I have bought few things through here and normally before had no issues until this year. I got a couch from here and was told my payment was not made even though I set up auto pay. When they called they said they were going to come and get it even though I had the money to make the payment. After some heated conversation we worked on getting it set up AGAIN on autopay. 2 weeks go by and I get a call again that the payment is not made. They managed to mess up auto pay again and wanted a payment. Not an issue because the money is there. However I requested that they come and get the furniture because obviously they can not manage something as simple as setting up auto pay and are very rude when they call. On this note I have gotten multiple items from this location in the past and have always paid it off in no more than 4 months. So I wish others good luck but my experience with them this time and their management is a 2 star experience and will never go through them again.

The new manager is nothing but a threatening person and lies on the voicemails he leaves.... he definitely isn’t manager material... I rented from an outstanding great person who was store manager before Jason... he was great! Customer service was great! Outstanding person! This new store manager is pushing people away not professional....

I wrote a bad survey to Rent-A-Center they had the audacity to just call me and argue about my personal experience. They argued that it wasnt fair that I gave a bad survey because what happened happened back in 2016. That they werent credible to what happened also they shouldnt be held responsible as far as getting a bad survey because theyve gone through so many men managers since then. I said I really dont care thats my review thats my survey and Im sticking to it. I felt like saying ditto why would you make me look bad as well for something that happened back in 2016. I faced an eviction back in 2016, I called Rent-A-Center to tell them they could come pick up my sectional at that point. I dont know what happened all they said was okay we will arrange with Goldmark to come pick up the sectional, will let you know if we have any issues. I never heard back from them so I assumed that the sectional got picked up. Here I am today how many years later and Im trying to rent a washer and dryer for my new townhome. They told me Im on the stolen list because the sectional never got returned back to the store. The managers back then I should have called double check and gone to the store to make sure it was there because the managers at the time were the worst I was actually paying on that sectional for good two to three months before they even delivered it to me. I should have never believed or should have taken their word. Thats okay Ive got washer and dryer and its not through Rent-A-Center

Ordered a couch and when i called to find out the estimated delivery time i asked for a refund and even though the guy(Aaron) told me it was refunded i never got the amount i paid back. Seems very scammish to me and when i called to tell him my bank said it wasn’t refunded he told me i was lying.

The staff at Rent-A-Center are the best of the best! They are so willing to work with you and get you the best deal possible. This is the second time buying from them and cant wait to pay off so I can get a new couch and loveseat.

The new manager is amazing she gets that people have problems and her staff is understanding and compassionate. All they expect is for you to pay on time and they have zero reasons to call. You sign an agreement that states when your do if you like your product pay for it and when you run into a catch in life they take care of you. Love love love them. Have spent thousands of dollars with them and always know my same as cash price.

After being lied to and disregarded by the previous manager, the new manager Aaron helped me out. Half of my furniture never got ordered from the old manager, and what did wasnt even the correct pieces! Luckily Aaron helped me get what I needed, and even gave me a discount for waiting nearly three months for the previous manager mistakes. Thanks Aaron!

We had ordered items and then wanted to change the order so they did a refund to my debit card and charged us for the new order. A few days later we get a call from them saying they refunded us twice. We hadnt received the refund yet and explained to the clerk who said it must be an error on their side and not to worry about it.Thats when ALL THE CRAZY STARTED. We got a second message saying they would not deliver our new order until we paid them the money for the order we cancelled. When I called the store to ask if I could email them a copy of my bank statement showing we only received one refund. The woman who works there immediately got belligerent telling me they dont have email and we got a cash refund and used that for our first payment on the new order and we got a bank refund. I said if I could send her my bank statement she would also see that I paid with a debit card for the new items.Then she just started making more stuff up. She said so many different scenarios of what we did and it got so ridiculous I told her to cancel all of our rentals and forget the delivery. I said we would stop in to return a laptop my daughter was getting from them.When we went in, the woman who was making things up was there. I asked to talk to anyone but her but she said she was the only one there (as we see the other employee in the back office). She then started making up more stuff, just ridiculous stuff about how I called my bank to stop payment, how she was going to have the fraud department investigate, and she just kept going. I asked her to please look at my bank statement and she could plainly see we didnt get it twice AND SHE REFUSED TO LOOK AT IT!There were a lot more crazy accusations made but Ive gone on too long already.When we first went in there they had a great guy running the place but he moved back home. I have never ever met anyone as bad at her job as this woman.I will never recommend this place, even if she leaves because the store looked so bad and had just become really bad anyway. I havent ever had a worse experience than this and Im wondering if I should contact a lawyer.

Sold me a broken bed and used furniture they claimed was brand new. Called me constantly regarding get payments already made through easy pay on weekly. Both of the females work have a attitude anytime you walk in there. You are better off going to Aarons or doing layaway through Ashleys.

Absolutely a terrible location. I know four people who got beds from this rent-a-center. Two of them got beds that smelled of smoke. My roommate got bed bugs from them.Since then they were unhelpful - they claimed that they could not be at fault even though the only thing infected with the bed bugs was the mattress. This was a brand new apartment with no previous residents.If you need something to sleep on I highly suggest that you buy an air mattress short term, and then use the savings from this to buy a new bed yourself. Do not put yourself into the situation where you have an infestation that could cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars.

I ordered a 2piece red salsa sofa and love seat from this location BRAND NEW! I paid it off at the 6month same as cash deal that I dnt think is really a deal but that’s another story! However, the love seat began to tear apart! On the back side the staples that hold the leather to the wood began to pop out! This was on the 7th month of me having this “brand new” furniture! When I called the store the manger said it was nothing she can do since I didn’t purchase a continued care plan that she never offered me! Now me being a pretty smart young lady I knew that this was a manufacturer defect that was not my fault so I called corporate! I then got a call back from the district manager Steve who wanted to tear the couch apart and give me back a refurbished couch! I paid a total of 2,000 for both pieces and did not want anything refurbished! I then called back to corporate and it took days to get another call back from the regional manger Stephen! He then ordered me what suppose to have been a “new” love seat but when agents from rent a center delivered the love seat to my home I instantly realized this love seat was even worst then the first one! They then tried to get me to sign a document stating this was a one time replacement and I refused! They called me back the next week offering to switch out one side of the old couch with this fake new couch and at this point I was over it! I told them I will see them in small claims court! At this point I dnt even want the whole sofa set I want my money back and I can order from Ashley directly! These ppl are scam artist and I will never step foot in another rent a center NO WHERE IN THE WORLD!

The workers are nice, but when it comes to actually getting things done or put together, theyre lazy, slow, and rude. Ive had my bedroom set for at least a month now and its still not all put together, wish i wouldve gone through aarons, much better service.

Awful service. Filled out an application twice and nobody called me. I called them 5 days later they were rude and they didn’t have anything in stock that I wanted and it was 3 times the price versus online. Total BS never will use them

This place is good if you want to get ripped off i went here and bought a washer and dryer within the 90 days and they still over charged me a tip of advice unless you absolutely need the appliance like a washer and dryer fridge or something that you cant live in your house with dont go to these thieves
