My wife and I had a great experience today at Rug & Home in Gaffney. Friendly staff, helpful and the selection of items are very unique and the quality is excellent.We purchased an 8x10 rug that we couldnt be more pleased with and we also purchased a wall canvas which is exactly want we needed for our living room wall.

Recommended. We really like this place and have purchased several items here. They have lots of variety to explore and we seem to find just the right thing on every visit.The staff have always been attentive and delightful. Everything we have bought felt like a good value and has lasted well.

I first bought rugs 17 years ago at Rug & Home and have been a steady customer since for rugs and accessories. Last week I took my parents to the store. They had bought a new home in the area with all hardwood floors and wanted several rugs. My mom had a throw pillow, a vision in her mind and pictures on her phone. We met Lynn Turner who I later learned was the Queen of Rugs. She was awesome. She listened to their needs, their wants and took the time to make suggestions and ask questions. She knew her inventory and led us time upon time to the perfect rug. We never felt rushed. Senior citizens don’t always enjoy that kind of professional and respectful attention. Thank you, Lynn. The entire staff went beyond good service to a stellar level. We bought 4 rugs with pads, and we’ll be back for more in a couple of weeks. Thank you all at Rug & Home for a truly enjoyable experience. I will never fail to tell any potential rug-buyer that there is simply no reason to go anywhere else.

Mike really helped us out a ton with selecting a rug that met our style and budget! The store has an amazing selection of rugs that fit all budgets, styles, and size requirements! The furniture is amazing, too, and there are always great deals going on!

Good selection and helpful salespeople. I have had my large area rug less than a year and have had to sew some of the binding. Today I noticed a large loop pulled up so that I can see the backing of the rug. I paid close to $900 so not pleased with the quality.

The employees are friendly and really take their time helping you find what you want.

I was moving my daughter into college and needed a rug for her dorm room. When we walked in we were greeted right away with a very friendly hello. This store gave superior service from the time we walked in until the time we left. This was our first visit but there will definitely be more!!

What a great store! They have tons of rugs in all shapes and sizes... From whole room size to side of the bed size. We were specifically looking for an indoor/outdoor rug to put on our new screened-in porch. This was the first place we looked after searching online some. Its so much better to see a rug in person! We walked in, they directed us to the location in the store and called an associate to come help us. Within minutes we had help from a salesperson and very quickly found one that coordinated with our cushion and deck sample we brought along. Didnt really expect to purchase this trip but when you find the right one... Decided to just look around at other stuff while we were there and of course came up with other areas that could use a rug. Well be back later for more. Also rode the escalator upstairs and wandered through a whole floor of furniture. Some great looking stuff! Will definitely keep this place in mind when we need a bed or a chair or couch or coffee table...

My experience at Rug and Home in Gaffney was excellent! The staff, especially Charlotte, were extremely knowledgeable in helping me find the perfect rug for my space. They took into account many factors, including my dark hardwood floors, the high-traffic area it was going in, and along with the fact that I have a dog- all culminating to a durable, dog-friendly rug that was the perfect color; a great addition to my living room space. Would highly recommend this location and staff!

She asked me the style I was looking for and off we went to view the rugs I needed to see. She held up my fabric swatches and wall paint colors for me to photograph. We recently purchased a rug for our living area at Rug and Home, but we were hesitant that it may not be exactly what we were looking for in that room. The sales representative was very helpful and assured us that it could be returned. The rug looked and fit the room perfectly! The quality was great as well. We are 100% pleased with the purchase and help we received. We plan another purchase for the bedroom soon!

When we went into the store the first time, Matt Jackson helped my wife and I find a nice rug that was in the design, color, and size that we were looking for. Matt was very willing to pull rugs off of the racks and put them on their show floor for us to see, and everyone was very willing to help us. The store has a type and size of rug for anyone as the selection is very large and broad (from small childrens rugs to runners to traditional to outdoor and everything in between). The rugs appeared to all be of great quality and none appeared to be cheaply made, regardless of the price-point. The prices appeared to be reasonable for all of the rugs that we looked at. The store also carries higher-end rugs that are hand-knotted that I would assume would be of a higher quality. We bought one rug that was a little too small so we decided to take it back. For the second purchase, the manager assisted us in finding a rug that we saw online that was in stock. The return process was smooth and there were no issues. They were very eager to make sure we were satisfied with the second purchase. We would by from them again. I would definitely recommend this as your last stop if you are in the market for a new rug (or furniture from their up-stairs showroom) - ask for Matt - hell take of you.

