Was not welcomed by anyone even though I was the only customer in the room. Stood around for several minutes while four service employees just looked at their computers. They could have said welcome to PS be with you in just a minute or something to let me know they even knew I existed. Out of all the employees we saw in service, parts, sales, and billing; only the billing department were wearing masks over their mouth and nose as directed by the mandate. I did not feel safe at all in the dealership due to this. Service had my car from Thursday evening until Wednesday and I did not receive a single call about the status of my car until it was ready. I should have been updated daily at a minimum. When I picked up my car it was parked out back and while I was putting my stuff in the car and cleaning it (due to staff not wearing masks or gloves) a service truck driven by a PS woman employee started blowing the horn at me over and over because she wanted the parking spot. This was beyond rude. This is the worst Ive ever been treated at this dealership. If this is how you are treating customers then I wont ever buy a car from you or take my 3 Chevy vehicles to be serviced here.

Great customer service and they really take pride in that customer service. They really stand by their word and make sure the customer is taken care of. Kyle and Loretta were absolutely great to work with. This is definitely the place to take your car for a service. Above and beyond. Very impressed. Also, while I was waiting, there wasn’t much to look at in the new car section, but Tonya came out and just talked to me like I wasn’t there to buy a car…she was up front and no pressure. I appreciate that.

I would consider myself a seasoned car buyer as this was my 30+ purchase ever. This was by far, the BEST car-buying experience in all of my years. My salesman, Bob Thomas was the most respectful, helpful, friendly, and honest salesman that I’ve ever met!! He helped me to find the perfect vehicle, a 3500 Silverado High Country Dually, despite that it wasn’t on the lot yet. He was well informed, and did everything possible to help me feel comfortable with purchasing a vehicle sight-unseen. I did not feel hassled, nor did I feel that the dealership was trying to get over on me with my trade in value. They were forthcoming with all numbers, and everything that was promised to me…actually happened! I highly recommend, and will purchase a vehicle at Powers-Swain Chevrolet from now on.

Tonya Ross provided excellent customer service. Truth is although I was looking at buying a vehicle I wasnt sure I was going to purchase on that day. It was Tonyas easy and relaxing conversation that caused me to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. I am not a patient person when it comes to waiting and she ensured that the entire purchase experience was less than 2 hours! Everyone provided great customer service just as they did when I bought my first vehicle from Powers Swain. Great job!

I have been going to this dealership since the 90s. Crate motor for my 90 S-10. Body and paint for my 08 Impala SS, and now my third Per-owned Vehicle. Great trade in on your vehicles. Ask for JR. He will do a good job for your vehicle needs. This is my newest Pre-owned vehicle from Power Swain Chevrolet. 2020 with 8300 miles. Yes actually 8283 miles.

I went to EVERY car Dealership within 80 miles of Fayetteviile looking for a Truck. The only salesman who treated me with respect and patience wasJr Bolding at Power Swain Chevrolet. Jr Bolding was more concerned that I found the right truck at the right price then making just a quick sell. Jr Bolding is not your normal “ Car Salesman “ , He impressed me with his Cool , Calm and patient demeanor and not once did I feel hurried or mislead. Jr Bolding is a retired Military Veteran and he has gained my Trust and Respect . I’ve never been pleased with ANY car salesman in my past until now, Jr is one of a kind ! How incredible it is to spend so much money buying a Truck and not having to worry about being misled or cheated . I drove 2 hours to Power Swain and because of Jr Bolding I’ll only buy my vehicles through Jr. What a guy , what a pleasant experience ! You must see Jr Bolding so you can experience what being treated right at a dealership truly is like .

Not one person in here has the decency to hold a conversation without getting a huffy tone or being rude or insulting. They never had a straight answer about my vehicle and the work that needed done on it and went round In circles with different information for me from the beginning. Completely unprofessional and just a joke!

