The employees seem nice and we like shopping here but 2 years ago we were in need of a dishwasher. We went here because we wanted to try somewhere new. The installation people were nice and we thought we had bought a quality Maytag appliance. A week ago the dishwasher started to make strange noises and then I noticed a black soot on white colored dishes. I called the Best Buy number and they said a repair provider would call back and to call them if that didnt happen. It didnt happen so I called back and they said they were going to issue the cost we paid for the appliance but we would have to pay for the installation of a new dishwasher. Two years ago it was $160 so it is costly. They also said I need a verification code to get our money which they said would take 3 business days. Today I decided to wipe what I thought was detergent from the bottom of the machine near where I put plates and pans and the picture below is what came up- black soot and pieces of metal. Ive been cleaning my dishes in this dishwasher and feeding my family with dishes contaminated with black metal debris and metal pieces. I do not recommend buying appliances at Best Buy and I do not recommend Maytag. Ive never had an appliance do this before and this is a health crisis. I would just like my verification code now so we can get a new dishwasher immediately, as my family and I have been eating metal and we didnt know it.

At this point, not happy at all with my experience. Buying stove was easy..great there. It was delivered and had 3 damaged areas. Was offered 10% off which is nothing for 3 problem areas, no thanks. Was offered to be able to keep stove until new one arrived and did that. Was told would get call back next day (Friday). It is Tuesday and no callback. Also followed directions to preheat and use for 1 hr before cooking food. The back burner was so hot and burner was not turned on. This is dangerous! Still waiting for callback so I tried to call this morning. On hold so gave my callback number. This is very poor experience...will see if I get the callback!

Great experience today!Went to buy a fridge, and helped by a salesperson called Mike K, who knew a lot about the features of all the items I inquired about.He was courteous, not pushy but supportive to my needs for a fridge, and I decided to purchase one.Options for installation, delivery and hauling the old fridge and financing were extremely favorable!Great to shop at a convenient place, with ample time to decide, getting good service, esp from someone as experienced as Mike! We came in, looking for a smaller Smart TV and a laptop. There was a man that helped us near the TVs but he was about to leave. Told us they were short on staff and would try to send someone over to help us. The TV we wanted was small enough so my husband just grabbed it and we walked over to the laptop area. I think there was 2 staff in that area, but they were already helping customers. We found 1 we liked within 5 minutes, and grabbed that as well and headed to the registers. We were in and out within 25 minutes. We waited just a couple minutes to check out, the man at the register was nice and we were on our way in just a couple minutes.

We wanted to go in store to purchase a computer. There is in store shopping allowed. Very limited on in stock computers. Even online many sold out. Got a monitor and headphones while shopping and placed order online for the computer to ship to the house. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant.

Ill be honest I had no other choice but to go to Best Buy for my purchase and was not looking forward to it. In the past, employees may have said hello...But thats about it.BUT I have now gone back a few times, and there seems to have been a big change in the staff. Ive had several people ask me if I needed help, and everyone was friendly when checking out items. Well done Best Buy!!!

My recent visit to Best Buy was great. The customer service I received from Rai in the computer department was second to none. The information she provided me helped make my decision purchasing the right computer. She also escorted me to other sections in the store as needed.Connor also assisted me with the other associates in the T.V. department and they helped me to the correct Sony which I purchased. Geek Squad continues to solve all my computer problems. I have used their services for years and its well worth the money. They usually get your laptop in quick for services. At times they can access your computer remotely and solve the issue. Either way, they have never to resolve my computer problems!

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life!! The sales people and geek squad LIE THRU THEIR TEETH and then you cant get anyone to help you when you have issues with the products they lied to you about. I have been trying to speak to a manager for 5 days and over 8 hours being bounced from one person to another only to be disconnected over and over again. WHATEVER CHANGED IN THE LAST FEW YEARS WITH YOU SUCHS, I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A BEST BUY AGAIN!

