After going to 3 other stores, found exactly what I was looking for and got same day! Great service and large selection

I wanted to see about giving a local business a shot instead of going to best buy or Home Depot, and this definitely was not the place to go. I went with my partner and headed straight to the washer and dryer section. A rep came by pretty quick, but had already decided we werent going to buy anything even after asking him questions about higher end models and were told they werent in stock and then he pointed is to the cheapest ones in the area. Guess my money wasnt good enough.

I brought a Gladiator Refrigerator and Freezer from Decker and Son and res on or about June 24, 2021. I was and still am horrified about what happen after it was delivered. I get straight to the points.1. The refrigerator did not work. Lost all my food that weekend. Call Decker and Sons, they call service they came out later that week and found out that the temperature control panel was out. Also the refrigerator was registered in someone else name and before the service man could assist me I had to show him my receipt that I had brought it.2.The part was ordered and when it came in another service call was made. At this time the foot level had gone out. He order that part and said they would call when it came in.3. Call Decker and Sons again the refrigerator is not keeping my food cold and more food had spoiled. I was told to get a thermometer and check the temperature. I brought one at Gordon Foods. The temperature was 60%F. after 12 hours. Call back and they said a service person was scheduled and to wait. I did.4. Next week my freezer went completely out ,blowing warm air. I lost all my food in the freezer. Everything was gone. I call Decker and Sons and told them this is not acceptable. They wanted me to wait for the repair person who was schedule for Saturday August 14, This is 12th what was I suppose to do with the food, let it set there until the repair man comes or what. I request a pick up, refund and compensation for the lost of my food.5. The delivery person came to pick up both appliances and said they where shocked and showed them the video of the food that was lost. They apologized (the delivery persons) for what I went through .6. My account was credited 2 days later but never received compensation for food lost in the refrigerator nor freezer. And the appliances were under warranty. I only had them less than 6 weeks. I would not recommend this store to anyone for sales or service

We went an ordered appliances in Aug 2020. Due to the pandemic our items were not in stock. We were told they would be in a week or 2. I started calling once a month there after NO COMMUNICATION from Decker. Finally received 2 of my 3 appliances in December. They were delivered unboxed. The dishwasher had scratches. They ordered a new face for it. I called weekly to see if it was in. I was told 2 weeks or so. I called they said they had it. Someone would call to get it scheduled to install. NEVER called finally I called back. They lost the face! Stove didnt work (that was a manufacture issue). Finally got my fridge got delivered 2/21. The door does not open fully due to a wall. We asked about it when we ordered and we were assured it would still open there was room. WRONG! Still do not have the new face for my dishwasher! Very disappointed in the service from Decker.

Went there Saturday to look for a refrigerator as ours died. Drove in the parking lot 4:45pm, 15 minutes before stated closing at 5:00. Im pretty sure we passed employees driving out of the parking lot and the place was dark we we went to the door. I guess they didnt want our business. Be aware that posted hours may not be reliable

Very nice sales associate. They worked for me and helped me out. Really liked that experience. Unfortunately all (at least all of mine) appliances are unboxed. My stove has a lot of deep scratches on it right when I got it. Still really like the appliances, just wish they weren’t all scuffed immediately. I would use them again but would make sure all my appliances were in boxes.

These guys are the best! I was having a real hard time on finding a certain electric range for my wives Christmas present. Every major appliance store couldnt get it for 2+ months. These guys had it less then a week in the back of my truck! Dave was great communicating everything that was going on with it. They will definitely have my business in the future and Ill recommend to friends and family. Thanks again guys, I appreciate it!

My visit was fantastic from start to finish. A staff member (Tom I believe) asked all the right questions to steer us to where we needed to be while answering all questions we had. We then were handed off to Dana who made excellent suggestions and pointed out any cons he knew of about appliances as well as their perks when I asked. He made sure everything was ready when we came back to pick them up and did an excellent job making sure everything fit our needs. Not once did I feel pressured in any direction. Loading the appliances couldnt have been easier. Will look here again for future needs.

Friendly service, great prices, and the best delivery team Ive ever had. I bought an oven from them in June and just bought a chest freezer in October 2020. Delivery team was friendly, fast, and made it down my 70-80 degree decline flight of stairs no problem. Will definitely be using Decker and Sons for all my appliance purchases from now on.

