Everyone at Couture Bridal was so kind. They can hold your dress until the big day which is what I did. With the pandemic and all they were very accommodating and flexible. I bought my dress during one of their floor sample sales and got my dress for $300!! Also as a seamstress myself I was highly impressed with their seamstress’ work. My dress turned out perfect and fit me like a glove!

Maegan at Couture Bridal was great. We had a wonderful experience dress shopping with her. Maegan was helpful with honesty and creativity. She also was quick on her feet when I had a sudden change in idea for what I wanted in a dress.

Absolutely horrible experience with them. Beware when they charge you $100 shipping and say dress “will take 4-6 weeks to come” they rushed me , i called them one day later after a Sunday and holiday... said I was rushed and having second thoughts. Currently disputing them and will take them to court! Please do your research. They are unethical . Imagine a place trapping a bride into a dress she doesnt want after 1 business day and no alterations!UPDATE : I tried reasoning with this shop and they said my reviews are extortion. Refuse to work with me and release me . Consider if you want to work with a bridal shop IF ANYTHING doesnt 100% meet your expectations, they will say TOO bad and not assist you. I have a dispute ongoing with my credit card company and Bridal Couture instead of saying sorry how can we resolve this?.... Wrote me an email hello every week you dont pay for the dress is 10% late fee).

I had an excellent experience buying my wedding dress here! The staff were all so kind and helpful and I couldnt have found my dream dress without them. They have a great selection of dresses and accessories and an in-house seamstress which made it such a nice one-stop-shop for everything I needed! Highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience with my consultant Meaghan. She was able to fine tune what I was actually looking for, although I came in with ideas that were all over the place. We texted back and forth the day before and she was able to see and pull the dresses that I had added to my favorites list on their site. She was professional when helping me in and out of dresses and made me feel at ease. She really worked the clips and ties so you could really get a feel of what the dress would look like. I added champagne and snacks to my appointment and it was well worth it. I ended up choosing and buying a dress while I was there. Thanks Meaghan!!!!

If i could give more than 5 stars i would. My stylist Megs not only made me feel comfortable but made me FEEL GORGEOUS. She made the whole process exciting and fun. She was very open about dress prices and didn’t show me anything that was too far over. She was super organized and helped me find the perfect dress. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

I found my dress at Couture Bridal of Maryland on my first visit, and loved every minute of working with them. They have a wonderful selection of dresses, are open to custom designs, and the staff is professional and knowledgeable. I have recommended every bride I know to their shop!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Couture Bridal and everyone who works there!!! They provide excellent customer service from start to finish! I initially went to them in June 2019 with my immediate family looking for my perfect dress. The woman helping me (I cannot remember her name to save my life) was absolutely amazing. She was extremely patient, not pushy whatsoever and listened to my vision while also pulling dresses that were outside of my comfort zone. While I didn’t find “the one” at that time, I went back the next month and said, “yes to the dress”! Throughout the entire process, the entire staff was such a pleasure to work with and were extremely flexible as I had to reschedule my wedding twice. They graciously offered to keep my dress at the boutique which it ended up being there for a year and a half! They have onsite alterations which was extremely convenient and reasonably priced, in my opinion. The seamstress is terrific and made sure during my multiple fittings that my dress fit me perfectly for my big day!A huge THANK YOU to the entire team for helping make me feel and look stunning on my wedding day! I just want to say this place is amazing .I originally had ordered my wedding dress with David’s bridal , and they failed me . The dress from David’s arrived with missing pieces and getting a new one was going to take too much time.I was so desperate to find a dress for my wedding so I googled where I could find a wedding dress. Google popped this recommendation it was the best search I’ve ever done because I found my wedding dress and the customer service was amazing. I had such a great experience here! I had visited a popular corporate bridal store prior to coming here, and lets just say, I did not consider going back to the other store. From the minute I walked into Couture Bridal I was treated like a bride. I got the experience I always dreamed of in every way. The lady who helped me was so patient and kind. I had come into the store not really knowing what I wanted, and also in a bad mood (just having had a bad day). She let me walk through and look at the options and gave advice when asked. I really appreciated this because the last place was so rude, wouldnt give advice and only let me try on 3 dresses. I tried on several dresses, even one for fun! I almost left without a dress but before I left the lady pointed out a dress and asked why I didnt try it on. I told her I honestly didnt think I could pull it off. She asked if I wanted to try it and I did. It was my dress, I cried and everything :) I am so glad I went here. They were wonderful for every stage, thoroughly explaining the process of alterations and were transparent with pricing. I got a great deal too! THANK YOU!!!!

I visited several bridal salons with my best friend and her consultation with Maegan was by far the absolute best! She was very prepared, knowledgeable, offered excellent assistance (clipping gowns and displaying their features in the perfect way, suggestions for how to move in the dresses to evaluate comfort, dress feature suggestions, etc etc). I had a great experience here! My consultant was Masa and she was super friendly and patient. She picked out a dress for me that I wouldn’t have chosen but ended up loving once I tried it on. The in-house seamstress also came over to explain how the dresses would be tailored and what shipping times to expect.If you see any dresses on the website you want to try on, just make sure to call ahead and confirm they have them in the store!! There were a good amount of dresses on the website they didn’t end up having available.

