UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! This beauty supply is amazing. They will answer any questions that you have about products and they are willing to learn more about what the customers would like to see in the store. It’s very neat, organized, variety, and spaced out. You have to wear a mask when in the store which is amazing considering our current conditions. Super nice people and they truly care about the customers.

This beauty supply store is under new management and the new owners are very friendly. New owner Sook went out of her way to find products for me. Store is very clean and organized COVID ready. You have to wear a mask to go in the store which makes sense considering todays climate. Strongly recommend this store.

This particular beauty supply store is small. The array of products are small and outdated . The customer service is subpar. It is nothing to brag about but was not terrible either. If you just need some braiding hair then this is a fine place to go but if you are looking for a wig , specific products etc I wouldn’t recommend.

Im from Boston came to visit my family in Greensboro NC. Went to the Wigs Plus Beauty. An my nephew is. 7yrs old. He kept touching things in the store . He wasnt hurting or. damaging anything. An the owner yelled at my nephew. My nephew was really shook up. My sister and I yelled at the owner. His wife also yelled at him. We put what we WERE going buy back and walked out the store. We went to Twin plaza to get our hair . Never going back to their again . They dont deserve any stars.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! This place is horrible. They have the worse customer service. I made a special trip from Roanoke, Va to a few wig shops including this one in the Greensboro area. Two employees were in the front of the store when I walked in. I went to the back of the store where the wigs were. I browsed around back there for about 20 minuets. Then I saw a wig I wanted to try on. I stood there waiting for help, trying to get the employees attention, because I had a few questions. No one came. So, I took the wig off of the mannequin head to try on. One of the female employee that was in the front ran to me YELLING at me very hostile “YOU CAN’T DO THAT! DO NOT TOUCH THE WIGS! CAN YOU READ!” and pointed to a small sign that was on a table behind me that was VERY unnoticeable (a little bigger that an index card). I told her I didn’t see that small sign and they needed a bigger sign, because that was my first time in there and where I live customers can try on any wig by themselves with no assistance. She asked where I was from. I told her Roanoke, Va. She told me to go back there and shop then. That other customers that was in there told the employee “Yes, there are a few wig shop in this area that let you try wigs on without assistance.” A male employee came from the back. She argued with him and told him he was supposed to have been out the helping customers.... The thing is, I understand they have rules. That there business, but you should NEVER talk to customers like that. Just tell them “ Ma’am, I’m sorry, but our policy states that we have to assist you with trying on our wigs.” Simple as that. Why do we continue to support these stores :( Never again will I step a foot in this store..... All of the other wig shops I went to in the area had great customer service.

I went in to buy 10 pairs of earring for gifts. And I was standing right in front of the checkout counter with a gentleman watching and helping me. I wanted all 10 pairs of the same type, but they did not have them. So I picked up a couple of different pairs to look at more closely, with my hands and the earrings right on top of the counter in clear sight.An older female came running up, pushed the male employee out of the way and essentially grabbed the earrings out of my hands!!! And mind you, these were only $3.99 a pair-NOT expensive at all! I was so taken back that I left immediately to come and post a review here. And wow-I see a review below where someone *that worked there* with her said that she profiles everyone and acts like everyone is going to steal. THAT WAS EXACTLY *IT*!!! Others below also reiterate this behavior in their reviews. People like this have NO BUSINESS OWNING/running a company. I wish I could give this place MINUS (-5) stars. Unless you want your feelings hurt while handing over your hard earned cash, GO SOMEWHERE-ANYWHERE-ELSE!

I dont understnd why there are so many negative reviews. Me and my mom have been coming here for years and the lady is always nice to us maybe because she knows us so well. The location is perfect and everything is clean and organized. They also have a good selection of wigs and price is good.

Management was extremely rude to us. They made us feel uncomfortable and they were very racist. They need to fix their attitude if their going to get any business. We are definitely not going back!

Ladies do not go here! I tried twice just to give them a chance and it was no go! I wanted to see some wigs and his comment was only buy no play and he walked away not knowing I was going on a trip and wanted multiple wigs so I pulled out my money then they were so nice then I left the second time buying products for my daughter he watched me the whole time and when I was deciding if I wanted to pay cash or credit she tried to force me to pay with cash so again I just walked out.

It has very nice selection of hair products, and more. Management must think that every person of color is a thief by the way they move around whenever I shop there. I always felt uncomfortable there, regarding the way management conducts themselves whenever I enter the store which isnt that often.

Very very very good business. Maybe before they were horrible at customer service but theyve gotten wayyy better. Awesome attitudes and was both a big help. I called hours before i could get there and spoke to a women who helped me tremendously she even held my hair behind the counter til i got there and after I brought the hair she gave me a free gift. This place is HORRIBLE ..... Today I went there and I brought a great amount of stuff for my daughter and I. I went to check out and I noticed they had charged more for an item that I was purchasing . I quickly asked , wait how much was that !! The price tag was missing but the man ASSUMED that it was the price he stated .... Never once did he go and check it out it just knew the price was 5.99 until I corrected them!! I don’t trust them at all ... I will never go back here . I guess they think that people don’t pay attention to their money !!!! Very rude people and I don’t advise ANYONE to EVER go to this place !!!!

