Paul did an amazing job! Very professional, and courteous. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing, and why. He even gave me tips for keeping everything in working order. I was highly impressed and very grateful for his help.

I dont think Riley could have been more professional. He explained everything to me and taught me how to operate my new gate opener. He programmed my remotes, helped me set up the MyQ app on my phone, and programmed my garage to open and close on the same remote. He was a delight to work with and followed through on everything he said he would do. Im totally impressed! He did a superior job!

Craig Brown is a great ambassador for Welborn. He has helped me on multiple occasions despite not being a customer at the time. He provided insight into possible causes for my garage door issues. His assistance led me to eventually contact Welborn to have two garage doors serviced/inspected and have reinforced brackets mounted to connect my openers. His explanation of the additional steps Welborn takes to insure extended use by way of stronger brackets, better rollers, etc. provides confidence in recommending them to others. Bryan did a great job updating my door hardware and installing two openers. I so appreciate his work. He carefully looked at my existing door and noted they had not been correctly installed. He replaced hardware, springs, latches and made sure everything ran smoothly. This is our third time using Wellborn. They now repair gates as well as garage doors so we have a one stop shop. The technician was great. Very knowledgeable and he did not try to upsell us but rather made an adjustment within the system. If that doesn’t work we will get a new motor. These guys are very ethical and reasonably priced.

We called Welborn on Sunday and was surprised to have someone answer and make us an appointment for Monday. Chance was our tech and he was professional friendly and did an awesome job! He explained what he was going to do, went over the cost with us and we are very pleased with the results. I would recommend them 100% and we will never use anyone else! So grateful for such a professional company!

Bryan did a great job fixing the spring on my garage door. He found the issue quickly and fixed it quickly too. The only problem was that the cost of the repair was triple of another company for the exact same repair and materials. His company does have a Price Match guarantee and they were able to get the price of the repair down substantially.

I called Welborn Garage around 10am and was surprised to get a 2pm-6pm appointment window.The technician , Paul Last arrived around 2pm. We discussed the garage door problem. Paul said hewould check the system and get back with me with what he found. The door opener had started working properly and wasn’t showing any problem. The door opener system had not had any maintenance in 6 years and I had added insulation to the door adding excess weight. So we decided to remove the insulation to lighten the load on the opener and do a door tune up which includes balancing the springs. I was hoping this will extend the life of the opener a few more years. It was such a pleasure to have someone willing to explore options. I would welcome Paul Last back to my home to correct any future door problems.

My technician was David and he was amazing and very knowledgeable. He gave good suggestions of items I could use to have everything work smoothly. I thinking about getting other things done in the future and I know who I’m going to ask for.

We have used Welborn since we purchased our home almost 20 years ago. I called when my garage door would not open on my way to work this morning and my neighbor confirmed it was not the spring. Jeff showed up as scheduled. He was very thorough in explaining the issue and my options (love the video inspection). He was friendly and willing to check with the office for the questions I had. He also helped explain all the features. Jeff was patient enough to let me practice and taught me how to program my car. He demonstrated great customer service and got the job done as promised.

Every time weve had Welborn out to do service or maintenance on our garage door has been a very good experience. Today was probably the best. We had a 4-window for our appointment time but Preston was at our house at the very beginning of that window. How often does that happen these days? He was very nice and got right to work once I showed him the issue we were having.We purchased a new garage door opener and it was like night and day. It was so quiet and smooth! Prestons work was top notch! Once he was done, he programmed our touch pad and showed us how everything worked and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I were really pleased and will continue using Welborn whenever we have garage door needs in the future.

Garage door at my rental house wasnt working. Tenant said he used Welborn before so I told him go ahead get a service appointment. Welborn tech came in, did the inspection and told me the door is in very bad shape. Its not worth it to repair. He said my best option is to replace the whole door which he quoted $3300+tax. And he said the motor could be bad too so thats another $700 or $800. I told him no. I paid $99 trip charge to let me go. Then I called Everything Garage Door because several my friends recommend them. They quoted a new door price is $999. When they came in to do the inspection they said the door is totally repairable. No need to get a new door. Repair price is $149. Everything is working great now. Stay away from this dishonest company.

Craig Brown was absolutely amazing!!! I ran into my garage door backing in!!! It was 9pm and my garage door was bent and would not let down. After calling Wellborn during after hours Craig arrived within 30 mins, repaired my garage door back to working condition and ordered a new panel!! I was so relieved and thankful Craig was able to resolve the problem. Craig had the best positive attitude, extremely professional, personable and provided Superior Customer Service!

Chance came out about an hour after I called and set up the appointment. He was very thorough with his inspection, and gave us several options for what could/should be done to repair our door. Our spring had broken and he gave us options as simple as just replacing the spring, up to replacing our door (which we THINK is original to the house, so almost 40 years old) and has several problems in itself. He was totally understanding when we told him we could only replace the spring today, and got the work done quickly and well. Thanks so much guys!