The entire team at Couture Bridal of Maryland was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. They were so helpful, kind, and flexible. We had such a great experience every single time we were in the store, from shopping for THE dress to each fitting appointment. I had my dress customized by converting it from strapless to off-the-shoulder. We loved the service we received so much, we asked them to do the alterations for my mothers wedding-day dress as well, no problem! Both of our dresses were perfect.

The customer service of everyone was so amazing!! they offered so much to try to accommodate within my budget and time frame (of less than a week). they also have an amazing seamstress that got the job done as soon as possible for an amazing price. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service here. I regret buying my dress at this store, if only because every other boutique I went to had phenomenal service in comparison. I do give them 2 stars: one becuase they have a great selection, and another for cleanliness: the dresses are kept in great condition (they make you take your shoes off before trying), everything is very clean, and everyone is wearing masks.However the staff and service was very underwhelming and not very helpful. I went twice, and both times the attendants seem too busy to really help or listen to you, and they also give a bit of attitude, as if you are inconvenient to them...If you want a true bridal experience, go somewhere else. You will not really be listened to here, and I felt judged (like I wasnt cool or trendy enough for them) for wanting to consider adding sleeves, or when I asked if they could clip the dress a little higher so I could see what the hemline could look like....If you dont mind a cold and very business/transaction experience, they do have a great selection. But if you want a REAL bridal experience, so elsewhere!Edit in response to reply: I definitely have the correct store, Couture Bridal of Maryland in Gaithersburg. My appointment was made under my maiden name, which for privacy reasons I do not want made public.

Extremely poor customer service. Dont waste your time here. Somehow theyve forgotten they are in the bridal business, specifically the part about customer service. I was approached with incredibly rude service immediately upon entering the store. The website welcomes walk-ins for accessories, which is what my mission was on this past Sunday. However, I was met with disgust for walking in. While this was not my first experience visiting the store, it will be my lasting impression. Im happy to spend my money where its appreciated. Id caution you to consider other, more welcoming options.

My visit at Couture Bridal was excellent. They were prepared for my appointment when I arrived. The ladies were very friendly and welcoming. Masa was my bridal consultant, she was amazing. Masa understood what I was looking for and she helped me find my perfect dress, thank you Masa. I came in not feeling great after having a bad experience at Davids Bridal and they turned my whole experience around. My experience at couture had been one of the highlights of my whole wedding process. The experience was amazing, their prices were more than reasonable and the staff is exactly the type of people you need to work with when planning a wedding. I actually had a friend who purchased her dress here and I thought I would just stop in to cover as much territory as possible, however little did I know the dress that was exactly for me was in the store. The bridal consultant Ariel was the BEST!!! I came in told her what I liked and disliked, and she took it from there. They are serious professionals and know the wedding business. I strongly encourage anyone in the area who is getting married to go to couture for you wedding dress!

I showed up to Couture by posh bridal in need of a wedding dress for my wedding that was being held in 6 weeks. They were not worried that my wedding date was so close but calm and ready to help me to the best of their ability. Everyone that works there is awesome. They made my experience wedding dress shopping fun and stress free! They have a ton of gorgeous wedding and bridesmaids dresses to choose from and the shop is organized and tasteful.

My experiences at Couture Bridal have been wonderful. I ordered a custom made dress (Astrid and Mercedes) in March from a store in Florida where my parents are from. The dress was shipped to me in Maryland, and nothing was fitting correctly. I was disappointed and upset to have spent that much money on a dress that didn’t even stay on my body, and I had gained 5 lbs! I emailed Couture Bridal for an appointment and they responded right away. They listened to me and what I wanted and made adjustments accordingly. I came back about two weeks later and the dress fitted perfectly. Their team was friendly with reasonable prices! Thank you all for your help and for helping me get the dress I wanted from the start!

Summer sample sale is so worth it! I got a stunning dress for 88% off. The seamstress is on site which is nice so you can get a quote right then and there on alterations. Figure you will spend at $100 altering the dress to size.

I found the perfect dress at Couture Bridal, with thanks to the wonderful staff who helped me identify dresses in the style and price range I wanted. The selection is fantastic, and environment is welcoming and fun. The seamstress is terrific and made sure that my dress fit perfectly for my big day!

Ill start off by saying that the women here are the most wonderful people on the planet. They were so kind to me and were so honest with me when I was going through the process of picking out my wedding dress. I didnt end up buying from here because I ended up finding my dream wedding dress at the bridal shop in my hometown (a family friend owns it). But do yourself a favor and come here. They are SO good with sticking to your budget, and they work with you till you find The One. They have such a killer selection too. And the veils. THE VEILS. I could not say better things about Couture Bridal!

My experience here was one I think every bride should have. There were so many different styles to choose from, and Nina was wonderful in helping me try on dresses, helping me through the decision process, and finding other dresses in the store she thought Id like. The store itself is beautiful as well and had couches for my mom and mother in law right outside the dressing room. On top of my great experience, I did find my dream dress here, and it happened to be at a great price! I highly encourage other brides to schedule an appointment here. You wont be disappointed in your experience!

Wonderful shop with an amazing team.We took our sister there to find a gown after spending the day shopping at all the usual places. It was such a breath of fresh air!Our consultant was welcoming and honest and offered us support and a real opinion (it felt like she was just helpful rather than just selling).The environment was friendly and relaxed, and the dresses were well priced. They also had the dresses out to be looked at rather than in the back. I felt like we could pull dresses for my sister that we knew she would like. In the end she choose a wonderful gown that was under her budget. I cant wait to look at bridesmaids there.

