I drove 3 hours to come buy a car here and was stood up. There was only one person who could sell cars here and he didn’t show up. I had an appointment with the guy. I was then rushed out of the dealership and he basically said “I don’t know what to tell you.” Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.*Edit since this guy responded*I was 100% on time for my appointment and yes it took me three hours to drive 40 miles due to rush hour traffic throughout New York City. Amazing how you could respond to a Google review so fast but can’t show up to close a deal on time.

We went there to checkout an X5 the and we decide to move forward with the purchase. the owner Mike took our info and everything to get us approved through one of their lenders and said he would call us. Next thing we know the car was sold to someone else and he didn’t even reach out to me to say anything neither would take our calls. We found out through their website when the car show sold. This is not the right way to do business, Mike was very deceiving and shady about how he handle business. I’m Afraid he may use my info for Identity theft or some thing since he never got back to me.

****HONEST REVIEW****I will try to make this short. Mike has shown me nothing but excellence and great efforts to make my car buying experience smooth and easy. He sat down with us and explained every important detail that we did not even have to ask a question because he already answered all of them even before we asked. The car I bought from him (2017 q60) is 4 years old yet can be mistaken as brand new. His staff and mechanics were welcoming and where all smiles. I would definitely recommend them to those who are looking for an honest dealer.

I purchased a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid in August of 2020. Mike, although at the begging seemed both helpful and resourceful, quickly became both unreliable and unresponsive upon further inspection of the car. After owning the car for a little over a month, I had taken a trip upset, during this trip the car began making odd noises and smells, I had the vehicle checked out at my local mechanic to which I found the brakes needed to be replaced and were told that they were 90-95% worn. I called Mike and explained, and was told to come back the following Monday to have the brakes replaced. Upon my appointment arrival, I was told the mechanic never showed up, was never called to be informed not to come, nor was I rescheduled. At this point I had left Mike several messages and did not get a response until later that evening, my appointment was at 8 am. I then took the Subaru to another mechanic, just to have a second opinion, since Mike explained that most of the time mechanics just wanted to make money, and that upon the purchase of the car Mike said that legally he could not sell a car in NY State without the brakes being at least 50% or under worn. It was at this time, I was informed by yet another mechanic that not only the brakes were 95% worn but that the rotors were rusted completely. and the vehicle was deemed too dangerous to drive, this was after I had driven the car upstate, home, to work, to his shop, and multiple mechanics. I did was any sensible person would do, and had the everything replaced right then and there, since the mechanic at Kings Point Auto is unreliable and does not do accurate readings. I was also told that this car should have never passed inspection, which the Subaru did in fact have a valid 2020 inspection sticker. Since having these issues replaced I have reached out to Michael on numerous occasions, as well as my father in law, and have since, been unable to reach him. If inquiring if it is worth it to buy from his establishment, I would strongly recommend not to, and if you do, do yourself a favor and have the vehicle checked at a reliable mechanic to avoid both disappointment and additional finances. I would never recommend anyone to come here, this establishment has been a headache within the first few weeks of the cars purchase. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

In response to my prior review left, you paint yourself to be helpful, when after the purchase of the car you were quite unresponsive. Amidst the global pandemic, as you now from conversations prior about your wife breaking her arm and myself having to admit my family member into the hospital for covid, that I am more than understanding. Upon the drop off of my vehicle for the intended issue of my breaks, my concern if you were able to understand it was that I was not made aware prior, until my arrival of your business.BUT WHAT THERES MORENot one of your staff was wearing a mask. I am sure you have video surveillance, so this should be no issue for you to go back and check.Although, after having to personally have the vehicle checked out by a local mechanic, making the appointment with you and not getting a call to be told your mechanic had not come in, and having the car checked out by a different mechanic because you advised me that most mechanics just want to make money, I decided to have a second opinion, to which I found out the car was deemed unsafe and that it should have never passed inspection. I questioned the authenticity of your mechanic because after hearing this from two separate mechanics and seeing as I was not advised to make an appointment at a different time and drove the 50+ miles to your shop, I felt, since being advised by two different mechanics, one as a quick check upon the insertion of new wiper blades / oil change, and one specifically putting the Subaru on a lift and checked extensively, that the mechanics used to work / inspect my car were not in fact truthful.EVEN MOREI had spoken with you two prior times, one via phone, one through text, upon your dismissal of my concern, where you did offer me a loaner, however, this was 24+ hours after I explained that once the second mechanic deemed it dangerous to drive, I did not feel safe taking it to your place.HOWEVER,Upon the purchase of this used car, I was informed that legally you could not sell a car in NY state without the breaks being at least 50%, so in no way, when I planned to drive up to upstate to Lake Champlain, was the current question of Is the car I just bought safe enough to drive, even though I was ensured on numerous occasions that It was was ever an actual thought going through my mind, I assumed it was, jokes on me I guess.Michael, since the concern of your ratting via google is a higher priority then the getting back to a customer, I would also like to reiterate, that before writing this review, I reached out on several occasions. Met Mike about two weeks ago to check out a used SUV, although we didn’t make a deal I still credited him for taking the time to go above & beyond in allowing me to thoroughly inspect the car, test drive and answered my questions.This is a family run business, so the facility itself has all the basic amenities but don’t expect it to be a fancy brand name dealership.

