I highly recommend this auto repair shop because the owner strives to earn your trust as a customer by providing honest, quality work. I have taken my Dodge Caravan here a couple of times and the staff never pushes any services that I dont really need. Since the staff have gotten to know me, they treat me like family. David, the owner, even changed my rear turn signal light himself for free last Saturday. I am pleased to have found a shop close to home whom I can rely on and trust. Honest people and nice work! Price is reasonable. I felt sorry that my 80-year-old father kept asking tons and tons of questions while David was busy with the business, and I appreciated it very much that David spent so much time explaining all the details about the repairs of my fathers car to my father.

The staff and mechanics here are knowledgeable and courteous, they diagnose the problems quickly & accurately, and fix them professionally. I have my Lexus and Audi serviced for scheduled maintenance, brakes, cooling system, timing belts etc. all clean and nice. Two thumbs up!

I took my Honda Odyssey for brake service as I wasnt sure if its all working correctly . I was under the impression that there may be a problem with rotor, break pad etc. I requested QualityAuto to check and let me know what happening. They were able to work on my car in just 30 mins of my arrival. I was expecting some or the other findings and ready for $300 to $400 . To my surprise , I was told that every thing is working fine ! I am yet to visit an auto repair store and get to know that everything is working and I dont have to pay anything. I offered to pay towards the services to check brakes but the owner refused to take any such service fees. I can confirm that they are honest auto shop I have ever visited. I would be their customer for life.

I got a diagnostic for $120 someone in the reviews said they were charged $60 not even a year ago. For this price, they were hardly telling me the work needed on my car or how my fluids were. The Asian gentleman at one point said a lot of work was needed then upon asking for further detail only furnished about 2 or 3 additional repairs and seemed to be making it up on the fly based on concerns Id already mentioned (engine oil, maybe the gasket cover/valve). I paid for the diagnostic to know what repairs my car needed along with how the fluids were doing and I had to ask about the fluid levels and conditions instead of being offered the information after being charged for the diagnostic. I havent had any replaced in several years and they told me everything was fine... I had to ask multiple times about my fluids and the only information the Hispanic gentleman wanted to offer was that my wiper fluid was topped off. He said that multiple times when its not as important as any of the other fluids, especially since this is California, I hardly use it anyway. It also doesnt look like it was topped off and I had specifically mentioned being concerned about my engine oil. He spent probably 10 minutes telling me about the inner workings of the door handle after I asked for an estimate but wouldnt give me an estimate and Im really glad because this really isnt a good place and is quite sketchy. Regarding the cost for labor I heard $144, $140, and $120 which makes me think it was being made up on the fly and I was overcharged (My labor charges were $144). My repairs seem to be okay but theres some minor vibrations going on, not sure what thats about. Im kinda suspect the Hispanic man kept telling me about wiper fluid and wasting my time with bs because Im a younger woman and not to be taken seriously. Doesnt seem like good business practice to spend 10 minutes after having been told multiple times, theyre not interested in the inner workings AND not provide an estimate when requested. I wouldnt recommend. I think theres a reason I was able to be seen very quickly.

My son was traveling to see a friend and the starter went out on his car, we have AAA and looked up a local auto repair and happened upon Quality Auto. Eddie was very helpful, polite and honest. He really made it a great experience which eased our minds as we were 300 miles away. It is one of the hardest things to find a good repair shop in your home town let alone when you are 300 miles away. Eddie made this comfortable and easy for us. Their prices are reasonable and they are very professional. They went above and beyond to assure our car was in good condition to get our son home safely. Went to charge my AAA battery after it was totally drained, great experience there!

The team of QualityAuto is very professional and detailed in their work. My cars cooler is leaking but no any light is on after diagnostic. They found out and showed me the part is slowly leaking. Its a relief for me after weeks of seeing some water or oil under my car. Very fair pricing, Best Quality.

These guys are great. Check engine light came on and had a very rough idle on my 2003 Toyota Corolla with 294,000 miles. They had my car for an hour and a half. When I got the car back it was running great. They know what they are doing at QualityAuto and their prices are honest. I have two other cars they have worked on and it’s always the same, fast and well priced.

I stopped on the freeway and came to QualityAuto to fix my Volkswagen. They help me to fix steering column, control module and crank position censor. All the staffs here are really nice and honest! Recommend this shop if you have some problem with your car

This place is amazing. Went to a dealership to replace my brake pads because I heard squeaking, and the dealership charged me 1600$ for brake replacement and rotor change. Came here and found out that my rear brakes didnt even need changing and my rotors were fine, saved me so much money. Even if I wanted to do the same process, they would have charged less and done the same if not better then the dealership, I highly recommend this place.

