They were able to take care of issues with my truck in a timely manner that the Honda dealer couldn’t do without me leaving the auto at their place for 3 days just to diagnose it.

I went to Parra as part of the Costco Member program, originally just to change my lug nut on one of my tires. I liked their service and professionalism so much that I came back for air conditioning service. It look longer than expected to get the test results, but there found some leaks and replaced my Freon. They were very nice to work with.

Called a head for an oil change. They gave me a timeline of 90 minutes for an oil change. I called them 90 minutes after dropping my car and they had not even started the oil change. You would think in this consumer climate they would care about a customers time. I picked up my car still needing an oil change. This is my 1st and Last experience with Parra.

We were 30 days into a cross country trip when our van started having issues and we had to stay in the dallas/fort Worth area unexpectedly. What they did right: Professional, RespectfulWhat they did wrong: Everything elseScenario: I brought my car in for brake repair. My last brake job was in 2016 where my rotors and pads were replaced. My brakes have begun to emit the sounds that brkaes make when they need replacing. My goal was to get my vehicle into the shop before I needed to replace my rotors (AGAIN :( ). My car also had an intermittent shortage on the neutral side of the battery that I requested to looked at.What happened: I dropped my vehicle off with the team and was advised of their $45 dollar diag fee. I agreed and awaited for the call with their quote, which to their credit, was delivered very promptly (about 2 hours, although they were NOT busy at all). Service Consultant called me and quoted the following issues:Check engine light: They required more money to diagnose why the engine light was on.Tires: My sidewalls are beginning to wear.Windshield Wipers : Thats right ladies and gentlemen. The value of their diagnostic service knows no end. Not only will they tell you that the lights you see in your dash are, in fact illuminated, they will ALSO tell you what a mild thunderstorm will tell you.Brakes: My pads are at the point where they should probably be replaced, as well as your rotors. Quoted price for front and back brakes and rotors and service? $1050Battery Short: They had to replace the cable to start the car that I drove into their shop. Unavoidable cost of 65 bucks that I happily paid them.I asked the Service Consultant why this quote was so expensive; over a grand for brakes and rotors for a mid-size Hyundai sedan seemed quite expensive, which was validated by searches for parts and comparable rates from other service providers. The service consultant asked me when I last had my brakes serviced. I admit, I was deceitful, I ad vised theyd be done last year, but in truth it had been over 3 years. He told me the last mechanic shop used cheap Chinese parts, which is why it only lasted a year. I asked if there was any chance we could find a better value in regards to the parts, I drive a hyundai to work, not a corvette to Texas Motor Speedway after all. Service Consultant advised that this was no-go because of their warranty requirements. Fair point in their defense. I told the Service Consultant that Id pay them to fix the battery and Ill be there to pick up my car soon. Heres where my issue with my visit lies, despite paying the $65 for the repairs, I was also charged $45 for the diagnosis.TL;DR I was charged a diagnostic fee that was to be removed if repairs were approved. I approved repairs (not all of them obviously) but still was charged diagnostic fees. My experience made me feel distrustful and taken advantage of. In no way was the diagnosis valuable, and more importantly, I paid for their repairs. Poor business practices.

Parra Car Care is the best place for service repairs. Everyone is so friendly in there, and I am so pleased with the services. Randy recently worked on my Saturn, and he was so nice to me. I did not feel pressured at all, and did not make me feel uncomfortable. I been to a lot of auto shops, and they have treated me like I don’t know anything about cars ( I don’t really, but I know the basics ) . I didn’t really realize that my car needed a lot of work on, but I am glad that I took it to Parra Car Care because they fixed the problem. I give Parra Care Care 10 stars.

Excellent staff & service, honest & professional. I brought my truck in due to rough shifting between 1st-2nd gears. Not being an experienced motorhead, I assumed the transmission fluid needed to be replaced or something in the transmission was bad. They performed a thorough evaluation of my truck, and reset some of the computer settings that impact the shifting patterns. They indicated the transmission fluid still looked good, and did not need to be replaced at this time. This likely saved me at least a few hundred dollars by not performing unnecessary work.Due to the honesty & integrity of their operations, they have earned my business for as long as I am in this area.Thank you Ryan & Parra Car Care Team for your excellent service.

Parra Car Care opened a new location off Davis in North Richland Hills recently and did an outstanding job for my mothers 2000 Infiniti. The most amazing mechanic Ive ever been to, hands down. Friendly and willing to go the extra mile, which is virtually unheard of in most mechanics nowadays. I especially like that they did not simply give me a bill, but instead went over each item with me, how much it would cost, and if/why it was necessary. Everyone was sincerely friendly and nice and didnt treat me like just another customer. Beyond doing a perfect job fixing the problems I was having, I was pleasantly surprised to find they had even washed my car when I got it back (it was rather dirty and I had been meaning to find time, but they found it for me!). They even offered to come get me when I was having trouble finding a ride to take me to pick my car up. Its so very hard to find a mechanic who is fair, who genuinely cares about you and your car, and who does a great job, and Parra Car Care does all of these and more. I will definitely be coming back and recommending them to all my friends!

These guys are great! Took my 2011 Ford Explorer to the Euless shop with a water leak. They diagnosed that it was a water pump which turns out to be very expensive to replace on this model of Explorer. Not to fear, they determined that the repair was covered under my Ford warranty and were able to do the repair and bill my warranty. Took me from a very expensive repair to a small deductible.
