These guys are very hard to work with even though they said they would work with us. I had to take a leave of absence last year for my surgery and was out of work for three weeks and they said they can only skip one week but had to make it up for the missing payment. I had an accidents that made me be out of work for a week and a half and they told me I had to spilt my payment again. I waited for about 24 hours before I touched my bank account and they claimed it was my fault. Also my battery died within a few months after I got the vehicle I told them about and they said theres nothing they can do about it. I also had pay $250.00 for a radio because the previous owner broke the radio so it stopped working after a few months too and they said theres nothing they can do about it. I wouldnt go through them I would go to Churchill auto.

Super nice staff! But prices were outrageous.. granted its a buy here pay here place. But quoted is on a 2006 vehicle at $17,00-$25,000 range. Car was not worth that much. Was able to get a 2013 at $8,000 somewhere else with a shorter term. If youre able to get approved somewhere else, take their offer. This is and will be an EXTREME last resort (Im talking zombie apocalypse, with 3rd world war consideration). Would rather buy a 2006 vehicle that needs $3000 worth of work before EVER considering them as an option. Like I said, super nice people but will take the worst advantage of you if you let them. Not to mention the 2x a month payment that they quoted us. Went somewhere else and got a monthly payment for half the price and shorter term.

They will over charge you on cars, and when something happens to the car and they tow it to fix it, dont count on ever getting it back. They will say you dont have to make a payment untill you get the car back and they will defer ur payment, a month later I get a letter from them repossessing the car cuz of no payment. There mechanic is the Ford dealership and if you call to check on it car they put u on hold and never come back. They all are such lieing scam ppl at the Fallon dealership, NEVER GET A VEHICLE FROM FALLON EVER.

During the pandemic, we asked for a deferred payment, provided all documentation, then told they would “work with us and they will make it all work out”. Received a phone call stating if a payment wasn’t made within 10 days that a 30 day late payment would be reported to credit bureaus. When asked why is this happening when we asked for a deferment, they said that the payment was not actually “deferred” but that they were just trying to work with everyone. They took zero responsibility/accountability and kept passing the buck, stating things like “well it won’t affect the credit that much” or “we never said it was deferred”, and at one time stated that this was our fault.I explained that this is not “working” with anyone, this is telling people that it will be ok, when in actuality they are not doing anything but allowing people to be late and suffer the normal consequences, and then turning around and blaming the people? She put us on hold, then came back saying that the late payment would hit but then hopefully after 90 days it would be fixed.The only point I wanted to get across was that they should not be lying to people, and they could not even admit that they were lying, instead they passed the buck even more saying, “we’ve never deferred a payment before” or “we didn’t know if would hit the credit” . Again I explained that that is what they should be telling people, the truth.Bottom line is that if they can’t do anything to help, that is ok, but they need to be honest and explain to people that at this time they are unable to defer payments and that late payments will be reported to the credit bureaus.

Worst company ever. The car kept braking down. When they asked me to bring it in I was there all day and they never did anything. They asked me to bring it in for a diagnostic and it took over 3 hours. Please do not buy from this place!!!!!!!!!!!

I got such a great deal shopping with these folks. I purchased an entire living room set and an entire bedroom set and got it for a price cheaper than I could have got anywhere else even in Reno. They were willing to negotiate discounts with me on all of the furniture and I got a really good deal. And now Im enjoying my new king size bed and my awesome sectional sofa with built-in recliners. Ill definitely be back.

I had an awesome experience at American Auto. Back in March I totalled my Subaru and had to begin the process of buying a new car. Joe was totally awesome and found me the perfect car. I still love my Honda CR-V! I highly recommend them.

American auto credit was wonderful, they where very professional and friendly. They where able to make me a great deal on the car of my choice and where able to provide me with payments that fit my budget and my pay schedule. American auto credit was very straight forward and reliable when it came to fixing the few small problems i had with my car and they fixed in a very timely manor.

Went from 5 stars to 0 in a year. Worst APR% Ive been served ever. Im paying 3x as much as the vehicle is worth. Had other creditors tell me that I got taken advantage of and theres no way into refinancing for cheaper payments violated my contract and paychecks. Dont come here if your new into buying vehicles theyll take advantage of it.

Greeted warmly by Joe. Showned car made deal. In and out in less than 4 hours. Longest time was the paperwork. Really enjoyed my experience. Only thing that would have made it even better was getting a lower interest rate. Oh well next time. And there will be a next time.

They have really good customer service I have brought two friends to this location and both of them walked out with vehicles. They work with people who have no credit or low credit. This is a good way to build your credit for 1 to 2 years an then get something else if you decide too.

Ive been a customer for a long long time. Weve had to deal with Gina for the last year. She has the worst customer service and is extremely rude! Need to pay a few days later then planned called ahead of time and she claims it was taken care of both times she took the payment anyways. Ive called to talk to Chris Henning never to have a return call made. I will take my business else where after this.

I dealt with them before change of name but I would avoid going through them until they can start charging reasonable prices for the trade in vehicles they get at Fallon Auto Mall. They have some of the shadiest practices I have ever seen people should not have to pay new car prices for used cars and then charging 25% apr on top of it is insane. If you need a used car and have credit/budget issues etc... check out Crawdaddys Used cars in Reno they helped me get into a new car that is affordable, in great condition, and has fair terms they will treat you right it is worth the drive.