This bridal salon was awesome. We visited quite a few salons for my daughters dress ranging from super expensive to very cut-rate. This salon had a great selection of dresses in a variety of styles and price ranges. The sales person helped find a very creative way to meet my daughters wishes (and make the dress look even better than the one she loved elsewhere for a lot more money). The alterations department was amazing. The dress was perfect. Great selection, great service, great prices. What more can you ask for.

Ugh….I had to wait 10 minutes after my appointment time to be seen…..and it was 110% worth the wait!! I understood at the end of my appointment why some people have to wait past their designated time on a Saturday – it’s because the consultant is not rushing or pressuring the bride to make a decision just because the appointment is over. I have zero regrets about deciding to go to Couture by Posh and I feel so grateful that I did because I found my dream gown here! My appointment was on a busy Saturday and went over the designated time frame because my consultant, Nina, was ever so patient as I made my big decision and tried on my dresses multiple times. Nina made the entire experience so memorable, fun, and enjoyable! She loved my family’s banter and crazy antics and made everyone feel so comfortable. She was amazing beyond words!! Everyone from the front desk coordinator, to the consultants, to seamstress were friendly, open, and helpful. Overall, I had the best experience here and found my perfect dream wedding gown for a price within my budget. NINA IS THE BEST!!

Very stylish little shop in the shopping square. They have street parking which is free, and also a parking garage. They carry lots of cute bridesmaid designer dresses and some really stunning wedding gowns! The women are very friendly and informative. We showed up early and they took care of us anyway! The experience was very professional and we ended up ordering the bridesmaids dress from there. Thanks Posh Bridal!

Every time I walk into this store (which, to be fair, is a lot) I feel as though Im greeted by old friends. Yes, their selection of wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and formal gowns is top notch - but what really sets them apart is their staff. Each and every person Ive met has been so incredible to work with.My wedding gown shopping experience started with a Saturday appointment with my mom and maid of honor. My bridal consultant was great and picked a variety of dresses for me to try on. Im insanely indecisive, so she kept me on track by letting me hold onto only my top 2 favorites throughout the appointment. I ended up having two more appointments that week with Couture, one on Tuesday where I found my dream dress and another on Saturday with my mom. At my appointments I never felt pressured to purchase a dress and Im grateful for the staffs patience with me.I took my four bridesmaids here to look for dresses on a weekend and we all had a blast! We had gone to a popular chain bridal store earlier that day and, while we had a good time, what my girls noticed when walking into Couture was the quality of the dresses. I really appreciated the care our consultant took in dealing with different body types and making sure dresses were coordinated, but not identical. Somehow, my bridesmaids all walked out with the same dress! Again, in this appointment Im grateful for the staffs patience with us. We werent there for hours, but we definitely went a little over our slotted appointment time and never once were we made to feel unwelcome or rushed.My dress finally came in and I was scheduled to try it on yesterday. My mom decided to come with me, and she also decided she wanted to try on mother of the bride dresses for herself. It was a Thursday evening so the shop wasnt that busy and they were able to accommodate an appointment for her. Let me tell you, they treated my mom like royalty! Everyone who worked there was pulling dresses for her and helping her to find a beautiful mother of the bride gown. They were supportive and listened to what she wanted. I couldnt have asked for a better experience for my mom.Do yourself a favor, support local business, and COME TO THIS SHOP!

I would give Couture Bridal of Gaithersburg a 5/5 if not for the unfortunate experience I had with my consultant while shopping. The situation put a damper on such an important and exciting day for me as a bride. I will say that Couture Bridal has an excellent selection and typically a very professional staff. I cant wait to see my gown when it comes in!

I would prefer to give no stars if possible. Where to start.1) When my dress first came in and I tried it on, I ordered a belt with it. I came in for my second dress fitting and asked where my belt was. They had to make some calls, and said oh it was back ordered (something they should notify the bride about) I went in for the next fitting and to no surprise, still no belt that was supposed to be in and sewn on my dress. Now I wont see my dress with the belt sewn onto it until 7 days before my wedding when I go to pick up my dress.2) Secondly- and the biggest issues were the bridesmaid dresses that I ordered through Couture by Posh. We ordered them in May and at this point STILL 2 of my bridesmaid do not have the dresses. After weeks of calling/emailing/expressing my concern of where are the bridesmaid dresses?!? all they would tell me is they will be in soon. On top of all of that, my bridesmaids paid an extra $30 for shipping and when Posh shipped them the dresses, knowing how time sensitive it was, they did ground shipping instead of overnight shipping which now leaves 2 of my bridesmaid 1 week for alterations for which they will have to pay a rush fee on. Throughout this entire process Posh has not done one thing to ease my confusion and stress. They have done nothing to rectify the situation. With the amount of money and business I gave Posh (my wedding dress, alterations and the bridesmaid dresses) I cannot believe how horribly they handled it all. I do not recommend them.

I got my wedding dress from Couture and I couldnt imagine a better experience. They were always fast and efficient, altered the dress exactly how I imagined and provided great service. My dress looked amazing on the wedding day and really held up during all the dancing! I do live about an hour away, but it was worth it to have the dress of my dreams!