Honest business with knowledgeable and experienced technicians.I go there for all of my repair and maintenance. All the works were done correctly and finished on time. What impressed me the most is theyre able to fix an issue of body work another store tried three times and failed to fix .

I was extremely happy with my experience here. I called to get a quote for something that was wrong with my car and David was extremely helpful with telling me the process and price. He let me put half down to order the parts and said I can pay the rest when I pick up my car. I called on Friday and he fixed my car on Monday within four hours, very fast service!! When I arrived to pick up my car David explained that the company he ordered the part from sent the wrong one and the company said it would be an extra $200. David honored the original price he gave me and discounted the $200. They are very reasonable with pricing, he tried to get me the lowest price possible. I am so grateful for David, especially because I have been laid off due to the Quarantine. Overall, I was extremely pleased and I will definitely be coming back here again. I was referred by a friend who told me this shop is transparent and honest over the repair cost and of course the cost itself is pretty competitive.I drove my Odyssey here to give a try as it will shake when I put on the brake to slow the speed.After test driving and check, the manager showed me the damaged brake pad of my Odyssey and suggested to have it fixed instead of replacement, the cost is much lower than expected.I have been to this shop a couple of times after that. I have been always very impressive of the transparence and honest from my experience with them, especially compared with the dealership I have dealt with. Definitely recommend this auto shop to everyone!

I hit a pole with my car and a lot of water came out from the front of my car. To make a long story short..they checked my car and let me know the exact problems. They advised me to repair it when I go back to my home (in LA and I was visiting Hayward). They didnt even charge me for all this beautiful services... It was really great to me. Integrity! Honesty! Eddie and his team were exceptional!! Being an amateur mechanic at best, I assumed the issue was a bad starter. It turned out to be only a dead battery. He/they didnt make it seem worse than it was nor did they try to upsell me. They ran the appropriate diagnostic tests and showed me the results. It was a clear decision. In addition, the shop is as clean as it can be. Phenomenal operation. I will be going back!

His work is excellent, I am glad I could find him to repair my car within my budget and fulfilled my requirements. I will like to come again if any future needs.

Responsibility and hustling are the most important things to me. I went on a late Saturday morning. David checked the passengers door where my molding was broken off, and he took some pictures. I left within ten minutes and another two hours later I got an voicemail from David telling me the estimated cost of the parts and labor. On Monday morning, David let me know that the parts have been ordered. First thing on Wednesday morning Luis called and scheduled the installation in the late afternoon of Thursday after my dental appointment.Mr. Huang was the one working on the parts. He has been working in the shop for over eight years. I have no doubts of his experience as well as the professionalism of the team. Everyone is wearing the uniform with their name on it.The shop is big, with at least eight spots inside the shop if I remember it right. Plenty of parking spots outside. Luis has kept the reception room organized.One of my neighbors recommended this shop to me. I’d definitely recommend my friends to come over.

Neither headlights would work on my vehicle, I was suspecting about the fuse. Obviously Mr.Huang is more experienced and identified issue on the bulb in seconds, and replaced them in minutes. Well priced quality service too.

I called David in a panic when my car was having problems and my car was wobbling and shaking violently and he extended the businesses services so much to help me in a time of desperation. I came back late, before my Grandma’s funeral to get the car repairs and he was honest about how long it would take so I came back the next day. I was terribly late and he took the car in. I expected it to be finished the next day and he called me at the end of the work day to have me pick my car up! He even waited for me, as I was getting a ride. I’m so thankful I found an honest mechanic after many instances of finding the exact opposite to be true. You’ve found a customer for life, David!& Thank you and. Went to do my maintenance this past Saturday. This seems to be a newly opened shop, nice and clean office. The service was fast. Price reasonable. The front desk was polite. Will come again.

Very rude I went there 3 time for oil change. First they didnt have anybody to do oil change. 2th they told it would take 1 hour or more. 3rd they told me Im too late. Even I was there before 45 minutes closing time. They took my car into Garage then gave me back. Not recommended this repair shop. if you need customers to make appointment dont accept the job tell your customers to make appointment. i was never asked about appointment. I could wait if i was told. In the response hes still arguing.