Went to see a car that was advertised as immaculate showroom condition. Was advertised $2k above blue book top price, so figures this was an amazing car to look at and could negotiate the price to something reasonable. Got there at opening time and the owner was 20 minutes late opening the location. Said he would be out with the car in 5 minutes because it was inside being detailed. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes for him to bring the car out. When he did, the car was in awful condition. Within literally 2 seconds of seeing the car I saw a huge 2-3 inch dent in the very middle of the door. Closer inspection showed more dents and dings all over the car. One side mirror had so many 1-2cm chips completely gouged out that it would need to be completely repainted. He said he could fix it all for under $200, but if that was all he was spending and him lying about the condition of the car, I know the fix-it work would be sub-par. The final straw was him saying, well this *is* showroom quality as far as a used car is concerned. Walked away from that with not more than a few more words exchanged. Unless you are super close and can go see the car you are interested in with little time wasted, this dealership is not worth the drive.

Had a great experience purchasing a used pickup here... dealt with Mike and he made the experience even more pleasurable! .. made s deal on Friday and picked the vehicle up the next day with no problems.. highly recommended!

Called in the morning asking if the particular car I was looking at was still for sale. They said yes and I told them I’d be coming to see it. I hung up the phone and double checked their website prior to make sure car was not sold. It was not thus, I Immediately left and drove two hours to see the car and when I arrived I was greeted when looking around the car I wanted to purchase. The lady said she would go inside to get the keys. Two minutes later she comes back and confirm the car I’m looking at to make sure she has the correct keys. She goes back inside and comes out another 2 minutes later and told me the car was sold. I find it highly unlikely that within the time I called and drove there that the car actually sold. Seemed like they were judging me off of looks. Too bad I would of bought it in cash or certified check. Do not recommend this dealership.

This shop must know what theyre doing. The shop was busy as I looked at some of the fantastic vintage restorations and hotrods that were parked/displayed on the property. In my opinion, the owner knows how to fix cars or rebuild them to the point where the car/truck is restored to like/near new looking condition. 👍

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!! They tried to ruin my life!! False advertisement and hidden fees at its best. Do not trust this dealership. I was taken advantage of and robbed THOUSANDS of dollars.The car they were trying to push on me was full of dents, dings, and body damage and had a check engine light on!!!!!!!!!!!! And still he wanted top dollar for the car in addition to THOUSANDS of dollars in hi fee and bye fee!!I dealt with Mike, who was a scammer to say the least. Stay away from this dealership!!!!!!!!

