Jimmy has been my go to the past few years for any issues I have with my Subaru from oil changes to alignments your name it. Incredible professionalism and customer service from Jimmy this guy should be the face of Big O Tires.As a whole the crew at Big O Tires in Folsom is solid, good genuine dudes who turn a wrench with pride . Big shoutout to management and this establishment . No problems yet and I’d bet if I did they would handle it fairly. 6 STARS.

Taking my car here was a breeze. Hadar had checked my car in and was very personable. He gave me a detailed description of all the work recommended and what was actually needed to keep my car running great! Jimmy was also great! He called me as soon my car was ready and went over the work done and reassured me my car was ready for my road trip. Very clean shop and will recommend to everyone.

Made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation, they were very professional and courteous and had my vehicle done within the time I expected with an appointment. Will definitely do business with them from now on.

I made an appointment online for 11am for an oil change with a groupon and chose the option to wait while its being done, which implies they will be on time and quick. When I showed up (early) they said I did not have an appointment because their computer system is messed up and blamed it on the corporate office. So now I had to drop it off and get a ride. They said it would be done at 3pm but never called and then they were closed. I called the next day and they said it still wasnt done yet. But they never gave a call to let me know it would be late and say when it would be ready. They blamed the delay on miscommunication between the mechanics. This was supposed to be a simple oil change. Also to pour salt in the wound, they charged an additional $9 (tax/disposal??) after I already bought a groupon. They said nothing about the additional expense when I dropped it off.Also we currently have a mask mandate and no employees were wearing masks. I asked why and they said something like they forget to put them on.

Used for 2 years -tires, small repairs and alignment until now. I would suggest going elsewhere if you want your vehicle care completed correctly. Weve twice had the oil pan plug left loose, last straw was my jamb nuts that were not tightened after an alignment, caused damage to track bar and of course Im hearing crickets on reimbursement for the damage. Lucky I didnt die in an accident before I found it. Will never use again.

Friendly service but too way too long!! Simple oil change with a break check tool 2 hours! Had an appointment at 2PM and wasn’t done until 4. Used Groupon for synthetic oil change so great price but again, 2 long hours.

Best place to get anything with tires hands down, can order you any tire you want within a day or two! best deals in town too, beats out the competition. Jimmy is literally the best guy in the business

Amazing! I went to the dealership first and was quoted an arm and a leg.... and first born. Went to big o tires and they got me in quickly and affordable. I was impressed by the knowledgeable mechanic. And will be going back for more than just tires. The gentlemen at the front office were very professional and very polite the entire process. Very impressed.

Nice store, not to good of service. I did a Groupon just to check out big o tires and Im not impressed! I thought I would get more assistance in reading the print out of the alignment. Plus I heard the tech tell the manager about my tire bolts but when I asked he said its no biggy. I am having another establishment check on them for precaution.Morale of the store is no I wont return to big o tires.

Busted my tire went in and just got four of them .they took me in . they were so kind, help me choose the right tires if it wasnt for them I would have been stranded. They were very professional. Love them

I dropped my truck off on Monday morning to have an alignment done, 2 new tires and the brakes looked at. They did tell me they were busy Monday and would get to it Tuesday. I’m ok with that. When I went to go pick it up Wednesday afternoon while paying for the services I asked what was done to the truck. They had to call the technician (on his lunch or day off) that worked on my truck to verify the alignment had been done, which it had not been done. They said that if I gave them an hour that they would get it done. I didn’t have the time to wait. They had over 48 hours to have it completed. The lady that cashed me out than told me that I wasn’t charged for the alignment, which I was. They said it would take 24 hours to reverse the charge. They parked my truck in a business parking lot nearby with the back windows rolled all the way down and all the locks were unlocked! How is that secure!? I will never use big O tires again and will share my experience with anyone I talk to about tire shops. Worst service ever.

First time customer here and hands down this is the BEST BIg O Tires in the area that I’ve taken my truck to for a full service oil change! Jimmy was my auto representative and he provided me with great customer service as well as explained everything that was going to be performed to my vehicle. All the mechanics that came through the front office were friendly and professional. I was done earlier than expected and I was very happy with what it ended up costing me for a Full Synthetic oil service. Worth every penny. Hadar was gracious right off the bat... made my tire shopping experience quick and neat! Having a basic understanding of my driving characteristics helped my Tire Pro narrow right in on the tire I needed, answered all the questions I had about ride and warranty, within 2 minutes had an appointment set for the next day, they keep my tires in stock... It was an easy decision because as I travel throughout California Im more than likely to have a Big O Tire nearby with my replacement tire on their Shelf. Installation was all about an hour, working off of their client considerate appointment schedule. Did some shopping nearby wow the pros did there work

After four years it was time for a new battery so I stopped off at big O. These guys are pleasant knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The big O service center in Folsom is the place to get everything done for your car and I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Honestly this was the easiest experience I have ever had when getting all four tires changed on my charger. Jimmy was very helpful, poor guy was slammed at the front. I called on Friday for a quote and set an appt for Monday. I wasn’t baffled on the price upon pick up and got exactly what I needed for the same price quoted. The other guys that were there the morning of 3/22/21 were also funny, personable and professional. Dropped my car off and picked it up by lunch! My car rides so smooth now. Thank you guys so much for making this so easy for me! I will definitely be back.

