Large restaurant in Sherman Oaks that makes a fantastic pizza pie! Everything we had was great and you can even build your own. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Place was clean and has outdoor sitting area. Great place to eat.

Really bland, thin pizza. Sauce and toppings were not very generous. They only have one pizza size, which feeds about two people or one very hungry person. The garlic bread was bitter, did not have much cheese, and lacked saltiness. The atmosphere was cool with the copper ovens, but the decor was a little odd and all about people connecting. The ordering setup is fast casual where you order and pay at the register, but the atmosphere is trying to be fine dining. Overall, the restaurant comes across as one note and mismatched in atmosphere and focus.

Ive been here more than once & the place is great! I have had some of thee best service here. We went with a group of friends & all our orders of pizza were to die for!!! The desert was mouthwatering!! The owner also treated us with great importance & often checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time. He even went above & beyond treating us to a delicious desert for all on the house. 😊 10/10 if numbers could go higher they definitely would go above & beyond here. Thank you for the food!!!

This place is absolutely delicious. The pizza is amazing. I have a picky little sister and she loves this place. We tryed 3 different pizzas and they were all amazing. There is assigned seating so dont try to steal a table because I promise you that you will get kicked off the table. Does get a little crowded in the evening. Tables are assigned once order has been placed. You will not regret coming here.

Nice atmosphere and fantastic pizza. Everybodys super nice, and if you stay long enough and look like youre having fun they will bring you the worst dessert youve ever had for free.

I have been eating pizza and salads here since they first opened, I’ve had many bad experiences like waiting very long for my meals or getting my order wrong but I normally don’t make a big deal over things like these. Today, I got to this pizza place at 5:15 and left at 7:00 o’clock on a Wednesday night, yup! 2 hrs and $52.00 for a mediocre house salad with greens and tomatoes, 4 small meatballs and a veggie pizza. Will just go to fabroccinis or fresh brothers next time. Really bad service, mediocre food, shame because it used to be an okay spot.

Eating outside with a view of the Bay was awesome enough...but the food was terrific too! You have to have their crab sandwich...bountiful amounts of crab on their bread with kettle chips, a salad and a little coleslaw too! I meant to save some to take home, but ended up eating everything! My husband had the salmon entree and was surprised at how delicious it was and how the salmon was cooked perfectly! The only reason this isnt a 5-star rating is that service wasnt the best...there were long periods of time when we didnt see our waiter

Went here for dinner with my family for my 40th bday. Ate outside since indoor still isn’t allowed in California for the most part, especially in LA. The service was decent, not fabulous, but hey this is Covid and it’s hard. I was glad they were open, and they deserve a break. The food...OUTSTANDING. We had the garlic bread and burrata with melon for starters. We then moved onto double pepperoni pizza, and The Supremo. For desert we had the Nutella Calzone and Tiramisu. We were all stuffed and thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite of the deliciousness.

Pizza was delicious. Its fresh & light but full of flavor. The dessert, Gelato & sorbet were perfection!

Just got off the plane with family from LA and the first place they took me was here.The cashier, chef and manager (or owner) helped my wife and I with our order.The atmosphere and food is great; would highly recommend.

Their pizzas are the best, we got a four cheese pizza, it was delicious.The only problem was waiting for 20 minutes on the phone to place the order. After someone answered the call after 20 minutes, he asked me to hold, that was another 7 minutes.If you have the time this is the best pizza in this part of the city.

Very disappointed of the maintenance of this place, it used to look so pretty and nice but we visited couple of day ago and was so filthy and dirty (we went during noon) you could see dust everywhere, even on the plants! Service and food was only ok this time...something happened here!!!! Definitely not coming back again 😒

Pretty good! Good quality ingredients, and taste was mostly there. Margherita could use a slight bit more tomato sauce, as it was actually pretty difficult to taste, and appeared barely there. The garlic bread is a bit too garlicky for my taste, and has red pepper, which is different. Good quality and well-priced for Ventura blvd, though!

Im not sure if it’s the night manager, but the manager when me and my friends go at night Is always great, makes sure the customer service is good and accommodates is with seating ASAP. Thank you

Pizza was good, atmosphere was lesser. We were approached by random people twice in one night. One was trying to buy our pizza off us, and another trying to sell roses. Such is life on Ventura.

The pizza is great and the meatballs are awesome too. There is a line and they do not currently have indoor seating (as of 6/13). Get in line and order and pay at the cashier and they will assign an outdoor table and bring your food out when ready. Parking can be tricky but I can usually find something on Ventura if its early. Hoping they open up indoor dining and the bar seating soon.