My husband and I went in to look at a truck to trade in his older one and we had such a fantastic experience. Everyone was so nice, it was almost like being around family. Our salesman JR Bolding was incredibly nice and helpful to get us the exact truck not only that needed but very much wanted. Kelly Butler was our sales manager and worked out deal after deal with us. He really helped us out to not only get us a good price on our old truck but also gave us money off wherever possible. Highly recommend this place for all, especially military! A lot of the people that work there are retired military and want to help!

Second time I have come to Powers-Swain Chevrolet to get my oil changed on my 2020 Silverado. After the oil change, the Hood Open notification came on while driving NUMEROUS times. Some times every few seconds it would click on and off. First time it happened, I brought it in the next day and they fixed it. Second time, the same thing happened with the Hood Open notification, except this time now my alarm is randomly going off. Now I realized its something that someone is doing wrong when they change my oil. They messed up my Home Screen settings so it looks way different, and they are messing with some electrical component to make these notifications and alarms trip up. This has NEVER happened before to my truck, its only after I take it here. This time when I asked if I could come in, I was told I couldnt bring it in for over a week. Well thats not possible for me as I was leaving in 2 days to go back home to FL after getting out of the Army. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and politely told him what happened, and that I take my truck to Chevy so that the job gets done right, The Supervisor apologized, but pretty much told me the same thing. I expected some better customer service for being severely inconvenienced to the point where I have to disconnect my car battery at night so the alarm wont randomly go off. A free oil change or something for the inconvenience. Even though Im no longer in the area, I will be telling my buddies dont bother coming here as far as servicing their vehicles, go somewhere else.

I could not be happier with my experience at Powers Swain. I first went to the dealership to test drive a Traverse locally, with the intentions of actually purchasing a vehicle with another dealership in Raleigh. I was paired with Regina for the test drive and she was very helpful in going over all the features I’d love as a mom. Never once was she pushy while test driving. I also looked at a new Tahoe that was on the lot while I was there, but didn’t actually drive it. My family and I then spent that Saturday morning in Raleigh at a dealership that made us feel very overwhelmed and taken advantage of. We left the dealership for a lunch break and didn’t go back. I called Powers Swain from Raleigh to see if the Tahoe was still available and we headed straight there. Regina met us there with the Tahoe ready to test drive. We drove it around town, but I kept thinking about the Traverse. Regina let us know there was one in transit in the color and trim I wanted, but it wouldn’t be in for a couple weeks. I couldn’t decide so they let us take the Tahoe home for the weekend. Monday morning I met Regina back at the dealership to return the Tahoe and let her know I decided to go with the Traverse. This was my first time buying a vehicle all on my own and she made it super easy and enjoyable. Again, never once was she pushy. I really felt like she wanted to make sure I purchased the right car for me. Coyier was also very helpful and patiently talked through all the extended warranty and gap coverage options with me until I felt confident with which option to choose.

LOVE this dealership! I came here on a Saturday after having a bad experience at another local dealer. I had inquired about one of their cars the night before and had been texting with one of their employees setting up a time to come in and look at it. When I got there he was waiting for me in the parking lot with the keys! Donnie was on top of everything and made the process so easy and stress free. After the bad experience at the other dealer I didnt have my hopes up of leaving with a car but he made sure I left with the one I wanted. Coyier in financing spoke in terms that I could understand and explained everything thoroughly. I had to bring my car back in a dmfew days later to get something corrected and Donnie knew I had tonwork so made sure my loaner vehicle was ready to go. Thank you to Donnie, Coyier and everyone at Power Swain for making this my best experience ever at a dealership!!

Haven’t had any issues until the last time I went oct 2021. Took over 2 hours for an oil change. To add onto that, the mechanic broke 6 of my lug nuts (improper impact wrench use) then told me it was because of a small bit of rust from the winters of NY. That being said I have never had this issue and I have lived in Massachusetts my whole life. Which then they tried charging me 11.30$ piece for the lug nuts when it was their fault to begin with. That was something I should not have had to pay for being their fault. Never returning here.

