Bought a Webber gas grill that they assembled and delivered to my deck for free. They even price matched home depot and placed my old grill in the garage for free. They are easy to do business with and very friendly. Support this local store they provide service well beyond the big box stores.

Keith Ace Hardware could put on a master class in how to operate a hardware store. Its clean, always plenty of staff and they are genuinely helpful (theyll also leave you alone and thats a good thing, too).Parking is easy and they stock a TON of great brands...Milwaukee, Craftsman, Irwin, Klein, Stihl, Yeti, you name it. I hated going to HD before and I REALLY hate it now because Ace is so fantastic.As if you needed any other reason to love coming here, they have a great selection of grills, smokers, accessories and rubs. Ive gotten 3-4 different unique dry rubs and theyve all been great. Oh, and ammo behind the counter!!About they only thing they dont have is bulk lumber and pipe, but Id gladly give that up for everything else they do offer. I dont even know how their prices stack up, because I dont care. If its the same or more expensive, doesnt matter because the service and convenience is on point. Give these folks your business and save yourself the nightmare of big box shopping.

Went in for something they didnt have called around for me to send me in right direction.

I went to this place in search of a Stihl chain saw/pole saw. Since we entered the store,not once were we greeted by the busy employees chatting with each other. Stood by the saws and they passed by several times and didn’t bother to help. I finally went up to all 3 and they kept chatting away, they looked at me like I was interrupting their break. After standing in front of them for about 5 mins they finally asked me if I needed help? Really! No I’m just listening to your conversation. One said he would help and I asked which one of the chain saws was on sale, I was interested in the one that was advertised. Immediately the cashier said the sell ended Sunday. Employee still went to check, but could not determine which one it was,so he asked the front desk to check the price on the on we thought it was,when the cashier said that sale ended Sunday. I explained to them the ad said it ends on April 30 and he rudely replied who knows who’s or which ad you have because it ended Sunday. The employee went back to keep on looking and then the cashier said once again what don’t you’ll understand that sell ended Sunday is that hard to understand. As I was leaving I showed the other cashier the ad and I told him, since I’m stupid apparently can you show me where this sale ended Sunday? Of course he couldn’t so he said he was going to order it and they were going to give me a call the next day, same cashier said again no one will honor that price for her your wasting your time. 3 days later, and now the sell ended never received the call! I guess he was right. I will NEVER shop at this discriminatory location again. I guess woman are not allow to purchase from them because they are treated like we are stupid and our money is not worth anything to them. I would suggest take the drive to a different location and don’t keep these people employed!Response from the owner 4 hours agoGood afternoon Martha. I apologize that you had a bad experience at our store. The sale date for the Stihl products was listed as “This Week Only” (the circulars hit mailboxes on April 20th-21st depending on your mail route) and was promoted on the social media accounts, emails, and web page accordingly. Stihl does not allow us to promote the items beyond that point and we are only authorized to go below their pricing for one event per year. The remaining items that were not identified as “This Week Only” were listed valid through April 30th on the back page of the ad. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.Read their response to my review they don’t even make sense,first of all I got the flyer from the store and if it was delivered by mail on the 21 then It was for the following week, I was trying to purchase item on the 25- 26th which would have been the same week! But once again we were too stupid I mean confused to figure that out. Plus they deleted my original review. Lol

I was disappointed when I tried to find an ad item at the Gtown store. I had found it a Salado store but I wanted to purchase closer to home and let my community get the sales tax. After wandering around the store looking, I never saw an employee until I decided to leave. There were two chatting with each other at the door; one had a shopping basket on his head. Decided I didnt need that item enough. Ill go to Salado where there is customer service.

Nice little hardware store. They have a little of everything. They seem to carry a few other things that the original Parco used to offer. Plus its close to my house and would rather go to Keith Ace Hardware than Home Depot.

Generally, Im an Ace Hardware Store fan. The store owners are local and have been serving their community since way before the Big Box stores moved in. This store is top notch. It was recently renovated. Parking is easy. And there were multiple associates available to help. I bought an EGo power leaf blower and weed trimmer.

Quick and friendly service. Knowledgeable employees. Prices a little higher than Home Depot or Walmart, but sometimes I prefer to go into a smaller, more specialized store with more competent and friendly staff.

If you grew up in a small town and people ask what can I help you with... this is that hardware store. Last time I was here purchased Stihl Blower & chainsaw excellent place to teach you how to use these. This time I drove from 15 miles away to buy hardware so I didnt wait in line to get into big box store.. great staff, they know if they have it or not!

Apparently, I made the mistake of purchasing a Stihl product at an Ace store in Humble, Texas and found out the part did not fit my equipment. It was bad enough that the Humble store clerk assured me it was the right part, I then find out he was wrong. So, just return it to another Ace store, right? Wrong.Today I visited the Georgetown, Texas store. I worked with the in-store Stihl technician on ensuring the right part--he was very helpful. When I tried to return the wrong part and buy the right one, the cashier said ...since you didnt buy it here, you have to return to the store in Humble, TX (Drive three hours there and 3 hours back home). The cashier said Were an independent store and we dont own the store where you purchased the part so we cant take it back. I was absolutely stunned by the response from the store. What kind of company allows each store to have its national brand name on the building and then allow each store to sell the same products but not allow you to return it to another Ace store? Looks like my Ace days are over.UPDATE: Based on the response to my initial review from Keith Ace Hardware, I revisited the store and was able to return the incorrect Stihl product and purchase the correct part. I was extremely pleased with the help and cordial manner of the store manager who focused on resolving my issue. Based on the owners swift action to address my concern, and the cooperation I received from store management, I will continue to patronize Keith Ace Hardware. Excellent job in recovering customer satisfaction.

The staff is very friendly and are there to help u find what u r looking for and also give advice if needed. They carry a lot for the size of store. This is the place I go to before any of the large hardware stores.
