Cashier was polite and helpful but they need help stocking. Shelfs are either bare or you cant get to them for all the stuff sitting around. Try a different location.

I gave this a 4 ⭐rather than 5 because there seems to be an enormous amount of stock waiting to be put out & boxes are EVERYWHERE! The staff is AMAZING! They are the nicest of any of the Dollar General Stores locally around in my opinion. I just hope they get the couple of employees there some help soon! I WILL continue to patron this location as I feel like it deserves it! Its a clean Store, striving for excellence with need of more employees!! So please stop by and do business with them if you get a chance!! They have awesome Home Decor thats of really great quality!!

It was awful. The worst looking I have ever been in. Shelves empty, stocking carts everywhere. Clerk had to get a ladder for 2 items I needed. I hope they get their new manager quickly, they are definitely late. Staff there was courteous and helpful but really where is a crew to help these ladies!

Stock needs to be put on shelves. I had to cut my trip short because isles were full of unloaded stock carts, isles completely blocked!!!!

I cant stand this dollar general. they finally got rid of some awful AWFUL employees but the stores too cramped and half the time you cant find what u need. I will drive 10 min out of my way to avoid going to this one. I only go in if Im in a huge hurry

Gardendale has to be the most understaffed store Ive ever been in. Its unorganized, dirty. The season has nothing to do with empty shelves or some shelves having unpacked merchandise on them.

This is a neighborhood store, very convenient to get to. The employees are always very helpful and friendly.

I love to shop here at this Dollar General store. The employees are so nice and very helpful. Two of the very best that work there are Hannah and Amanda. They always make a point to say hello to everyone that comes in even if they are busy and usually they are just as busy as little bees when I come in. I shop at this particular Dollar General almost every night because of how great they treat me. Not at all like the other store up by Foodland. Truly happy with my visits every time I go in.

Dollar General is the perfect quick stop for most household essentials and food items. This store location is one of my favorites because its generally neat and the cashiers are nice.
