Stopped in on Aug 27th looking to buy a new car. The salesman informed us that they wouldnt honor my tier 1 supplier discount so we took our 40k down the street and bought a 2021 Suburu. Ill give you 1 star for making our decision easy.

We were traveling back home to Illinois when our car died alongside of the road we were just outside of Fort Wayne so we had our vehicle towed to Bob Thomas Ford. This was on a Sunday. Obviously this isnt our dealership but they diagnosed it on Monday and fixed it on Tuesday! Their staff was very friendly and helpful. This was some of the absolute best customer service I have seen in a very long time! Again not our dealership but we were treated like one of their customers! So I you live closer than 300 miles away I highly recommend this dealership!

We got rear ended pretty bad which led to a multi car pile up and our van was in rough shape. Even worse were 600 miles from home. But Bob Thomas, Tim at the body shop specifically, did everything in their power to make an incredibly stressful situation tenable. They received the van on a Thursday and got it to a point where we could legally (and safely) drive back home the very next day. I cannot recommend this business enough. Such good people, great service, and honestly the type of experience that reminds a person that there really is good in the world.

I went through the quick lube lane for an oil change and to check the fluids and plugs. I had a coupon for $35. I also got an estimate to fix a few spots of rust starting on the fender well and bottom of back hatch. Im going to shop around for other estimates because they are pretty high. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. They did a good job on the service. I will definitely go back again.

Dishonest!My wife and daughter looked at a 2018 Ford Explorer Sport on a Friday. When they opened the driver side back door, the door handle fell off. The salesman said the car still needs to go through the service department for its inspection still as they had just got it in and they will fix anything thats wrong. Saturday, My wife and I test drove the vehicle. I noticed it pulled to the right and the steering wheel was a little off. I said to the salesman that it needs a front end alignment. I also showed him the door handle issue again. Again, he said everything will be taken care of before we take delivery. During the week, we were negotiating the price, I asked for the front end alignment and new tires as the right front tire is waring out faster than the other tires. He said they will not replace the tires but service department can do the alignment. We picked the vehicle up on the following Friday. Within a mile, I could tell the front end alignment was not done. I would have went back but they closed as we left. On Saturday, my wife had to clean the inside window as they were still dirty. When doing this the door handle fell off. So no service work or clean up was done to the vehicle. I called the salesman and he said we will have to make an appointment with service. Later that week, we stopped in. Salesman gave us the business card of the Service director. I call but does not call me back. I called again and this time our salesman called me back. He said we need to pay for the front end alignment and check to see if the door handle was covered under the warranty. Now hes saying they never agreed to repair the vehicle before delivery. The vehicle cost $41,000. We paid $30,000. in cash.I dont understand why a dealership would lie to make a sale and then try to profit again after the sale for something that was told they would fix before the sale.Dishonesty.

I had a poor experience dealing with both the sales manager (Ken) as well as one of their sales associates (Jason). I took time off of work to go see a vehicle that they claimed to have held for me. They went as far as claiming they put a sold sign on the vehicle and moved it to another lot. After using vacation time and spending time organizing insurance as well as financing, they sold it without letting me know.Later in the day, they finally let me know that they sold it out from under me.Poor experience.

**UPDATE 7/19/2021**Finally got the problem taken care of. The computer needed replaced and due to the chip shortage it took until now to get it done. The service department was great and did everything beyond their control to get my truck running back to normal.As for the problem, the pictures below show the damage. Evidently, the wires had been chewed through and caused the computer to short out. Fortunately my insurance covered the damage but Im very unpleased that the salesman did not follow up with my attempts to contact him. I had this truck for only two weeks before the problem began and Ive never had this issue before. I drove it daily to work and find it hard to believe that this much damage could have happened in a short amount of time but have no way to prove it. Lesson learned, always pop the hood on any vehicle purchase.Excellent job by Tom and the service department on the communication and work. Tom was the one to recommend me contacting my insurance company. Extremely happy with the way its running now. i wont hesitate to use service again. I cant say the same for sales.I bought a 2013 Ford F-150 two weeks ago and the buying process was smooth and thought we worked out a fair deal. Truck was clean and seemed well cared for. Having said that the wrench light came on this morning and seemed to be running sluggish. Going to have a code scan after to work to see what it shows. I hope its not serious but feel like this shouldnt be happening so soon after I bought it. Ill provide an update as soon I find out something.