I showed up to the shop on Tuesday before Thanksgiving for a wedding on Friday. I explained I wasn’t “high maintenance” and they allowed me to walk around the store to see if anything would work off the rack since there was not enough time to have ordered. Everyone was helpful, kind and nice. All of the ladies kicked in and helped when they were not with their bride. I felt perfectly fine and found my dress in 10 min. They were even able to make the proper alterations by 8:30am Friday morning when my wedding was at 3pm. All was PERFECT!Thank you ladies for making me and my fiancé feel so comfortable and taking such good care of us.

We went four places before trying CbP, and this was our best experience. Amazing selection, gorgeous shop, and professional specialists. Our saleswoman made us laugh and knew not just about the dresses, but about tailoring, too. Our nervous bride left thrilled with both a dress and veil purchased for less than her dress budget.

There is a tremendous selection of wedding gowns to choose from and Olyvia was so amazing! My daughter tried on, I dont know how many dresses. When she was particularly taken with one dress everyone was being so helpful, even the store owner! Then we noticed that they had worked well past their closing time with such grace and joy! I stumbled upon Posh Bridal after having lunch with my family on a Saturday afternoon. They fit me into their schedule right away, and as soon as my appointment began I knew I would find my dress there. Posh was far superior to every other bridal shop I had visited before, from atmosphere (comfy couches and fresh decor) to selection (SO many dresses to look at, right on the racks in the front of the store) to service. Nina was a fantastic consultant-- she was 100% mindful of my budget, super chill, and had a down-to-earth and logical approach that helped keep me on track. I never felt rushed at all. Everyone who works there is approachable and knowledgeable, which really helped to make the dress-buying experience more relaxed and fun. Im so excited to have ordered my dress, and couldnt be happier that I found them.

I had a very nice experience at Couture Bridal. I was very nervous going into this appointment, as this was my first time EVER trying on wedding gowns, and I am a plus size bride-to-be. I worked with a consultant named Nardos who truly made my appointment the best it could be. Nardos did a great job at accommodating my vision and also gently encouraging me to try a few dresses that were out of my comfort zone. Nardos was mindful of my budget and size, so she only showed me gowns that were in that frame. I arrived with my mother and friend, and Nardos did an excellent job at interacting with my mom (who I know can be very difficult and demanding at times). I never felt rushed or pressured. Please keep in mind that you should say yes to the dress at least 9 months before your wedding date so that there is plenty of time to order, ship, and alter your gown. I cant wait for my gown to arrive! Special shout-out to Nardos...she is outstanding!

My husband and I enjoy going to Downtown Crown for Happy Hour and dinner and every time wed go, I would look in the window of this boutique and think Id love to get my dress there. Well I did and I could not have been happier! The staff was so friendly and professional and are great about working with your budget and getting a feel for what you are looking for. The seamstress was amazing and was able to give me the bustle I wanted and fashioned a halter strap to my dress to truly make it mine. Each time I went in, the staff remembered me and we would chat. It always felt like I was meeting with friends in addition to professionals. Great experience all around!

Had an amazing experience here as bridesmaid and a bride! My original bridesmaid dress was ruined and I needed a new one two weeks out from a wedding and the awesome owner Tirza was very accommodating and sold me a dress off the rack. For my bridal appointment, I had a really awesome consultant, Nina who was super helpful and made the experience low stress and fun! Everyone was very professional and gave me the bridal experience I’ve always wanted. I was a little nervous because it was first time even trying on dresses but after going there I realized I didn’t even need to shop around and I love my Stella York beaded fit and flare! I liked that they didn’t feel as pushy as other stores in the area; I never felt like anyone was rushing me or pressuring me into a rash purchase and they even stayed open late just to take care of me.

I stopped by to talk to the girls that I had been emailing back and forth since I had a big problem at Davids Bridal and I just wanted to see what this Bridal Shop had to offer they welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door now I wasnt expecting to try on and everything I just wanted to talk to them but as soon as they heard what was going on they had me looking at dresses which all of them are gorgeous I spotted one as soon as I went in the back and Nina helped me try it on I absolutely fell in love with the dress and did not need to try on the other ones she had picked everything went so smoothly with no stress they are the friendliest most helpful girls that I have ever dealt with I will no longer go anywhere else if I need formal wear for anything I cannot wait to see you my dress and try on my dress and 12 weeks when it comes in you guys rock!!!!!!!!!!

What a glamorous store ! I was amazed by so many beautiful gowns and wonderful customer service. The atmosphere was great and the consultants were incredibly insightful. Loved my experience at this shop and will recommend to anyone getting married. Tha k you so much for an amazing experience.

Firstly, I understand that this place is more catered to brides than grooms. But, if you are going to offer mens suits and tuxedos, you should be very knowledgeable in the area. You have to set an appointment at this establishment, which I think when you set an appointment that time is specifically all about you and your needs, I mean that is what its for! We were greeted just fine, but this woman basically said sit over there on the couch, flip through the books and find what you want. I set an appointment with this place to have HELP!! My fiance and I obviously dont get married every day, so we dont know the process or anything about suits, if we did I would order what I want online. We proceeded to look through the books and found what we wanted, she didnt offer any help or insight about anything. She started filling out a form, took his measurements then wanted us to put our driver license credit card info. I was like absolutely not! She would have to wait until her boss came in because she wasnt sure how to do the process or what came next. After leaving that horrible place, we obviously didnt intend on buying from them. I received a call four days later, she said what did you come in for? I was like are you serious? She said I cant read the form, so I dont know. She didnt apologize or anything. She had no clue how to do her job and felt zero remorse. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service. This is suppose to be a happy time and they are suppose to make it easier for us, but that was not the case.