I have never seen a group of such sad people . Not one smile from any of the crew. You could tell they didn’t want to be working there . I made a 10:00 am appointment and was told work would be done in 1.30 hours. He took them 6 hours to put on 4 new tires and do an alignment with my appointment. They didn’t know their promotions that were on their website . I will say making the appointment and selecting the tires on line was super easy. The rest was down hill. I would not recommend the Folsom Bug O location. Their customer service sucked big time !!!!

The installer did a very conscientious job of balancing and mounting my new tires.Jimmy, the counter man, was very positive but underestimated the time to complete the job pretty significantly.Brought the car in at 9:00AM for a scheduled appointment. Car was ready at 4:30PM.

Making a same day appointment was a treat. I have used Big O for my tires for years. The staff was professional and helpful. You carried the brand recommended to me by a friend and I’m more than happy. I’d had one tire that had been slowly losing air and knew there was no point in refilling it over and over again. The old tires were close to needing to be replaced, I bought them in 2015 so they certainly got their wear. There is nothing like driving on new tires, the knowledge that I’m safe along with a smoother ride. Thank you.

The technician, Drew, caused damage to my car by crashing it into another vehicle. He pushed the remote start button after I explicitly told the front desk technician NOT to touch the button. The store blamed me for the damage caused and refused to take ownership. They took advantage of me as a woman and of the entire situation. Stay away from this store and read the Yelp reviews before doing business with them.

Jimmy did a great job helping me get my tires ordered. My only negative was I had an appointment and it still took 2 hours to install new tires. Other than that no complaints. I think for the money I got a great product

This place is the worst. I’ve been waiting in line. I tell the one associate what I’m waiting for (alignment package.) He asks me to to wait for someone else. The other associate finishes helping someone in front of me and then tells me he can’t assist me bc it’s after 4. I’ve clearly been waiting. You asked me to wait for you. You didn’t tell me you were finished with service for the day until I told you why I’m here. Don’t come. It’s not worth it. Travel nurses of the world go elsewhere.

I came in with a difficult problem with my tires and rims. They did a wonderful job at resolving the problem. All the employees were very kind and helpful! This was my first experience at Big O Tires of Folsom and they are my go to place for tires and other car maintenance. Great prices and excellent service. Repair was done, staff was friendly, but the low tire lite was left on. The car was brought in for a service and new tires and one of the most basic functions of these two services was not addressed. The annoyance of having to go BACK and wait again to have the light addressed is simply annoying and a waste of time.

People were nice, though it took a full 6 days to get two trailer tires and a wheel. They should have asked a few questions when we made our appt to determine what we needed, when we needed it and what they needed to order. Maybe for car tires it would be different.

Consistently good and very professional. They point out maintenance items in need of attention but dont push me to buy stuff I dont need.They have a nice waiting area where I get caught up on email while waiting for oil change. During the pandemic they take good precautions, but I made the park bench across the street my new waiting area until I can get the vaccine 😷

I had a great experience at this location. Jimmy was the contact person and he was very welcoming, informative, and honest! I typically feel a little apprehensive with auto services, because I don’t know what the cost should be and what services are truly needed. However, I did not feel like they were trying to upsale anything. The price was way less than previous oil changes and I was in and out quickly. I will DEFINITELY be back!

Went in for an alignment, at a glance they tried a hard sell for tires (approx $400) and failed to complete the full alignment by saying that one of rods had seized (which they advised to break and replace for an additional $60). Highly disappointing.Ladies, we can do better.

I wanted to say how awesome the customer service has been at the Folsom Big O tires location, on numerous occasions. Also, Jimmy helped me out when the other Big O locations refused to honor a tire pro-ration credit because I didn’t have tire rotation records at the first location I tried to go to which was closer to my home. Jimmy stayed after hours and put my tires on even though they were technically closed. Folsom is a little further away and they have always had the best service anyways so I didn’t mind driving the distance. It’s a shame when the location a mile from your home won’t provide the same excellent customer service as Folsom does!! Thank you everyone at Folsom Big O Tires you are the best!