Got everything done that I needed, except for the 27 point checklist was not attached to my bill nor left in vehicle....had to go back inside and ask for it. Also had a coupon from dealer for oil/filter change and asked service tech about it and she told me the cashier handled it, she knew nothing about it. When I went to cashier window a sign was on window that the service tech would take care of dealer coupons.....not very good or professional....but cashier finally honored it after conferring with two other colleagues. Why do I get these coupons every other month from dealer if it is confusing as to who handles them when it was clearly posted on cashier window. 20 + year customer.

My experience with Chevy Power Swain has been magnificent from the start when I did not know where I should be and everyone in the dealership were genuinely helpful and friendly, one lady even stopped what she was doing and took me to the body shop area where i need to be. 100% southern hospitality is well- observed around here! When it comes to the service, their body shop is AWESOME! Ricky always update and explain to me of what is going on with my truck. I was surprised how cheap it is considering it’s dealership so definitely they DO NOT SCAM customers and VERY REASONABLE PRICE. Most highly recommended!!!

The service department and the people working back there did a wonderful job and the customer service in the service department was exceptional! However by far the worst customer service was experienced when going to pay my bill. The woman behind the glass window was VERY unpleasant and kept complaining that shes still at work and not at home. Its sad when the service department staff go out of their way to apologize to their customer about how miserable the lady was who checked us out. All I can say is thank you to the wonderful service department and because of them I will continue to bring our vehicles there.

I scheduled an appointment about two weeks ago to have my 2006 Hyndai Elantra FOB remote program at this location. When I arrived at the service department and upon explaining the receptionist the reason of my visit, she told me that they could not provide the service because they are a Chevrolet dealership and not a Hyundai dealership. She said sorry we can help with that. I told her you would get my review.When I made the appointment I specifically told the person on the phone what year, make and model vehicle I needed the service. She did not say that the work could not be done. All she said was that the tech that does the work was not available that week and that I needed to wait until the next week,. I asked how much was the service, she said it would be $45.00. I also have someone from your service department by the name of Kiara sending me a to confirm the appointment. IF the service can not be done there why did not she say so. That is not the way to conduct business. I ended up taking my car to the Hyundai dealership, and paid $65.00. I will no longer bring my car to these people. I hope whoever reads this review also consider the same.

I normally take my Tahoe and Suburban here for mechanical services, and usually never have any issues. Today, was the worse car service experience I ever had with and dealership and has me looking for another Chevy dealership to take my cars to.I had an appointment scheduled for 9am (the appointment was scheduled a week prior for safety check on the brakes that was recently recalled on by the manufacturers). This will be my third trip for the brakes recall. I brought my car in at 8:30 am and left my car since I had an appointment to get to. This is normal since they always call when the car is ready. At 2:30 pm I had to call the dealership since I had not heard anything about the status of my car. They told me it was just now going into the shop ( 6 Hours Later).Currently still here at the dealership while my car is in the shop. A total of 8 hours here at this dealership for my car to just now have service and repair attempted on it for brakes replacement.The communication here at this dealership has definitely change in the course of a few months.I will not be returning.

The service department is terrible I mean terrible cannot diagnose nothing with your vehicle when you take your vehicle to them they are just terrible can’t fix nothing. I dealt with 6 dealership in an attempt to locate a vehicle, get a quote, and value my trade. By far and away the service I received by Dan was as if I was his only customer. From start to finish he was available by phone and text and his team provided me with a great value on the new car and on my trade. Further, the vehicle had not arrived yet and he kept me up to date almost daily to let me know where it was and project when it would arrive. I passed 6 different Chevy dealers on my drive up to Powers-Swain and Id do it again. When I arrived the car was washed and detailed perfectly and waiting out front. When I went inside I found out that it was not just Dan but the whole staff that was helpful and the process was seamless. As a customer who has worked in the car business in the past I can tell you if you want low stress, honest prices, and easy process then a call to Dan at Powers Swain Chevy should be your first. Unfortunately I dropped off my truck for a transmission change out on 11 March 2021. I was told it would take 2-3 days, today is 29 March 2021. On 26 March I went to go ask, again, if my vehicle was ready at approximately 11:00am. I was told by customer service that they were so very close to finishing it and that she would call me, after verifying my number, after lunch. I politely asked her to please let me know due to us having travel plans. Welp, no phone call to me. Due to this, and them repeatedly telling us that we were on the waiting list for a loaner, by the time we tried to get a rental car there were none available and the weekend was blown. By the way, I had to get something out of the truck since they were not finished on 26 March 2021. The so, so very close to finishing was an outright lie as the transmission wasnt even mounted. Sometimes the truth makes it easier for the owner to make plans accordingly. Highly disappointed!!! Exactly the reason I dont like to do business with car dealerships. Never fails.

