This place opened my senior year in High School, same location, same owner. Great source for vintage home and car stereo components. Lots of obsolete equipment and an inventory of new and used items from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. Absolutely worth the time to visit and lots of great deals!!

Took my old 70s era turntable in for repair and a new cartridge, they did a spectacular job with restoring it. I also found an new old stock cartridge in their fine collection of cartridges and had them install it. My records sound better then they ever did, the new Empire cartridge is fantastic. They also have a fine collection of vintage audio gear for sale.

Everything about this place is absolutely fantastic.

Awhile back, I took my vintage ( 1972) Pioneer SX6000 stereo receiver-amplifier to Speaker World for repairs.They repaired it and I had it back about a week later, at a fair price.While picking it up, the owner showed me some very nice used Pioneer CS-66 speakers, which were in excellent condition, cabinets and speakers. I purchased them on the spot at a great price!He asked me if I was a US military veteran and gave me a veterans discount The speakers sound absolutely great!I am planning on taking my Sony dual cassette deck to Speaker World for repairs, and will browse around while there and see what other great deals they have!If youre looking for something special, let them know, they most likely can get it for you.Plus they are very friendly and customer oriented.If you are serious vintage stereo fan like myself, this place Speaker World is Candy Land!

They dont take card at the moment but have great speakers that you cant find other places.

I’m only 16 and they completely took advantage of me. I went in with my Volkswagen cause my back speakers weren’t working so he made me wait for over 2 hours just to tell me he couldn’t fix it and told me there was a problem with my amplifier then made me pay $40. So I went to Best Buy the next day and they told me my car didn’t even have an amplifier and they fixed my problem for free. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Was having issues with my jeep stereo. These guys fixed it quickly and charged a fair price. Awesome selection of old tuners and turntables

The guys that run this place are very helpful and knowledgeable. You dont find this kind of service often anymore. When you come here, youre working directly with the owners who care about their reputation. Did a great job replacing our car stereo and even walked us through the features once installed.

Local, trusted, experienced, trained, proficient and the ONLY, place i take my vehicles to. Had two installs on newer GMCs to retain that kept factory intellilink head units so we went with here. Still great sounding and no issues almost a year ago. Not to mention its a father son business even better bc their work is excellent!

Lots of amazing vintage home audio gear, grossly overpriced. But you cant find this stuff anymore

So I don’t know much about speakers, but I wanted to get into it. I went to D&B sales first bc everyone has heard of them. Well I walk in and the dude is super rude so I walk around look at some stuff and walk back. He asks if I have questions. I tell him I don’t know much and I have a ton of questions and I’m not sure what I need to get. He basically tells me he can’t help and that I need to figure it out myself and then blows me off bc I’m new and don’t know what I’m talking about. So then I went to speaker world bc I had heard they’re super nice and helpful. They are. Best place in town! Would recommend to ANYONE for ANY type of audio. They were super nice and friendly and even tested my sub and made a few small adjustments/fixes to it for free in like 2 minutes. Super super nice guys and extremely cheap. Seriously DO NOT GO TO D&B Sales! Go to Speaker world! I will for sure be back the next time I need anything audio related or have any questions.