Big O tires doesn’t even know how to change an oil the cross threaded my drain plug and did not installed washer inside oil drain and stuff got into my exhaust started smelling Burning oil inside my truck 🛻 Please don’t take your car for oil change they don’t do anything

Had a 10am appointment for an oil change. I scheduled the appointment so I can get in and get out. How long can an oil change take? Well my car wasnt serviced until 10:40. Didnt get done till after 11. Is that a reasonable time to wait when you have an appointment? Whats the point of having an appointment?

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel like I have to because I got the BEST SERVICE OF MY LIFE yesterday at big o tires in folsom! I don’t remember the guy’s name but I came in around 2pm with a Groupon deal which he told me not to use and said that he would give me a better deal. Being a girl with 0 knowledge about cars, I’m pretty used to being ripped off at dealerships so I was super happy when he offered me everything I needed at the lowest cost ever! Another guy also let me know that I need new brake pads but didn’t try to push it on me and told me I could come back a later time which I definitely will. Recommending to all of my friends and family :D

I am still waiting for Corporate to contact me and respond to my BBB complaint. This shop scratched all of my $1400 wheels that had no prior damages when i brought it in. Jimmy and Hadar were as helpful as they could be, but upper management has drug their feet for 3 months. This business needs to take responsibility for their negligence. I have been cordial for 3 months, but enough is enough.

Got in quick. The service took a bit longer than expected. I had to tell the tech how to drop the spare from under the truck bed. Would have that they had documentation for that. I have Big O tires so rotation is free. Thats nice. Truck was clean afterwards. No greasy handprints.

I had an appointment for 10 oclock I came back at noon to pick up for an oil change and they had even started yet then to make a worse when I got home there were greasy handprints on both doors handles and I mean thick oil that was very noticable, this is the 2nd time and I have been going there for a long time since they opened. I called them to let them know my disappointment but the manager wasnt available so I left a message saying, I did not want to get anyone in trouble but bad business and they need to get ite together for my business. I aslo asked for a tire quote and did not get one. Just as well.

Great and quick service.

Bought a set of Michelin tires for my truck from this Big O. I checked the air pressure the next morning, both passenger side tires were 30 psi underinflated, this could have caused tire damage, possible blow outs, and an accident. I wanted an alignment with the tire purchase, I was told the tie rod was frozen and if I got it free they could do the work if I brought it back the following day. I went to free the tie rod, it was fine and moved once the holding clamps were loosen with little effort. Brought the truck back at 9:30 am the next day and told them about the underinflated tires, they said the alignment would be free of charge. I geta call at 4:30 pm saying the truck was finished and everything was fine, to come by and pick it up. When I arrived, it was on the alignment rack, I waited about a half an hour. Once the truck was parked, I was told the drag link was frozen, and if I freed it and dropped the truck off on Monday, they could complete the alignment. Spent good money here, regret it after this experience.

Excellent service. My tires are not a size anyone would carry in stock. I called the store on Tuesday and by that evening they had the tires. I brought my car in the next day and they installed them. I was impressed by the care the technician took in carefully putting my vehicle on the lift. I could also see the care taken to remove and install the new tires without damaging my expensive and difficult to replace rims. Will definitely be back for any future tire needs!

Went to Bog O with my groupon which was honored no problem. I had called for appointment....was told to come right in. I ended up waiting almost two hours to even get it in and get the estimate. The estimate came back fair. Work was done quickly and professionally. I would return....but I will not stay and wait next time.

I called informing this Big O location that I had a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. I disclosed the price of $41.65 to them. They confirmed. It’s usually $79.90. ($38 savings) Obviously I’m interested in saving money if I’m using a Groupon in the first place. When I arrived they were polite but not really friendly. The service advisor informed me that the Groupon only covers 5 1/2 quarts of oil and I need 6.25 quarts and also the Groupon does not include disposal fees… So it was going to cost me an extra $24 on top of what I paid for the Groupon. $65.65 (Now only a $14 savings)I drove out of my area to benefit from this Groupon and feel like it was deceitful on their part to not let me know about the extra charge before I made the appointment. They wait till you drive all the way down there and are in the shop to tell you that it’s an extra $24.... Very shady. I will not be returning.

Very professional service. I bought the deal from Groupon. Called them a day before my availability to get the oil change and they accommodated me the next day. No issues after telling them about the Groupon. No discrimination due to coupon. I was in phone call and did not even realize that completed it in less than 45 minutes. Unlike other places, they say it would not be less than 1.5 to 2 hours. I recommend this place for any automobile repair/service needs.