If you want good service and the wig you asked for don’t go here! Me and my sister in law went to get her a wig for her 20th anniversary the guy was extremely rude and also gave us the wrong wig! We went to just ask if we could exchange it bc it was his fault they said NO, it was still in the package never worn had receipt! I will NEVER go back worst experience I have ever had

If I could give a negative star I would!! This place of “business” is terrible! I went in yesterday & bought a wig. The wig on the mannequin has lovely texture & was so smooth!! So I couldn’t help but purchase. I was told the hair could curl & made me even more excited. Long story short, I went back the next day & told them that the wig i purchased was NOT the same. Not only did they get extremely rude, the husband (part owner of the store) told me to get out! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY HERE!! They are money hungry, lazy & do NOT know how to run a business. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bereau on these SCAMMERS!

The owner is actually very nice to me. She gives discounts on things if you pay with cash. Her and her husband we bad with customer service at first but they are much better now. I have seen her on bad days, they can be picky about their wigs but everyone has rules its ok. Very helpful. Store is a bit on the small side compared to others in the area.

The worst customer service I have ever received! The owner, female, was rude and demanded the male in the store not communicate with me. I went in wi TH my daughter because they were looking for wigs for a competition. She barely spoke and pnly acknowledged us after we began touching the wigs. I will advise everyone not to shop here, they do not value the no money we bring to their business.

If you are taking too long looking around I guess they think you are trying to steal especially if you’re black they will follow you and watch you. Hair selection isn’t as good as the supply store on West Gate they have everything you could want and more.

I stopped going here last year because they are so rude. I went in today to purchase a $1.79 make-up sponge. I had purchased one 2 days before. It was the wrong one. So I went back to purchase the right one. I tried to open it. She started screaming no, no! I said its ok I am going to buy it whether it is the right one or not. BC I wanted touch it. This mean, hateful and unappreciative store owner snatched it out of my hand; ripped the package open, threw the sponge on the floor; I said why did you do that I told you I was going to pay for it? Her exact words were: It is my sponge I can do whatever I want with it...You wanna open you ask me..pointed her finger and said get another one It took every thing in me to walk out of the store without snatching a knot in her. I have spent hundreds of dollars in this store. 95% of their inventory is for minorities. The store would not exist if we didnt spend our money there. I say we boycott them....I work to hard for my money to be treated this way!!!!!!!

The worst customer service ever. I will never come back to this place. There was an old woman at the counter and and old man sitting and they were arguing the entire time. The old man got up and started walking around (still shouting and arguing with the woman) and I walked up to him to ask him a question and he continued to argue with the woman and didnt even acknowledge my presence. He even walked away from me and I was standing right in front of him. Once he stopped arguing and gave me the chance to talk to him, I asked him the price of a wig and he said idk and shrugged his shoulders like it was of no concern of his. He made no effort to try and figure out the price. After that I just walked out. I will gladly take my business to the east side of GSO to other beauty supply stores who treat you much better. Never again will I set foot in this place and I dont recommend that you do either. Also the quality of hair that they provide (synthetic and real) is terrible and cheap. Save your time and stay away.

Ive been coming to this beauty supply store for years with my mom and my aunt. the lady who works there is always nice to us and they always have everything were looking for. if you cant find something, tell them, and theyll make sure to order it for you!

WORST experience I’ve ever had at a beauty supply store. I went despite the reviews hoping for something better & was sorely disappointed. I was told that I cannot try on any of the wigs because I have too much hair, and the man at the store walked around us as though we would steal. They also mocked my mother & I as we were leaving the store. Horrible, horrible experience. I will never return. This place needs to be shut down, honestly. We should not give them a dime of our money.

As i read the comments im like wow... But my experience has never been bad... Yes, they stare you down and make you a little uncomfortable, but overall i found a new brand that had just been shipped in... I called the lady over to help since she was staring so damn hard... But it was a really good quality of synthetic barrel curled hair... I made a wig from the hair.. And it has lasted a good 2 1/2 - 3 weeks with maintenance of course... :)

This establishment should not be open if things can’t be touched and even looked at smh!!! I drive 30 mins vs 5 mins to this store for better customer service and to be treated like a human being.

I’ve been in this store twice and will never go back again. I was followed around the store by the male employee who was pretending to look at products/“clean”. I would literally walk to another aisle on the other side of the store just to see if they would follow and sure enough they did. DON’T GO HERE!

I have never felt so uncomfortable in a wig store before. I was approached by 2 different salespersons that were rude and infomed me not to touch the wigs. I didnt stay in the store long, purchased a wig cap, and went to another wig store that had exceptional customer service.

THEY ARE RACIST! They followed me around the store watching from 2 feet away and when I would touch anything as soon as I walked away they wiped it off or fixed it like I put it back wrong. I dont even know where to start. I started working there in august and in the beginning it was great. Then as the days went by i realized that the business was good but the people who are running it are rude. They dont let people shop at ease and they profile every single person that walks in the store. They make people feel uncomfortable and as an employee my job is supposed to be making customers feel welcomed but that was something that they dont do there. They profile everyone thinking that they wanna steal but sometimes people just come in just to check it out if theyre not buying anything. The lady is very rude to customers and i think that is not the way your supposred to run a business she would always tell me YOU WATCH CUSTOMER! in front of the customer. I usually buy here with my mother, it is a good place you find all kinds of articles and accessories, hats, makeup, etc. the owners of the place are wonderful people, very kind and attentive, they are always cordial and they welcome you with a smile, they make you feel like home, and the prices are affordable.
