Drove in last week for a tire rotation and balance. The gentleman running the front desk asked me to make an appointment for the following week “because we don’t do walk-ins right now.” Made an appointment for the following Tuesday at 10:00.The following week I came in 15 minutes early and the same gentleman said it would be an hour before they got to me, so I left the keys and walked a couple blocks away for coffee. An hour later he called me to tell me they weren’t going to rotate my tires and put my truck back in the lot. I’d have to wait for them to get to it at some point.He cited ‘cupping’ for his refusal to service the vehicle. The tires are new with less than 10,000 miles. Just needed to move the fronts to the rears, a simple task. I had been pulling fifth wheel trailers all month and needed to even out tire wear. He said I’d be ‘wasting my money’ with the rotation.I had to walk back to the store and force the manager to work on my vehicle since I refused to wait due to an appointment I made at his request.Work was completed 2.5 hours after my scheduled service time.1 star for poor service, communication, and knowledge of what the customer was requesting. Will not be returning.

Ive been coming to the Firestone on Ramsey ever since I brought my car down from NY, and last weekend I needed my axle replaced because of all the rust. That wasnt an issue for my man Brandon who worked the entire time it was there to get that old axle out and a new one in, finding replacement parts at no extra charge, and keeping me updated during the process!Cassandra and Alex at the front desk were keeping me company, informed, and made me feel that they truly cared about the well being of my car and myself!

Would not recommend unless you like waiting. Made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and it took over an hour for them to get it into the bay. I rather pay a little more money at a place like jiffy lube so I’m not waiting around for hours when I had an appointment. I’m currently still waiting and it’s been close to two hours now.

When no one else could help patch my tire so that I could return to my family in South Carolina, Jeff and Brandon were empathetic. Brandon fixed it in 10 minutes while managing a very busy garage. Thank you for taking care of this full-time working mother!

Last year we bought a new set of tires and every time we needed rotation, we had to wait too much, considering the fact that an appointment was made. We recently bought another set of tires there. We were sure to ask if everything was ok with the rims and stuff, they said that the only thing needed to be done was an alignment. We did it the same day. When leaving the shop the car vibrated when going over 50mph. We took it back and they said it had to be rebalanced. Why would we pay again for something they were supposed to do well when the tires were set? Later they suggested another type of balancing that was more pricey because of the rubber of the tires, or that something had been damaged. No real explanation about the real reason why the car vibrated. We are totally not buying more from them. Lesson learned.

This place is bad. They let me schedule an appointment and then called me to say it will take hours. They assumed I could drop it off. It’s my car! Where am I supposed to go! Firestone is terrible. Terrible customer service. Please don’t go to Firestone so they go out of business.

Bit pricey but overall good service

They legit saved our vacation! We were traveling from Lancaster, PA to Myrtle Beach and our (recently replaced caliper) locked up and was causing our entire car to shake violently making the car undrivable. We limped over and they kindly made time to see us even though they were already super busy. They found that the recently installed caliper was damaged and within a few hours replaced everything and got us back on the road. I literally cant thank them enough!

Been coming to this location for about 18 years. This is the worst experience Ive had here. Took my car in at 9:30 am for routine maintenance and didnt get my car back until 4 pm. Not only this but I had to call up there for an update as opposed to receiving all call like I have with almost every other service Ive received here. Im very disappointed because I have had over 15 cars serviced here in my recommendation through the years (Ive encouraged all my family to come here). Sadly, I may have to find another place. Within the last month, this has happened 3 times mine and family members cars then there was no compassion afterwards. Customer service has definitely decreased.

We pulled in with issues on our hitch to our trailer. Lindsey (spelling?) at the desk and the whole team of mechanics were so helpful! They included me in the conversation and the dude with cool tats and piercings gave me some advice for the road. Will come back for any other needed work!

