My experience here was very good (4 1/2 stars of 5). I was able to make a same day appointment for an eye exam- the customer service was very good, store was clean and nicely designed and the optometrist was knowledgeable and empathetic. They worked with me to provide a few free samples of contact lenses and I was able to order my lenses at a reasonable price and have it delivered to a place that was not my home address (and the lenses showed up on time and the order was completely accurate).

They will go above and beyond to satisfy you. I sat on my glasses and went to request for help fixing my damage glasses, to my surprise, the frame was replaced within few days. Jeremy and Stacey Garcia the General Manager are wonderful people that understand how to provide stellar service. A trial will convince you and promise you wont regret it.

I call ahead to let the doctor know I’m running late for my eye exam and the receptionist claims they only give a 10 minute grace window for appointments. Meanwhile I was on hold for 5 minutes. Scheduled for 12:40, I arrived at 12:49. The receptionist allows me to see the doctor. Doctor then calls me in and mispronounces my last name, which is no big deal, if It weren’t for him commenting that “you’re 10 minutes late for your appointment, I don’t have to pronounce your name correctly.” I immediately leave due to his rude attitude and body language. Why would you talk to a paying customer that way? I know he would rush everything from then on to get me out. A simple, oops, I apologize, how do you pronounce your last name, could’ve avoided this all and I would have stayed.

Very Poor Customer Service. My appointment was 12:20. I come in and the two receptionists are on the phone. I took a seat until they were off the phone. When they get off the phone they both got up and went to the back. One lady came back at 12:34 and tells me I have to reschedule because I am more than ten minutes late. I told her I wasn’t late. When I walked in the two ladies at the desk were on the phone and did not greet me. She told me, sorry, it is now over ten minutes so you have to reschedule.I was here on time but because your staff was on the phone and left the desk to not greet me until 14 minutes later I have to reschedule. Very poor service. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

-5 stars if I could. This place extremely lacks customer service by condescending staff and the arrogant doctor. Doctor is impatient and rude. There was this one sad miserable Spanish woman on the staff who seems to think that customers dont deserve respect and she tried her hardest to make us feel uncomfortable.If youre in the mood to be patronized and enjoy arbitrary humiliation, take a trip to this hell on earth establishment.

As I was ready to be seen by Dr Levy for my appointment, he went to the front of the store and screamed at the receptionist. Whether or not she made a mistake, it was very unprofessional in my opinion and the entire store went silent. He then immediately brought me into the exam room and was clearly still frustrated about earlier; it was a very uncomfortable situation. He seemed pretty exasperated to some of my answers to his questions so I wanted to get the eye exam done quickly and get out of there as soon as possible. In hindsight I probably should have left the store right after that incident but it all happened at once suddenly. Since I already have my prescription, I dont need to go back to get my contracts and glasses which Ill buy separately. I wont come back to the store.

Easy to make appointment. The automated system was a little aggressive with confirming the appointment, but this is likely a corporate-level work process. The doctor was kind and informative and corrected an error made by a previous optometrist. The rates on contacts is reasonable. Overall a very good experience.

I’m writing this review for two reasons. First, I agreed to take the survey they sent me specifically because I wanted to mention concerns I have about their operations during Covid. The survey prompted me to make a positive comment, then it ended, which is a deceptive way to get a positive review. Never asked about concerns or areas for improvement. When I went there, the office did not provide gloves for customers to wear while handling frames as promised in their communication prior to my visit. They did not appear to be limiting the number of people coming in. I was there for almost two hours and did not see surfaces being wiped down. They were also so busy they just stacked the boxes of frames customers had touched/turned in on to a counter and didn’t wipe them down/put them back, so the selection on display was limited. They should stop everything at least every hour for a ten minute clean up/restock.I was also dismayed because I ordered glasses for my daughter right before the March Covid 19 shut down. The computers were down the day of her exam. When I called two weeks later because I still hadn’t been notified to pick up her glasses, they never sent in the order, couldn’t find it, etc.. She has been wearing old, taped together bent glasses because of this. When we went in yesterday, they were able to find her eye exam results, and after we finally found some frames, they also noted her previous frame order info was in her chart. Three people including the manager told me it didn’t exist when she needed her glasses in March. She should have, and could have had her new glasses months ago. No one ever bothered to call and let us know they found her info. I find that extremely annoying.I imagine this company underpays it’s employees and staffs with the bare minimum number it can get away with to maximize their profits like most corporations. The result is experiences like what I have described. The people who work there are very nice, but there’s only so much they can do.

