I was looking for a small plastic pool for the children and it turns out that Walmart, Home Depot, and target on Shaw Avenue are out of stock. This ace hardware location has the item I need in stock, and variations of it. Definitely recommend this place. Also, they are open early in the morning on a Sunday. When I called to ask about the pool, the customer service was excellent.

Seems like every time I need just one or two things I can always find them here. If they dont carry it they know where to send me to pick it up.I would shop here if you need basic stuff, they are a small neighborhood hardware store. Not a big box store. But the best customer service ever.Highly recommend.

I love the non big- box hardware stores that can actually answer your questions and l also every staff member I had the privilege of interacting with were both friendly, understanding and knowledgeable, its always a plus when you can go to a hardware store and actually have questions that are actually answered!

Couple of us old codgers went in with vague descriptions of what we needed & we were treated with patience & respect by the young lady clerk up front & an older guy who knew his stuff. Got exactly what we needed in record time in a pleasant fashion. This ACE had the feel of a local family store. Will definitely return!

Every visit I can usually find what I need, and most times theres little to no wait to checkout. Hardly ever crowded and always someone greeting you as you walk in. Online orders are ready for pickup within 1-2 hours if not first thing next day. The only downside is they dont stay open very late.

Excellent service and knowledge and selection...... they ALWAYS have what I need, with their friendly help (especially on our pool water). they test it and advise ONLY what you need. AND... today, Thursday, at the counter, the owner asked if I was over 60 (Im 74 - nice question) and said that every Thursday over 60 gets a tax discount (8.2%)... How great is that???? GO HERE FIRST... local owned and so nice and a Super shopping experience... especially in todays world with big box stores and help so hard to find.....

I live close to the store so I stop by frequently and every time the staff is helpful and friendly. Im so glad to have them nearby for all my repair needs. Also, they have a good selection of replacement nuts, bolts and screws.

Always helpful, always knowledgeable. Even on small items, the staff goes out of its way to help you fix/solve your problem. Definitely a people-oriented store. They know their stock well. It is such a contrast with some of the larger stores where staff dont know stock or solutions and who often do everything they can to avoid getting stopped to answer questions.

I ordered an Turkey fryer during my lunch break online..The system sent me an email confirming it was ready for pick up..I drove across town from Clovis to pick it up..Only to have the mgr telling me she could not process the order & sent the purchase order back..I asked for a refund & she said she cant give me my refund & advise me to call an 800 for my refund..Called the 800# & spoke with a customer rep & she decides to call the store..Somehow the mgr was able to get my refund processed after speaking with the customer rep from the 800#..I asked if the phone call was being recorded for quality assurance & training purposes & the customer rep told me it was..I went on record stating the following:The store manager could have resolved this without discriminating me by making me call corporate..I felt that the mgr discriminated against me by not giving me my refund..Instead,She gave me loop holes to go thru, which could have been protocol..She could have avoided all this simply by giving me my refund the same way she refunded my purchase with the customer repo..All of this could have been avoided if she looked beyond the color of my skin & the content of my character..Maybe she discriminated against me for thinking I would not have enough knowledge to get my answers or a solution resolved immediately..Maybe..I also made sure that no other customer should have to go thru what I went thru..This is unacceptable, we are living in the new century where people shouldnt be discriminated against..So sad anyone should have to go thru this bc I like Ace Hardware too..

The best national hardware chain. Ace has nuts and bolts and other small things that home depot wont have for a million years, or if they did it would take as long to find it. Sometimes they have popcorn.

I always appreciate the service I get at this hardware store. If I know what I need they always let me know where to find itIf I need some solutions to a problem, they make reasonable solution suggestions, and go with me to get the appropriate supplies.

My boy friend and I were just in this store and were treated like we were thieves. Upon entering this store ,we were rudely greeted by.what I would assume was the person in charge. There were no other customers in the store and 2 employees behind the checkout counter. We asked if they had a certain.product that .Ace hardware carries. This rude and judgemental woman started leading my boyfriend to the area it was in,while I was headed toward the gardening supplies , but suddenly she stopped and barked at her employee you watch him. I stopped immediately and headed toward the store exit. Then this woman had the audacity to tell my boyfriend they didnt carry it. Well we went online to see if they had it in stock and guess what ... they did!! i have never been treated so badly in my life. I felt she had profiled us before we even entered the store. I dont know if she has a problem with gay men but how unprofessional can someone be!! I will be calling Ace Hardwares coporate office tommorow morning about this ! I have been an Ace Hardware customer for 20 years but after today I think ill go elsewhere!