We had a horrible experience here!!! We will never return here! We made an appointment a week ahead of time. We were told to show up at 11. We were there on time handed off our vehicle for a brake pad replacement. We had been told when we made the appointment the week prior it would take 2 hours. Well, since it was a weekend we decided to bring our kids and shop around in the shopping centers nearby. We expected 2 hours because that is what we were told. Therefore we decided we could shop and then hopefully our vehicle would be done. 2 hours pass and we call to check up on our vehicle. They tell us its going to be another hour and a half since some parts hadnt come in yet. I understand that places get busy and would understand a delay because of that. But not having parts after we had scheduled a week ahead?! At that point we were a little irritated, but no big deal. Well and hour and a 1/2 passes by and we call yet again to check our vehicle. We had been waiting 3 and a 1/2 hours at this point. The lady on the phone tells us its going to be ANOTHER 3 HOURS! So they were planning to waste 6 hours of my families time on getting some brake pads changed?! Heck no. My kids were ready to go home 3 and a 1/2 hours was enough. So naturally I was upset and I asked the lady So you are telling me its going to take 6 hours for my vehicle to be ready to use again? And she hung up! Yep.. hung up!!They have my car and shes going to hang up on me...just wow. So I called back and spoke to the manager. He was rude as well and kept telling me he didnt know why I said 6 hours and I told him. Because ive already been waiting for 3 and the lady on the phone told me 3 more! 😤😤😤They couldnt get their story straight and kept trying to call us to get us to pay more money for more work done that we didnt need. Thankfully they got it done in an hour instead of 3 but im sure if I wasnt standing up for myself the way I was they would have had us wait the whole 3 hours.Dont go here! Unprofessional and expect to get a lot of time wasted and horrible customer service!!!

I took my car there tto be service this morning before 9:00 a.m. which I Were getting my brakes check my wiper blades change and oil change. What was the purpose of making an appointment if I had to wait all day to get thes simple things done. I didnt get back my vehicle until 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon and this is unacceptable I would never go there again. I was forced to miss a very very important appointment today.

Not happy with the service at all who ever Randy is has a very nasty attitude because I call and Complained about waiting for 4 hours just to get a plug in a tire I arrived early enough and even when I called customer service they said I should not have to wait that long So Mr. Randy called me back with the attitude And explains to me isnt it its not that simple But when I went today it literally took them less than 30 minutes I have my brakes done there and they forgot to put the brake cap back on the reservoir so now Im driving around with out brake fluid this is ridiculous every time I went there there was a problem 😑

BUYER BEWARE!!!!This store does not guarantee there work. Paid over $700 in brake service, only to have brakes go bad and now have to pay another $1000 to fix their screw up. They so easily dismiss their work responsibilities.This store is corrupt and uses the Firestone name brand to attract customers, but they are no more the shade tree mechanics. They are far from the experts they claim to be!A real Firestone store would guarantee their work. Not this store. They just brush it off as coincidence and chance. so much for guaranteed work the Firestone brand preaches. This shop is a complete joke.This shop focuses more on greed than costumer service. I have been going to Firestone for years and NEVER had a bad experience. I actually started my experience in Florence SC and when I moved to Fayetteville NC I continued going. I’ve always gotten the best answers to my questions and if it were something I didn’t understand it was broken down so that I could understand it. There are couple mechanics that has worked on all my cars and I trust them completely and they are Vince & Jeff and they work at the Fayetteville location on Ramsey Street. I’m actually getting ready to take the car I just bought there for servicing, hoping to see either of them but anyone of the Firestone team is welcoming to work on my vehicle. Do I recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care, I absolutely do and as long as I can get to a Firestone there will be no other mechanic or shop working on my car. Keep making it happen for ME...

Ive had my company vehicle in here for service a few times, and I have been missing an item here and there from the rear section of my van. No not auto parts but truck inventory. Each time I hadnt notice what was missing until I need it. It may seem trivial the items that were taken, a box of ppe, a roll of shop towels... But if this place has workers taking this kind of stuff from my truck, what else have they taken that I havent noticed yet? I will never return here and urge anyone reading to do the same or make sure you can lock up your belongings. My van doesnt offer that as a option.

First, when I left work the first thing I noticed was I had a flat tire. I slowly drove to the closest gas station for air. Due to the time, everyone was already closed. But this Firestone was opened for another 40 minutes. I called and explained what was happening. He asked how far away I was, I told them 20 minutes. He told me to come on and he’d wait for me. I got there, they took me right back, found the nail, and fixed my tire. While I was waiting I had wonderful conversation with three of them. No charge for what they did, I even offered a tip and they didn’t take it. They were absolutely amazing, friendly, and so professional. I recommend these guys. I will keep coming back. I wish I would’ve gotten their names. I will be doing something special for them soon! Absolutely wonderful experience! Thank you!!!