I went there to find a wedding dress and was stunned by the bad customer services I received. When I walked in no one was at the front desk to greet me and I had an appointment.After waiting for a while someone finally greeted me and told me that a shopping assistant would be with me in a few minutes. When the assistant came, she barely greeted me and took me to a rack of wedding dresses. Look at what you like here and let me know she said and was ready to take of , when my sister upset reprimanded her by telling her that she needed to help me find a dress by asking me what I like first. She came back to help me get change into several dresses and during the whole process I found the shopping assistant to be very cold and uncommunicative. When we left she did not even tell us good bye. During the whole process I felt as if she was bothered by me. Some of the dresses were beautiful, but for their price, you can definitely find something better somewhere else. Now you have been warned ^_^. If you are looking for a great shopping experience for your wedding dress avoid this place at all costs!!!

I came here with my mom, a bridesmaid, and my MOH. I was so in love with the personal and private experience we had! Nina was an awesome help! I showed her the types of dresses I was looking at and my budget. She pointed me in the right direction of what selection to look at and right when I felt overwhelmed and turned around, she already had close to 10 dresses in her hands for me to try. We definitely spent longer than the probably usual appointment but never once did I feel rushed! I love the Top 2 approach - you just keep 2 dresses in your top selection so that you can really narrow done what you love. After say 20 dresses later, I said yes to the dress!! This is the best bridal store I have ever visited. I bought my dream dress from here. As well as my bridesmaid and rented tuxes. Its a one stop shop I tell u.

When I began my search for a dress, I booked an appointment here, as well as 3 other bridal shops in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area - all in one day. This was the first place of the day and when I walked in, I really didnt have much of an idea of what I wanted and plenty of ideas of what I didnt want. Already, I was a difficult customer, but somehow, the first dress Ariel picked out for me fit perfectly (despite being a sample size) and felt really comfortable against my sensitive skin. I felt I shouldnt rush into a decision, so I tried on a few other dresses and went to the rest of my appointments for the day. Still, Ariel made note of the first dress on my profile/account, in case I wanted to take a second look. Later that day, I called back to ask about pricing and payment options for that first dress. I learned when a trunk show is had, dresses of that brand in the store are 10% off for the weekend - luckily, my dress was eligible! Another salesperson helped me the second day (I didn’t catch her name), but she was equally patient with me. When I decided to add a simple ribbon to the waist, which the store didn’t have on-hand, she used the end of a different belt to help me visualize the look and reached out to the manufacturer to have it ordered.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That was my experience with Posh. Im sure they do fine with basic alterations- the friend that referred me did not report any issues. But if you need alterations that are more extensive, go elsewhere. The price I was given for my alterations was on average $250 cheaper than every other quote I received, and now I know that was for a reason. When it was all said and done, my dream dress had the following issues:- The hem was higher off the floor on one side than the other- The hem was folded and cut so that the seam was bulkier on one side than the other- The dress was taken in roughly from a size 10 to a size 8 in the waist, but absolutely no alterations were done on the lining, resulting in the lining bunching up and not laying flat. There were 2 fistfuls of extra fabric underneath the dress.- Seams were left open both on the lining and the dress- Rather than opening seams and attaching the cups as I asked, they were simply tacked on. I WAS told after the fact, how hard it was to open up and get into the seams as if it had been done already, but when I removed the cups myself they came off without opening any seams at all.- Extra fabric in the neckline was folded over and tacked down, rather than cut out and the seam closed properly.- The neckline was stretched out, and gaped under the arms.The bustle was done beautifully, but everything else was a total disaster, and I was handed a dress 8 days before my destination wedding that was incomplete. I took it to another alterations company to be sure that I was not hallucinating, and they confirmed that my alterations were done sloppily. I asked for a refund of some kind, and was told they couldnt refund labor, but would provide me with a discount on anything they had on the floor should I need to purchase another dress. I took this to mean that they would give me an additional discount, not just the standard sample sale discount, but I was severely mistaken. In my state of panic (I was leaving town the next day) I ended up purchasing a second dress from them, which was also a mistake. I was deeply disappointed in the quality of the work, and not satisfied with the answers I received when I pointed out the issues in the photos attached.I just wish that they had told me up front that what I was asking was impossible. I showed pictures of the exact alterations I wanted during my initial consultation, and did not change any aspect of the design over the course of the 9 months that I was in communication with Tirza. This caused me more stress than I can begin to describe, since rather than picking up my dress and using the final 7 days to rest and tie up loose ends, I spent it looking for another dress, which is a brides worst nightmare. This had a domino effect on just about everything else, but based on the comments I got (Theres nothing wrong with the dress I dont understand why you dont like it) I dont think Tirza or anyone else at Posh seemed to understand the magnitude of this.

I had an amazing experience at Couture By Posh! I had never been dress shopping so I did not know what to expect aside from being uncomfortable. Thankfully, when Olivia called to confirm my appointment the day prior and I asked if there is anything I should bring or know before arriving I wore my spanx! Apparently, when dress shopping you do not usually wear a bra ( I had no clue ) and I would have felt completely exposed without my spanx ( had the shorts that go all the way up to the bra line). Alex was amazing as my consultant, I did not really have my heart set on any specific dress and she had me try on several different dress styles and colors. I felt like it was a friend helping me find the perfect dress she made the whole process so comfortable and pleasant.