Liars and Cheats!!!I found Kings Point Auto via Auto Trader and Car Gurus. I was in the market for a BMW X5. I found the car, which I though was the one, but boy was I wrong. The car they were selling, was almost $3,000 over market value, which I thought was due to the amazing condition of the car . The pictures showed it to be in impeccable condition with a gorgeous interior and Stock 20 Inch Wheels.. I called and Spoke with Mike, One of the owners. I told him that was interested in the car and wanted to insure, that this car was as advertised. I live 1.5 hours away from his dealership and didnt want to take the ride without being certain.Mike assured me that the car was Mint and in Showroom Condition He also explained that this car was maintained better than he has ever seen and that I would not be disappointed.I asked Mike if the price was negotiable. He said that based on the condition of this car, he would not budge. This enticed me even further and so I made the long drive.Upon arrival, I was made to wait until Mike finally tended to me.He took me to the back where they have their garage, a ragged place may I add, where the car was presented to me.The First thing I noticed was that the wheels were Black, 19 inches and had several scratches and dents. This was of course very upsetting to me. Mikes Reaction Hey dont worry, Ill paint them back to Silver for youNext, as he pulled the car out of his Dirty garage, I notices that the Rear of the car, was nearly touching the tires. I asked about it and Mike Said Hey Dont worry, Ill replace the shocks for youI walked around the car and found several scratches and dings. Remember, the car was supposed to be Mint as promised over the phone.I then proceeded into the vehicle where I found the Leather on the steering wheel to be peeling off and the wood trim on the driver door, cracked in Two places.Moral of this Review.Dont trust Kings Point Auto. I don’t generally write reviews online but felt the need to here, given the EXCEPTIONAL experience I had at Kings Point Auto and working with the owner Mike G (his colleagues Ryan and Sam were also helpful). I was in the market for a BMW 5 Series and had checked out several dealerships prior to coming to Kings Point Auto. Many of those other dealers employed the sales tactics and tricks that I feel give used car salesmen a bad reputation. My experience with Kings Point however, was exceptional. My first impression walking into their showroom and lot was that it was filled with beautiful cars (many BMW’s and Mercedes) and they were very fairly priced. I could tell Mike has a good eye for cars and picks his inventory as if he was buying these cars for himself. What really impressed me was that there wasn’t any high-pressure sales pitch. Instead he was very informative, easygoing, helpful and patient throughout the process. I ended up purchasing a gorgeous BMW 550 from him. He also was able to get me an excellent finance rate through his lending relationships. He is dedicated to the business and ‘gets it’. While others are looking at you as a one-time transaction and a quick buck, Mike looks to build relationships, as he knows a happy customer is a repeat customer and this is probably not the last car you will buy. I imagine any negative reviews may be from those with unrealistic expectations. I found Mike adds value every step of the way and as a result I wouldn’t hesitate to refer friends and family to him. I found a rare Maxima online at this dealership. 1 of 6 in the USA online and I chose to fly to NY and purchase the one at Kings Point Auto. I spoke with Mike on the phone and was reassured about the car prior to purchasing my airline ticket. Flew from Kentucky to JFK. Transportation was taken care of by Kings Point Auto. Everyone there and involved with my purchase were professional and very helpful. I drove the car back to Kentucky the next day (13 hours) with no issues. Thanks Mike and your entire crew. I will look here again when in the market for a new auto purchase.

Mike and his staff at Kings Point Auto were nothing less than a pleasure to deal with. The lack of high pressure sales tactics was really refreshing after two months of working with larger dealerships. I had been looking for a specific car (at a reasonable price) for quite some time and finally found it at Kings Point. They have a really cool/unique collection of cars that will appeal to enthusiasts. The whole process was straightforward and I never felt like they were trying to hide something from me.There were a couple minor issues with the car when I showed to take it home. There was a little bit of water in one of the taillights (hard to catch unless its just rained and no spare key. Without any hesitation, Mike agreed to send me a new taillight and pay for the spare key once the car had been registered. He has stuck to his word as I have received the taillight and will be heading to VW soon to get the spare!I had a great buying experience at KPA and will certainly come back when Im ready for my next car.

As a female car enthusiast I have what I consider a unique outlook on cars, dealerships, and the salespeople who work in the car business. Nobody expects me to know what I do and Yes, I fully use that to my advantage. Who wouldnt?! I grew up with 3 brothers and a father who were all very passionate about cars. Eat, sleep, breathe cars. I found this dealership through a very unique car that was literally 1 of 3 available anywhere. The one they had was admittedly the nicest of those 3. I denied it when I compared it with the others, but knew this before I ever inquired.As a family rule we only purchased our cars new or privately, only. I went against this rule when I found this car. Although I didnt purchase the car I saw, I truly wish I had. Mike was friendly and informative and I could tell immediately that his cars are his passion & that he cares about his customers. No sales routine or high-pressure tactics but rather a unique and pleasant way of presenting things.I wanted this car but couldnt pull the trigger & I missed out on a really great car. I since realized there was no pressure because he knew what he had and that the next buyer was just around the corner anyway. Lesson learned!I did not buy a car here but routinely check back on their merchandise and have referred 2 friends who have since purchased here since. Had a great experience purchasing my 2014 335i xdrive with a 6speed manual (rare find) everything was quick and easy, Mike tries to get you the lowest interest rate on the Island and is very knowledgeable.. I purchased a 2011 audi Q5 for 16k. The engine went after 3k miles. I am 24k into the car and cant get 8k for it after 10 months of ownership. Ive owned about 25 cars in my life and this is hands down the worst experience Ive ever had.

