I order medical supplies through them, my wheelchair was bought through them, and they repair my wheelchair and every thing has always been excellent! They have always worked with me to figure out what wheelchair would suit my needs. They have always had products that my insurance covers to fit my needs and the service has always been very friendly. I have had my wheelchair in for repair several times and I have worked with all of the servicemen and I have no complaints about them or their service. They do what they can to help and figure out the problem!

Terrible Customer Service. I tried to order a CPAP mask through my insurance and after a bunch of phone calls back and forth to Airway Oxygen and having my doctor fax them a prescription. The rep from Airway Oxygen told me I had to make an appointment with my doctor and get a note that I was using my CPAP. How stupid are they? I finally decided to order one online and paid half as much! This place is not worth your time.

There have been several incidences for my husband (who is a paraplegic) where we were treated with nothing but irritability and poor attitude by the techs from the back room. I was once told I was in the wrong and must be lying on how long ago and how many times we had called and waited for several messages to be returned to no avail by a technician on the phone. One most recent event was when they told my husband in the literal words they caught wind of him already having a chair they had an order for so they had not placed the order for weeks because they assumed they had the authority to approve or deny orders they received. We have also been blatantly lied to when we were told they were waiting for insurance approval for a piece of medical equipment and when we contacted our medical claims adjuster at our insurance company covering his medical expenses, she informed us that she definitely had not been contacted by their location and she herself hadhactually been wondering why she hadnt heard from them yet. We will continue to go out of our way to do our business through the Muskegon location where Dave is very nice, helpful, and accommodating and we do not feel like a burden or nuisence to them like we are made to feel at the Madison location.

I have had my wheelchair for 24 years because they havent been able to find another wheelchair...well let me clarify that. They couldnt find a wheelchair that worked for me. They ordered 2 over the past 18 years that wouldnt work. While I have been working with Orthoseat and Aiway for 3 years and they still tried to make me believe there was NO OTHER chair available for me. They even told me that. When my batteries died a few months ago Jim, wheelchair tech was pissed off at me because I came in and needed emergency work done. He put new batteries in and then I had another appointment with him the following Tuesday and Carol called to tell me Jim would ABSOLUTELY NOT WORK ON MY CHAIR ANY LONGER and they cancelled my appointment. I had to go to Amigo Mobility on Monday and the man there Dale, fixed my wheelchair within 2 minutes. It was a plug under the seat, which is what I asked Jim to look at. Since Airway wont help me any longer unless I do what they want, I now go to Wheelchair Rehab with Tom Charney or Amigo mobility on Plainfield. Airway lets their techs be mean and rude and take out my wheelchairs problems on me when I cant control what happens to my wheelchair, or when. You would think they understand that but in the back room they talk about us disabled people as they and they joke about our needs as entertainment. They thought I could go or even would go for a week before I could get an appointment for batteries to move. I would have been in on spot all week and I live alone! TOTALLY INCOMPREHENSIBLE!!!! No empathy at all, except for the few but now I dont even know that they the few may have become unconcerned and judgmental. Airway is NOT the only place for wheelchairs and repair and OrthoSeat is Not the only resource for wheelchairs. They only sell you the ones they have contracts with the manufacturers, a few. They will tell you these are the only options but they are not!
