I go here for all my parts. I like that I can find coupon codes to get things cheaper online too. My only real gripe is that the tall, skinny guy with the mustache accused me of lying about using a brand new car jumper when I returned it. He was always nice to me before and after that incident, but Im still sour. The older lady and older gentleman are always nice too.

After 3 other places failed, they had exactly what I needed at a comparable or better price. There wasnt enough on the rack they got some from the back for me. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

I dont give bad reviews often and it is possible this is a good location and I caught them on an off day. I bought a alternator from them and it turned out to be bad right out of the box and my return was no problem. When I brought the core back to them for my credit I was told they could not give me my credit due to the fact I didnt bring the box back and i was told very rudely that this is common practice and I should have read the receipt as the receipt apparently says to bring the box back with the core for credit when i looked at the receipt it says nothing about it also checked their website ... also Doesnt say i have to bring the box back. The reason why its a big deal was i drove out of my way to do this they could have just given me credit and politely asked me to bring the box next time I buy something with a core credit. Super rude.

Summary: My car wouldnt start due to battery problems, so I had to walk to this store they ended up giving me a ride and lending me tools to change my car battery helping tremendously.My car battery died on me at work one day so I needed a new one. I had managed to get my car home through getting jumps from Co workers but once I got home... I had nobody to jump me. So with a dead car and nobody to help at the time I looked for auto stores around where I lived that were within walking distance. So I came across Advance Auto Parts on Everett Ave. So I placed an order online for in store pickup (coupons saved some cash) and I headed there to go pick up the battery. Mind you I live over a mile away and walking back to my home would be a full uphill walk WITH a battery! Was not look forward to that! So when I got to the store I explained to the lady at the counter whos name was Pam, a very nice lady! She told me to hold on a second to see if she could help me out so I wouldnt have to carry the battery all the way home. So she comes back out and tells me she got me some help with a ride home to my car! Steve was the man who came out and helped me in not only giving me a ride home but also let me the tools needed to change the battery! Very very nice people working here if I could give a 6 star you bet I would! Thank you Steve and Pam!

Helpful and courteous staff, yet didnt have the part I needed.

I understand when people get busy and don’t have time to warrenty a part, but when your rude and snobby with me and I have a truck full of frozen goods worth 18k that is thawing on the side of I5 due to a defective alternator, yet I was still willing to buy another one even though it should have been warrantied. But the gesture by their personnel that made me feel as if I’m a nobody just bc I didn’t have a commercial account set up. The business I own made more in 1 month than most of their employees make in one year yet I take the time to treat everyone with respect.

I called looking for a crankshaft sensor but they are special order so the guy behind the counter says i should get the camshaft sensor instead and maybe that will work. I end up not needing it and try to return it for them to tell me there are no returns. I would think they would tell me this at the time of purchase now im stuck with a 70 $ part i dont need will not be back!

Good place that gets the parts you need, sure. And available machine shop which most stores dont have. But they always put you on hold very very long time when calling. 15 to 20 minutes ++.

In the middle of a two hour drive on the freeway with my friend from Ferndale to Renton, the accelerator stopped working and our engine overheated. We had no idea how to fix the problem and knew nothing about cars, so we took the nearest exit and stumbled upon this store. The man working at the register, Tim, was so kind and fixed our coolant issue in less than 10 minutes for no cost. The car worked beautifully for the rest if the trip. We were so lucky to find this store and that Tim was so generous. We couldnt have made it without him. Thank you!

Horrible customer service! I have never in my life have been treated the way they treated me. Horrible customer service, never calling me, and trying to charge me more than what they quoted. I dropped my engine head so they could run a pressure test on it. I dropped it off on a Monday, they told me they will have it done and ready for me the coming up Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around and I dont hear anything from them all day, so I gave them a call and they told me they havent even looked at it. Okay >:[ they told me they will take a look at it the next day [Thursday] well Thursday rolls around and I dont hear anything from them again, so I gave them a call and when they answered they had the same response. We havent had time to look at it we will get to it tomorrow so Friday rolls around and I just decided to give them a call in the morning to make sure they would look at it, there response was the guy that checks engines heads is not working we will have to wait till Monday to check it when he gets back I responded by telling themthis is unacceptable you told me the part was going to get checked on Wednesday and youre trying to push it to Monday, wtf! So they responded by telling me that they will take it to the everett shop and it will be done. I was cool with that. So Im waiting all day and they close at 6pm, Im waiting and waiting 5:15 rolls around and still no call, so I gave them a call to check on it. They told me it was completed and there were no problems with it. They never called me instead they made me call them every single time. Then when I got there and was about to pay the lady had the nerves to tell me that I was going to be charged 15 dollars more because they had to take it to everett. I told them F no in a very nice way and basically argued with them in a nice way as well so I could get the price they quoted. They also had the nerve to tell me they kept pushing my part check farther out because theyre a wholesale company first and business sales are more important then mine. They had a wholesale sale come in right after me dropping off the part. They were about to check my part before Wednesday but had a business wholesale came through so they decided to kick my business to the curb. Obviously they dont need customers business if theyre doing this. The whole situation resulted in them basically telling me that they dont care about their customers that we are not important to them. Our business means nothing to them and that they would rather deal with wholesale business then take care of first come first serve. It was really sad that they would do something like this. Id suggest never doing business here unless you want to wait a long time and then get charged more money at the end when theyre done doing whatever you want them to do.Horrible business and they dont deserve to do business with customers.