Had to get a sensor fixed once it was completed I drove 200 miles hoping it would reset the system and engine light would go off. Take it back and some how 2 more senors are out which they should have caught when I paid for the diagnostic the first time. Then I pay to get those fixed then drive another 200 miles and engine light is still on. I’m wondering how many more miles I will have to drive before they help me out. This place doesn’t do a very good job at maintenance at all. I am definitely taking my business elsewhere as I suggest others do as well

21mar2020 This isnt my first visit here but the service was fast and the customer service great. The location is great near Lowes and the YMCA. I would like to offer that the place could use a good cleaning inside and outside. The trash bins are running over and the service area fully visible looks atrocious. The see people need to clean their uniforms daily but keep up the good work.

While fully aware of my previous review, the point of the visit was SERVICE, not to make friends; not to test anything, or lay traps. It was service. I ran into a Mechanic by the name of Jeff with whom I exchanged pleasantries, and I was able in that exchange to describe my vehicle issue, and further asked whether they were slammed being as it was just prior to the holiday. The reception and response was warm, inviting and friendly. The service was quick, personal, informative and thorough. Upon completion of service, I ended up buying other packages, simply because of such a smooth transaction; and all without an appointment, which I did not have time for. So, this was a good day, so I upgraded my experience from 2 stars to 5 stars because of all that took place and the proficiency with which service was provided. Thanks for your help. This goes to show that on any given day our humanness can impact the services we provide, and the perceptions of those services received. But today was a good day! Kudos!PREVIOUSLY: Pricing and Service Needs Serious Review. UPDATE: Bryan, Ive seen your email address extended to multiple people that expressed their complaints about the service provided them. However, Ive not seen one update from any of them where contacting you resulted in anything being done different, or that they were somehow assuaged of their grief with your service. So, Im not interested in contacting you as part of a PR scheme. Because I really dont believe you care nor are you concerned as long as bodies come through the door and your cash register rings positive. However, I do have a Firestone Card where financing is provided by CFNA. That is who I will register my complaints with regarding the service that Ive provided and the extravagant costs associated with those services. There is no way that your services should double that of AAA just across town! I should never be told you wont fix something when your capable of doing so, but your parts are inferior to the dealer, when youre charging dealer prices all along! Thats just plain laziness! Your service is suspect and your prices are exorbitant. And someone else needs to review these operations.

I tock my 2006 Nissan Altima to them for a check engine light oil change and inspection and excessive cranking on starting . They called to ask to do a diagnostic test and called back saying the crankshaft sensor was bad. I authorized the work and was called back a few hours later telling me the word was complete and ready for o be picked up. My wife picked it up and immediately called me saying there was no difference in starting and the check engine light was still on. I returned the car to them the next morning and was told they would check into it. 8 hours later I was called and informed that “ the sensor was good, but SOMETHING was wrong with the wiring harness” they refunded me the fee for the diagnostic and the sensor and told me I need to take it to the dealership. $600 at the dealership to discover they broke the connector and installed and a bad sensor. I want back to firestone, the manager informed me that the technician noted the connector was broken prior to service. I was never told that in my two previous trips there, and the car had 130,000 miles on it, the connector broken is fresh.

I have to say this visit could have been a lot worse. The work was done pretty quickly and minor issues I had after the service were fixed with no questions asked, I got a really good explanation of everything that was done to fix my issues afterwards. Had a minor issue after the manager had left for the day, and while I was pretty steamed about it at the time, the next day the manager, Cam called me to apologize and let me know what he did to fix the issue (really just a matter of training). This could have pretty easily been a one star review, but Cam saved it by being a professional.

This was my first visit into the Ramsey Street location - normally I go to the Cross Creek location but they have gone downhill with their wait times and service. I decided to give the Ramsey Street location a shot. I was not disappointed at all. Everyone here is professional, courteous, and they ensure a timely service turnaround. I will be returning to this location with each service that my vehicle needs. Elvin, Ronald and Jeff were all amazing!!!