I got a coupon for a discounted smog test since my car was due for one by the DMV. I called a bunch of smog test businesses around Hayward but none offered a lower price than here. I came over without an appointment and I had my car finished in less than an hour. The front person was good: we talked about a sticker on my car.

I visited here four weeks ago to fix my X5 diesel. It was my luck that I didn’t go to anywhere else. They got a fantastic shop manager Loui and a group of very professional mechanics. I did observe that those folks working on cars including Porsche, BMW, Benz, besides other regular brands, and that made me more comfortable having my X5 fixed here.The work was done successfully and so far the car runs great without any issue. The cost of the fix was quite reasonable including both of the parts and the labor cost. I’m very satisfied with their service and would definitely come back for any future maintenance work (hopefully not for issues:p )!

Very happy with my visit to Quality Auto LLC. Called for an appointment for a simple oil change. When I arrived, they immediately took the car to work on with a 30 min. maximum window. I had been having some oil leakage and they found the threading to the plug was bad. They clearly explained what needed to be done. They also found that one of my lights were out. within an hour all was fixed at a great price. What more can you ask for; qualified and friendly staff that complete the necessary work in a reasonable time frame and at a great price.

I think Quality Auto is a trustworthy place for car repair and maintenance. I went to this shop to replace the timing belt for my Toyota Highlander. The service was very good, and the price too! They also found my water pump was leaking so they replaced it as well. It looks the technician is very experienced on repairing different cars. I also did oil change here because they offer the synthetic blend oil change at $19.95 only. Overall my experience was very pleasant and will definitely come back again and recommend to my friends too.

Very unprofessional ...I took my car to their shop because the service engine light lit up and also to get a smog for my registration .They perform an engine diagnostic and found out two problems that causes the service engine light to lit up. The guy in the front desk didnt told me that they only do smog check although I told him that I want to have a smog test because of the registration. He told me that it will be ready the next day but it took them four business days to complete their work. When i went there to get my car , thats the only time they told me that they didnt smog my car . I will not comeback on that shop and definitely wont recommend it . Dont waste your time and money .....

I called in earlier in the day to see if I can get an alignment, the office said yes and ask what type of vehicle and I told him f-150 with a lift and he said its fine, bring it in at 3:00 I get there and he pulls out a tape measure....I thought they have done pickup truks before but I guess not. Then he said its to big and he cant do it???? What I took off work and you knew what I had because I talked to you on the phone... what a wast of my time! Should have told be on the phone when I talked to him that they couldnt do it and I wouldnt have took off work to come here. I would think based on a conversation you would know what you can do and what you cant do.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I went to replace the front brake pads for my 2002 Lexus Rx300. The owner showed me the rotor and its condition and offered options. It was a very pleasant experience. After the replacement, the sqeek noise is completely gone. Highly recommend this place.The above was my review for one of the visits. Recently I visited the shop again and received excellent service. I want to add my recent experience to my review.My 2002 Toyota Highlander failed Smog test with catalytic converter “not ready”. Since there was no check engine code, the smog guy told me to drive the car and the “cat” would be ready. I drove a tank full of gas and the “cat” still was not ready. After searching the Internet, I tried two cans of CataClean and more driving. That did not help. So I brought the car to the Fremont Toyota dealership. The tech checked and reported that “cat” was not completely working and needed to be replaced (the exhaust manifold) along with all four O2 sensors. The total price tag ~$2600. To be sure, I took out the manifold heat shield and checked the pre and post “cat” temperature and confirmed one cat converter was not working perfectly. So I took the car to QualityAuto. Eddie was very nice and asked his tech to do another check to make sure “cat” was not working. Tech came back with the confirmation that “cat” was the problem. I asked Eddie whether I could order parts myself and brought the parts to the shop to let them install. Eddie said no problem. So I ordered the exhaust manifold and upper gasket from Maita Toyota of Sacramento and bought two upstream O2 sensors and lower gasket from O’Reilly (per Eddie’s recommendation – cheaper than dealer parts’ price). Initially I bought two identical upstream O2 sensors. David told me that one of them was wrong and let his tech wait for me to go O’Reilly to exchange for the correct one. This was on a Saturday afternoon. Both David and his tech worked past normal 4 pm closing hour and got everything installed for me. The next day I drove for about 10 miles and used OBDII to check. The “cat” was ready. The following day, I drove the car to the same Smog place (Star certified). The car passed Smog check finally. All in all, I highly recommend the QualityAuto to anyone who wants to get his or her car fixed. QualityAuto has very friendly and helpful staff and provides excellent services with great prices.
