wasnt addressed and just said that sometimes parts wear out, but when asked why the original diagnostics didnt state that there was significant wear and the parts would need attention soon, she said she didnt know, but that she couldnt do anything about it.I took it to another mechanic to see what their thoughts on it were and they stated that I was right, I was either owed money back for the original diagnostics that wasnt performed correctly (no mechanic worth his salt could have missed the torn and missing rubber bushings, boots and wear that was showing) or some kind of compensation for having performed work without properly informed consent. I contacted Kim again and asked for a detailed printout of the work they had done, she was pleasant enough, but as of this review, 2 months later, I still have received nothing from them. I expect I wont either and Im quite certain they are concerned about the consequences at this point of being dishonest.Be warned, this company isnt interested in anything other than how much money they can squeeze you for.

I just used Auto Doc for the first time and I was amazed by the service. I called to see if I could drop off my car to be fixed and even though the technician said he was booked the next day, he would squeeze it in. I dropped it off first thing in the morning and got a call back by noon! The guy who worked on it called me himself and was very honest and upfront with me. These are good guys!

Brought my car here for a custom alignment. They did a great job aligning it to my specs, and even gave me the printout showing the final alignment numbers. They also have amsoil and cheap oil changes!

Can I give these people more stars, what an awesome place, as a lady, I always worry about going to repair shop, but the people here made me feel so comfortable, they addressed my issue, gave me a price which at first I though that it was too high until I took it somewhere else to a second opinion, I came back to Auto Doc to get the work done.

I came here one day with no appointment ahead of time and I was worked in just fine. The service was great and still preformed in a timely manner on my short notice. It was nice to have WiFi available while I waited, too.

We took our truck in to fix they told us 3 different things wrong told us 700 to fix, we said ok fix...they call us the next day and say oh the bolt broke off and broke in a part and now it costs 700 more for you to fix. NOW they do have a picture and the truck is older 2001 with a little over 70,000 miles because its driven and owned by an 88 year old, YES there was alot of rust under there,so ANY good mechanic would have known looking at that much rust there was a possibility of the bolt breaking off, they shouldve stopped called us asked us if we wanted to take a chance on that bolt breaking AND how much it would cost if it did...there were also ways to soak that bolt for a day or so so it POSSIBLY wouldve came out easier. NOPE they broke and held us responsible to pay OR if not have to tow the truck out of there disassembled and not running for hundreds dollars, we drove the truck in there running, we just picked it up it was 999.99 and 840.00 was labor charge and we did not get the other parts they claim were broke as well fixed , this was the worst choice we couldve made taking it here we only picked them because they were chosen # 1 in Hunt County in the paper. I would definitely think twice before taking your car to them.

A nice family like atmosphere with a small but clean and pleasant waiting room. Ive been several times and each mechanic that provided service seemed knowledgeable and very competent.

I needed my wheel studs replace and they knocked it out in a day. They were very busy but I picked my car up the next morning no problem.

I dont know anything about cars, so I need someone I can trust, someone to tell me the truth, what my car needs for repairs and for regular maintenance based on what my book says without going to the dealer, thanks to my sister, I found Auto Doc, great people, prices that are much cheaper than the dealer, they tell me what my car needs based on mileage or worn out. I just went there for the first time, I wasnt sure what to expect, I didnt want to get taken advantage of, what a surprise, they were amazing, I thought I needed brakes because of a rubbing noise I kept hearing, it turns out that is was a plastic piece that I dragged, once they lifted up the car, they saw it, removed it and didnt even charge me. WOW. I am a fan.

Auto Doc does a great job. Their customer service is excellent, their technicians are experts, and they always work fast so that you can get your car back in a timely manner.

Took my truck in for diagnostic check Tuesday. Charged $105 thats NOT included in total price if I had them fix the problem! NOT included? I complained & they agreed to waive it. Got the estimate... $1300 for new fuel injector, plug wires, labor & MAYBE have it done by Friday. $1300!! Called other mechanics and looked for parts online then realized the price for these parts quoted was rather high. Didnt do the repairs there & drove it strait to GAINES AUTOMOTIVE in CADDO MILLS, 15 min away. Shane was awesome! Took less then 1 day, found out it was the distributor NOT the fuel injector, found some leaks in old hoses & didnt charge me for the diagnostic!! Total cost... $274!! My truck purs like a kitten! I would NOT recommend Auto Doc... Go to GAINES AUTOMOIVE!!!UPDATE 10-15-19...Absolutely NO issues with my truck. No fuel injector probs stated by Auto Doc. No probs with what Gaines Auto fixed!!! To me, thats a very strong statement..no matter how long you have been in business

Wow. Larry and team at AutoDoc have always taken care of me and my family. We had 4 different types of vehicles and they were able to service them all. I have been impressed with not only the quality of the repairs but the integrity of the people. I highly recommend AutoDoc.

I purchased my Mitsubishi Lancer used and I came across a couple problems. I have been taking my previous cobalt ss there and they always took care of that. Well anyway they replaced my clutch on my Lancer and they charged a reasonable price and I even had them give it a tune up. They are right in line compared to other shops where my friends go to.

Love this place. They gave me a quote on a repair and I OKd the $250 repair. They called to tell me it was as bad as expected and it would only be $50. Not many places would do that especially after having the OK!

Air Condition leaking coolant, not an easy find. The first time fix did not hold. Took it back told them to keep it until fixed. They kept it four days fixed a couple of leaks and watch it for several days. I picked it up today with zero charge. These people care and do a great job.
