It is hard to find a retailer who provides a quality product and top notch service. Provident Jewelry gave me an honest assessment of items I brought in for service. I brought in three watches. All three had unique problems and I was given variety of choices in how to handle the repairs which were completed to my satisfaction. A diamond ring needed a replacement stone and the new one obtained is better than the original! While I havent purchased anything new there, the showcases have some enticing options. The store personnel are always friendly and do not pressure you. Ive consistently had a great experience at Provident.

It was suggested I try Provident Jewelers because they carried larger high quality stonesAlthough they had many beautiful rings on hand - the ring I was poking for was nothing something typical. Their extremely friendly, yes they want to make money but if you’re going in just to have a few links taken out of your watch they treat you like they would if you were spending $10,000 on a watch. I cannot rank this jewelry store high enough. I bought my wedding bands from another store (I bought two of the same so there would be one on either side of my engagement ring). I had to custom order my rings because only one was in stock and wasn’t told that they were not returnable. I ended up hating my rings when they came because they blatantly did not match my engagement ring when everything was put together. I dropped into Provident Jewelry for suggestions on what to do and it was such a blessing in disguise. It took Eduardo not even half a second to see that my rings did not match. He was very honest and gave me several options on what to do to try and get the value out of my rings. He was incredibly kind and empathetic and really understood the artistry behind fine jewelry. The first store I went to did not show any remorse over me wasting thousands of dollars and hating something that should be incredibly special to me. I had the exact opposite experience at Provident. I recently purchased a used bracelet from Provident Jewelers estate collection and was very pleased with the service and with the bracelet. The owner was very helpful in making the process easy and I would definitely recommend.

Very dishonest approach is used: “How much do you want?” instead of giving you a fair price for your jewelry. The sweet lady stated that usually customers can count on getting one quarter of the original price. When the main guy looked at the beautiful piece (levian), and I told him to give me his best, he offered less than one tenth of what I paid years ago. My guess is they prey on either very desperate people who need anything right away, or someone who has no idea of the real value of their piece.Would not go back there even if I starve.And would rather flush my jewelry in the toilet than let this unkind and dishonest owner make a profit...

I went to Provident Jewelers for an Anniversary ring for my wife. The staff was extremely patient in helping me find the perfect ring for my budget. After my selection, I put down a deposit and set up an affordable payment plan. Every week I would come in and make a payment and often times ask to see the ring. They were very accommodating in taking the time to pull the ring out and let me admire it. After what seemed like forever before I could pay off my balance, they were always extremely pleasant, encouraging me that soon my wife would be enjoying this ring. I have been a Fort Myers resident for almost 30 years. I do try to patronize local businesses, but I have never been to the store. The main reason I have never gone there is the spokesmans (probably the owner) appearance and behavior in your TV commercials. Perhaps he was ill, but he did not present an upscale, honest impression. I have seen that recently he seems to be doing better, so I checked the website. Here I have to say that having 34 glowing wonderful similarly written compliments with only 1 or 2 less than perfect scores does make me suspicious. Sorry, I will not be shopping here.