While traveling through the Fort Wayne area my vehicle broke down in the middle of the night I was able to get it towed to Bob Thomas Service center first thing in the morning Joe Martz was very kind and generous and did an excellent job working me in immediately and getting my vehicle fixed ASAP. I have been looking for sometime for the truck I wanted. Seemed all I could find was lower miles but rusted or basic packages or very high miles and a price that matched. I found one online spoke with Joe B about it. Very informative and to the point. Worked with Joe at the dealership. Very friendly and easy to deal with. Felt there was nothing being hidden from me. Truck is just as described with a fair price. No complaints at all. Would work with Joe or Bob Thomas again. Very positive experience.*UPDATE*Just a couple days after purchase check engine light came on. Contacted dealer and wasnt thrilled with answers but kind of took it as bad luck and moved on. Took care of all issues through local mechanic and was back on the road. Fast forward to summer and noticed a noise from lower engine. Took to my mechanic and found out I would need to rebuild or replace engine. Obviously not happy about this since I had not made it to my first 5k mile oil change and already had 2x of significant issues. Contacted dealer again and spoke with original salesman Joe and soon after GM Mike. After a few talks and options discussed I have to say that I feel Bob Thomas Ford truly treated me right in the end. We were able to work out a deal and I am back on the road in a truck I really enjoy. In the world we are living in it is nice to know that there are still businesses that are willing to listen and work with their customers. I cannot stress enough that I feel we were able to come to an agreement that was fair for both parties. I would recommend Bob Thomas to anyone looking.

This is now my third Ford through Bob Thomas and I cant say enough about them. They are great people to work with and you truly feel that they are at your best interest when they come to getting you the best possible deal. Nikki was very informative with all of the questions we asked and Jim was great as well even before (and after) I purchased my new Explorer. Once I finalized the purchase, Jim sat in the car with me and ran through all of the interior specifics so I wasnt lost after I left. Ryan, GM of the store, convinced me to look into their options they had available when I called in and Im glad he did. Josh, who is their finance guy was very transparent and broke down all the numbers so that we understood completely. I saw a truck they had on the lot. I was going to drive from Louisville for a test drive. the salesman said it was being detailed and would be ready the following week. I inquired about it Tuesday the following week and was told it sold as is not detailed. I told the salesman when I first inquired if I test drove it and liked it I would purchase the truck and they could detail it and I’d pick it up when it’s was ready. Nope was lied to. They said it was sold as is with no detailing and they didn’t want me drive from Louisville for a messy truck....really you going to use that lame excuse!

Purchased a 2012 Dodge Journey on 12/11/20 and I am very happy with it so far !! The price was reasonable and the miles was also low. The salesman that helped me went out of his way to make me happy and I felt very welcome and comfortable when I first got there. The salesman was also very polite to my son. I didnt feel pressured to buy anything and he wasnt trying to throw sales pitches at me nor did he try to get me to buy anything else because I already knew what I wanted before I arrived there. If you show up well-informed, you can hold your own and walk away with a good deal. They are adamant about their market-based price points, but at the end of the day, they want to turn inventory and may be willing to work with you. In my experience, the team was very reasonable in coming to a deal that made sense for both sides. They carry high-quality inventory and are generally very competitive in terms of offering bang for the buck. The buying process is very easy, without an exhausting amount of pressure to add on warranty options, service plans, etc. Of course they try to add those items into the deal, but theyll take a hint if youre not interested. Overall, in my experience the team was fair and professional, and I left with the right vehicle at the right price. I would recommend this location for anyone in the market for a Ford vehicle.

Worst buyer experience weve ever had. Salesman lied to us from the moment we stepped on the lot. Told us the Carfax was clean, it was not. We did our own research while getting the check from our bank & saw there had been damage to the car. We were told car would undergo a 5 to 6 hour detail before we picked it up. We mentioned there was something in the center compartment, it was still there when we picked up the car, obviously center had never been opened during cleaning. If you trade in a car with electronics, be sure to delete your information! Our car has the names, phone numbers, & addresses of the previous owner & his wife & children in the navigation system. Also work address, everything that had ever been stored there. We were never shown how to use ANYTHING on this car. Not the navigation, the systems, electronics, nothing. If you find a car youre interested in there, do your own research, come prepared, and make sure they do the things they say theyre going to do.

