I made an appointment at this location in Exeter for a Covid test. The online directions were very clear and concise, but the staff; not so much. The instructions stated that I was NOT to roll down the window, but the pharmacy tech yelled at me when I didnt because she couldnt read my license. (Glasses probably wouldve helped her!) I was anxious about the test to begin with and the person working at Rite Aid not only did nothing to ease those fears, but made them worse by being short and rude. I would NOT recommend getting tested here! Compassion and a little empathy goes a long way.

Paid for prescription via text. Went to drive up and they requested another payment.Have been a customer for 15+ years and wanted payment AGAIN before I could have meds.Thank goodness these meds were not to keep me alive.Where are the regulars who work there and who know their customers?Shame on you Rite Aid.Here I was trying to prepay to prevent any COVID contamination.

Rite Aid corporate office is the BEST ! They Care for your Health. I had a small problem with an order from a new tech. ( For Glaucoma eye drops ). After I called the Corporate Office. My prescription was done within an hour . Instead of waiting 3 days which is what the new tech said. So Actions speak Volumes. Rite Aid cares about theyre stores, and theyre customers!

Was publicly humiliated in the drive thru by the pharmacist. I have been severely, chronically ill for almost 6 years and take several medications as a result. My doctor is in Boston as that is where we lived when we first moved here and he knows my complicated history well. Also, whenever I have to go to the hospital I have to go to MGH as these other hospitals are not capable of treating my complex health problems. It is a pain having to drive all the way to Boston for my doctor’s appointments, and I usually have to rush back to NH after to get my kids from school on time, so I take my prescriptions to this Rite Aid or the nearby CVS, which are on my way home. A couple of my medications, that I take every month and have for years, are “always out of stock”. My husband (as I am too sick to drive all over New England), is always sent from pharmacy to pharmacy on a wild goose chase every month to find a pharmacy with my medication. Even the pharmacy next to my doctor’s office almost always says they don’t have my medication in stock. Sometimes, my doctor even has had to substitute my medication so we can find a pharmacy with it. When there’s a delay, I am bedridden. I have young children and can’t afford to be bedridden, unable to eat or even get dressed due to being unable to find my medication. We’ve moved 4 times to 4 different states in 3 years due to my husband’s job. I don’t stop being sick just because we move. Because of that and my many hospitalizations and the wild goose chase to find my medication every month, I have had to get my medication from different pharmacies and have seen different doctors. I have no control over this. The Rite Aid pharmacist, however, said that they will never fill any of my prescriptions ever again because she cares about her “job” more than the life of a chronically ill customer. One of my other medications, which is always in stock, is vital for me to take without missing doses. Recently, I missed a couple of doses due to a hospitalization. I then had a seizure. Luckily, my husband was there and we were at my doctor’s office getting my prescription, so they were able to get me help right away. ER said the seizure was due to the missed doses and said to get my prescription filled right away. If I miss a dose or two again, I could very well have another seizure when I’m alone, with my kids, or in the car unable to call for help. I tried to explain this to the pharmacist but she did not listen or care. I was made to feel like less than a person, like I didn’t matter, in public. I was in tears, because the pharmacist refused to hear or understand that my moving and hospitalizations are not my fault. I don’t even know if I will be able to get my children’s medications anymore.I always got an unwelcome, unfriendly vibe whenever I went to this Rite Aid. I chalked it up to northerners just being rude people in general and me being probably the only person of color in this town/village. But refusing to service me at all for reasons that are not my fault and making sure the whole pharmacy could hear my business was humiliating and hurtful. I want my family to move away from New England and it’s terrible treatment of me and my family. It’s not fair to be punished for being sick.

Multiple negative experiences, one in which i was badgered by a pharmacy worker who embarrassed me regarding a very personal medication while in drive thru, and i ultimately reported her. Multiple times afterward have been met with significant wait times for routine things that simply need a label and are made ahead of time. Different excuse every time. Terrible service in pharmacy. Changing to another pharmacy.