I went there after a rather unpleasant sales experience at another store. The team at Decker and Sons was everything I had been told to expect and more. They went above and beyond to help me pick out an entire kitchen of appliances and explained exactly what to expect if any part of my order was delayed (which I expected due to Covid). They really do an excellent job and are very competitive on price and win on service. I cannot recommend them enough.

Purchased a built in Jenn Air refrigerator, Jenn Air stove (gas & convection) with griddle and Jen Air hood. I love, love, love my kitchen appliances! My husband and I purchased the Maytag double oven (my favorite!), the four door fridge, dishwasher (my new best friend) and microwave. Honestly, I’m not one for reviewing anything unless it’s particularly great or particularly bad. I will say that I was moved to review Decker because of their excellent customer service and products. In the last ten years we have purchased 2 refrigerators, 1 range, 2 microwaves, a washer and dryer set, 1 tv and a dishwasher from them. Different homes over the years. I have never been disappointed. Not even once! We’ve had a couple of issues come up and the ALWAYS have helped. I’ve been surprised how much they go above and beyond. They have a loyal customer with my family and anyone I can tell and their prices have been unbeatable at the big box stores, I don’t even bother looking anymore it’s not worth the hassle.

Our experience with Decker and Sons was flawless. The sales staff was extremely knowledgeable. The installer was first rate and friendly. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Nice store, but if you need to talk to someone in particular it can be a challenge. My repairman told me to ask for one of two guys, and each time I asked for them, she told me they are not here. No question as to why I was asking, or offer to take a note. She just kept recommending more options.

Decker & Sons is one of those stores where they have real knowledge and almost 90% of the time have the appliance in stock that you need! My dishwasher went out on Sunday and I called them Monday around noon and it was in my home at 2pm and the old dishwasher was gone! That would never happen at a big box store! Never!

Weve had a great experience with Decker and Sons! I have recommended them to several people and will continue to do so. We have worked with Todd over the past few months and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ll ever shop anywhere else for my appliance needs in the future. We dont need appliances often, but when we do we like to buy American and local--Decker & Sons. They are always competitive and this time, they outdid themselves for us! I discovered my freezer was broken and half of my beautiful summer produce had already thawed. I rushed down, purchased a new freezer and they delivered it the same day--switching the door for me so it would fit the space. I am SO grateful. Six hours after discovering the break, I had a new freezer chilling my half-thawed fruits and vegetables. For me, this is the quintessential reason to shop local. Maria Lopez, my saleswoman, was excellent!

I only called Decker & Sons to find out if they deliver to the city where I live, which is about 35 to 40 miles away. They do. Found out they also hook up your new appliances and to me that takes care of a lot of worries. The person I spoke to was very friendly.

I purchased a dryer and was told it was to be delivered on Saturday between 1&4. I set this time slot aside on a busy day to accommodate this time frame. It was not delivered and set up. I called at 3:30 just to make sure it was coming and was told that it would not be possible. I was hung up on and had to call them back and the owner would not make it right. In my opinion this is bad business. Trying to stay local and this is what happens. It’s sad because my family has been dealing with them for 40 years.

Our refrigerator was slowing dying so my wife called our previous appliance store and was not treated nicely on the phone. She then called Decker and Sons and spoke to Maria. Maria spent an hour on the phone with my wife, who was a bit frantic, patiently helping her with the decision, measurements, and model. We purchased the refrigerator and it was delivered the next morning by two 1st class men who were very careful not to damage our house as they brought in and took away our dying refrigerator. The men were courteous, they answered our questions and provided us some basic tips on how to care for our new appliance. Last but not least their price was a few bucks lower than Lowes. Great Service and Great Price.

I wouldve wrote this sooner but I had to do all the laundry. I went a week and half without a dryer....I can fix it. Well after a while, I was stressed. I looked at Decker and Sons for a dryer on a Wednesday. Needless to say I was drying clothes on Friday. I am very grateful for a staff that understands. They were all very knowledgeable.....with appliances changing all the time I am not sure what I needed. This is the reason to shop local. I dont have time to worry about a good deal. I drove over an hour to pick up a kitchenaid range and when I got there, the owner said he didnt have one except the floor model even I was told three days earlier that my range was there and reserved for me. The owner was very rude and unprofessional. The sales person was also very rude and didnt want to assist me when I walked in the door and told her why I was there. I will not go back to this business again.
