Buy the dealer first then pick the boat... With the volume of boat sales in todays market you can you can quickly find out who is there to service and establish relationships with life-long customers vs those that are there just simply churn out volume and dollars. Dealers are selling so many boats that their service departments dont have the manpower to keep up with the needs of their owners. While I dont know the number of boats The Boat Shop sells I do know that they have consistently provided the highest level of care for my boat when Ive had issues. Ive owned a number of boats and Im probably what most would refer to as a difficult customer but the bottom line is that you will have an issue with any boat. The key thing to think about is how quickly can they get me back on the water when you do have an issue. The Boat Shops answer to this question is why I bought from them and I can attest that they absolutely have delivered on that. Absolutely the best service Ive had on any vehicle ever - far exceeds luxury auto makers like Porsche and BMW. I love my Centurion and am already looking forward to getting my next boat from The Boat Shop when the time is right!

The guys at the boat shop have always done awesome work on my boat. Today however they knocked it out of the park. While prepping to put my boat in the water for some early season fun I had 2 issues pop up that I figured would take some time to diagnose and resolve. Dropped it off in the morning and by the afternoon they had everything fixed and running 100%. Ben and the team are always top notch with their service.

I will never take any boat that I own to any other shop. The love I have for my boat deserves the utmost respect and the guys at the boat shop treat her like a queen. Ben and his team did a great job on my boat and installed some awesome led lights, see pic. I had a glitch after getting my boat. Put it in the water and after two minutes the engine overheated. I called the shop and they were closed so I left a message with little hope I would get a response. After about 5 minutes Josh returned my call and I explained my problem. He met me back at the boat shop right away and stayed to get the problem resolved so I could get the boat back in the water for the weekend. Turns out it was a defective part and Ben, Josh and the team took care of me without hesitation. That kind of service has made me a loyal customer and I will always return for my services and needs.

The Boat Shop team does a first class job. I recently had my 21ft Everglades 210CC with a 200HP Honda serviced. In addition to the motor servicing I needed gelcoat repairs done to my fish box hatch and paint touch up on the motor cover. The guys do excellent work at a fair price. They even had the boat cleaned up when I picked it up! The store and shop is super clean and the owners are honest and knowledgeable.

Bought a 2016 Centurion SV233 from Mac at The Boat Shop last month. First-time boat owner! Good buying process as the crew over at boat shop was patient with me and took time to answer my many, many questions. They also work with a professional financing team that was very quick. This review though, is really about Ben and his service team: I got stuck on Allatoona last weekend with a locked-up starter. I did some work on my own and figured during season I was going to have to learn to replace it myself if I wanted to get back on the water this weekend. Typical turnaround during season is 2-3 weeks at best! One call into Ben and he said bring it over and he’ll work it in. Yeah right, I thought. Well, I towed it over to him first thing Friday morning, and there was already an email in my inbox by the time I got home that it was indeed the starter. His team replaced it that day, and even squeezed in a lake test to tweak one of my fill gates. I had my centurion the next morning and was teaching my girls’ friends how to surf that afternoon! I came away super impressed and grateful I decided to buy from Boat Shop versus many other options I was considering. Awesome. Thanks Ben, Mac, and team!!

I purchased a used boat from Mac and Ben. I was told the boat had 340 hours on her. The boat had 680 hours. I was told the boat had the original engine, it did not. I had to spend $3000.00 to repair the poor engine install. When buying a used boat you expect to have some expensive repairs, but you also expect a business to be honest. Ben was of no help to resolve the issues. Learn from my lesson and buy a boat elsewhere.A reply to the owner’s reply.A low offer was not presented. The boat was purchased for $500.00 below the advertised price. The 98 model boat was sold as a 99. This is the main problem. Ben sold me a boat that had more hours then advertised, older model then advertised, without the original motor as promised.Do yourself a favor a buy from an honest dealer not the fraud at The Boat Shop.Zero stars would be more appropriate.

I am now on my 7th boat after 15 years boating. I have purchased from individuals, and other dealers. I live over two hours away and purchased from Mac & Ben for two reasons. 1. The superiority of the Centurion surf wave. 2. The superiority of the service they offer.Most recently I grounded my prop and let them know, Ben was kind enough to meet me at the shop and diagnose the problem, make certain the shaft and strut were okay and lake test for any unseen issues. The man met me to lie in the floor and assist me on his day off. This kind of service is almost no-existent in todays world and is valued by me over all else.Do yourself a favor and take advantage of what they have to offer.

I’m assuming all the 5 stars here are from friends and people with plenty of disposable income. This is not the place to go if you’re looking for value. Plenty of other shops in the area with better value and quality service.

I was hesitant due to it being a small shop and usually that means prices are higher due to they don’t have the volume of service and sales. Now I won’t go anywhere else.I had a Malibu VLX they helped answer any questions about the work the other shop was doing without evening wanting anything in return. I also have a close friend with an 90 mastercraft the ignition was going bad. They fixed it right away and we’re more than fair about the urgency because we all wanted to get on the lake that day.Now I grew up and mainly was a Malibu guy wanted to go away from inmar motors plus the quality of the new ones made me hesitate. Mac and Ben showed me everything about Centurions and did not pressure me at all. They took me on a couple demos without question or trying to pressure me into the boat that day. The other dealers I was looking at only cared about selling me the boat that day they did not care about me taking my time in choosing the right boat for my family. Mac and Ben worked with me and built me a boat that I’m sure my family will love. Top notch service and personable people to work with.