Where can I start with this place? Well one the wait is entirely too long. Might as well cancel anything you have planned. Hardly enough workers on a shift. My experience was terrible. Basically too much to list... I Went in this past Sunday for my camshaft to be replaced. And they ended up putting in the wrong part. I don’t understand how this place is still open and operating . Now I’m having to kick out more money to have something fixed that should’ve been fixed in the first place! I would never in a million years recommend this shop. This shop is milking people out of money. How are you so called mechanics but messing up peoples cars? Cause it seems like to me they just wanted to go home or not start on our car until the next day. NEVER AGAIN

At first I thought I was going to have a hassle to return a Tire (that I was informed was the wrong tire from my dealership) but the manager, Elvin came out & looked at my car. He brought out reading materials to prove that he was not BS-ing me about the tire. He ordered the tire I wanted but I later found out that I was told wrong info from my dealership. I was driving around on 3 bald tires and was also taught how to check the tread on my tires for future reference. Elvin took real good care of me and gave me reassurance. I got a real good package. If you value your time DO NOT GO HERE. I had a 3:00 appointment for tire balancing. I showed up a few before my appointment and did not get out of there until almost 5:30. One hour in I asked for a status I was told one tire was left to balance. I was also given some excuse about a tire sale and three people waiting to balance tires. I would like to clarify I don’t care because I had an appointment and they should have taken that into account before scheduling my appointment. An hour after that I was told my car was on a test drive....so it took an hour to balance one tire !?!? I won’t be back again and I strongly suggest you avoid this place unless you have no life.

Quick service for all 4 tires replacement, mount, balance, and an alignment. In addition, when I called to verify they would honor the install prices of Tire rack where I had intended to purchase them from if I had them delivered to the house (bad experience with UPS the first time I had them delivered to an installer), the manager Cam offered to run it through the corporate account and it would usually deliver faster. He honored the install price did a courtesy alignment check and we had discussed the potential need for an alignment from the beginning. The front needed help. All in all 1 hour and half later, I left satisfied with the work, my 2 decent tires in the trunk (bagged up) and a smooth ride back to work. I will update if anything changes, but i am a happy customer as of right now.

Worse place ever, I had problem before with Firestone in Waterbury but I decide to try again at another location but they did a bad job and my son had a problem with his car after they changed the alternator drive belt, the belt fall off and the car needed to be town. The manager of this place are ignorant and cynical, be aware if you have any problem with this place, you need to file a claim.

Excellent customer service!! While traveling from PA, our tire needed repair or we would’ve been stranded. Walmart turned us away. Even after hours, we received the best customer care from Firestone technician. I highly recommend this Firestone to anyone who appreciates excellent quality and customer care! After the emailing all my information as asked and verbally explaining the situation four times I still had to take my car some where else to find out what was really wrong with my tire/car. Jeff the mechanic is always friendly and honest with you about your vehicle. He has never tried to take advantage of me being a woman and not knowing certain things. However, when I checked out, the cashier tried to charge me for a synthetic oil change. He said that is what my car called for. I gave him that look to let him know I wasnt that big of a fool to know that my 2006 vehicle did not require synthetic oil. Beware!!

Their service is on point and the staff is nice and will do everything to take good care of your auto needs. I would definitely recommend this location to anybody wanting to have a good experience.

Weve been going to this Firestone for more than 12 years (with a four-year gap when we lived elsewhere), with five different vehicles, and have been nothing but satisfied. Weve spent many thousands of dollars on dozens of repairs and always purchase our tires here. They consistently provide superb service, fix the problems that need to be fixed, and at a fair cost. In our experience, this is the kind of auto repair shop that you hope to find, but seldom can -- experts who are honest, not pushy, and not just trying to make a buck. When theyve made mistakes (which everyone does), theyve made it right without charging us more. Theyre sensitive to our needs, our schedule and budget.Ignore the ratings of those who have visited here one time and then left angry. Before we began going to this Firestone, we tried dozens of auto repair shops in multiple states for 15 years, with a job that constantly moved us around. Its nice to finally have mechanics we believe we can trust, at a place we call our auto repair shop. Thanks for the consistently great service!

They will rip you off. They sold me an alignment package than refused to do one for me because there was a tiny little shake on one side of the tire. They told me to to the tirods so i did and they still wouldnt touch it now i spent 850 on tires that are bald on one side. And to top it off i brought a tire in with a big shard of metal in it they said i had to buy a new tire.... but when they found out i put the road hazard insurance on them they magically fixed it with no problem. Dont waste your time or money go somewhere else

Theyve done great work to my automobile in the past. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone if you need any work done to tires. My car has had problems after a simple rotation. After taking my car back 3 times each time it is getting worse.

