It’s a super-Hmart like Korean supermarket with hot meal options, bakery and bazaar stores. I like their blood sausage stand and ready-made Korean meals. It locates in a plaza with lots of parking, stores, cafe and restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice Korean supper market. Store layout is pretty good. Personally, I like it better than Hmart or Lotte. The items here are even more Korean than the above two. Shopping environment is pretty good, selections are also good. Fresh fruits and vegetables department is also an attraction... A lot of sales items can be found often.... A+

I think this is the best Korean grocery market in New Jersey/New York. Above all, all the products were displayed in a fresh, appropriate way, and there were vast variety of items available. In particular, it was very touching that there were various foods made and imported directly from Korea. In particular, I really liked the hand-made flower buns, songpyeon, and 증편 from Changeok Tteokjip(창억떡집) in Korea. I prayed that Hannam Chain would offer branches to more places. I would like to express my gratitude to those who strive for all these distribution processes.

Good Korean supermarket. I visited this market because I was curious what are their strengths, and how they could compete against the larger H mart. They have old shelves, narrow aisles and some unmatched price tags, but they have some Korean SME items that H mart doesnt have.

They came a long way. Starting off to compete against the ever-growing H-Mart, it wasnt easy but they had their specialty products from Korea that differentiate themselves from the other Asian giant marts. Their products and produce are generally very fresh and competitively priced. The staff are very helpful. The food court and bakery are pluses and are highly recommended to be tried.

This place used to be excellent when it came vegetables and fruits. I recently went and I noticed veggies and fruit were not the same quality. I have faith they will bounce back and prove me wrong because I like to shop there.

Han Nam is an Asian market chain óut west.The prices are not bad and they have a pretty good selection of Korean food products and good produce and fruits.

I love shopping for Korean groceries there, but recently I noticed that their milk products stinks so bad on their surface (not the milk). I think their refrigerator needs to be cleaned entirely. I tried washing them with soap, but they still smell so bad. After touching the milk, my hands also smell like them…. I really hate it. I have to wash my hands thoroughly with soap after touching the milk product… please do something hannam. It seems unsafe and not clean to buy such horribly smelling products.

Delish the best dessert spot in the area!! Make sure you reserve online for a spot this place gets packed if it doesnt work online the line goes pretty fast (if your only 2 people) so enjoy it!!

The produce section is chaotic. You need to know exactly what you are buying or else you will get trampled. There is no time for perusing in that section. The rest of the supermarket seemed fine though (I guess because everyone hangs out in the produce area). I cant speak for the meat and seafood departments but at least the household item section is cheaper than H-Mart. Kimchi is cheaper here too. I bought a giant bucket of it for $13. But, I would say H-Mart is probably the better chain overall.

Big market with everything you need. Clean and organized. The prices are better than HMart. There is a small food court, but it looks closed when I was there. A small bakery at the entrance and cooked food at the back. They also sell the fish looking pastry stuffed with red bean in the frozen food area.

After taking the key, he said he would give it to me later, but he did not give it to me, so the cashier kept getting annoyed and angry with me as a customer while checking out. It is really inconvenient and I never want to go backIts the kind of place that feels bad, smells bad and makes customers angry

Store has lots of items and large selection of Seafood , also vegetables, I would give them 5 starts if its was a bit more updated and also the meat section is very poor .

Terrible customer service.Very often, Hannam NJ sells spoiled produce and I had to throw out most of them because they were not edible. This time, I decided to return them but the person at the customer service didnt seem to be properly trained. She never apologized or said anything. Rather, she was abrupt and her attitude was inappropriate. She just handed the receipt out to me without saying anything. I felt really insulted. Who wants to go back to the market in this time of pandemic situation. They made a customer visit the store again for return by selling almost perished produces. Above all, the customer service was so bad that they didnt seem to be sorry for the inconvenience that customer had to go through. This is not the first time that I had similar experiences previously. PLEASE MAKE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPROVED AND TRAIN EMPLOYEE HOW TO CONSIDER CUSTOMERS

Good place for grocery shopping

This is a large Korean supermarket but the selection is not the best. Their prices are usually slightly lower than H-Mart but the availability of items are a hit or miss. They have a bakery and small food court towards the front as you enter and a catering section in the back. The Food in their food court (Hannam Bunsik) is quite good and very affordable. Their bulgogi beef over rice is only $10 and don katsu set is only $12. They are part of a strip mall with CVS and few other shops with ample parking spaces.

These supermarkets do have great vegetables, fruits, meat and fish and a great variety of Korean foods that you can take out to eat at home. The cashiers are very efficient and its a pleasure to go. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that they are not welcoming to non Koreans.

Very organized. I enjoy a market that is bright and not to bustling. They had samples to try and some help with my purchasing decisions. Prices is as what other market would charge and I maybe just a bit less. I will certainly come back more often.

HanNam Soondae is probably the best in Jersey, if not the entire east coast. Its in a little bodega back by the meat department inside the HanNam supermarket. The owner makes and cuts the order to your taste. For big orders call ahead.

Their vegetables and fruits are always not fresh. It’s a rare sight if they are.I bought a bag of cherries a couple days ago and literally more than a half of the bag was rotten inside with white fungus. Not making this up. Cannot even return it due to COVID.Also all the other reviews saying cashiers being rude is on point. They do not greet you or say thank you after you pay. They are mad that you are shopping there and they do not acknowledge you at all.The food court people are nice and the food they serve is ok but that is it. It is quite a depressing place.I only go here if I absolutely have to as they sell a lot of kitchenware, but H-mart’s service is superior.

Excellent Korean market. Good produce selection. Though the quality can vary. Good selection of package goods. Excellent meat prices for non premium. Also has a nice housewares goods. A true Korean market that a non Korean can navigate easy. The turn into the parking lot is sudden and very sharp. Best to keep your eyes out for it.

I use to go here for all my Korean grocery shopping but not anymore. ALL the Korean cashier ladies are very rude. Each time that Ive been there for the past year the cashiers (older Korean ladies) never smile, say hello or thank you. It would be nice if I can complete my shopping on a positive note when I check-out. There used to be a younger more polite gentleman cashier that was sincerely nice every time I was there but now all cashiers are replaced by older, crankier, and couldnt care less Korean ladies. I go to H-Mart now. I guess Hanam Chain Mart doesnt care about their customers anymore. They were really great when then opened. They need to rethink about their manager and train their cashiers about customer service!

Prices are not bad. They have everything I need. Once a while I drove 1hr to this place for shopping.

It takes little patience due to heavy traffic at the cashiers line, but the place is convenient. Some expired stuff, so look for the dates. The management ignored my concerns when I confronted them with the product. Few days after, I found the same expired product sitting on the refrigerated shelf.

They scam you with the quality of meat. Youll be shocked. Dont ask specifically because Ill put them to deep shame