The staff was great. The front guy at the entrance who is supposed to be just a greeter and direct them to the return line knew his stuff. Needed a UPS 20 minutes till closing and he pointed me right to it! Checkout also handling returns also was questionable until the checker returned one item and sold him the upgrade he already had somehow. This is still the reason to have great brick and mortar stores when immediate need and customer service is required. Thanks for the save guys and gals!

This place does not deserve 1 star 11 days ago I walked in to buy a computer. After talking to an employee I decided to bring my computer in to have GeekSquad fix the lagging and no WiFi connection. Four trips to the store, little to no communication, at least 30 minute wait times (with an appointment), and an 18 minute hold time trying to call the store in which I was told “they are working on it is all I can tell you” and my computer is still lagging and will not connect to WiFi. I’m on what I hope to be my last visit trying to pick up my computer and it’s been 1 hour since I arrived….he’s on the phone possibly trying to get me a refund but I’m not really sure since employees/managers only talk amongst themselves failing to tell me what’s happening.Will they refund the $238.08 they charged me so far????……TBC…

Went there to upgrade stereo in my grand caravan, was happy with the selection and the not upselling pushes from out places, installed double din deck and kicker 6x9. Installer was very knowledgeable and customer friendly with honesty and not charging for work not done that was initially paid for due to type of install.

The store is clean and the staff is friendly. On my visit yesterday afternoon, there were no staff available to help in the area I needed help in. On this mornings visit, the correct staff person was present, but the item I found on the website is on back order without an ETA and there is no waiting list for the item. It would be nice if the staff were cross-trained to multiple areas so they could have told me yesterday that the item was unavailable.

They were very helpful when I bought my computer monitor and when I had to bring it back because it wasn’t working right. Every employee asked if needed anything and asked if they could help me find what I needed. They pointed me in the right direction and walked with me to meet the other employee that could help me with my needs. Love that Best Buy. Prices could be cheaper but who doesn’t want cheaper prices.

I ordered a dishwasher for my mom from best buy. My mom is a diabetic so she waited four and a half almost 5 hours on June 8th waiting for them to deliver this dishwasher. Finally we had to call Best buy to find out where our dishwasher was. They stated that the gentleman had gotten hurt on the job. So my question to the lady was you dont have time to make a courtesy call to let people know that the dishwasher wasnt going to be delivered? The lady gave me 101 excuses as to why we wouldnt be able to get our dishwasher now for another 2 weeks. So when we asked for a refund she said she could not do a refund on the dishwasher! So we asked for supervisor and the lady had to repeat herself literally and I am not kidding when I say this she literally had to repeat herself five times and we had to tell her every time we got what she was saying. So then she stated that it could take up to 30 to 45 days to get the refund! I will never ever ever ever buy anything from Best buy again I will go personally to shop for something and pick it up the same day instead of ordering! Best buy youre a joke and if you keep your customer service up the way you do you will never have any more customers! Ive been a manager and Im sorry if this situation had happened at a place where I work I would personally take responsibility for that and either ask the customer to either come pick up the item from us or I would personally go and deliver that item for that person because you guys say you guarantee your delivery! You guys are liars you didnt guarantee it and as far as my services Im no longer going to shop there and I have a mouth and Im going to make sure that everybody knows how bad your company is this is the worst customer service Ive ever had in my life and Im 46 years old Ive been through a lot of customer service. Horrid customer service provided by Best Buy as a company. Attempted to call local store, not taking phone calls. Get sent to national customer service. Rep says sure you can modify an order for pick up. Place order, not able to modify. Call customer service again. Im sorry sir, but we cannot do that 23 min and the solution provided is not possible in the next sentence out of their mouth. Asked them to provide a number that I could speak to someone at the store. Unable to provide any number. Asked to speak to supervisor, was placed on hold for 22 min and the same person came back on the phone. New solution would cause a fraud alert from CC company. Ask again for supervisor or talk to the store nothing....currently on this phone call for 54 min

I have been doing curbside pick up which makes it a lot easier to.pick up last minute gifts. The associates came out quickly with my package. I was not expecting this because the store was not open yet and the lot was full and a long line was forming waiting for the store to open. If you choose curbside pick up,they offer pick up before e the store is even open. Check times in your areafor local curbside pick up times. Be sure and wait for an email saying your order is ready before heading to the store.