I just bought my dress here! Ive been to four places and this is by far my favorite boutique. Amanda helped me out and I could really tell that she listened and tried to make sure I felt comfortable. She was so helpful! I got a very detailed dress with beading and bling and it was only $1499! It wouod have been double at any other boutique. The price is so amazing. If you dont go here you will truly regret it!!

Let me start by saying that we came across Posh Couture strictly with the intentions of buying mine and my sister’s maid of honor dresses for our sisters wedding. I never in a million years thought that I would be purchasing my own wedding gown from Posh, but Aerial is truly a gem to work with. She brought in gowns for me to try on that were drop dead knock out gorgeous dresses – one after another after another. I honestly didn’t know how I was going to pick my wedding dress of my dreams until she brought in the last one that she knew was going to be the best looking dress on me and would win me over instantly. And it did.But Aerial, Olivia and the owner Tearsa actually were miracle workers and saved my sisters wedding. The place where she bought her wedding gown from (long before she learned about Posh Couture) screwed up her entire gown two weeks before the biggest day of her life. My entire family was in tears; we didn’t know what we were going to do. The entire Posh crew assured us that they would help us to find a solution and to just come into the shop later that afternoon. We were so skeptical knowing how particular my sister is with her dresses, but headed into Posh with high hopes. Olivia made sure that we were taken great care of. Aerial knew exactly what wedding dress to pull off the rack for my sister and when she put it on her, she brought us all to tears. Not only was this wedding gown a million times more gorgeous than the original one, but my sister looked like a princess. And Tearsa worked miracles with alterations to make it fit her like it was made just for her. I will be back at Posh Couture for my wedding for bridesmaid dresses. I cannot brag enough about this wedding shop.Thank you to all the team members at Posh Couture!!!!

The staff at Couture by Posh Bridal really are good at reading their clients and helping the bride choose the dress that she has envisioned for herself on her wedding day.The ambiance of the store is soothing, and each time I went in the store, I have only ever seen the staff with act with kind, pleasant demeanor and a willingness to help their customers, even if that customer is not one they are working with at that time.On the first day of my wedding dress shopping experience, I had gone to Couture by Posh Bridal to look for my wedding gown right after horrible service I had at another bridal salon that same day. From the time I stepped into Couture by Posh Bridal, my experience was 100 times better.Throughout my whole appointment I never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision about a dress that I didn’t feel was right for me, my consultant Amanda (in addition to Olyvia) guided me into realizing which dress I felt was the best choice for me, not what they thought I should choose. They really took into account what I wanted my look to be and my price point.Because I knew I didn’t want a strapless gown and wanted material added to my dress in specific ways, they got creative and brought over material from another dresses to show me what adding it to my gown would look like, or took a dress with sleeves and held it behind my dress and slid the sleeve onto my arm to give me a visual picture of what it might look like.Tirza, who did the alterations for my dress was amazing, and she had an endless amount of patience with my indecisiveness in how I wanted my dress to look with attaching material to the bodice to make custom sleeves. Her artistic craftsmanship is top-notch and she is able to make additions to a wedding gown to make it look like the dress came that way. I left the store a couple times and called them back soon after because I realized what I had thought I wanted in the store was something I wanted after all. Posh by Couture Bridal was always understanding and was able to schedule me on short notice for a quick appointment to confirm or adjust my vision of my dress.Tirza and all the staff at Couture by Posh Bridal truly made all my wedding gown dreams come true and I highly recommend them to other brides wanting to feel just as perfect as I did in my wedding gown on my big day!

Not a great experience. Your money is better spent elsewhere.In short - they lost my bridesmaids measurements and had poor customer service. They also flipped on their measurement pricing policy.I came to Couture Bridal yesterday because I found out they were one of the few salons in the area that carried Christina Wu bridesmaids dresses. They also have a very convenient location to where I live. I was excited!I spoke to them on the phone, and the consultant told me that they can measure my girls for bridesmaids dresses free of charge if you purchase your dress with them. If not, measurements were $10-$15 each. They also mentioned they charge a $25 non-refundable fee to try on dresses.My bridesmaids and I arrived to our appointment on-time, and there were two people at the front desk. One person was helping someone in line ahead of me - which was fine. However, the other person sat there idly as we stood there waiting to be greeted and to receive instructions. This goes on for a few minutes.The sales consultant was nice enough. The appointment starts and Im pulling dresses. The consultant is letting us take photos and is helping us through the process.As the appointment wraps up, the consultant takes the measurements for my two girls I brought and submits them into the computer. She confirms that she has everyones information and gives me a receipt with the styles I was considering. I also asked to look at flower girl dresses and the consultant says I cant peek because their dress rack broke. I received no business cards for anyone there. Not an A+ experience, but certainly not an F.Thing go left when I called the salon today to ask for more info on a dress I was considering. They informed me that they lost the measurements for one of my girls. Because of their mistake, I asked them to refund me the $25 try-on fee back. She told me that since I was never informed on their policy, they do charge everyone for bridal measurements. And then she agreed to refund me and took my credit card number.The bridesmaid whose measurements were lost does not live close and lacks reliable transportation to make it back to the salon to get remeasured. Also, she assumed I never asked about their measurement policy - which I did. But now my question is - why are the people answering the phones telling clients about measurement policies that apply to some and not others?Wedding planning is stressful enough, and shopping for dresses should be the most exciting part of the experience for brides and their bridesmaids. A good salon will not only have the styles your looking for, but are happy to work with you and make the experience as pleasant as possible. They are also honest brokers when discussing policies.If mistakes are made, correct them with honestly and with compassion. Unfortunately, I did not have that experience with Couture Bridal.Take your time and money elsewhere.

