I had my first waxing with Sharon today and I could not be more happy. Her service was great and took her time to make me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Can’t see myself going with anyone else!

Had one good and one bad experience here. The first time I went was wonderful, I had no issues and left happy. The second time, the wax tech did not bother to ask me about the two heat rashes I had before going ahead and waxing over them… twice, causing me a good deal of pain and causing me to bleed. I complained to the company and they offered me $10 off my next appointment… which I think should have instead been either a refund or a free waxing (with a different tech).

I ABSOLUTELY love Destiny! She is by far the best! She is efficient, quick and it’s painless. She pays attention to detail and will ensure that ALL the hairs are out. She’s friendly and down to earth. Everyone needs to book with Destiny, I promise you you’ll love the results. I will not book with anyone else but Destiny!

UPDATE: This place is under new management and the manager is delightful! I worked with her to resolve any remaining issues in my account and have not had a problem since. I am pleased with the fresh start!Sharon is great! Quick, gentle, and knowledgeable . There is also a very nice young woman at the front desk, Edith, who introduced me to all that EWC has to offer, which was a missed opportunity on this locations behalf the first time around. Although, I am very concerned about the billing practices at this location, Edith went ABOVE AND BEYOND to restore my confidence. I will return based on her 5+ star service alone.Long story short: Ask for a paper receipt and keep an eye on your accounts.Detailed Version: I visited this location for the first time in July, was advised my services were free, and generously tipped my waxer for a job well done. I provided my credit card information to pay for the tip and to remain on file for future services. I visited this location again a month later (August) and decided to buy two wax passes. Upon electing to use the card on file, I noticed something was not right when the card was declined for a subsequent transaction. I attempted to verify the payment information on site, paid for the remaining services with my physical card, and went home to investigate.Upon discovering that neither the tip nor the first wax pass appeared on my account, I knew someone elses payment information was attached to my account. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Edith verifying that another client was billed for my services. I provided the payment information over the phone to pay for the wax passes and tip from the prior visit. After being informed that one of my services was not free during my first visit, I was advised the manager would contact me to resolve the discrepancy before processing the transaction.Well the manager never contacted me, but Edith graciously called back to assure me that I would only be charged $15 for the prior service. I greatly appreciated Edith’s efforts to investigate and resolve the error for myself and the affected client. However, upon learning that the company would deduct the wax specialist’s tip to recoup the lost funds due to front desk staff error, I decided to pay for the service. It was not within Edith’s power to comp the service, and it is simply not fair to penalize the wax specialist for something beyond her control.Based on prior reviews, it appears billing errors have happened before. Although this is a new location, these type of errors are very concerning for a well known establishment. EWC take heed, Edith is truly a shining star who understands the art of customer service and management. If it was not for her diligence and grace, I would not have returned. She is an invaluable asset to this company.

I saw Sharon today for a wax and she was so gentle, fast and extremely professional! I will definitely be back to see her!

I had my very first full Brazilian wax experience with Destiny and could not be happier. She was super inviting, calming, and precise. Go to Destiny!!! She was quick, efficient, relaxing and professional! She got ALL the hairs!! She put BIG pieces of wax to get the hairs out faster and didn’t have to go over the same spot more than twice!!!! Let’s just say...Hubby approved! Office staff were all friendly. Covid precautions!(I would post a pic but those parts wouldn’t be allowed on here 😂).

Overall was good but the big front desk there was so rude and she talk so loud like Im so far from her. Also she is tripping me out. She mentioned that she cannot find my passes that i subscribe (She was having an attitude) So i told her okey let me call the other wax center that i used to go to and confirm it. So, basically she is lazy looking for my information and she didnt even say my apologies madam or what so ever. She makes me feel that it is my fault! I dont like that kind of aura! By the way it is my first visit in this specific area but I dont want to come here again. I even asked the first time if i can get discount one of the lady says “yes sure once you come back we will give you discount” but when i got back from my wax session and repeat what i said earlier about discount the big rude lady says no! I cant get discount even it is my first visit in that place! But she didn’t explain why? I cannot get discount?! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻

First time for a Brazilian and I went with Sharon, she was amazing! She was so patient and walked me throughout the whole process. So worth it!

If you’re planning to get wax please make an appointment with Destiny. I promise you she won’t disappoint . It was my first time and she made me laugh, made me feel so comfortable that it was painless. She is so professional and excellent at what she does. 100% recommend.

I love Armani. I have followed her because she is 100% amazing. My wax is always almost pain free and quick. Her ability to keep me calm while doing a strategic job is more than what I can ask for. Book with Armani. You will be satisfied every time. I wouldnt drive 45minutes if she was not the best.