The best gluten free pizza in LA! Its a light fluffy crust made with a blend of rice flour and cooked Napoleon style. Not that thin rock hard crust from everywhere else. And they have the best toppings. Really high quality. You can order of the menu or customize. The also have wine and beer. Remember to get a side of olive oil. I just wish they delivered to a wider range.

This is my friend groups go-to pizza place, and we missed it dearly during the pandemic. Its got a great atmosphere, and the pizza is good! The service has been a little less on top of things than usual, but I am sure that they will sort everything out in time. Also, the management has always been nothing but kind to my friends and I, so I would guess there are some details missing from the reviews saying otherwise.

I really expected better from this place.It was just ok to me.Service was not so good.The service disappointed me.I waited 25 mins for one Margherita pizza.And biggest deal was they served the customers that came after me first.!And they were about to serve others before me until I spoke up.The price was good tho.About $10 for a personal size pizza.The dough was a little over cooked.Meaning it wasn’t floppy and soft or like most Neapolitan pizzas.In all honestly I don’t think I’ll go back.!!!!

This is by far some of the best Pizza I’ve ever had in LA. I got “The Devil’s” and I HIGHLY recommend it if you’re into spicy stuff. Called for pickup and it was ready in about 30 minutes and with the separate counter for togo orders it was super quick & easy. Will definitely be coming back!

So many high reviews… firstly i expected so much better. The plates were SO dirty it’s like they didn’t even try to clean them. the tables and chairs look like they haven’t been cleaned too.. i just felt very uncomfortable especially with covid if the place isn’t clean. we didn’t leave as we were so hungry but we’re never coming back again.

Refined, sophisticated, absolutely gorgeous eating area. The quality of pizza is fantastic. Crust is wonderful, ingredients are fresh, and it all comes together to form a great tasting pizza. The selection of condiments and flavors are superb, as well—in addition to the standard parmesan and red chili flakes that are typically added to pizza, they also allow for their cold pressed olive oil, their house made chili oil, oregano, and more. The chili oil absolutely made my pizza—your mileage may vary, but its become a staple for my pizza. Overall, satisfaction doesnt even begin to describe my experience here.

My favorite to go pizza place! Its gotta be the upbeat music I love or just the great pizza, maybe both, but ambiance is just really cool and super clean.The Olive tree inside is really something, it says that it gives you feel calm, which is true.Go for the burrata cheese and melon starter, just unreal.

First let me say the Manager or a Owner and employees were very nice!!! I had a great experience here as this was my second visit. It is as authentic as Italian food back East for me being from Philly and I’m part Italian. So I know authenticity when I taste it. On my first visit me & famiglia ordered The Margherita, Chicken Pesto, and The Meats Pizzas, Meatballs, Chicken Salad, and a Nutella Calzone! My most recent visit got the Meats and Mango Gelato/Sorbet! It was so amazing and yummy and I plan on visiting again soon, thanks so much. I’d recommend this to anyone else!

Must have the double pepperoni. Amazing! A tad spicy, just like i like it. Delicious walnut and gorgonzola salad and not to mention the superb nutella calzone. The calzone could have had a slightly better presentation but who care its a calzone filled with nutella and fresh berries. OMG! We will be back.As for the atmosphere, it was lovely. The restrooms where very nice and cute, in theme. They have lots of great quotes throughout, a beautiful modern fire pit and black and white movie projected on a back wall in the evening. All in all great find.

The ambience of this resturant reminds me of being back in Europe. The heaters from above certainly helped with Californias outdoor dining policy. The service was absolutely amazing and humbling.The pizza was cooked to perfection and actually served as fast as I had ordered it. Definitely get the house salad with it for it to be a filling experience.They have a wide selection of wine, we went with the house and it was just as deliciousI happened to be on a special day meeting with a very close friend of mine. Jessie could tell that it was an important scene and ensured we especially had an amazing time. (She said its not a date 🙄 but Im pretty sure it went well enough to change her mind #thanks_Jessie.)

Delicious salads, great decor and atmosphere, and good service for random hours that aren’t during meal times. Loved the theme of the restaurant which is about how people are the best asset and resource. They also had a creative sign near the bathroom about meeting new people and becoming friends.

I used to go to this place all the time. Loved the pizza and the staff has always been nice. I went in last night as a scarf covering my mouth and nose and one of the pizza guys was totally out of control, told me if I didnt have a mask then I had to leave, proceeded to yell at me he was dead serious and threatening to fight me a female in a dress and heels, with a scarf covering my mouth and nose. Completely uncalled for and the owner and manager need to control their out of control staff. Usually I dont write reviews, or bad reviews but the one staffer there was completely out of control! He needs to be fired as he was a danger to customers!