Wow. Rugs everywhere! We managed to pick two we liked that werent very expensive. Salesman was helpful as well. Of course showed us pricier rugs first. Price wasnt the factor. Look and size were.

MY husband and I visited the store last weekend. We purchased a runner and lg area rug for our family room. Prices are great, and so is the quality of the items we purchased. We plan to go back (we live in Atlanta, GA) whenever we get a free weekend to purchase another area rug, for the dining room. Thats how much we love the one we got for the living room. Good selections at good prices. We were able to find a 9x13 oriental rug and matching 2.3x7.6 runner. Colors worked great with our room decor. Like the policy of 7 day return even though it was not needed / necessary.

Great selections of rugs and furniture not found in the regular big box stores. We were able to find 4 unique counter chairs for our new kitchen. Sales staff were very helpful. They even had a team to wrap each of our chairs in foam wrap to protect them for their trip home. I would highly recommend Rug and Home if you are looking for great pieces at reasonable pricing.

Awesome! We stopped here to pick out a couple of smaller rugs. Wanda immediately took us to the section we were looking for, and quickly figured out our taste. She quickly found a collection of rugs that suited our needs perfectly, and we took one home right away. This store has a huge variety of rug styles and sizes to choose from. Best selection and prices of any store Ive visited. Everyone employee (from forklift operators to managers) at this location is so eager to help. They want to help you make the best choice for your home. They even encourage you to go upstairs and look at the rug from the top floor so you get the full experience. And once you get upstairs you will not want to leave. I love to walk around the entire showroom to get decorating ideas. Great place to shop! (And if by some chance the rug doesnt work once you get it home...no hassle return!) You cant beat that!

We had bought a rug online that we hadnt noticed had bleached spots in it on purpose. We couldnt tolerate it and had to spend $193 to send it back! We went to Rug and Home and found exactly what we wanted! Margaret, our salesperson, was nice and very patient with us as we made our selections.

We found an incredibly unique breakfast table with four chairs and matching bar stools. Wed been looking for something with character for weeks, but didnt know about this store until we stopped by. This is a horrible company that doesnt honor the prices advertised online and they are full of excuses. I shopped a sale and because of a mistake they cancelled my orders (the email actually stated I cancelled my order when I did NOT!) and didnt try to work with me or offer any form of compensation for my inconvenience. Highly disappointed in this company. There is a Rug & Home local to me and Id rather buy a Walmart rug then shop with this company.

I visited Rug & Home on a Monday to look for a rug for my apartment. I was greeted upon arrival by a friendly sales associate who was able to direct me to the size rug I wanted/needed. While looking at the HUGE selection of rugs, another sales associated checked in with me and asked if I needed any help. Overall I felt that the store and their workers were dedicated and there to help. I found a rug that I loved for a great price too!

Great experience at Rug & Home. It is almost impossible for me to pick out rugs on my own and know that they will look great in my house. Angela Davis was very patient and helpful. Rug and Home has beautiful rugs! I was able to order two custom sized rugs for my home. I had to call back a few times for status updates, but in the end, I received the special orders with no issue. I plan to visit again soon for another rug!

Walking into this store was overwhelming, so many rugs, so many styles. We were introduced to Design Consultant Margaret Marshall. Margaret patiently guided us through the options in the sizes we were looking for and quickly figured out what we might like, then helped us narrow down the selection pool. I like that they lay your choices down on the floor to get a better view of how they will look in your home. Margaret pulled out paint strips to see how the ones we chose matched to our walls, and helped us, thru photos, to see how they look with existing furniture. I like that they give you 7 days once rugs are delivered to be sure you made the right choice. All of the time Margaret spent with us in the selection process made that unnecessary. The ones we chose look great! She made an overwhelming process much easier with excellent results!