HORRIBLE excuse for a dealership!!! Mike is a con artist. Do NOT give this dealership your time of day and especially your money. He sold me a $40,000 + Jeep SRT8 back in June of 2016. After I got it home and really looked it over close the tires were chopped, front and rear rotors + pads were worthless. Wheels were spray painted, valve covers were missing, he gave me the wrong spare key so I send him the wrong one back like he told me to do but then told me he would NOT buy me a key and that I was beat, was missing the manual (he got me that), missing remote control for the entertainment system and he stated (they are only about $60) and told me I was responsible for it and refused me that also, vehicle had footprints on the back seat, not detailed on delivery day when he knew I was coming from 2+ hours away to pick it up and the list goes on. I could write a book about the horrible experience I had that day. Mike is a scumbag. Trying to get a hold of him after the sale was next to impossible! If I didnt worry about getting in trouble I would have drove the jeep back to NY and drove it through his store front! Good luck if you choose to go there but I will tell you please look at all the NEGATIVE reviews (NOT on his site, of course.) they are elsewhere (Yelp, etc) I am not the only one he has ripped off! Fortunately I found a listing online through Craigslist that led me to Kings Point Auto. I emailed & called Mike regarding this WRX to see if it was still available. Not only did Mike email me back, but he also called to let me know it was still available and if I was indeed interested to fill out the loan application online , which I did. Mike called me back same day to give me good news that I was approved, and at a low interest rate at that.So immediately after work on this same day, I went to see this 2013 Subaru WRX hatch in person. Soon as I walked in Mike greeted me, & as soon as I said my name he already knew what vehicle I was here to see. Seeing this WRX hatch in person looked like it just came off the showroom floor! Mike even allowed a test drive with no problems. After the road test he let me continue to check the car out, allowing me the time & space to just view it over myself. So it turned out that this WRX was actually a limited edition, even better! Seeing the car in person with the test drive I was sold.Mike went over the details (which he actually previously let me know what Id be looking at already over the phone) interest rate was low, monthly payment was within the amount I requested to stay within, in addition to a low down payment of only $500! Which included title, tax, fees, registration & plates. I was able to drive the vehicle off the lot same day, all I had to do was call my insurance company to make it official.Overall vehicle price was still lower then what the dealer brand retails it for, which was even better! The time spent at this dealer was no more than 2 hours at max, Mike was super friendly & helpful, Id definitely recommend this facility if your in the market for a newer car, Mike will make it happen! Not professional i brought a porsche 2009 from this dealer paid for an extendend warranty 5000$ an they did not honor it i was given every run around i took my back for repair several times the problem was never diagnosed the mechanics were lazy i had to take my car else where i may have to call the NEWS on this one i feel i have been ROBBED sale man named MIKE

I went to look at a car and Mike told me to put a $4000 deposit and now he wont give me a refund back for it. I am a new car buyer and I have no idea what I was doing and he scammed me! There was no signs that said anywhere of No Refund or Final sale and he was making up lies saying how he does not know how to refund and then proceed to say he cant do the refund until he sells the car . Then he proceeded to tell me hell do the refund the next day and took pictures of my credit card and told me to get out of his business yelling at me . I called the next day and for some reason the line is disconnected and when I call Kings Auto they hang up on me . Even when my bank called them they hung up on them too! Then hes telling me how he lost buyers for the car when I changed my mind in 18 hours of not buying the car and now they are still trying to sell the car for even lower! What a bunch of thieves that they wont give back any of my money and Im still trying to dispute it. They make all this money selling cars and here they want to just keep someones money when I didnt even get anything out of it! They STOLE MY MONEY and now THEY ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GIVE IT BACK BECAUSE THEY ARE SPITEFUL! All I want was my refund and they just want more money to themselves