I don’t want to be mean, cuz I love this place and I know it’s been super slammed lately with unpredictable conditions thanks to the pandemic, but the pizza I got tonight had barely been cooked. Veggies still raw, mozzarella slices barely even melted. The quality just hasn’t been the same lately.

We went on a busy Saturday night, so the line was quite long to wait in order, but so worth it, and we were salivating the whole time as we walked bye the lineup of delicious pizzas being compiled. Food came out quick, and was incredibly delicious. Only drawback was there was a slight odor outside where we were dining, but not Bad enough to bother us for long.

It’s my neighborhood restaurant and I always support them but they really need to add staff and improve service. I understand the consequences of Covid but now that you are open and there is enough demand, then add to your staff so service doesn’t suffer. I know you are focused more on delivery but if you choose to open then act like a real restaurant and have tolerable service.

I moved two blocks away from Midici Sherman Oaks three years ago. I’m not into pizza so much until then. I love how you can make your own or build your own. Any toppings you want. A great place to dine, ambiance is great, always plays good house music. 😃 Friendly staff. Manager is awesome. Love that they have good salad selections.

The service was exceptional! I visited Ventura for the weekend and the food was so good that I visited Midici every single day. The owner was kind, and authentically Italian. His daughter was our server, and she embodied her father, exuding kindness and happiness as she worked. The food was amazing, absolutely delicious... From the pizzas, to the drinks, to the dessert, you were beyond satisfied... And I didnt break the bank ordering lunch, dinner, or dessert! Thank you, Midici, for making me feel the love from Italia. The pizza is amazing and the service too! The chef even came out and gave us a free dessert to try and it just happened to be my birthday. The only issue I had wasnt with the restaurant but with the outside seating. The area seems safe but there are still some homeless and not so healthy looking people that might be hanging around. Other than that it was great. Next time Ill sit inside haha :)

The Truffle Pizza was good and did not take a terribly long time as a neighboring take was complaining about. The ordering service agents energy was lackluster by efficient. Day outside near a great lamp. Id go back with friends.

Im so glad we stumbled upon this place for lunch this weekend. i had a feeling itd be good as soon as we walked in but i didnt expect the combination of food and customer service to be incredible! as soon as we walked in there was a guy making the dough by hand and we watched him for a minute and he was smiling and waved at us. we made it down to the register and ordered our food, received our drinks with a positive attitude from the cashier. i was able to use the restroom before taking our seat which was very clean itself and very spacious as well. we actually talked to each other about the restrooms being nice! we sat down and didnt wait long until we received our pizzas which we scarfed down so quickly. i didnt leave a single crumb on the plate, it was so good. we decided to sit, chat and finish up our beverages when a young team member brought us a Nutella dessert compliments of their manager, Jesse. that was the cherry on top. he came over shortly after and we were so grateful, he really topped off the already impeccable service with a nice bow on top. ill be telling anyone and everyone to stop by here as the food was really good, worth the drive and im already trying to re-visit again and try something else all together!

Ordered delivery through on postmates. They delivered barely cooked raw pizza. They told me I had to contact postmates to get my money back bc they could not deliver new pizza. Postmates has no contact or help.

The pizza is excellent. The Gelato filled doughnuts were more like Gelato filled hamburger buns. It was good but still not what I imagined and largely disappointing. The credit card machine was not working and they did not make it clear where the online pick up order line was and where the regular line was. This caused some frustration and confusion.I want to 5 stars for the ingredients, pizza, and cooking. - 1 for poor communication.

My friend and I stopped by the other day and were blown away by the service. Yesser was so attentive and helpful. He gave great advice based on my dietary restrictions and made the experience feel like a bit of relaxation and fun during the pandemic. Everything was COVID safe and I can’t wait to go back soon!

I really wanted to like this place and I think the problem is that my wife and I got back from our honey moon 1 year ago from Italy and have been craving that authentic Neapolitan pizza. This place defiantly tries but comes up a bit short in. We came 30 min before closing and maybe that is the issue but the dough didnt seem as fresh as it could be I didnt care for the sauce or the cheese. Overall really not a bad pizza but not as good as Italy that is the take a way. A for effort C+ or B- for execution

If you dont have an hour to wait in line then get pick up. There only one cashier and takes 10-20 minutes for a group to order. We got there at 8:20 and by 9:30 we got to finally order at the cashier. With maybe 7 groups in front of us

Their pizza was the finest, and their dough was made from scratch every day. The pizza was still hot and the crust was still crispy when it arrived, despite the fact that it was shipped. The best of the best for unwinding.