Got some merchandising issues in this store as well as numerous mispriced locations or missing tags in general. They likely have what you need, but stuff like cables and adapters are way overpriced. However, if you can find an identical brand for less online, they price match. Staff are a bit too aggressive with their offers to help. Dont bother with Geek Squad if you can help it.

Staff challenged me regarding the mask policy after I had spoken with the gentleman at the door and was approved by him to go in as I was. Another member of the staff seemed to be watching from somewhere else and very aggressively demanded I put on a mask. After repeating my previous conversation with the gentleman at the entrance I was informed that was too bad and I needed a mask or shield immediately or we needed to leave. Had the needed item not been critical we would have left. We then asked that same guy to assist us with finding our item, he said he would be right back and only returned or happened to see us as we walked out 15 minutes later. Luckily we had great help from another employee with the router we needed who was very friendly and informed. Unfortunately one bad apple can spoil the bunch. We will not be back and I will be sharing our experience with everyone we can! Poor choice to alienate people in my opinion, very disappointed!

I had an appointment for a car radio installation today and was disgusted with the way i was treated. I had arrived early like asked and immediately let the tall, bigger man who was looking at my car know that i had rca cables and a remote cable i needed hooked up to the back of my new radio. he told me he wouldn’t do that for me, even though the man who called me for my appointment reminder the day before had said they would be able to hook up the cords for me. I told him i was confused as to why and he gave me an annoyed response. he then also told me my appointment would be an hour and a half longer than expected. He continued to give me an attitude until i left crying to call my parents because i didn’t know what to do. my parents had to drive 45 minutes to come convince this service guy to do what i paid nearly 500 dollars for. My stepdad had to come and figure it out for me because the guy wouldn’t take me seriously. the manager was nice and helped us find a solution so that was good. The total appointment time was almost four hours long. The same guy who gave me attitude also gave my stepdad attitude. I am still very upset by the way I was treated and it’s safe to say I will not return if i ever need a service done again. I wish i had the mans name so i could let someone directly know, but this will suffice. At least i got to take up some waiting time by crying in the best buy bathroom for an hour because of the way i was treated haha

Theres two parts to this review. First of all, their PC department is a 5/5 for me. I always enjoy stopping in and taking a look at the computers when I stop to get a part for one of my electronics. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. I once stopped and talked to one of their staff members for 15 minutes just about computer components and the like. I will always go there for when I want to buy electronics.Now for the negative part. The Geek Squad Autos department is a 0/5 for me. I stopped in earlier this year to get a new Remote Start system and a new radio put in my 1998 Buick Riviera. They insured is that it would be done correctly and quickly. We got a call the next day and they told us it was finished. I stopped at the store and picked my car up, only to see my steering wheel, which is leather, was all scratched up and rough. I dismissed this, as its easy to scratch up and Im sure I would have done the same thing. I then noticed the OBDII scanner port was still stuck up the bottom of my dash; they forgot to put it back when they put the dash back together. Annoying, but I fixed it myself. But finally, when night time came, I noticed that almost all the bulbs in my climate control unit were burnt out. Everything but Temp Up and Fan Up/Down were burnt out. When I took the car in, they were all working. I then called their department and explained to them the situation. This is the answer I got.Yup, thats what happens with those older GM cars. The bulbs are so brittle, they just explode when you take the climate control out. I thought this was ridiculous. Older GM or not, what if the car was an older Camaro? These things arent cheap to fix.. I now have to take out the climate control, pay $20 to ship it out to an out-of-state repair shop, pay them $65, then reinstall it when it arrives back. This could take a week or two, and going two weeks without A/C in this heat could be dangerous, and I certainly could not get it fixed when I first discovered it was broken, as the temps were -20 to -30 degrees over winter! Very frustrating.I will never use their Geek Squad Autos department ever again, and I certainly will not recommend it to anyone else. I love the electronics portion of the store.. just not the autos. 0/5.