I love going here and the technicians are fantastic. However, quite disappointed that I had to call myself to reschedule my appointment that was abruptly cancelled yesterday to only be told everything was booked up for 2 weeks.Disappointed in the poor customer service.

So thrilled I decided to book an appointment at this location. It had been a while since I’ve gone in for waxing services. From the inception of my booking experience to my arrival everything was exceptional and professional. Clarissa handled the scheduling of my appointment. Upon confirmation I received my reminder notices via sms and email. Once I arrived at their facility. I was greeted by Clarissa who promptly acknowledge me with a warm welcome while tending to other clients. I was then taken back by Simmi. She was very professional and accommodating to my current state of waxing experience. She did a great job and let’s just say, “ The landing strip is All Clear.” I will definitely be sure to book here again. Thanks again ladies.

Very clean, professional and friendly staffs. Compare to other waxing places, which are not as clean and convenient as this place and don’t have these many professional staffs, the price is really worth it.

I just moved to Rockville and this giathersburg location had a opening. After a few reviews I decided to book with Sharon and I think the system had an error which told me my appointment was at 2:30 instead of 3. However, the girls at the front were really nice and found me an appointment with someone else. I really appreciated it. Colleen was my water and she was really sweet and kind, but this wasnt a good wax. Ive been getting Brazilians for 4 years now. It was pretty painful and she didnt get all the hair. I thought she was thorough and got everything since it seemed like a longer wax then usual. A lot of hair was left over in the middle area which I had to take care of myself when I got home. She got all the bikini line but not the rest which was really frustrating. She was really nice but not the best quality for a wax. The girls at the front are sweet and couldnt find my wax pass since the system was slow but took care of me either way. Overall the reception is nice and its clean, but Id recommend someone else.

Ive come to this EWC location quite a few times now, and I have to say both Destiny and Marisella have been absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend both wax specialists!

Usually, I go to Silver Spring or College Park EWC, but I was in the area so I decided to go to this location. Colleen was amazing with my second Brazilian wax! I’m sensitive down there but she made the process much easier! The receptionist was also super welcoming. Will def be making the trip from college park to here from now on.

My original appointment was with Destiny however she was running a little behind. I decided to go to the next available person, and her name was Tanairy. She was friendly, gentle and quick. I think Ill be going back to her.

It was my first time coming to this location the receptionist was amazing and informative on products even got me a discount for my first time visit and suggested serum to me for after care and told me about the passes and the discounts that come with the passes I don’t remember her name but she was African American decent and had tattoos my waxer was Colleen she was so funny and make me feel good comfortable and she was very attentive also with my bikini area and also any in grown hairs I had Amazing service will definitely go again

Armani is so gentle, she’s sweet, compassionate and you can tell she loves her clients. If you’re hesitant to go here, don’t be. Highly recommend

The ladies were so nice and professional. Sharon gave me my first ever Brazilian and she talked me through the whole thing. She was so personable, I never felt self conscious, and it didnt even hurt that bad, she had me laughing through the entire process! I definitely will be back!

Armani comes from The Silver Spring Euporean Wax Center I been going to her for months. Armani is so amazing, nice and gently when she is waxing you. Now Armani is at this location and now that I found her I’m will follow Armani everywhere she goes. Go to her is no one else like her.

I am new to the area and went there for a Brazilian wax as a first time customer. The receptionist was nice and maintained proper social distancing protocil. Terry, who did my wax, was nice as well. The waxing felt pretty rushed and it was odd that she finished everything in less than 20 minutes. I just figured it was probably due to covid that she did everything so quickly but also thought shes experienced based on her demeanor. I got home and showered and found tons of random hair scattered that was not properly waxed. If it wasnt covid, I wouldve gone back to get them removed. Pretty disappointed.

I started going to this EWC location since August 2020, It’s a new location and I love that it is so much closer to home and the waxers are amazing! I’ve always had great services and I have nothing to complain about. Those in the Gaithersburg/Germantown/Clarksburg area this is the place to go! I’ve been seeing Sharon and she’s AMAZING. I’m always comfortable, she takes her time and she does a great job!

I have been getting Brazilian waxes for a decade and I have never had a more comfortable wax than I did at EWC in Gaithersburg. Tanairy did an amazing job. Their prices are also significantly lower than anywhere else I’ve tried. Highly recommend!

Sharon is the best waxer I have been too out of all the EWC I been too (from the west coast to the East). She’s quick has good techniques for the more sensitive strips when getting a Brazilian ! 10/10 !