I have tried to order contacts from here twice now. The people working here are very friendly and helpful in person, dont get me wrong. But i am extremely disappointed by the customer service. I ordered contacts in the beginning of the year (2020) and had to wait 5 MONTHS for my order to be filled. I brushed this off due to delays for the pandemic. But after having my annual eye appointment a few weeks ago, I ordered a few new boxes because my prescription had changed significantly. I was told they would come in max 5 days. 2 weeks later I tried to call with no answer from the store. After several attempts I tried the online service and they redirected me to customer service in TX, which was again no use. Today I came home to two boxes of contacts - the wrong prescription. They sent me two more boxes of my old prescription. I am completely fed up and have had no luck contacting them again. I will not be returning.

DO NOT trust their scheduling system. My appointment was made last year right after my visit. I received a text message to confirm my appointment two weeks before the appointment date, and I replied Y to confirm. I showed up ten minutes early for my appointment just to find out it was canceled without notify me. No apology, no explanation, and no reschedule. They offered to squeeze me into the full booked schedule, but no guarantee on the wait time. Had to leave since I could not wait around.

Three times here and the service still bad! If you want good service please dont come here. The first day I had read everything only that my insurance provided and I was more knowledge than the people working here. The second day I had to come in to pick up my glasses and it was fast easy. The third time, unfortunately for me it was as bad. No one even at the front desk to great you! Well I could go on but I rather spend the day doing something fun. Please again find a place with better service, I already did and it NOT called Visionworks.

Very incompetent staff. Made an appointment and confirmed it in their system. Take off work show up to appointment to be told they called and left a message to cancel. Well obviously I didnt get the call or message and ask them what number they have, wrong number even though they had my correct number too but they didnt think to call the number on file that confirmed the appointment... also spelled my name wrong. So dumb.

Whatever you do, do not come to this place! Go anywhere else but this location. The staff is rude and unhelpful. I went in there because I broke my glasses, I told them I needed them soon because I was going out of the country and they graduate me it would be in before I still havent gotten them and now stuck waiting for a refund.

Really really bad customer service. They always say they contact you when something is ready but never do. After 5-6 visits I received notification that my glasses were delivered just once. All other times i had to go in the store to find out that glasses are sitting waiting for some time. They either forgot to send message or system was down. Always some kinda reason. With my last glasses they told me to come back in a 10 days to pick them up. When i came they never even started ordering process. Now they want me to go to their lab which got relocated to another place far away from current place to pick my glasses when they are ready. But because system is down they can’t start the process. So they said that they will call me but we already know how it worked out all other times. Anyway, my recommendation, don’t buy from them if you care about service, your personal time, quality.

