We’ve been bringing in our cars to Folsom Automotive since moving here in 2020. Again, Folsom Automotive took great care of the car I just bought. inspection was reasonably priced as was the necessary work performed. When the car ran into additional issues while undergoing repair I got an immediate call and they provided amazing service. They share pictures and details of all work they are going to do to the car and keep you fully informed throughout the process. We will keep coming here for the foreseeable future.

Nice place, very professional.. This was my very first experience in US. Manager explained all the issues and I love to do business with them.

We took our car for making a loud noise they recommend to repair and replace the pulley and bands even do the bands were okay, They said since they remove them it was better to replace them since they were already out. Job was $600 dlls, took car home and noise comeback and was even worse. We took the car the next day and they said they need it to replace the AC compressor and other parts and it would cost about $2400 dlls more. The first $600 dlls was wasted and was not causing the problem. We took the car to another repair shop, They replace the AC compressor for $1000 dlls with labor and not more noise we wasted $600 dlls, but would not comeback or recommend this place. I saw all the good reviews, that is why we select this place the first time.

Very helpful and professional service. The owner offered to service my vehicle, a 2014 Nissan 350Z, in the future, as he believes the car will serve me well down the line. The waiting room is clean and welcoming, including free snacks and drinks.Lastly, my car was washed and detailed! I had no idea this would be done, so it was a welcome surprise. I had gone to Quick Quack just before I brought it in. I then parked under a heavily pollinating tree, so the car was a mess when I brought it in.Thank you, Folsom Automotive!

I have brought my car in a few times and have always been happy with their service. Brought it in today for a break diagnostic. Even though my husband just replaced the brakes I was getting an odd odor and heat coming from one of my tires. They completed the diagnostic and were very honest about what was going on, shared the details with me and did not try to push any services on me. When I said my husband wanted to do the work himself they said no problem and Alex even offered to chat with him if he had questions! I almost went to another shop that was closer to my home because I thought itd be easier but glad I thought better of it. Always very happy with my service here.

Well they were very helpful. They recharged my new used junkyard bought AC compressor. Bled my brakes, clutch fluid and Diagnosed a CEL. to no avail. Couldnt find any issues. Had to wait two days for me to pick up my car, my job hours suck sometimes. Alex is cool to talk to, he should be Bartender. LOL.

This is my first experience with this shop. I was impressed at how well setup and clean the shop was and the folks there were wonderful to deal with. They put it on the rack did an inspection and verified that the transmission I had purchased online elsewhere failed a seal and needed to be replaced. They also got me in quickly.So far so good! Lets see if they can find the weird noise I cant seem to locate next!

I called 3 different shops and while all were nice I got the feeling that they could try and upsell me. When I talked to Scott at Folsom Automotive, he did something that no one does anymore he listened to all of my concerns and did not treat me like a number. Check in process is easy and I received a text of a complete summary with pictures of what needs to be done. I came in for a oil change and found out I need new front break pads! The price was fair and above all the level of trust is established by transparency. You can probably find places that may charge you $50 less,but you get what you pay for. If you are looking to extend the life of your car F.A.S is your best bet!

I found coupons in a Folsom mailer and decided to give Folsom Automotive a try. They communicate sending text messages and a link with pictures of what they inspected and provided a brief explanation. My car was in good shape, so there wasnt much to report. Nevertheless, I thought the approach was useful, the manager was courteous and professional and I was happy with the service.

Love this place! I was skeptical to return after the previous owners sold the business but I couldnt be happier with them! Theyve completed a few services on my 2012 truck and both times I have been very pleased with the service and the cost. I will definitely be a life long customer.

Bill in the office was very polite. I dropped the car off at 10am, was sent the diagnostic a few hours later and then received a call from Bill going over the diagnostic. I picked up the car shortly after, easy process with friendly people.

Did an oil change for the BMW cheaper than most places. Plus was able to squeeze my car in between other repairs. Also was nice enough to drop my keys off with a friend across the street. Only wish they serviced BMW’s so I could get my repairs there! Thanks guys.

Since I moved to Folsom I’ve been going to Folsom Auto on Bidwell near old town. They always did great work at fair prices. I needed a repair to my car so naturally I called them. Unfortunately it seems the old owners sold the business last year. I found this out a little too late. The new guys tried to charge me over $600 for a repair that 3 other shops quoted around $300 for. On top of that, their “inspection” that they charged my $125 for said my AC charge was fine. Turns out it was overcharged and putting stress on the system. I wound up going to Folsom Car Care and they fixed it in a couple hours for $285, including adjusting the AC pressure problem. Too bad my once favorite repair place has turned into this. Too many car repair places trying to rip people off these days.

Well, I set up an appointment with Folsom Automotive Service. They diagnosed it as a actuator failure. They showed me the broken component, swapped out the failed part and BAM SON! Problem solved. Their mechanics are a solid bunch. Exceptionally focused on being efficient with your time, while ensuring all service is thoroughly completed. Great shop!

I want to say thank u, thank u, thank u to Mike for taking the extra time with no charge to find out why my driver’s car seat was so low. He was able to raise it up for me and now I can see over the steering wheel, the hood of my car and most importantly he curbs I would constantly be driving over which caused damage to my car but was a quick fix by him at no charge and my oil change estimate was right on with no news of future work that needed to be done. Picked up my car and they said see u next oil change. Now that’s awesome and so is Folsom Auto Center

Good people, but I disagree with a business practice: Diagnostics fee not applied to fixing the issue.If they diagnose a issue and say $400 to fix. They dont apply the fee towards the fix. If its $100 to diagnose and $400 for fix, youre out $500, not $300.Also last time I was there I had to have my radiator change. (story above) They put a new one in, 3 months that radiator busted. They took care of the issue no cost to me! cool (and apparently put in a better one worth $75 more). What I dont understand they said the first one they put in was a crappy radiator and should of never been put in. In my head than Im thinking, why the heck did you put it in? One conversation I think they said it slipped by them... whatever... People are nice but Im looking else where.