My sister recently bought her wedding dress from Couture by Posh, and had a great experience. Why?1. They carry a wide range of sizes, so no matter if you are small or tall, thin or full figured, you can try on dresses and get an accurate idea of how they will look on you.2. Tirza. the owner, is a fabulous consultant. She spent a ton of time with my sister figuring out what looks best on her, helping her find a dress in her budget, and ultimately helping her create the exact look she wanted. We knew we were in the right place when we were looking on the racks for a dress, and Tirza came over and showed us how to make exactly what we wanted using some smart accessories and a flattering dress... AMAZING.3. The store is open and spacious, with plenty of designers to choose from. And anything thats no in store they can order... my sister ended up ordering a dress from a different line, that Tirza helped us find online...I highly recommend this store and am so glad we found it... Ill be back the next time I need a formal dress!

I live in NY but my bridesmaids are all in MD. Therefore, I made an appointment for my bridesmaids here because they carry the designers I really like. The shop is really cute. They do not have a wide variety of bridesmaid dresses nor sizes. They only carry one dress in one size for each style :/ But the main reason for the 2 stars is the lack of service and privacy. Although we arrived 15 mins early, we didnt get a fitting room until almost 30 mins after our scheduled appt start time. No one greeted me as I entered, I just stood there while two females fittled with computers until I asked if anyone was going to help me. The shop is small and it looks like they only had one huge mirror for all to share. As a bride I would want my own mirror and area to try on dresses (I bought my dress in NYC). There was also very little effort to help my bridemaids, it was mainly me pulling dresses. I have 5 in my bridal party which would have easily totalled over $1k in dresses. I fell in love with the Allure and Sorella Vita dresses but I will not have my bridal party purchase them thru this shop. The only thing I did like was the ease of making my appointment over the phone.

It was such a pleasure to work with Tearza and her team! I went into this store first by myself a few months after getting engaged to get a better idea of which styles I liked. I managed to find a few dresses that stood out and Olyvia helped me locate a few dresses I never thought I would like but loved when I tried them on! She offered to take a few photos of some of the dresses I tried on since my mom wanted to see but lives out of town. It was nice to have these because some of the dresses I tried on and liked in the store, after seeing the photo later I didn’t like the dress. I left and had gone to a few other shops in the area but none of them had the personal experience like Posh or the wide selection. I returned a few months later with a group from my bridal party, my mom, and mother-in-law but tried on even more different styles. Olyvia maintained her patience with my indecisiveness as it was hard to imagine what some of the dresses would look once they were fitted, but I found my dress during this visit! Tearza worked with me from that point forward, it was amazing to discover she and her partner do all of the alterations in-house. Once I found this out, I recommended her to my husband who needed help with alterations to his dress blues. He was super excited to find someone local that knew how to alter his attire within regulations. We both love the end product of our alterations! She fit my dress perfectly to my shape that it was actually comfortable to be in! I would get many more dresses from her shop if I had to!

I never write reviews, but I felt obligated to based on how bad my experience was. To be completely honest, my overall experience with this bridal salon was terrible. I made an appointment and when I arrived not a single person greeted me. Me and 5 other bridesmaids waited at the front desk for 15 minutes waiting for my consultant. When she finally arrived she failed to introduce herself and just brought me to the back with a heavy sigh. She did not ask me about my engagement , my fiance, or my wedding. She told me to look around and see what you like. I felt so neglected, and my bridesmaids were furious. Even though the appointment was impersonal, I ended up finding a dress I loved. My mother wasnt able to make the appointment so I wanted to facetime her and show her the dress. My consultant told me my time was up and that she had to leave to pick up her daughter. From the beginning, she did not tell me how long I had my appointment for, so how was i supposed to know?? I had to rush out of my dress, and never got to facetime my mom to show her. It was heartbreaking. I ended up getting the dress because i did truly love it and the price was perfect, 900$. I had to get the dress hemmed, added in cups, and i wanted a belt sewn on. When my dress came in i was SO excited to get the alterations done until......... they told me those 3 simple things would cost me 600$. WHAT!?!? I was dumbfounded. I could not believe it. The alterations would cost 2/3 of my dress, which they failed to tell me at my original appointment. I was teary eyed at the fact that I was going to have to go over budget and find a way to make it work. The store owner Tizra saw I was crying and said, there is a liquor store across the street to help with that EXCUSE ME. What terrible customer service. I couldnt believe it. When I had my alterations done the bustle was awful and was way too complicated to do. My maid of honor could not figure it out on wedding day, and I was unable to even use the bustle. What a disappointment. Finally, I ordered a veil from them that included a blusher. when my veil arrived there was no blushed attached. So they sewed it on in front of me at the front desk. I paid 200$ for the veil. WHAT A JOKE. Everything about this bridal salon was EXTREMELY unprofessional and my experience was one that i NEVER want to have again. I dreaded every time I had to go to get alterations done or pick up something. It was truly awful. i would never recommend this place to anyone, for the plain fact that the customer service was horrific. And its obvious that I am not the only person who feels this way based on other bad reviews.