I HATE buying cars. We all know why we hate it. By the time I stumbled onto Bob Thomas lot I was, shall we say, salty? I needed a truck and was thoroughly frustrated at how I was treated at a few different dealers in town.At Bob Thomas I was met by a young man who admitted he was no expert as he was pretty new and he knew even less about Ram trucks. Honesty is refreshing! However, he listened intently when I told him how NOT to make me mad! We bounced back and forth a little on the price and I even walked away once to consult with my spouse but the salesperson and his manager were easy to talk to, above board, and eager to earn my business. Heck, I even bought all the warranties and Ziebart protection package.They negotiated in good faith, communicated respectfully, didnt play the stupid games, and they got rewarded with a nice sale when there werent many sales going on. Keep up the great work Bob Thomas Ford Lincoln!

Purchased a 02 Jeep Wrangler from this dealer. The sales man was name was Sam A. Took the Jeep for a test drive and everything worked fine. Paid cash for the vehicle. We knew it needed a new throw out bearing & they did provide us with the part. We went to pick the vehicle up couple days later, turn signals, AC and radio stopped working. Next day they said they had it fixed. Drove it 50 miles and turn signals, AC, radio kicked back out and the frame busted completely off on the rear passenger side by the rear tire. Called them back and it was told it was sold as is. DO NOT PURCHASE from this dealership.

Wife and I were shopping for two new trucks. Went to Bob Thomas and found two 2021 F150’s we liked. Negotiated and settled on price on the first one (drop in bed liner already installed) and then I decided to add (I paid for) spray in bed liner. Went back a few days later to finalize the second vehicle. Bob Thomas said the turbos were bad in our 2014 F150 Ecoboost because you could hear them spool. Said the repair would cost $1200 so they decreased the trade in value $2000? After settling on price(not great deal) I say I want the drop in liner put into the other truck since the fist truck is getting a spray in. The salesman’s and sales manager tell me it will be $450 to do this. They said I did not pay for the drop in bed liner. I explained I negotiated price for the first truck as it sat and settled on price before mentioning the spray in. I was appalled to hear them say I didn’t pay for the drop in. Also, the drop on costs $250 new from Ford dealership. I walked out on the deal for the 2nd truck. Also, during the purchase of the first truck, Jim from Bib Thomas said he would have my truck detailed, washed, and recall fixed when I brought the truck back Monday for spray bed liner install. Absolutely NONE of that was done when I picked the truck up today(Wednesday).Anyway...long story long. We went to Kelley GMC..they gave us asking price and were very pleasant to deal with. No concern about turbo. Apparently Bob Thomas needs to educate their team on how a turbo functions and how that results in the sounds they make.I would love to take my 2021 Ford back to Bob Thomas and buy a vehicle from anyone else.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I didnt get past Matt, the online sales person. I applied for financing and was approved through a bank I privately looked into. After Bob Thomas pulled credit multiple times and never replied to my emails or texts in a timely manner, I finally contacted the dealership a full day later to see whats going on. I simply got a sentence that I was not approved. I asked why and I was told I would receive a letter. Ironic because I was already approved for a loan. I was interested in a 2020 F250. I will be buying the same kind of truck at another dealership today thanks to Matt not being honest or making any effort. My advice is go elsewhere and dont waste your time with these guys.

I was there a while ago for service on my 18 ford fusion hybrid. The maintenance technician asked me to drive up a vehicle incline to try to hear a sound that was happening going up or down hills. He was in the vehicle with me when a salesman came out cursing at me and screaming. I couldnt believe what I was hearing and neither could the maintenance tech. I will never step foot in this dealership for anything again. I should have left this review months ago. I no longer remember the salesmans name but even the manager acted like it was no big deal when I spoke to him. I just bought a brand new F150 from a dealer farther away because of this. I have never been so disappointed in a business in my life. I will also report this to the BBB.

