After my home in Callaway FL suffered damage from Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018, I had to find a place to store all of my household goods - furniture, kitchenware, everything that survived including my 6 ft tall German Nutcracker. There were no storage units available in the Bay County area as most had been destroyed or were already full; the closest was this U-Haul Moving and Storage business in Fort Walton Beach, 89 miles west of my home. Sunni and her crew made it easy for me by offering a lower floor large storage unit at a really good price. Even better, it was straight back from the entrance doorway, making it easy for the movers to off load from the truck and take it straight in without having to navigate corners and turns with my oversize furniture. Paying each months rent online was super easy as well, and whenever I needed a receipt for insurance I called and they gladly emailed them to me. A year and a half later, the move out process went just as smooth. I would be moving out five days after rent was due, so I called to see how I could pay a pro-rated amount to cover those five days. Sunni told me I had a five day grace, and as long as I was out by the fifth day there would be no need to pay that months rent as they dont pro-rate. She also offered to move my rent due date out a couple days to accommodate me (though we didnt have to in the end). The overall process from beginning to end was very positive and I cannot recommend them enough; its been an excellent experience.

I rented a 20 truck from here to go one way to Pensacola. The Air Force veteran that assisted me was on point! As soon as I walked in, he asked me if I was there for a 20 truck. I said I was! He is very knowledgeable and goes through everything to ensure you understand everything, when picking up/returning the vehicle. I was on and out in about 10 minutes! Perfect!

Beyond dumb. Cant follow the simplest of instructions. Stay away especially if you have to deal with the morbidly obese woman at the desk.

I have used them multiple times! This last time the day the elevator broke on the day I had to put my bike up for a deployment. They gave me a free temp storage and while on my trip moved the bike into my actual unit, no additional charge. Quality service!

I rented 2 trucks there. Never got free storage.i gave Sonny reif 20 cash to move some customers abandoned furniture into my free storage with lock she showed me the customer threw her boyfriends stuff out of storage into hallway. I picked what i want. Gave sonny 20 to pay someone to move it in the storage. Couple made up and moved his stuff vack into their storage. I never got my free storage or lock or 20.00 cash back from sonny reif. I contacted her several times over a month. She responded today by saying she didnt owe me money and couldnt help...then she sends me messages cussing me..i dont owe you sh#%

I absolutely love this storage! The owners are VERY HELPFUL and nice. They didnt have any availability at the moment but helped me with suggestions, dimensions, directions

The BEST place to go for boxes, moving supplies, storage. I have been to several other locations in the area and they act like you are invisible, zero service. This location provides friendly staff, helpful ideas and super customer service. I definitely recommend working with them for your needs

This was the best, easiest experience while going through a very stressful, rushed move. Roni (?) i believe was her name, was the sweetest most helpful customer service i’ve ever dealt with. she helped us to get all the information that was helpful to us including weight of the truck, how to put a low clearance car on a car trailer, where all the scales are in the area. she even told us about the free month of storage which helped tremendously. she was with us well after they closed, never making us feel rushed. she showed us all the options to best suit our needs. the gates are very easy to get into, the hallways are very clean, no pest. when we packed our truck out, the guy in the office was also very genuine. loaned us some scissors, let us leave the truck there while we went to get lunch after a long few hours of moving. i would recommend this place to anyone.

I rented here because of the reviews honestly. I know there is another uhaul place up around the corner but I chose here and will do again when and if I need to rent a trailer again. People were very friendly and helpful and turn in was very fast.

I want to thank Miss Sunny and Mr. Michael. Sunny helped me order a carpod from the Uhaul website last week. I was afraid that the carpod might not arrive in time for my move. But Sunny patiently ordered the needed supplies and assured me that they would arrive within four business days. She even had it delivered to the store and stated that they would help me install it. My supplies arrived at the store today. Michael called me today and I went to the store. Michael installed the carpod and humbly stated that he was just happy to help. Called about storage area. They would NOT give me any information unless I gave them my phone number AND email address. I wouldnt give them my info - so they wouldnt give me a price. Sounds fair enough. I wont be giving them my business either - or my money! Finding somewhere else. Asked for the owner, there werent there and no idea when expected back - imagine that.....

We needed to store our u haul Trailer while we stayed in town as our condo would not let us keep it there and these people were awesome.I highly recommend this place.

Havent used their services directly...but asked if they could install a hitch and they said they didnt install other brands..not a big deal...asked, since they are in that business, if they didnt know of someone else....told to go look in the phone book. Not your typical friendly neighborhood business.