Perfect! My daughter and I started our wedding gown shopping just by browsing. We made an appointment at Couture By Posh Bridal where she tried on a few gowns, and fell in love with a specific style; specifically two she liked. We was told there was a trunk show at the Urbana store, Posh Bridal, for the designer of dress she loved. They told us the dresses she liked in Gaithersburg could be brought to Urbana for her new appointment to compare to the trunk show. We were informed the gowns in the show would not be available for the public until the following year; we were so excited we went with family and friends. My daughter made her final decision a beautiful one of a kind Essense of Australia trunk show gown. We ordered the dress and it came in the time frame promised. Back at Couture by Posh bridal in Gaithersburg, we fell in love with Sorella Vita bridesmaid gowns that were the perfect color she was looking for. Again, they came in the time frame promised. Also, we ordered bow ties for the groomsmen, through Sorella vita, that matched the bridesmaids gowns exactly. I found a gown for me which Tirza, the seamstress and owner, altered it beautifully, and gave me ideas to make it even more special. Tirza added beading to the V neckline of my dress which turned out to be just what it was missing. I came in for multiple fittings to make all the adjustments to fit me properly. The flower girl dress was also accessorized by Tirza to match the bridesmaids which was so adorable. We also were able to purchase a beautiful tiara, earrings, and bracelet that matched the gowns so well. We are so grateful for the outstanding job from Couture by Posh Bridal and the work they did, and an extra special thank you to Tirza and Olyvia!

First of all let me say Im a person to never write reviews, but I felt obligated to write one for this place. Customer service is unexceptable and unprofessional worst experience ever!! Im literally 4 days away from my wedding which is this weekend. My fiancé and his groomsmen placed orders for their tuxedos months ahead of time and never got an email or a call until today to let my fiancé know that they have received all their tuxedos for them to try on, are you kidding me??! Well they went in to try them on it was a total disappointment!! The tuxedos did not fit them not even one groomsmen as they were told before they made the order and mind you that they were told everything was going to fit them fine when my fiancé had asked many questions and was very specific on letting them know that they wanted the pants and jacket to fit them according. All that money for nothing, so now all the groomsmen have to go somewhere else to find last minute tuxedos if they can even find anything. This should be a time for the bride and groom to enjoy not a time to be frustrated, worried or stressed!! I WILL NEVER AGAIN BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO NEAR THIS BRIDAL STORE! Youre better off going to Davids Bridal, Mens Wearhouse where they do, do theyre job right.

First, let me say that I typically do not write reviews, but if I feel so inclined to do so, its because I had an incredible experience with a business and I want to be sure to give credit where credit is due. If I have a bad experience with a business, I always give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they just had an off day. But let me tell you, unless Posh has been having an off MONTH, they are subpar in customer service and salesmanship. I have been a bridesmaid in 7 weddings to date and NEVER, have I ever, had so many issues dealing with a so called upscale bridal boutique. I receive better service at McDonalds.For the current wedding Im in (2 weeks away, mind you), it took a total of 5 phone calls over a 3 week period (4 from the bride herself and one from me, the MOH) to FINALLY get someone to tell us when the bridesmaid dresses would be in. When we initially ordered them way back when, the shop said, 12-16 weeks but they usually arrive on the earlier side. Well, we received ours at the end of week 16. Each time we called to ask for tracking, the best they could do was say, Looks like theyve shipped (on August 20). Well let you know when theyre in. But they were unable to track the dresses while they were in route. So apparently it took 18 days from ship to arrival? Somethings not adding up. I order my toilet paper from Amazon and receive tracking information, apparently its not the same for an expensive dress. Give me a break. And when I called and left a message for the manager, I told her to call ME back, not the bride. She had been strung along and stressed out by them far too long. But no, they ignored my request and called the bride, who then frantically called me. The lack of customer service etiquette is reprehensible.Also, the bride requested IN WRITING that as soon as the dresses came in, they were to be overnighted to the select bridesmaids who reside out of state AND since Posh was sending them, the bride wanted to receive tracking. Well, guess what? They ignored her email and decided to send ground. How did we find this out? The one bridesmaid living in Seattle had to email the shop asking where her dress was and the manager responded and stated that unless requested, they dont do overnight shipping. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So now two bridesmaid need to have rush alterations ($$$). Fantastic. Posh isnt paying for it nor receiving money from it, so why should they care? Oh, thats right, they dont and theyve made that quite clear.Another thing, when I received an email from Posh on Friday the 9th; stating that my dress was ready for pickup, they ask that I please respond to let them know when Id be coming in. I responded within 20 minutes and said; Wonderful, Ill be in on Monday shortly after opening. Welp, received no response (even though they were open all weekend) and on Monday, discovered they were closed. I actually laughed. Was I on hidden camera?They have done nothing but made this entire process miserable and have shown no interest in righting their wrongs. They seem to have an Oh well mantra. Do yourself a favor and visit Icon Bridal and Formal in Darnestown. Its the sweetest little bridal boutique. Ask for Connie. Unlike Posh, they have a 5 star rating.