After dealing with multiple gate repair techs, Aubrey from Welborn successfully repaired our automatic gate. Within 3 hours of calling Welborn, Aubrey arrived. He went over the previous failed work of prior repair techs, and tidied up the mess they had made out of the control box. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and designed a simple solution. Welborn will be our first call from now on because it will be the only call needed.

Quick service! Arrived less than 3 hours after requesting service. Cody did a great job explaining things, replacing 2 springs and checking everything out. It was very expensive though, almost $1000. They do offer a veterans and 1st responder discount. Suggestions: add a teacher discount as well. And, if a repair is needed, take off the $99 service fee.

Great experience! Called the day before, they were able to help the next day. The garage service person was in time. I was out and had help here to assist him; but he waited on me to get back from my errand to explain the melee. It was a simple fix and he showed me the problem on his iPad as he recorded a video. We had Richard Rushing come out for the Mam plan for milestone and he did a great job. He was super kind, knowledgeable and patient with our incessant questions. We felt like he had our safety and best interest at heart. I was particularly impressed by his thouroughness and his ability to explain things to a layman. We left the appointment feeling confident in out decision to replace the door. I will update when we have a new door but so far we are very impressed.

The service was friendly and professional. My door has never moved so quietly and easily as long as Ive lived here. Chance was a nice guy. I understand the costs and the expense the company faces with the truck and training, but I felt like the service did not offer a significant value. it was over $200 to add a steel support brace to the top of the door. Six metal screws and an 8 galvanized steel bar. If I knew where to buy the parts, I feel like I could have done that in an hour for 40-50 dollars. The mark-up is very high. This is the perfect service for non-handy people that dont want to know and just have money to throw at a problem. This time, that was me, next time, probably not.

Not sure how they are getting this many good reviews considering the pricing of their services; I am very concerned with the salesmanship and overcharging that my parents suffered without knowing better. They had a pair of springs go out on a Sunday and needed it fixed to get their cars out Monday morning, called them up and agreed to the $200 (!!) weekend service fee. They then tried to sell them a new garage door for 7,000+, when locally they are going for about 2-3k for identical units. They then charged $800 (plus the 200 for weekend service) for spring replacement. I spoke with multiple local garage door repair companies the following week that quoted about 300 for the work done including weekend charge.Overall I am so disgusted with their pushy service, pricing, and taking advantage of my elderly parents who didn’t know they were being ripped off. I hope more people take their business elsewhere as whichever jumbo company bought these guys out recently have turned them into a deplorable group!

One of the springs was broken and Chad made some other recommendations that made a lot of sense to me, so I gave him the “go ahead” to replace the broken spring AND his other recommendations. Absolutely awesome first experience with this company. Within 5 minutes of completing the online schedule request I received a call to schedule. Chance Hulse came yesterday and did a wonderful job explaining what he found and repair options - with video! I decided to go with the Door System Overhaul and what a difference! He did a fantastic job that took most of the day - and took the time to explain and show me everything he replaced. This company and employees are A++ professional!

I have used Welborn 3 times since Jan 2015. $96 for a routine Maintence/tune-up, replacing springs and rollers in August 2015 for $395, and a tune-up again in 2017 for $87. This year I called for a tune-up and what I got was a guy coming out and for $99 tell me everything they could replace. No tune-up – just how much it would cost.Here are the numbers: verbally, a tune-up is $250-$300 depending on what they find, and in writing, $3374 for a new door/springs/rollers or $1714 for a system overhaul or $1194 for new springs and rollers, or springs only $924. FYI: my daughter just had new springs put in in her garage, same style and size door, for less than $500 from Plano Overhead Door.I don’t know what happen between 2017 and now but use them if you want to pay almost double and deal with being told everything is old and needs to be replaced or undersized such as the reason my door is not balanced (stays open ½ up) is because there is an extra bar near the bottom that adds 60lb extra weight. Really that bar is standard on my style of metal door and the springs, which they installed in 2017, just needed to be adjusted.

Wellborn is such a great company related to garage door repair. Tate Harding arrived in a timely manner, was courteous, honest and a credible expert. He looked at two doors for us. One needed minimal maintenance and the other needed replacement. In both cases he gave us options to consider with price quotes prior to us moving forward with the work.

Tate was personable, informative and obviously very experienced. I have an old unit. He set my expectations for future repair vs replacement. I will be using them again. I have the impression that Welborn is a good company. They are good to their employees.

A spring broke and the door was immovable, so I called Welborn based on positive ads on The Ticket radio station. Cody was great: uniformed, masked, respectful, friendly. Estimate seemed higher than I expected; he explained they always replace both springs since the other one is likely to fail soon, and that Welborn insists on better-quality parts and guarantees the springs for 3 years, although they usually last 8-10. Also said our existing rollers weren’t what they recommend but seemed to be in good shape, so replacing them was optional. I appreciated all that info and honesty. In addition to replacing the springs, he lubed the rollers, tightened loosened screws/ bolts, checked the track, and redid the opener settings so they were right for the new (stiffer) springs. He had me run the door to my satisfaction a few times, made sure I didn’t have any other questions/ concerns, and gave me his card and said to call him if anything came up. I’m very satisfied with Cody and Welborn and would recommend them to friends or family.