Have had issues here in the past. This time was worse than ever. My 2019 Corvette had a Crank notary situation. Took them 5 days to replace the Fuel pump driver module. 7 days after pickup, same issue happens. 19 days later, theyd replaced the fuel pump and harness. At pickup I noticed the rear bumper they removed wasnt completely secured correctly, the fuel filler neck was reinstalled crooked, the exhaust tips were misaligned and the fuel level was bone dry when it was a full tank when it was towed in. Now I have to go back to get it all fixed and waste more time.

WOW! Just WOW, what an amazing experience we just had at Power Swain. We decided last minute to check out Power Swain in buying our truck. The whole team Phillip (Sales), Kim (Finance), and Jeff (Management) worked so hard to get the price my husband and I were comfortable with and still keep us in the truck of our dreams. Phillip showed me the ins and outs of our new 2019, and even are just a phone call away now when we need help. They went above and beyond in making sure it fit our needs and wants showing us the specs and even setting my up the My Chevy rewards and linking my current Chevy with our new one. Kim in Finance is a magic worker! Jeff was just a great guy to see be involved with our deal. I know at some places you never see a manager but seeing him involved and talking to him one on one was an experience I have never had at a car dealership. Took over 3 weeks and I had to call to find out what was going on I expected them to at least call me and let me know what was . Took 3 visits to finally fix the transmission problem . Got it back and my ac hose was damaged cost me $938. To fix a hose got in the truck still no ac the other hose was leaking they fixed that for free now only 2 weeks later ac not working again pretty sure it’s leaking again and they tell me I got to wait another week beforethey can get to it

I would never take my vehicle here again. The worst experience I’ve ever had. Nancy in the service department was the rudest most unprofessional woman I’ve ever spoken to. After asking to speak with someone else she said “sure I’ll transfer you to someone else..” and hung up the phone. I talked to their manager he said he would get back to me and never did. I couldn’t get the owner on the phone either. This is how they treat you after you give them your money and THEY SCREW UP. Not only did they not fix the problem and leave the wheel lock off my car, but I was quoted at one priced and charged another when I went to pick my car up. When I asked why no one could give me a straight answer. Just save yourself the headache and go to one of the many other Chevy dealerships in Fayetteville because this one is awful.

Ive been fairly happy with this dealer, but Im editing my review. When I had an oil change on 4/30, just before I left, my svc rep began telling me how to active my OnStar trial. I said, I DONT WANT THAT. She said, Its free, and continued telling me how to activate something I didnt want or ask for. Fast forward to 5/7. I begin getting texts that my WiFi data is almost expended. On 5/8, I got a text that my data had all been used- and my WiFi stopped working. I called OnStar to get it working again, but after an extended hold, was told that my WiFi plan had been cancelled when the trial plan was given. The rep said that he was service, not billing, so I would have to be transferred to get it resolved. I called Powers-Swain, and spoke to the same rep who assisted me on 4/30. I said, IM OUT OF TOWN IN A STRANGE CITY, AND CANT USE MY GPS BECAUSE YOU CANCELLED MY WIFI. She said, Oh, that shouldnt have happened. Ill call Monday. (5/8 was a Saturday.) I repeated again that I was traveling, and unable to use GPS,. She said again she would call Monday. My WiFi has yet to be turned on. Im not sure how my dealer was even able to cancel a monthly service I pay for without authorization, but I am furious with both Powers-Swain and OnStar.