Fantastic overall experience. They had without question the best deal on the vehicle I was looking for, and we looked all over IL, WI & IN. The individual over the phone was super nice and we came to a deal on the first phone call, including my trade in which they stuck to. We initially went to lease an Edge, but was fortunate enough to have a salesman (Jim Klein), who checked into a few things and was able to upgrade us to an Explorer for a little less than the Edge. I purchased a used F150 back on 11/30. The negotiating process went fairly good and we were able to arrive at a fair deal. Part of that deal included new tires because the old ones were almost completely worn, fixing a turn signal light that was busted, and a Ziebart underbody treatment - all at no additional cost (built into the deal). Upon completing the deal on 11/30 (Monday), I was told by Jason that it could be as early as tomorrow or Wednesday, or could be Thursday or Friday. I asked for an update Tuesday afternoon since I would need to know the night before so she could bring me to work and drop me off (they were informed of this). I was told they are working on it now and we will have a better update tomorrow because its going to Ziebart tomorrow and getting tires tomorrow (Wednesday). They said it may be done Wednesday, but it depends on the what he finds out about the mirror in the morning. Did not hear back Wednesday morning, so followed up at 2:00 PM Wednesday and received no text back all day. I sent a follow up Thursday at 12:42PM after I drove by the lot and saw the truck still parked in the back row with absolutely nothing completed like was said. I notified Jason of this and that I had to have it before the weekend so I could pickup a camper - he said new plan is to have it to me before the weekend and when tires and mirror are done, Ziebart only takes a few hours so shouldnt be a problem - truck would be done Friday afternoon. My wife dropped me off at work Friday, only to find out Friday at 2:15 after reaching out that the only way to get me the truck before weekend was for me to bring it back Monday after work to get the Ziebart completed (tires and mirror were done)- they would get me a loaner - and have it done Tuesday after work. Not ideal for me due to gas $ for long trip, but I was okay with it considering I didnt have much of a choice. I text Monday morning after bringing my truck to confirm plan, and I am told that it is in fact not going to work, and that I need to drive my truck back home and bring it back Tuesday to get it done then - so completely wasted my trip. I then ask if I can bring it by and get a loaner as originally communicated and told them I felt like it was beginning to drag out. To which Jason responds Wait a minute bro weve bent over backwards for you getting everything done that we promised to you & now bc things arent moving at your pace this dragging. I the contacted management and explained that 1. The customer is not your bro, 2. Holding up your end of the deal is not bending over backwards considering you agreed to it in negotiations, 3. After spending 32.5k on a truck, a week should be more than enough time to get me my truck I am paying interest on. I work in customer service and I would never think about talking to them that way. Management did not condemn his actions and said that since it was texting the tone got construed incorrectly by me. I have texts attached for your reference. Management did get me in a loaner that night after all of this, and underbody was completed next day as was originally re-promised. Extremely unprofessional service and I have a feeling I would still be waiting on my truck had I not pushed so hard. Will not purchase from here again.

I drove all the way from fishers Indiana to Bob Thomas Ford north To purchase a jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. Upon arriving Buddy, who was my sales person felt and literally became a friend of mine we had great conversations about music and life and are still chatting to this day. The management and service was top-notch. I would drive there even if I lived in Arkansas :-)

First time at this dealership today, needed repairs and scheduled maintenance on Fusion Hybrid. Tom in service exceeded my expectations. Knowledgeable, professional. We had a collaborative conversation about my needs, not just someone telling me (a female) what I need. He gave me a rationale for everything he reccomended. No upsell on services. All this in a time of personal crisis (which he knows nothing about, (I didnt even mention it). I feel that I and my car are in best hands. Thank you so much Tom.

Worst service ever. I went there for a transmission check, they gave me an appointment a week later. Which was fine with me.However, After I dropped my car in the morning they called me at the end of the day saying we were not able to look at it, can u leave it for another day . Which I did and they told me the same thing the following day . I had to pay money for rides and they did not even take a look at my car.Why would you give me an appointment if you have a busy schedule. They only word they know is I apologize.