After spending thousands of dollars here replacing tires on both vehicles, having our annual inspections done, and scheduled pricey oil changes you would think they would appreciate your business. Last time i went in for an inspection and had four new tires put on I left with a caution light to come on indicating my tire pressure was low. Well i brought it back and some how it was broken during the change and I was told that to replace it I would need to replace it for another $264.00, how convenient. This place is a joke. Then after we got a nail in my husbands tire we took it up there to have it patched and mind you the nail was in the middle of the tire and i purchased insurance on these tires, but the tire manager did a visual inspection and told my husband that he couldnt help him that he would need to purchase another tire that would cost a minimum of $358.00 This man would sell you his shirt if he could. He always adds unnecessary stuff you dont need. Funny how another location can patch my tire for $10. If you are to use Firestone i would definitely stay away from this location forsure. I wont be back..plus my last appointment I scheduled an alignment and to change a headlight took them 5 hours literally. I got there at 8am and didnt leave until after 1pm. Thank goodness there are shops in the area.

Had my belongings thrown all around my car just to look for a tire key and I wasn’t even getting my tires done horrible the lady at the front desk was super dramatic and rude and technician DANNY should be fired for throwing our stuff around and going through our belongings knowing we were on our way to a trip! It was absolutely horrible. Had my oil changed left my oil cap on my Mercedes loose oil leaking out which in turn made my car smoke.I had to turn around go back for them to fix that problem. Took my master keys to my car didnt know that until I got back home 24 miles away had my spare keys in the ignition had to go back and get my master keys so out of 5 stars I give them a 1!!!

Ive never had a problem with the services until today. Theyve always told me they rather do the best route for me versus making me pay a lot of money. I went in Saturday to schedule an appointment and was told I wouldnt have to pay anything but for the alignment for 2 tires. An hour after I left I received a call saying that was wrong I would have to pay over $300. She told me I could come in a day before my appointment and get my the correct pricing. I go back Sunday so they could give me a price and she tells me to come back the day of my appointment. Make sure you know everything youre ins and outs of your warranty and your qualifications for your tires. With my paperwork pulled up on the computer I was going to be charged for an alignment even though I purchased this warranty 2 years ago. Communication is horrible!!!

They Tell me that I need all sorts of parts replaced on my car, but when I ask why its shaking and the guy acted very disrespectful. Being a woman does not mean that I am stupid. Very unprofessional. Would give them a better review, but the customer service by the receptionist lady is horrible. They don’t care about customers being able to get their cars serviced in a reasonable amount of time. They told me it would take a week to get a oil change. The mechanics are ok. The receptionist is rude. Unless you want to wait forever for you car to be serviced and deal with attitude, I wouldn’t waste time going there.

Traveling 2 hours from home and 2 more hours ahead of me i stopped to have them check out a tire issue. They found the problem And had me on way in less than an hour feeling safe again. Friendly fast service.

I had my wife go because we had a warranty on our tires and we had a nail in one of our tires. After about a hour they called her and said that she had a nail in 3 of our tires and they were unfixable(I know that the one that I saw was 100% fixable) ontop of all of this they said she Needed a alignment and I am a technician and I know that you do not need an alignment unless something is bent or replaced (its a 2015 honda civic that has never been drove hard). Long story short, because my wife went in they charged us $98 and tried to get more out of us. These people are untrustworthy and should not have employees that scam their customers. ontop of everything they didnt even know how to reset our check tire pressure light.

Wonderful service. Billy was helpful in knowledge and a calm demeanour. They had fully booked up appointments for the day and managed to get my bimmer in 10mins after I sat down to do some patch work. Prices are also great.

Came in yesterday for oil change, inspection, and alignment (free with the warranty from getting our tires here). Had an appointment. Got there and the guy said you’re not here for an alignment are you..in which the answer was yes..guy had an attitude and shook his head. Asked the lady what his problem was. Very unprofessional, and they don’t do thorough work. Cut corners and con you.

Our family was traveling back to SC from VA when my car stalled on I95. Car was towed to this location on a Saturday after 1pm and Mgr. Cam and his team completed a major repair before they closed. Firestone is the BEST!

Quick and friendly

After waiting 2 hours with only 1 person in front of me: In the pursuit to sell me a bulb, the inspector wrongfully told me my blinker bulb was bad. My flood light light wire harness was bad #1; #2 my blinker was working fine. I inspected cars for 2 years and never failed someone for a flood light. Poor greedy business.