We went here shopping for a rug for our living room and were quite successful. The selection process was easy, the salespeople friendly but not overbearing, and the prices were great. Id seen a rug I liked at another furniture store, and Rug & Homes price on it was nearly 25% less!

I am pleased with my purchase from Rug & Home in Gaffney. My spouse and I stopped to look around at rugs. While looking around we saw the perfect mirror to go above our mantle. Tammie Brooks was very helpful. She checked on us as we were looking and even brought the measuring tape so we could double check the dimensions. Terrible service!! Sofa set was ordered wrong, table top warped, dining room chair dropped and damaged; yes, they fixed what was wrong but we ordered it in May and didnt get this resolved until November. Once more, they never called and kept us updated; we ALWAYS had to call them for information. Would not recommend them at all.

[BEWARE] If I could pay to rate this place lower than 1 star and still have this review show up I would. We purchased a rug for $449 after a 10% discount because of a subtle stain on February 21st, 2015. After 2 months of ownership the rug started to come undone on one end. When we called back to explain what was going on they asked us to send pictures to verify. They apologized and said to bring it back AN HOUR AWAY FROM WHERE WE LIVE so they could fix it. Obviously this would and should have been covered EXCEPT that their policy is that if you get a discount, for whatever reason, it is considered As Is and you have no warranty or coverage. Since the damage is beyond repair they said, in so many words, there is nothing they could do except offer us $40 off of another rug. So essentially they are willing to give us a discount of 10% and a big f.you because we bought a discount item. What makes this worse is that they waited until we left the rug there to call us with the crap news and the manager was available to tell the person on the phone to tell us no but theyre werent available to talk to us in person, FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. After seeing that there would be no customer service I asked if business was so good that they only need people to buy there once and I was told I really cant answer that. Of course you cant Bri. Thank you so much for teaching us a $449 lesson in customer service. Working with Margaret was a joy when I was shopping for a new rug for my foyer. She was very knowledgeable and was a big help deciding which ones would go well with my current rugs. I was able to take 2 rugs home to see how they looked in the space which was very helpful. This is my second rug purchase from Rug and Home and Im sure I will be back..

We spent a couple of hours searching through the hundreds of rugs in the size we needed. Matt was patient and a wonderful help as we tried to find not one, not two, but three rugs of three different but complimentary styles and shades. We found them and they look amazing in the church foyer. Thanks to Matt and the staff for all the help!

TLDR; this place is a scam. Low quality rugs, fake discounts, and the salesmen are commission based. Upon return of my rug, salesman and a few managers tried every tactic in the sales book to get me to keep it. Including intimidation. Dropped a star for that. Go to a real rug company instead.

We were looking for an affordable rug for my mom and thought we would just go look. We assumed we would not be able to find anything there in her price range -- $300 --- but boy we were wrong!! We had them pull down 4 rugs for us to look at and ended up making a purchase on a beautiful wool rug! Not the cheapy thins one like you find at the big box stores. The sales lady was super nice and let us look on our own....no pressure! I have bought several rugs from here in the past, but never shopped the clearance section. I will next time ... great deals on beautiful rugs!!!

The shopping experience at Rug & Home can be whatever you want and need it to be. Its a huge place with an overwhelming selection and price points to match anyones budget. We visited the first time because we saw a billboard from the highway and wanted to see what was there. We werent ready to buy anything but we knew we would return when the time was right.Yesterday I returned to do some serious shopping and Matt Jackson was just the right person to help me. I generally like to look a lot before taking a sales associates time and Matt hit the perfect balance for me. He was there to get me started and then he left me alone. He was attentive but didnt hover.Sometimes I would mark rugs when I didnt think he was around but he somehow was keeping track of the things I liked and was able to figure out my preferences (probably better than I could myself) and guide me toward other rugs I might like.It was a productive shopping trip for a person who hates spending money on big ticket items. I bought one rug and will definitely make a return trip soon to look for coordinating items to complete our remodel project.