VERY DISSATISFIED AND ANGRY with the service I received and if I could I would rank them 0/5 stars. I am truly unhappy with Ford overall as a corporation, but this service center didnt do them any favors. I own a 13 Ford Focus Hatchback and I took it in to get it serviced as the transmission was acting up. They did a system diagnostics, and much as I had expected it needed to have the transmission control module replaced. Now, this is where the disappointment begins. There is currently an ongoing class action lawsuit against Ford on a few specific model years of their cars and the Focus is one. They mass produced the car knowing there would be engine/transmission problems and instead of putting out a recall on the part that is at fault they simply extended the warranty by 50,000 miles . . . which is not right at all! Well, mine has that problem that is consistent with everyone else. I took it in thinking they would simply fix it free of charge since this is their fault, but instead I was charged $109.95 for a system diagnostics and then an additional $583.08 for the parts and labor!!!!! I complained about the fact that it should be a recall and it didnt matter. I now have another issue going on with my car and its transmission (it was there before but I thought the TCM would fix it), I am thinking the CV joint, and they are going to charge me again they said to run a diagnostics so another $100+. I will not be having it done there and I will certainly NOT EVER be getting a Ford again. It would be fine if they could own up to their mistakes and make it right, hence doing a recall on those cars affected, but instead theyre going about it all wrong. I understand it is a huge out of pocket cost for them if they were to fix all for free, but that is how you stay loyal to customers and keep them coming back!

We found Bob Thomas Ford while searching for a specific Ford Transit Connect model for my business that they had in stock. We are from Piqua, OH, about 90 minutes southeast of Fort Wayne. I first was in contact with Matt Wilson, the internet sales manager. His responses were courteous and instantaneous, we set up an appointment to meet him today between 1&2 this afternoon. We arrived early which was not a problem at all, he directed us immediately to a member of their sales team, Rich Brown, who was very just downright a nice guy and very helpful. After that we were taken care of by the finance manager, Josh, who was easily the most efficient finance manager I have ever dealt with. This was easily the best transaction buying a vehicle that I’ve ever had, no high pressure sales pitches or any feeling that the wool was being pulled over your eyes. Very straight forward, honest business. Highly recommend to anyone in the market for a Ford product. 👍

Zack Hobs was a great sales person. I drove the two Ford Edges twice just to make sure which one I wanted. He made my wife feel good about buying another car. She hates car shopping.The total experience was excellent. The finance part went extremely well as being easy. Jeff was great at they as well. All in all a great experience.

I just traded my 2018 Escape for a brand new 2021 Escape. Ryan, Nikki, and Josh were extremely friendly and helpful. They made the entire process easy and painless, even to the point of sitting in the car with us while explaining all of the bells and whistles. I received a great price for my trade-in. This is the fourth car we have purchased from Bob Thomas, and it is definitely our go-to dealer when we are in the market for a car. I loved my old Ford Escape, but I love my new Escape even more!

Well we are now the proud owners of our first F150 and we couldnt be happier. We also own Ford Escape ( number 4) so we are a Ford household. We so appreciate how professional the sales people are and not pushy but helpful and friendly. We were able to work with a new salesman as our previous salesman has retired. We worked with Dave Forbes and he did a great job for us and it was like we were working with Tim again. I prefer taking my 2017 Ford Fusion here for service. I wish I would have bought it here. Maybe my next one! I appreciate the speed of the service department. They are honest, and they do what they are supposed too. I have never had a issue with the quality of their work.I would like to add that I would give 5 stars except for today I am taking my car back to the body shop, because the paint is peeling on my bumper. A week after purchasing this car my neighbor hit it, and I took it to this dealership simply, because I like how they service my vehicles, and I would assume it would be done right. I followed the rules they set, which included not washing for a set amount of time and no wax for 3 months. I won’t say no more about this until after the correct repairs have been made. I’m dropping it off this morning. I would like to add when I went to the body shop manager to show the issue to him, he agreeed that it was not right and he said that it will be fixed. So far I don’t know what more he can do. We all need to realize stuff happens, and how it is taken care of is what matters. I will follow up with the outcome on this issue. All in all these are honest hard working people, and I PREFER to let them take care of my vehicles

We went to Bob Thomas Ford looking for a comparison quote for a new explorer. Zach Hobbs introduced himself self to us and began helping us to decide what we wanted to do. He was very helpful explaining what he could do for us to finally choose the vehicle we wanted. He worked very hard to find the exact vehicle we wanted and that wasnt easy to please both me and my wife. Zach located several vehicles but we seemed to find something on each that either me or my wife didnt like! Then we decided we liked the Magnetic color and Zach found one that we finally settled on. We both felt very comfortable working with Zach, he was very professional and knowledgeable. All of our questions and concerns were answered to our satisfaction.
