My ID was taken and was not returned. I had to call customer service then had to call security to come help open the machine to get it back also had to help open it as well. The customer service guy “Tim” told me that the reason for the ID getting stuck was because it was a paper ID “this happens all the time” he said, and made me feel stupid. Like I was the one that had over looked the message relaying the fact that paper ID’s do and will get jamed that there is a small text stating that on the monitor before hand. Well after I went through all of that, I knew I hadn’t read or seen any small text. So I went ahead and went back into the system to see where I had misread this.....I didn’t Misread anything. There’s in fact is not a message or small text of any form that states that. I took photos of the monitor to prove so. This is a problem ya see, if I hadn’t been lucky enough to get help from the security guard, “Tim” basically told me I’m screwed that “there’s really nothing they can do”. That’s not ok! To not receive my drivers license back after trying to dispose of my electronic devices the proper way. Especially seeing to how I need my license to drive! Oh and not to mention I just got a duplicate license the day before this. So I would have been Up Creek for at least 10 days with no license waiting for mine to come in the mail. My point is there should be a warning or caution ⚠️ Sigh either on the machine itself in bold print or the monitor stating, the fact that the machine only takes hard copy licenses. “Tim” told me “this has been a recurring event and that he has heard that for years”. Now if that’s the case, why is it still an issue? Why hasn’t the problem been fixed? This was very scary and very Frustrating for me today. I personally would never advise using this device to anyone because of the liability it holds not to mention that the company acts oblivious to the real issues people are dealing with when using there product.Very disappointed