Its a lovely restaurant, very nice atmosphere, great staff.I got a breakfast pizza for dinner - it was good, but.....Im not a fan of burnt crust and the ovens are 1,000 degrees and they cook the pizza in 90 seconds, which is awesome to crank out a bunch of pizzas really fast, but...... it burns the crust.I had bacon on my pizza and it didnt seem quite cook enough. Maybe they need to lower that temperature and cook the pizza another 30 seconds - bake it some way so the crust is beautiful golden brown - since the ingredients are wonderful and fresh if baked to perfection it would be a great place to become a loyal customer - just suggesting. I got a glass of wine - but it looked only a 1/4 filled - just saying. Its loud, and at night the lighting is very dim around the ordering station. One of the best things is the Nutella Fresh Fruit Calzone. Bon Apetit!

Delicious custom 🍕 made to your order. Is not a typical sit down, you wait in line then pay first then they bring your meal to you. It can get pretty packed during the evenings but great ambiance for a relaxed night.

Love neapolitan pizza. Hairdresser who is from Naples told me about Midici 2 yrs ago.OMG. Sooo god. Large menu Nd not at all like shy American pizza. Place is designed Italian. Pizza super thin. 900 over gets your pizza done in2 min flat. U can build ur own version of your taste. Have anti paste and gelato.SUPER GREAT. Wished they had one closer to me. Is in old Tower blog in ventura Blvd, Sherman oaks. Only bad thing is parking.

Ever since my wife and I have discovered this popular Sherman oaks pizza joint we love coming here for a pie and one of there amazing natuela berry colzones! The ambient is fantastic! I mean the owners dropped a fortune on decorating. The service is amazing. You can all ways count on the head chef and managers to walk around and personally great you or shake your hand. They occasionally let you know how much your business means to them by treating you to a dish on the house or a desert . Trust me there is so many great things to write about midici I dont even know where to start?This place is great ! If its to chill out and enjoy the ambient with a glass of wine and a meat and cheese plate or to share a pizza and salad this place has it all! Even their coffee is over the edge!Trust me give midici a try! For the price and causal comfort this place has it all and you will think for a second your at cafe Del Mar in Ibiza....

This is the worst restaurant on earth! It took them 25 minutes to prepare a vegetarian pizza which rather came out as plain bread baked in the oven! Seriously, how do you even dare to play with peoples time and money like the way you do! You have not even spent 2 dollars on your pizza!

Wanted an easy end to the weekend so ordered pizza. Two hours later pizza still hadn’t come, and no one at Grubhub or Midici had an explanation or much of an apology.

I am so upset and feel so disrespected. I came here from LONG BEACH to meet up with my family for lunch, I arrived 10 min earlier than my party and I needed to use the restroom because I drove over an hour to get here. When i asked if i could use the restroom while waiting for the rest of my party to arrive & the manager (IDK what kind of managing skills this dude has) wouldn’t allow me. He said i couldn’t use the restroom unless i bought something (like i said i was waiting for my whole party to arrive so we could ALL order SEVERAL things). I NEED TO PEE! He’s standing there pressuring me to order something (I don’t even know the menu and have diet restrictions so Im trying to look as fast as i can) HE WAVES me off and tells me he ISNT helping me. I thought you were the manager? Isn’t it your job to manage the situation? You think with the losses most businesses are taking because of COVID you would want our business. My family that i was waiting for comes to this restaurant at least once a week, sometimes more. This was my first time personally. The “manager” wouldn’t tell me his name but the staff let me know his name is Jesse. So Jesse, you are a poor representative of this business. I hope you find a job that you are more qualified for in the future. The cowardice and the disrespectful situation was overall very disappointing. Do better for the people who are keeping your business afloat.

I used to REALLY love the pizza here, but lately, and in the midst of 2020, it’s become substandard at best.Sorry, but I’ve had three experiences in the last 6 months where the pizza is literally like “Rubber”.I’ve had it delivered, picked it up, asked to have it uncut, to hopefully preserve the freshness upon delivery or pickup, but it’s been the same...The service and the employees are great.Their salads are good.Not sure how they can improve things with their pizzas...

My favorite pizza place in Los Angeles! Wonderful decor (sit by the indoor tree, at a counter, or on the patio), great service, great selection. I try a different pizza each time I come here. The margherita, Bianca, egg and bacon, and pesto pizzas are all wonderful! If you feel adventurous, try the Prisoners Pizza or Rough Guys. I love having a larger choice of seasonings available. Be sure to leave room for dessert.

This is the original location of what is becoming a chain of restaurants. The food was delicious and I would most definitely return next time Im in the vicinity.
