This place is absolutely amazing, I did a candle making experience while I’m here in Fayetteville.The ladies were so fun and sweet. It’s awesome they have 2 locations. I also love that the candles are eco friendly and woodwork burning. Would absolutely recommend to friends/family/anyone to go check them out!

Love the feel and vibe of Hummingbird! Upon walking in I was warmly greeted by all of the staff. I was there to pick up a candle I won from an event, but I ended up getting another one for myself. The store was busy as there were three candle making events going on, but the staff was still so nice and attentive. I walked around for a little bit and decided on the pineapple, sage, and anise candle. It smelled amazing and I was like I gotta get this and I did! One of the ladies told me that she poured not only this candle, but the candle I won herself. It is so great that the staff takes such a big part in the candle making process and they are proud of it!Another thing that they are proud of is the fact that they are female, Black, and locally owned. Also, they love and support the LBGTQ+ community with not only sporting the flag, but donating proceeds of certain candles to support groups. I love this and I will bebbavk not only for this, but because of the amazing candles!! Thank you for all you do for the community Hummingbird!

10/10 My husband and I loved the hummingbird experience! It was truly amazing! We booked for the candle making class! I definitely recommend to anyone. The ladies were awesome and the music was great! Such good vibes and energy❤

I was so excited to come to this black woman owned business. My husband surprised me for Mother’s Day for a candle making experience because I love candles. As much as I wanted to give 5 stars, the customer service we received from Apollo/Savanna was disappointing. She seemed bothered by us the whole time, she skipped steps so she would not have to wash the supplies after us and she didn’t even attempt to sell us the Mother’s Day candle holders which I would have bought had it been offered. For the price, we would have liked to have a more pleasant instructor.

My boyfriend and I stopped by on whim before dinner and were seated immediately! We chose our scent made our candle in less than 30 mins which was nice for a before dinner adventure 😂. It was a cool experience for sure!

At hummingbird the vibes are welcoming and friendly. Every candle making experience I had from with my best friends, to my mom, to my birthday, it was always spectacular! Everyone is always energetic and helpful especially Sesselie! She is so friendly, upbeat, and always has a smile on her face! This is definitely a place to visit and make memories on any day!

Very place , the owners were very professional and detailed when it came to making the candles...perfect for a girls date! You bring your own bottle and refreshments.

I have really enjoyed making candles here with friends! Have done it twice and plan to do it again. All the employees are welcoming and make the workshop experience enjoyable from beginning to end. Great candle quality with a large array of scent options. Its a wonderful way to get a group of people together, do something fun and enjoy some spirits.

Fantastic shop downtown. A real gem of the area. I didnt expect to walk into a candle shop that would have a section for men. Awesome place. All of my housewarming gifts have something from Hummingbird Candle Co. incorporated in.

This is such a fun place to go for a girls night, date night, or even just something to do by yourself for fun! They offer BYOB candle making experiences which is AWESOME.. who doesn’t love to drink wine and make a candle?! You get to smell so many different scents and then pour your oil and wax!! Staff is super friendly and really know what they’re selling!

This place is everything! Girls night out, date night, birthday celebration, or a relaxing afternoon alone. There is no wrong time to visit this beautiful and fun candle studio!The team is so wonderful, they have tons of scents and the experience is half the fun. You can bring a bottle of wine, relax and pick out custom vessels and scents for your perfect candle.We just went tonight for a friends birthday, and I can’t wait to go back with my husband! They have masculine scents, clean bright scents, seasonal and food inspired scents. The options are endless because you can custom blend, and it’s a perfect gift for a family member or friend.I just wish I would have found them sooner! I’ll definitely become a regular at hummingbird!

I love this place! From the country chic charm interior, to the amazing scents and genius business idea, this candle company has it figured out! We came for date night, mixed our own candle scents (I actually MIXED 2 fragrances, try it if you dare!) and even wrote intentions onto our wicks. BYOB definitely adds a fun touch as well. We were beta testing the pumpkin decorating with succulents, and had so much fun! It brought out our inner creativity, desire to get messy, and have laughs with everyone else at the table. I learned a lot about candles and scents in the process too, like which reed diffusers are the best, and how to properly burn down a candle! Will definitely be coming back and buying half the stock.

This was the perfect date night! My husband and I did one of the candle making classes this evening and had a blast! Such a unique and creative way to spend the evening. We also got to test out our sniffers on several scented oils to pick our favorite for our candle. We did the whole process ourselves as guided by our instructor. It was also a great atmosphere to mingle with other people in the class and the icebreaker at the beginning made for good conversation starters. The business is locally owned / veteran owned / family business, a great asset to downtown! The staff was very friendly and personable. The quality of products are top notch. We will for sure be coming back with a larger group. This would be great for a corporate event, girls night, etc. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! Thank you for a memorable evening!

This place is absolutely charming and beautiful. They offer many options for private parties and you can make your own candles! I was there for a bridal shower and it was wonderful. The staff is kind and very gracious. The place itself was conveniently located in downtown Fayetteville. Definitely recommend booking this place for your next small gathering or party!

I got a candle as a gift from here and hands down, the best candle I’ve ever gotten. I got another one and tried the wax melts too. The quality and fragrances are top notch. The candles last for so long. Everyone that has come to my house since compliments the scent. Lifetime customer for sure!!

I had a wonderful time with my daughter and granddaughter today making our candles. After so much turmoil going on it was so refreshing to spend time with total strangers that opened their establishment and hearts to us. The art of candle making was so relaxing but the heartfelt warmth of the ladies was overwhelming. Reflecting on my day reminds me of the strength we as humans have to come together to learn laugh and enjoy Each other and learn so so much more than candle making by accident. Thank You all so much. This is such a fun and special thing to do alone or with others. Staff was friendly and passionate. I recommend to anyone and will definitely have more nights here and plan some events to share with others.

I wish I still lived in Fayetteville so my wife and I could do the candle making classes and see our favorite people! Recently I bought the at home candle making kit for mothers day/my moms birthday. My mother was SO excited to be able to make some candles with her twin sister on their birthday! Love this place❤️

This shop is so cute. I love when the ambience of a store just comes together. I met both of the owners and they were really nice and helpful. They have so many different scents of candles. I fell in love with #11. I recommend those shop to anyone. We will definitely be going back.

I took a candle class when I visited from Texas and it was an AMAZING experience!! I never knew it could be done so easily! My favorite part was writing a note for myself on the wick of the candle before pouring the wax in! Best store ever!

Loved this cozy hidden gem! We have bought our candle wax from here and are intrigued to partake in the candle making class ! Overall they offer beautiful decor ! Really liked this spot.