Poor standard of care. Negligent office. Not only was the office manager going to charge me double what they were supposed to until I had to persistently convinced them they were wrong, but they labeled my sample contacts incorrectly and did not help me get contacts. I wonder how many people they’ve stolen money from due this type of incompetence.This was my first time getting contacts and I was wearing them incorrectly for an entire week before I myself realized they were labeled wrong. When I called to let them know, before I could even ask to get another sample set before opening my purchased boxes she abruptly hung up on me. Of course when I tried to call back, she screened it and did not answer. When I called back and asked the person who hung up on me (office manager) to speak to someone else, she gave me aggressive attitude and hung up again. So unapologetically unprofessional. Being busy is no excuse for providing such terrible customer service.How can you just take peoples money and not provide care, knowing they are now limited to where they can seek eye care after insurance has already been used for the year. Unbelievable.They also inconsistently follow covid protocol. They checked some peoples temp but not others. Barely wiped anything down while I was there. Do not recommend this location.Update: not sure why they bothered to comment on here for me to reach out since no one has responded to me since I emailed them. I decided to try again and go back, again since they’ve already charged my insurance. Same experience! Again, they labeled my samples wrong and are still inconsistently following Covid procedures. Be ware.Still to this day, almost three months after starting this process I still don’t have proper contacts that don’t hurt me because even the doctor doesn’t take the time to really see what needs to be adjusted. She just ordered a few brands of the same type of contacts and told me this is the best it’s going to get which is untrue. After describing my eye pain from the contacts to others, I learned many other options could be explored - why wouldn’t the doctor do something so basic? Such an incompetent place. I ended up working with my insurance to get authorized to go somewhere else and start over.

You can buy contact less than half of their price online!!!I was there to get contact prescription and contacts half a year ago. Dr was very nice, everything went well until I went back to pick up contacts after over ten days. They told me contacts would be ready in a week and let me know, but I didnt get any call or text of notification, so I called then I was told my contacts were ready. Then when I was there I found the lady who do the orders messed up, I asked contacts for half a year, yes, she did for my right eye, but only 3 months supply for my left eye! I spent $300 just got a prescription and 3months contact for L, 6months contact for R( replace every 2 weeks). Now every time when I order online remind me of this. Have to write it down to get over it.

Two years ago I gave this location a 5 star review but was very disappointed with my second visit last week. Brought my 6 year old son in for his first eye exam and Dr. Levy was very patient and made him feel comfortable but that was the only positive part of the visit. I paid extra for a retinal scan for my son and did not get the result before the end of the visit. The front desk staff promised that someone would call me before the end of the day with the results and no one did; I had to call for the results 3 days later. I bought 2 pairs of glasses for my son but then decided to get a refund and purchase the glasses somewhere else that had more reasonable prices. I was assured by 2 staff members that my refund (over $300) was completed but received a text today that my order was ready to be picked up. After calling the location again, we found out that the refund has yet to be completed and can only be done by a manager who was not in the office today (remember this is after being told twice that it was already initiated). Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location under any circumstances!

Not only did I get a state of the art lenses along with designer frames, but they were priced reasonably and done in just 5 days! The service was impeccable, including the lady that pre-screened me and then Dr. Levy who was kind and very detailed during the exam.I could not be happier dealing with Jessica and Miriam who took time to help me choose the right frames and lenses. Their service is good, their glasses are terrible. Before them, i had the same pair of glasses for 5 years, no issues. I decided it was time for a new pair, the checkup was easy, the wait was long. Got my glasses, they lasted 4 months and started cracking... took them back, they wouldnt refund me at all, $140 later i got another new pair of glasses, now 2 months later they have cracked as well. I will never ever go back for glasses as obviously their quality is not meant to be used daily.

I called the Visionworks location on 355 on Monday for an eye examand they told me they didn’t have appointments for that day. I came in to kentlands without an appointment and Stacey greeted me right away with a huge smile. She asks if I had an appointment , I said no and she added me on their schedule right away and handed me paper work. She helped me figure out my insurance (I never know my insurance) she was very kind and patient. She helped me pick out my first pair of progressives she asked if Dr. Levy explained the progressives which he did but she made me feel a bit more confident about the purchase. At no point was I rushed, she did excuse her self a couple of time to answer the phone but that was ok. I’ve worn glasses for many many years and never liked the whole process of picking out new frames but she made it so easy and fun (she’s really funny) that I’ve recommended my coworkers to her. Her politeness and knowledge was incredible. I’ve never ever felt so good about purchasing glasses. If you need glasses pay Stacey a visit you won’t be disappointed.