I dont even want to give the one star. We had an absolute horrible experience with them they kept our vehicle for over 4 weeks and got it back bolts and things were not even tightened. I wish I would of known before hand that they have terrible customer service. We spent over 5 grand and still have issues.

Absolutely the easiest, fastest, most thorough truck purchase I have ever made. I found the truck I wanted, sent a message to the dealership online and was texting with Sales Advisor Luis Solis about 20 minutes later. Whole transaction done online from my living on my cellphone. They overnighted the paperwork I signed and returned. My truck was still in transit from the factory so it wasn’t until a couple days later he called me and my truck was delivered. The gentleman brought my truck to my house and took my trade back to dealership. Best trade in offer on my trade and and awesome discounts. This is by far the best dealership and Luis is by far the best sales advisor.

I was always under the impression that when you took your vehicle to the dealership and they did any kind of work to it whether it be servicing or repair work they cleaned your vehicle when they were done. For what I am paying for my truck and the amount that is charged for my servicing to be done there I don’t understand why y’all cannot clean the vehicle when you are done. I had grease smears on the edges of my hood and on the lower part of my door. At the very least they could at least clean their own mess up

Vehicle was repaired which was nice. When I set up the appointment I asked for a loaner vehicle and 2as told to ask day of. When I asked day of, they said thats something to request when making an appointment. The repair took longer then I had thought it would be so a loaner vehicle would have been nice. My main issue was, I had my truck washed and detailed before I brought it in and when I picked it up it was completely dirty on the outside and still had all the plastic and such inside.

Went on line to Power Swains Web site to look at the 2018 Camaros. Filled out all the necessary paperwork, was contacted by the dealership with in minutes. Was interested in selling a vehicle. Cheri was excellent in communication prior to actually coming in. Polite and non-pressuring. On Saturday, 11/14/2020, took the vehicle in and was assisted by Phill. He was extremely helpful, courteous, informative and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out with the sale but I would highly recommend either of these individuals. Brought my Silverado in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had a 9:00 AM appointment and I arrived around 8:45. They told me there was one recall that need inspection (the middle seat seatbelt) and it wouldnt add any time to the service as it was only a visual inspection. I dropped off the keys and sat down. It took almost 3 hours for the oil change, tire rotation, and recall inspection. At just over the 2 hour mark I saw them pull my truck out of the bay and take it around back. I waited 40 more minutes before I went and asked the status of my truck. The associate up front went and checked. He returned and said they were waiting to check the recall and it would be about 5 to 10 more minutes. Almost 20 minutes later they finally pulled my truck around front. It took them an hour to check a seatbelt recall via visual inspection? I dont buy it. They let it sit in the back. Terrible time management. If I wanted to wait that long I wouldnt have made an appointment. I missed most of my morning work for something that shouldnt have taken longer the 45 minutes at most. I had to ask for updates, I was given no updates by the staff. Horrible customer service. I wont be coming back unless I have all day to wait.

Lets keep a long story short. The service is good. I will not sit here and say that it wasnt. The workers in the service department are very friendly. So here is the issue. Nothing gets fixed. I have paid around 300 dollars, which is a decent sum of money, all to be told that they are not sure what the problem is. They say, it could be this, or it could be that. Im looking at around 1,000 dollars to fix something that might not even need to be fixed. I know this can happen from time to time. Sometimes you just have to fix things and hope it solves the problem. But hey, just know, the people are friendly and the mechanics, in my opinion, are under skilled in identifying problems considering I was able to figure out what the issue was myself, and Im not even close to being a mechanic. Also, dont be surprised if they tell you it is going to cost one thing and next thing you know, the bill almost triples. Again, nice people but not the best at identifying problems. Hopefully this helps you all.
